I hadn't considered Weasel being replaced as a Head, but God, he really would be. 200 years of service and devotion and dozens of deaths to be replaced by a nepobaby. A trained nepobaby that he was forced to apprentice, but a nepobaby nonetheless. He would be pissed. But he'd still do it, at that point he would trust the Lamb's judgement, regardless of his personal opinions on it.

Explodes into goo. I don't think he would be fully replaced, or any of the Heads, really, I think they would be demoted from their positions. They'd still have power and prestige, but... not what they had. By the time the False Sheep come into play enough to take important jobs, I think the Lamb would become a little... fixated, to say the least.

As for any specific False Sheep OCs, I do not have any developed, just vague ideas and potential directions.

The Fear of Death - A CotL AU

"You can't escape Fear. Even when you become death itself, the fear of it does not, and will never, fade."

What if the lamb never wanted this. The lamb got killed, given no choice, and then confronted with the fear of dying permanently again right at the end.

Hi, hello,

Welcome to my blog about my lamb oc and stuffs. I don't do stuff like this usually.

This… this is gonna be a wild ride, I think. Feel free to read, asks are open too I guess, I like rambling.

AU Premise:

Based on the newest save file of mine, it follows a lamb that started its journey purely out of, quite understandable, fear. Its kind slaughtered, beheaded in front of 4 bishops, and then given no choice but to accept by dear old Narinder. This is not a lamb that grows to like what situation they have been put in. They don't grow close to Ratau, they don't feel connected to their first followers (with so far 1 exception), and they don't feel ready to take vengeance just yet. They are scared, but what scares them more than defying death himself? So, due to survival, they go on. And each day, for the sake of continuing to not lose their mind, the lamb's personality, past life and all gets buried under a deep, hard shell.

The lamb fears death, and yet they're dying inside out (metaphorically).

But as the story goes on, while the lamb loses a lot, they also gain a lot in terms of fighting knowledge, confidence, even being acknowledged by the crown itself, and eventual want for revenge, culminating in facing Narinder, where the fear of death flairs up and culminates with all else.

They defeat him, all is well, right? But life moves on, the cult they were forced to make doesn't disappear, and even Narinder himself, given the option to kill him, lamb does not give him the right to not face any further consequence. And what else happens? Lamb, through outside forces (like Mr. God tear trader), is informed they are the new god of death, and need to deal with the bishops once more out of command.

Forced once more to do something, and now dealing with a slow but continual progression into godhood. A godhood of death, as the lamb loses the abilities to enjoy many things of the past, from tasting foods, to losing their heartbeat, and so on. Dying inside out, feeling cold, no longer a mortal, but also not pleased with the godly deck dealt.

The first bishop to deal with? Leshy, taken in like Narinder, intended to suffer consequences, again like Narinder. But what does the former god of chaos, of never-ending change that now eludes the lamb do?

Adapt.

As in fuck up the entire plan by enjoying the second chance given somehow, and making a new god question if they're even avenging their kind at this point because this worm has (platonically) weaseled his way into a cold unbeating heart

Truly, what a life.

All the while Nari gets to drunkenly complain

And this makes this save something to explore so like. Maybe ill do it more if this works.

every day i wake up hurling that i just missed the weasel mask in sky cotl. apparently that traveling spirit comes back every time the game releases on a new platform traditionally. can they invent a new platform to release sky cotl on

I have done MULTIPLE write up for cotl au ideas and because I am a divine being who forgets the struggles of mortals I forget to type it up on my notes app and instead use the tumblr text box on my phone, which deletes everything in it when you tab out, and also regularly forget how to spell Kallamar’s name mid ramble, go to google it, and tab back in to see it all gone. Curse you kallamar you pathetic traitorous weasel.

Ya know, I'm curious as to why sheeps don't appear to be an option to revive in cotl. Mind you, I'm not a huge follower of the game. Just know some snippets here and there. So, here is the start of some characters I conjured up.

What would happen if some sheep (and unfortunate goat) folks that were massacred in the beginning came back for revenge. They were able to weasel their way out of Death or Purgatory and come back to find those who ordered their slaughter. So, we have the lamb fight his own kind because they need to protect their flock, which includes those pesky and somewhat reformed bishops & god of death. I'm not sure if I want them to be undead or some dark shadow elderich being with ulterior motives beyond their comprehension brought them. 🤔 Meh, we'll get there when we get there. Plenty of time to figure this out.

So we have the chunky short and deceptively decrepit Cardinal and the silent soaked and ominously towering Sister. I attempted to reference their method of death in their designs. So, hopefully, that is legible if not. Oh well! XD

I'm still figuring out a few more of my own. I'm thinking of a lonely and allpowerful child at the head of this vengeful group, a lady that regrets her sacrifice, a guy who was in the wrong place and wrong time.

I'm not sure if anyone has done this idea before, but if the community would love to create their own revived wooly folk. I'd love to see them!

Decided to name Weasel's nepo-baby replacement "Jury" or some play on the word like Juree? Jurei?

I imagine them having a sort of "judge, jury, and executioner" motif in their personality and design

Feel bad for Weasel Man. They worked so hard, have a golden skull necklace, and did their due diligence at Lamb's side, and now the moment another pops ups they're cast aside without a second glance :(

Hmm... I like the motif and idea (I am in love with any character who's a play on a corrupt justice system for obvious reasons), but I'd say that's a better suited character for the Head of Enforcement rather than Weasel, the Head of Missionarywork. So I'm stealing Jurei for that. Hah. Hah. Hah. Evil laugh.

And yeahhh rip in pieces Weasel. He crippled his moral values for the Lamb for 200 years of service and cast aside like nothing. He deserves it, but. Also. Very unfortunate.
