Smosh vs Zombies first episode being about the apocalypse, sure, but also largely being about Savannah and Brodie both desperately trying to get the approval of Gracie (who is awful <3) while Bernardo hangs out and makes Cool Art Kid comments. Which is the perfect level of engaging bc its so fucking funny and compelling narratively but they're all just terrible enough that I wont be TOO broken up if any of them die.

(most of the characters being enamoured with Amanda's character makes perfect sense. im not at all influenced by Amanda wearing a top I find deeply flattering btw)

I envy my fellow Malevolent fans who can remember all the names/key story beats/mystery elements throughout the series and connect dots conspiracy board-style. Couldn't be me. I am just along for the ride. I don't listen to this series for the detailed narrative I listen to it to hear two fucked-up idiots bicker and kill monsters and experience The Horrors. And for the sound design.

My theory is that in the “neutral” ending for cass’s route it wasn’t actually her the cult actually killed her (don’t ask me why they did) and made us actually hallucinate Cassandra and made us believe that she fucked off too New York and got a new chick so the cult could cover up the fact they killed her (I’m fucking delusional)
