my decade old laptop finally died the other day which is mostly whatever but i did lose a) all the progress i had written on my autoclave fic (which yes i know i've been so slow at updating but i did have thousands of words written in a notes app of future chapters dkjhfdjk) b) all the stupid memes i had saved to make more bucktommy incorrect quotes posts. and somehow i'm mourning Both those losses equally

#man i was like y tf am i so tried i didnt do shit today but no i got like 5hrs sleep. walked to the store in thr 12F weather. carried back #all my groceries. walked to the police station to get keys to the autoclave. read 40 slides abt anime. started redoing a tutorial #and spent 45 min on the phone giving my intake info for a new therapist. everytime i give the spiel it gets more exhausting #it feels so dramatic like whatever ill b fine but no im seeking help for a reason bleh #but now im tired and worried abt the semester bc itll b a lot. many plates to juggle with a fragile mind #my old boss was like u have an ambitious plan for the semester and im like oh boy well see how this goes #hopefully itll b fine once i get in the groove. just go one step at a time #currently i just wanna redraw 4lways sunny screenshots but idk what ones to draw #but should sleep. i gotta write a long email tomorrow morning for a class intro bc look at me im a professional who def #does not have underlying emotional problems. ugh. idk if i described my mood stuff right to the lady on the phone but like i got diagnosed #as b1polar for a reason idk i just still feel like its fake. like ill look at the checklists and get mad when i get a positive result #which is weird bc its like. u went to 3 doctors and they said the same thing shut up. ugh whatever. i need to sleepy #unrelated

#mine #456 words #feel free to reblog #now you know (:#the postdoc showing me how to use it was explaining the autoclave tape and I was like oh so it’s Witness Tape #and then I realized how weird that sounds #it’s bc I used to help with kilns in a pottery studio and we have these things called witness cones that melt and start to droop #at specific temperatures #so you use them to see what temperatures are happening inside your kiln bc the reading might not be accurate #and a lot of kilns tend to have hotter or cooler spots inside besides just overall running too hot or cold #so they’re made for different temps and curl in the right temp but will not curl much if at all if too cold #or will just melt entirely if too hot #they Witness the temperature #but yeah autoclave tape is similar it turns black if you’ve reached sterilizing conditions #tho you also have to test the autoclave monthly with a special vial of hardy microorganisns you bury in your autoclave load #but yeah no one calls it witness tape #or witness vials #that’s just a kiln thing I guess #lab tag

Overcrowded, hard to read, and confusing layout. Instructions on online user manual pdf through company website. Minimum 8 button presses to run my media cycle.

#love that when ur stressed and having a bad time it makes ur menstrual pain worse so you feel even more awful #like. yes. id love to get things done but unfortunately i need to go home immediately at 2pm bc i feel physically ill. vibes wretched.#im considering sleep here at 6pm but 2 b fair i think i only slept 4hrs last night. woof. tomorrow is gonna b interesting #i think the allergic reacting is abt over now tho. like im not really itchy anymore. the rash is still visible but i think its just dry now #bc of the cold. so was i ever reacting to the tatto0? or was it all the medication? im so interesting in what happened #would i not have had a reaction if i hadn't got a bunch of holes poked in my skin? or was it just a coincidence #that the rash started on that arm? ugh. so frustrating. and i think the psychiatrist forgot to actually book my appointment from when we #last talked so idk. maybe if i watch t4skmaster over and over it will heal my soul #ay. its all very frustrating. and i still dont have fucking autoclave access. fuck off. just give me the fucking key code #i just wanna pour plates 🫗 lol that actually looks a lot like pouring solid media. i dont wanna have to steal someone else's card to open #the door. who even locks up an autoclave??? they didnt at my old school and u could wheel a body into that thing. im pretty sure it was #bigger than this one. also there's another unlocked on on campus. why?! i ask ppl and fucking no one knows. that's just how it is #ugh. i should go to sleep. my tummy hurt #unrelated
