i think its insane that bmo is getting a preschool show. i know hes made to take care of kids but every bmo episode is like

"bmo kills his sibling on his birthday and has to deal with th trauma all on his own forever"

or "bmo is lost in the woods and watching his own biological clock tick away he cant protect the baby he found he cant protect the man he just fell in love with and then his fiance is killed in front of him by the people he promised would protect him"

and "bmo and his reflection just established that they love each other, but they dont love each other more than freedom, now bmo's trapped in the mirror dimension while he and his reflection try to either kill one another or destroy any means of escape"

like i cnat stress enough. every bmo episode is like this. bmo noire, guardians of sunshine, orb, they are all like this. the only lighthearted bmo episodes are president porpoise and always bmo closing, and even president porpoise has bmo forcing dark shit into the game. him and ice king are like yay yay yay little colorful submarine trip:) and then bmo is like SOLDIER WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF AIR AND THE ENEMIES AR E SHOOTING.AT US WE ARE. like, i dont think preschool kids cant have a host like bmo i just think its insane. if they strip all the darkness from his character he'd be so weird. hes a sad traumatized little guy. hes cute and sweet and hes good at taking care of kids, but every bmo episode in advtime proper is dark and wild

Regularly frustrated by the fact that most of my fixations aren't mainstream enough to have much in the way of official merch, but for the sake of both my sanity and my wallet, that's probably a good thing

#GG ironically is probably the biggest #but a lot of it (or at least the characters I like) is still either really old and hard to find or requires a shitton of import fees #got into a bit of a rabbit hole of videos abt what smash bros characters have figures/plushies #baffling to see that Little Mac hasn't really had much of anything at all since the 80's #and those were of dubious quality anyway...#ARMS basically never got anything in general #katamari was pretty much always niche Japanese stuff aside from like two things that got released with the reroll series #I think psychonauts got a little pool of stuff from fangamer but that's still mostly art iirc #frontier is the black sheep of digimon so there's like nothing for that either #I suppose bugsnax had a little despite being an indie game #shoutout to my big sister for buying me the Filbo doll as a christmas present #sly's got zilch aside from the really limited funko afaik #I suppose my main vice is pokemon #no shortage there #but my favorite pokemon is fucking trubbish so we're not on the level of pikachu here #(yes I own the sitting cutie trubbish and he's my special little boy)#hmm.#street fighter is a pretty big series isn't it?#somehow I haven't looked much into its merch #outside of trying to find the little standee figure they made for bosch #perhaps I will regret it #christ even my favorite disney movie is the one that never gets any merch of it #I'm not sure if I'm very lucky or incredibly unlucky #op back on her bullshit

I think he wants us to grow up some...

Besides bringing up the topics of mental health wellness, the dangers of over-drinking and finding out Jimin can turn out bangers for songs, there were a few other take aways from this past week:

1. Jimin has introduced us to the fact he says “fuck off.” I bet he says it a lot. If I had to put up with all the bullshit he does, I’d be grumpy and yell fuck off a lot too. I want to hear him say it while he’s reading comments during a live. While giggling.

2. Jimin keeps prodding us constantly and subtly by showing us things that are queer. This is not new. There is a message there. At the very least, Jimin is interested in showing us different ideas about gender identity using his own performances. Try to comprehend. Google is your friend.

3. Jimin tried to gently introduce us to visuals of him being touched intimately by women AND men who are not the other members. Touching his face is intimate. Touching his torso is intimate. Sliding a hand up his thigh was intimate. It was a touching gangbang... ahem... okay, that word was extreme, sorry, where were we? Oh yeah... anyway.

4. Jimin has images of people making out in Like Crazy. People kissing. Each other. On the lips. Swapping spit and stuff...well, I’m just assuming that. I bet he’s done that before too. Rabbit spit is spicy.

5. Jimin partying in a club. With people. Dancing on the bar. Throwing back shots. Dancing with men who are not the other members. Maybe your eyeballs had probably fallen out of your head already so you might have missed it. Go find them and then go look at the video again.

6. Jimin is not afraid to show us his body art. However, he understands the power of teasing us and he wields that power deftly. But he sure wanted to show off his beautiful moons and he did. FINALLY!

I think Jimin wants us to grow up so he can show us the adult that he obviously is. I want us to grow up too so he can show us his adult themes. Stop telling any of them to what to do. They are grown ups.

AITA for forgetting my gf's biggest fear?

For some context, a while back we had gone to this sort of park and a man there had a pet wolf and my gf (40 yo) kinda freaked out and had asked me not to bring her around wolves bc she was scared of them.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks later, we're at this monastery one of our friends recommended but I didn't know one of the ones in charge had two huge wolves and I (230 yo) had forgotten that my gf was deathly afraid of them and now she won't talk to me
