ANYA MAKES A SPLASH AT TARTOSAN ROYAL WEDDING
Crown Princess Anya headed over to Tartosa over the weekend to attend the royal wedding of Tartosa’s Crown Princess Gianna to her long term boyfriend, Armando.
The affair was filled to the brim with royals and a-listers from all over the world. Among the attendees were the King and Queen of Sulani, the King and Queen of Arendahl, Selvadorada’s Crown Prince Couple, Prince Alfonso of Selvadorada, and Prince Liam and Princess Marisse of Newcrest.
(Above: Royals galore! Royals from all over flocked to see Tartosa’s future Queen wed her long time love.)
The daytime wedding called for hats instead of tiaras, but our favourite royals still dressed to impress. Sulani’s Queen Marguerite, for one, dazzled in a lovely red dress, while Arendahl’s Queen Geraldine was a vision in plum.
Our very own Anya, meanwhile, stunned in Brindleton blue, wearing a vintage, belted blue lace dress, originally belonging to her mum, The Queen. Her Royal Highness also stuck with blue in the accessories department, complete with blue court shoes, and matching clutch and fascinator.

The festivities continued at the Tartosan Royal Palace, following a religious ceremony at the Cathedral. The newlyweds - a picture of happiness - treated their adoring public to a balcony appearance after the ceremony. Crown Princess Gianna walked down the aisle in an altered vintage dress. The dress was the same one worn by her mum, Queen Estafania, when she got married to the late Prince Lorenzo all those years ago. The dress was “updated” by altering the sleeves and removing the original 10-foot train.

While the newlyweds were, by far, the centre of attention, photos taken during the event also managed to raise some eyebrows due to some *interesting* shots taken of Crown Princess Anya.
Her Royal Highness attended the event alone, but she was in no way lonely.

She was photographed greeting the Tartosan Queen with a deep curtsy, and giving Prince Javier a peck on the cheek. (Prince Javier was actually the one to walk her older sister down the aisle!) The Crown Princess was also spotted walking and chatting with count-slash-former-chef-slash-wine-tycoon Niccolò Tartos, the current Queen’s first cousin. Of course, this is no surprise, since Anya is apparently good friends with the Tartosan Royal Family, following her successful visit to the country earlier this year. HRH apparently also received a personal invitation from the bride herself to come to the wedding.
Anya was also greeted by even more familiar faces, by way of the Selvadoradan Royals. Crown Prince Ishmael and his wife, Crown Princess Julia, were present for the wedding, along with the Crown Prince’s younger brother, Prince Alfonso. Fun fact: the Selvadoradan Royals are related to the Tartosan Royals. The current Tartosan Queen and the Selvadoradan Queen have the same great-great-grandfather: King Francisco I of Selvadorada.

Crown Princess Anya is famously good friends with Selvadorada’s Crown Prince Couple, who eventually asked Anya to be their firstborn’s godmother. Of course, Alfonso and Anya also get on really great together, and have multiple shared interests.
One particular video clip shared online piqued the interest of many. The 15-second clip showed Prince Alfonso playfully touching Anya’s now-short hair. Several self-professed ip readers claim that the hunky Prince told Anya:
“You cut it! It looks great on you! You look beautiful.”
The “flirty exchange” caused a hailstorm of online chatter, with people speculating whether or not the two are just friends, or perhaps something more.
(Above: A still from the now-viral clip shows the moment when Prince Alfonso tenderly touches Anya’s hair.)
While Anya and Alfonso have been spotted together numerous times at various public events, their relationship appear to be wholly platonic (although he was said to be the cause of Anya’s break-up with Duke Mario of Lakan - but that’s more Mario’s issue, really).
If - and that’s one big IF - Alfonso is, at the very least, considering catching Anya’s eye, he should act fast. If rumours are to be believed, he’s got some competition. Tartosan news outlets report that Queen Estafania is hoping to play matchmaker for her son, Prince Javier, and Anya. Other sources, meanwhile, report that Niccolò Tartos is also really keen about pursuing Brindleton’ future Queen.

And that’s just the Selvadoradan and Tartosan royal families! As it turns out, Anya is quite an in-demand bachelorette. But sources close to the Crown Princess say she’s not in a rush:
“Anya is not at all looking for anything that might complicate her already complicated life - and that includes getting into a new relationship. She dates. She’s out there. She enjoys the company of others, but that’s it for now. She’s in no rush. She’s done the whole relationship thing and they’ve all ended quite badly.”
(Above: Single and Loving it - the in-demand Crown Princess is reportedly happy living the single life, despite numerous rumours surrounding her love life.)
Oh, to be a beautiful Crown Princess with such hunky suitors. Must be a tough job. Some sims just seem to have it all.
