Oh he'll yeah I only picked up WF on Switch around New War, and it was awesome. My faves are yareli (fasionframed like Miku), Wisp, Valkyr, Gara and currently Zephyr. I am in this thing for life now.

It's nice to see someone you follow fall into the games you've played for over 1200 hours. Thanks for the WF posts. Who's your favourite frame so far?

oh hell yes! i’ve been in and out of warframe for ages now actually, lmao. started playing in 2013, took a few years off and came back around like 2017 i think?? and then i took a long break right around when veilbreaker dropped to keep from burning out before duviri happened, so i’m getting way back into it and god i’ve missed it so much… things come and go but warframe is forever.

i have a handful of favorite frames, but harrow and limbo have been faves for ages.. i enjoy playing with nekros and caliban an awful lot too lately. duviri has been fun cuz it’s been getting me to use frames i don’t normally bother with. still need to get my grubby little hands on baruuk…….

Zephyr was Viri's assigned frame during the Orokin era so...

Tried to make her current Zephyr match her aesthetic.

man one of these days i’ll make a post to share my WF lore for my Warframes. i have four different landing craft and eight Warframes between them, so i like to think there are actually four operators, with two Warframes each. i don’t yet know a lot about the other three operators, but my main operator (the one you can actually see and control) is named Ellion. still working on the rest... but in any case, they command Volt and Volt Prime.

there’s also Oberon/Hydroid as a pair, Ember/Valkyr as another, and Banshee/Zephyr as the fourth. Nova Prime and Ember Prime are not part of my cannon lore, and they each have a different operator.

but, more on all of this later, when i actually have the time to make a proper post. for now, g’night y’all. i’m so glad i’m done with The War Within; god. tomorrow, i hope to make a start on the Glast Gambit, so i can get Nidus. still need a Warframe slot, but i’ll get to that when i’m ready to spend on plat.

Low-effort recolor and a couple screenshots to celebrate finally working on this zephyr again!

I kept bouncing back and forth between the art and model to tweak the colors until I settled on something I liked. Left color is based on my current ingame fashion, nicknamed Tempest. Right color based on an old fashion I called Tropicana.

Long story short - Virgo, my main Operator OC, piloted Zephyr prime in the Old War. Her warframe was destroyed and believed to be permanently lost.

The frame's remains were found during an excavation of an old battleground in the Post-Awakening era and Viri placed the frame into Perrin Sequence custody and permitted Perrin researchers to attempt rebuild it with Corpus/Perrin technology.

Over the time Zephyr got rebuilt and after the New War the frame was given to Drifter Virgo and that is now her "main" frame.

The funny thing is that... that is basically my Zephyr's lore xD She got yeeted during the Old War and rebuilt with Corpus Technology after the New war.

that poll about warframe mains made me think of my own frame usage... so basically I really like trying out everyone a little bit (but I do have my favorites lol)

Green - basically my favorites that I use a lot for one reason or another.

Red - frames I have built (fully forma'd) but I don't use them as much...

Blue - frames I'm interested in building and trying out more (not playing Harrow? heresy! also I really want to use Gara more I feel like she's overlooked)

and the uncircled ones are frames I haven't built, crafted or just am not interested in.

I think the problem with wf variety is that if you have a 'comfort' frame in one aspect, you don't really need others. This is why I have a lot of red circles - yeah, I can use that frame but I kinda don't wanna?

I use Ivara for spy so any other spy frame is whatever. Wisp is so good she replaces like a third of the roster. Khora is my go-to lootframe.

Zephyr and Garuda are such good "dps" frames that I don't really need anyone else... Even though I also like Voruna, Valkyr and some others.
