3 boys go to IKEA to buy IKEA plushie(s) what would they buy?
I think cub would get the shark (BLÅHAJ) or the bear (DJUNGELSKOG) or the astronaut bear, alien and the spaceship (AFTONSPARV)[to put the astronaut bear and the alien in] [get it? Cuz it's astronomy 🤣🤣]
Scar would most likely get the astronomy cat (AFTONSPARV) or just the cat (LILLEPLUTT) [cat plushie because of jellie :3 o7 queen jellie]
I think grian would probably get finger puppets (TITTA DJUR) or some random Dinosaurs (JÄTTELIK) [finger puppet shows or something... Or just scary dinosaurs to protect during bad nightmares..??
[you can see how invested I am with IKEA plushies.... I have some stupid fixation on that Swedish furniture store- Did you know the biggest IKEA store is located in Pasay City located in the Philippines 65,000 square metres (700,000 square feet) ]
I am fascinated. Unfortunately I do not share this fixation but your input is greatly appreciated. I think scar would buy cub the astronaut bear for Cub (bc bear and space) and bring it to him as a gift and cub would just start sobbing, scaring the shit out of everyone in the room. >felt very loved and got overwhelmed. girl moment.
no notes on scar. astronaut cat is very very cute.
dinosaurs and grian gives me great joy. I think he would also enjoy the shark 1) because I like the shark and 2) BLÅHAJ is a noise he makes very often if the word was my poor English pronunciation visualization and also being screamed. I’m not a finger puppet cunt but grian might be. I will open my mind. I do think grian would enjoy something to Hold though. Cub would keep his bear safely off the bed because his in particular is a Warzone. Scar’s kitty cat would live in their apartment because that’s where he feels home.

I just saw Hamilton
WOW.
I've seen the movie and listened to the original cast recording to the point that I can sing along with most of the whole play, but seeing it live.
Wow.
This cast comes from different Hamilton shows across the world. Rachel Ann Go, who was the original West End Eliza Schuyler-Hamilton, reprised her role for this leg of the tour. I love how familiar the songs were but since each actor had their own take on the songs, it was still different. I love each one of them.
It was also cool to see the details and nuances that weren't visible or obvious in the recordings/movie. And in the recordings they didn't include some things that you'll only see in the play. That was gut-wrenching, especially when they mirrored each other. And the sound was so different too. Like, Cabinet Battle?!
And that line about the vice-president's job? Geezas.
I'm gonna shut up now. I know the play's been around for so long there really isn't any spoilers, but I know there's still ton of us who are waiting to watch it.
The Philippine stop marks the debut of Hamilton: The Musical in Asia. This cast comes from different Hamilton shows across the world.
The show will run until November 2023 at Solaire Theater in Pasay City, Philippines.

Edited to add this photo of my view from my seat in the balcony (KK9) and it's not bad. The the theater is small so no matter where you are you'll see the stage clearly. Of course center is always the best, as you can see there's some area on the right that's hidden to me. But otherwise it's quite good.

I know this may be too far back, but could you mention the source where the hymn “ai geneia pasai” is said to be based on a lament by Demeter?
It's been more than two years since I made that post and I unfortunately couldn't find the exact source I had used then. My impression is that I had used a wikipedia page because this is my go-to but the ones I checked now (i.e Byzantine music) have changed in structure and some content since the last time I visited.
So, I found some webpages which mention the same thing but they are in Greek:
In this third site (link), it mentions the same thing and cites wikipedia as the source, so either it indeed was in Wikipedia up to a point or I am not finding the correct page.
Anyway, what must be taken into account is that this is not an established truth but a hypothesis based on the structure and the morphology of the hymn, which is why I was repeating the "it is believed" in the original post. Based on the Greek sites I cited above, I summarized what could work as evidence that supports this hypothesis in English:
parts of the hymn - the less obviously Christian parts - are written in High Attic Greek, with words like "έαρ", "παντάναξ", which were far more common in Ancient Greek than Koine or Medieval Greek
the content of the hymn contains elements not typical to Byzantine themes, such as a focus on "κάλλος", the beauty (of Jesus), which instead was a very popular theme in Ancient Greece
there is an orphic hymn chanted in Eleusinian mysteries as Demeter's lament for Persephone that bears similarities in its context, although there are no identical similarities
this is something you will actually find mentioned in the current wikipedia page about Byzantine music; the first centuries a lot of the Christian compositions were not original but rather copied or inspired by earlier ancient melodies. O Glyky Mou Ear (Ae Geneae Pasae) is according to a church site (also in Greek) composed before the time of St. Romanos the Melodist, so before the 6th century, making it a likely contender to be one of the chants inspired by pagan ones.
this hymn has some characteristic archaic tonal elements in its music but I don't know enough about music theory to perceive this and explain it myself
also, some of the Byzantine hymns were not composed by a certain poet or composer but they were created by the folk and passed from one generation to the next and then they were "polished" by Byzantine μαΐστροι (meisters, maestros). Because this hymn has an unknown date and unknown composer, it is generally hypothesized to belong to this category of hymns, as well. This one, I remember reading it in wikipedia for sure, I don't know why I can't find it now -_-
These were the most relevant parts mentioned in these sites but it has some other interesting info about other Greek cultural continuities as well, I guess, if you google translate...

I am Alcher John Kho. born in Pasay City on January 24, 2005. grew up in the city of Imus province of Cavite, I am 19 years of age. I'm currently grade 12 student that took academic track strand of HUMSS at General Pantaleon Garcia Senior High (GPGSHS). My parents are Alcher Kho and Emily Baydo, my father works at Air21 as an driver courier and my mother works at Kinghome supermarket as an Lady Guard to provide a financial support for us with my 5 siblings. We are all 7 siblings, I am the second, only 6 of us are studying because the eldest got married early.
There's a lot of things that I like and a few things that I don't like. I like having fun with and friends sometimes and going to somewhere with them but mostly I like to stroll alone nearby. Sometimes I also prefer to stay at home and watched some movies with my family while eating a bunch of salty foods. I also love watching anime such as Demon slayer, Jujutsu kaisen, and so on, YouTube. The thing that I don’t like the most is when someone bothers me and I’m doing an important paper works for school that’s the thing that really gets me mad. I can say that our family is in good condition and I’m lucky to have a complete family. We have experienced many difficulties in life but we never let them to break our family.
I first attend school at the age of 6 and my mother enrolled me as a nursery at the Day Care Center near at our barangay year 2010. When I was a kid, I was forcing my parents to enroll me in a school because when I saw my elder sister everyday before and after going to school I imagine that school is just like a playground that makes everybody happy where you can also gain more knowledge and friends. But as the time goes by I have experienced and encountered a lot of things in school, until now. I started making memories with my classmates, teachers and friends or should I say my second family and they never failed me to have the best memories and unforgettable moments with them every year, the best section I have before is when I was Grade 11 HUMSS HERA. I just found myself in school that is why I love going to schooleveryday even sometimes it makes me so tired. I do have a lot of dreams in life and Istart working of it because I really want to make my dreams comes true.
I remember when I experience the first greatest love though I have only one ex before. When I first saw her walking in the hallway, damn she looks so beautiful. I started to tell myself "even if we're not together, I want to love her unconditionally". I don't believe in love at first sight but why did I feel this way?. I thought she was in the other room but I was surprised that she was behind my chair, I felt mixed emotion that time. fast-forward, as days goes by, my feelings towards her has become deeper to the point I sacrifices all things for her but, one day, everything has change. I broke, I literally broke. I've been depressed for what happened and was cannot believe for it. I never thought I would experience it again but here it is.
When I thought about what happened, I realized a lot. I can't even put everything here but I know because of the realization I thought, it will help me be more careful about love. For now, I love being free, free doing such things like, playing, eat whatever I want, do what ever I want, go somewhere else and lastly focusing to my acads. I realized that my academic performance lately is at the bottom, after noticing my performance, me myself got dismayed and the I know in what way I increase my performance. So I started focusing putting more dedications and perseverance to it. I don't want others who believes in me to be dismayed and disappointed so I keep moving forward, focusing on my goals. I remember when my pastor said "don't be distracted by the voice of your surroundings, whenever you are focusing to your goals they can't distract you, they'll never be".
Before I end my autobiography, I would like to share my motto in life, "Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable." it reflects me of what steve job's said, “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it".

#4"𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖆𝖒𝖚𝖘𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖙 𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖐"
after we visited the national museum, the Department of Finance, and the yuchengco museum, we now proceed to our next destination which is star city, in Pasay City. One of our teachers announces to us that our next destination is an amusement park, all of us became so excited and can't wait to enjoy the blissful rides inside the amusement park. as we line up and enter the entrance of star city, the teachers distributed our entrance tickets, after the teachers gave u permission to roam around and enjoy the rides all of us excitedly runs inside. As we got inside we saw a variety of different stores that sells stuff toys, accessories, food stalls, and merchandise store such as anime goods, K-pop merchandise goods, and many more.
Star City takes pride in being the only amusement park with both indoor and outdoor entertainment that is weatherproof. Star City provides a broad range of rides for the entire family, as we discover when we look about inside. The Frosty Train, Road Race, Kiddie Wheel, Kiddie Bump Car, Mini Pirate Ship, and Mini Swing are all available for children. We also visited the winter wonderland inside the star city, which offered various attractions made of actual ice and snow and allowed us to enjoy a white Christmas. We were welcomed by the enthralling extreme rides as we made our way to the outdoor activities, and when we spotted the star frisbee, an extreme ride, we immediately ran to the long line to ride the star Frisbee.
After an intense experience, we were so excited that we didn't even have a moment to relax before continuing to ride another extreme attraction, the jungle splash, where you ride a log boat that ends with an exhilarating plunge into the sea. Even though the splash of the water caused us to get wet, it was still enjoyable. After the water ride, we made the decision to get dressed and go on to the indoor attractions. We went to the Digital Surround Theater since I'm a big admirer of astrology. There, we had the best whole sensory experience possible with cutting-edge 360-degree visual and audio equipment. We were shown how the universe was made, starting with planets, stars, many universes, and other things. After enjoying the show, we made the decision to purchase a few souvenirs, including adorable headbands and accessories. moreover, being fans of kpop and anime, we purchased some kpop and anime memorabilia.

November Weekend
2022's 2nd Most Memorable Moment
Nothing beats a day well-spent with the people you love—except maybe a memory that’s made so much impact in your life, nothing else that happened after that could be more memorable. Hence, this three-day event is only the runner-up of the year.
The following song was originally meant as an allusion to drugs. In a certain point of view, love is like a drug. It makes you feel good. It can liberate you. It’s more fun if you’re enjoying it with someone special. Ultimately, too much of it can kill you.
Nevertheless, the right amount of love is just perfect.
Last November, I posted three photo collages following the same visual theme. I did so because I knew right then that those days were one of the best memories I’ve had last year—if not the best—and it’s just interesting that they all happened consecutively.
I contemplated hard within myself if I should give this the top spot or not—obviously, the other memory won.
November 11
We were supposed to celebrate this day back on October 7, few days after our anniversary. Gerald was unfortunately sick that time, much to our dismay, and we couldn’t schedule at an earlier date because he wanted to focus on reviewing for his licensure exam.
It was a good decision, though. Having it in November made it a double celebration—our anniversary and him passing his exam.
We had a staycation at a cheap hotel somewhere in Pasay. It had a swimming pool on the roof deck.
We ate a lot—Manam, Greenwich, hotel food—and we played Nintendo.
November 12
After checking out from the hotel, we went to SM Mall of Asia where my sister joined us. We watched Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
November 13
Wilma and I went to the Pintô Art Museum in Antipolo, Rizal. We ate breakfast there—pizza and pasta.
She was astounded at how quickly I roamed around the galleries—she expected me to observe longer than she and Jemar did when they visited the museum, knowing the artistic person that I am.
Don’t get me wrong. I love viewing art. Not to say anything bad about the artists who made the pieces, but I think the museum was just too cluttered—it didn’t give the pieces the ample space they deserve. I was just looking everywhere and I’m like, “Why are these displayed like this???”
It’s difficult to appreciate a work of art if everything surrounding it is trying to grab your attention. Having said that, I still gave some time to appreciate and try to interpret some of them if they were given enough space and justice—or if I find the piece very intriguing.
So for me, the museum itself—its galleries, the collection of pieces from the different artists, and everything that makes up the whole place—is the artwork. The obra maestra of the museum's owner.
Going back to our story... We went to a nearby café right after. She had coffee and I had a calamansi juice—if I remember correctly.
Then we headed back to Cavite to grab my keyboard from her house, then to Marjette’s house to eat dinner—it was the feast day of Cavite City.
November 14 (just some extra)
Wilma was in Cavite City once more and wanted to pass the time to wait for the traffic to ease—there was heavy traffic outbound from the city. She invited us for dinner, only I responded, so we ate at Papa Chon’s Ribs and Wings.

2022 HIGHLIGHTS
I wasn’t able to post this last year as I got busy going through stuff at home and at work, so...here’s Doctor Strange for a quick recap hehehe
Tumblr media
WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD
Tumblr media
Halfway through January, my phone got smashed. Not to mention how I celebrated New Year's Eve with COVID-related symptoms (eventually, testing positive). Not how I wanted my year to start off lol 🙃
Tumblr media
My impulsiveness made me join Graphika Online. If I remember it correctly, I registered just the day before the event as it just popped in my feed. Nonetheless, glad to be part of this event (with great set of speakers, of course!)
Tumblr media
Finally, I was able to visit the Mind Museum although it's just an hour away from where I'm staying hahahaha. We bought tickets for half of its price. I've always wanted to visit this since I was a student as I've seen it on TV programs being featured multiple times. Too bad, it's not that good as what I'm expecting, or at least from what it was.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This was one of my proudest moments as we were able to pull this off given our small team. Thanks to Atty. Valdez and YVFL Pasig for this opportunity, and most importantly, to the people behind this initiative who worked tirelessly from morning 'til night. Also thank you to Therese for riding in on my plan hahahaha. Look how our plan on just bringing placards turned into volunteering on the event hehehe.
Tumblr media
#TUMINDIG 🌸
From Pasig, Quezon City, Makati, Taguig, Pasay, to Bulacan and Laguna, lagi't laging titindig. Who would've thought that I'd be active in joining rallies and pink related activities.
And to those peeps whom I share the same aspirations, salamat sa pagtindig!
Tumblr media
Joined Earth Hour Virtual Run. With weeks of preparation, I was able to run non-stop at 10.10km in an hour and 13 minutes—my PR so far.
Tumblr media
And since I'm not contented with just running, I looked for another sport to learn. Glad I was able to meet these people. Thanks to Coach Emman, of course, for the training hehehe.
Tumblr media
Casted my first ever vote. 🌸
Tumblr media
Reading the news about VNL going to Quezon City, we made sure not to miss this event, and so we watched them live at Smart Araneta Coliseum. Unfortunately, we weren't able to secure a closer seat to the court, but the view from above wasn't that bad too.
Tumblr media
Another proud moment this year was when I got to produce a short film once again. It was just a two-man production (hence, the prod name) and I was really amazed with how we pulled it off. Of course, thanks to Tita Blenda, our very enthusiastic and easy-to-direct actress. Very satisfied with our output given the 2-week production period.
Tumblr media
Some of my colleagues whom I first met during company anniversary! Working from home for months/years, and I only got to see them twice this year. #SusukaHindiSusuko Here's to more face-to-face events! 🥂
Tumblr media
Despite our busy schedules, we were able to take a camping vacation in Zambales. It felt good disconnecting.
Tumblr media
And my mom, whom I didn't see for almost three years, went home, so I took the chance to treat her with my sister during Christmas season. 💸💸
Tumblr media
Happy 2023!

Do you know what the most common bird is in your area? We have many species of sparrows that you’ll find regardless of where you are in the country, but we only ever use the collective term ‘maya’ for all of them.
What last made you feel ecstatic? Yoongi’s tour. My friends and I have been planning our game plans to fly out to Bangkok, Jakarta, or Singapore in the last 24 hours – it’d really depend on where we’d manage to secure tickets, and if we get to secure tickets. We’re also considering Seoul as an extreme last resort, but I want to avoid it as much as possible because visa work is too much work that tbh I’m not willing to go through at this point. In any case...why on earth did they not book a show in Manila :/
What would make you feel happiest right now? Magically getting slots for Yoongi’s concert.
How many teeth have you had extracted? A couple. I have a third one also due but I’ll save that for when it starts hurting.
Do you ever read magazines? I never buy physical copies anymore but if I come across an online article that I’m interested in, then I do read it from start to end.
What is something you've been reflecting on? What I can do to be a better leader for my associates.
What's something you like and dislike about the town you live in? I like that it has all the establishments and stores you’ll also find in Metro Manila without ever having to be in Metro Manila, so it’s super convenient. Dislike... there’s no culture, no nightlife. There’s nothing here that you’ll ever be like, “I drove all the way here for this” for.
What's a Halloween movie that you enjoy? Scream is a good example. I’m not always in the mood for jumpscares (like Paranormal Activity) or visual-centric horror (like The Ring), so Scream hits that perfect middle ground where I don’t feel like hiding under a blanket every 3 seconds. And gore is always a good idea, so.
Would you say you're more confident now than you were 5 years ago? Oh for SURE. I had zero confidence when I was 20! I struggled at making friends, was grossly reliant on my girlfriend at the time, and never raised my hand to speak in class. But my job has since been able to challenge me to push my own limits and lead virtual calls and step up during pitches and things like that, so it’s been a complete 180º switch from 2018.
Have you ever or would you try carrot bacon? I have no idea what that is but I’d also try anything once without having to Google them.
What's the last thing you purchased that was frozen? Ice.
Would you ever walk a runway if given the opportunity? I’ll pass. Doesn’t sound interesting.
When did you last do something that scared you? Last month, after Seonho’s fanmeet. My phone died the moment I started the car to drive back home and I was coming from Pasay (aka completely un-fucking-familiar with the place), so I had to drive entirely from memory. The drive itself wasn’t too scary because I figured I could always ask around for directions – I was honestly more scared of the possibility of my mom trying to call me and the call not connecting because of my dead phone and then her freaking out and thinking of the worse haha. Miraculously enough, she never checked up on me once that night.
What is something that you're curious about? My dad’s work. He works at a cruise liner and is based overseas, so save for the one time he took me to his kitchen when I went on a cruise, I actually have zero clue what he does on a normal day. I think being a chef is super admirable so it’d be cool to shadow him for a day.
What time do you usually eat breakfast? The more appropriate question at least for me would be if I even eat breakfast lol, to which the answer is no. I do make a cup of coffee before I start work, and I get around to that by 9.
What is something you done as a child that you would never do now? Be too shy to ask to go to the restroom and preferring to pee through my clothes altogether instead of having to speak up.
What's been your favorite memory of 2022? Talking to Kimi and saying my I love yous, thank yous, and goodbyes the night before he passed. By that point he hadn’t eaten in the last 3 days and I just knew he wasn’t going to be around in the next 24 hours, so I grabbed the chance to have a 1-on-1 with him once everyone in the house was asleep.
When were you last inside a tall building? Last Thursday, at a hotel for an event.
Is it currently quiet in the room you're in? Nah, my aircon is loud as all hell and I also have the TV on.
Is there someone you can honestly say you hate or have hated? I’ve held feelings of hatred for a number of people, but it usually eventually fizzles out to a perpetual milder state of dislike.
What's currently on your mind? That I really wanna start eating these pretzels beside me right now.
Would you consider yourself to be a messy person? I’m responsibly messy, if we wanna make that a thing hah. I can be very cluttered with my stuff but I always know where every single thing is.
Would those closest to you say you talk too much or not much at all? They’d probably tell you I’m right in the middle. I get self-conscious once I feel like I’ve been blabbering and will usually stop from there.
Do you have a song you cannot listen to anymore due to a bad memory? O by Coldplay. That was during what I’d like to call my suicide watch era, so... obviously personally hard to hear it these days.
Have you ever had a candlelit dinner? I don’t think I have.
What was the last shot you've taken? Second Covid booster.
Do you need to apologize for something or are you waiting on an apology? I always feel like apologizing to my teammates for being super tense at work. Idk why I care so much about my job lol. What's something you strongly believe in? Continued from the other night. That everyone is just like anyone else. Makes it easier for me not to get scared of higher-ups at work or high-profile clients or clients who think they’re hot shit.
Do you have a dream that is close to being accomplished? KIND OF??? I MIGHT SEE YOONGI??? WE’LL SEE.
Would you say you're in a good place mentally? Sure! For the last two years I’ve never been better. I mean I do go through Sunday anxieties, but I try not to let it interfere with my overall mental state. When did you first start feeling more grown up? After my breakup is when I first started to feel like I had to fight for my place in the world. That would be three years ago this year.
What kind of chapstick do you use? I don’t use chapstick.
How many pillows do you prefer to sleep with? Two, but lately I’ve been sleeping with just one – a pillow I hug – because I realized laying my head on a pillow hurts my neck more than anything.
What is something you've kept bottled up for a long time that you now have released? I don’t think I’ve had that kind of release recently.
Have you ever broken a cell phone charger? I’ve broken phone chargers, phone cases, phone screens...I’m historically very shitty with cellphones; it’s a miracle my current phone has lasted this long with me.

Why Choose a Google Ads Experts Agency in Pune?
While Google Ads is a great tool for reaching out to potential customers, it requires a thorough understanding of digital marketing tactics and ongoing improvement to attain the best results. This is where working with a Google Ads Experts Agency in Pune, such as Pasay Invento, can make a big difference. Here’s why
Expertise and Experience:
Google Ads professionals have considerable expertise and experience managing and optimizing advertising campaigns. They comprehend the platform’s complexity and keep up with the newest trends and updates.
Customized Strategies:
Every business is unique, therefore a one-size-fits-all strategy to digital marketing is ineffective. A Google Ads firm will design strategies to your specific business objectives and target audience.
Time and Resource Management:
Running a successful Google Ads campaign takes time and resources. By delegating this duty to experts, you can concentrate on more important elements of your business.
Better ROI:
Expert optimization increases the likelihood that your ad campaigns will provide a higher return on investment (ROI). Experts understand how to cut costs while maximizing outcomes.
Step-by-Step Guide for Getting Started with Google Ads
Step 1: Establish clear objectives.
Before going into Google Ads, it’s critical to establish your goals. What do you hope to achieve with your marketing campaigns? Common objectives include increasing website traffic, generating leads, improving revenue, and raising brand awareness. Clear objectives will direct your overall campaign plan.
Step 2: Conduct keyword research.
Keywords are the cornerstone of Google Ads. They are the keywords that potential buyers use to find items or services. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner to find suitable keywords for your business. To reach a larger audience, choose a combination of high-volume and long-tail keywords.
Step 3: Create Effective Ad Copy
Your ad wording should be both entertaining and relevant to the keywords you’re targeting. It should also have a compelling call-to-action (CTA) to entice users to click on your ad. Try out different headlines, descriptions, and CTAs to see what performs best.
Step 4: Set up Your Campaign
Once you’ve decided on your keywords and ad copy, you can begin setting up your campaign. Google Ads lets you select from a variety of campaign kinds, including Search Network, Display Network, Video, Shopping, and more. Choose the campaign type that best fits your objectives.
Step 5: Define your target audience.
Google Ads provides a variety of targeting choices, including geography, demographics, interests, and more. Define your target audience based on who you hope to reach. Geographic targeting is especially crucial for Pune’s local firms.
Step 6: Set a Budget
Decide how much you want to spend on your Google Ads campaign. Google Ads uses a pay-per-click (PPC) approach, which means you only pay if someone clicks on your ad. To keep your expenditures under control, set a daily or monthly budget.
Step 7: Monitor and optimize.
Monitoring the performance of your campaign after it has gone live is critical. Google Ads offers a variety of analytics, including click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, cost-per-click (CPC), and more. Analyze these numbers to determine areas for improvement. Regularly adjust your keywords, ad copy, and targeting to improve performance.

Immersion is the key to appreciation, acceptance, and an avalanche of ems.
Nung bata ako, nakitira kami for a time sa bahay ng Tito Taurus ko sa isa sa mga middle class subdivisions sa South. Actually, mas gusto ko 'yung compound namin sa Pasay kasi mas autonomous ako doon. Kung baga, mas hood ko talaga. Saka mas bagay 'yung bansag na "butiking Pasay" sa akin. Reason why umalis kami doon is because sinunog nung anak ng taga-malaking bahay na may marmol 'yung bahay nila because you know, teenage angst. Muntik ng nadamay ang wooden house na rented ng magulang ko. Sa sobrang laki raw ng sunog, tumawid na sa katapat bahay 'yung apoy. Tumigil 'yung apoy before sa compound namin. Not bad, 'di ba?
Also, meager funds noon kasi my brother is battling meningitis. Single income family kami kaya naman, Sanitarium ang nagtawid sa kapatid ko, pero kinahirap at hinarap ng mga magulang ko 'yan. Syempre, health is wealth. 'Di biro ang gamutan at check ups. Syempre, 'yung lifestyle change ko, ang lala. From autonomous to authoritarian mode under mom. UGH. Hahahaha.
So, syempre, new dynamics. Gated subdivision. Wala na 'yung toddler best friend ko since kami lang magka-age sa street. Two boys kalaro ko noon madalas and syempre, bike and Lego ang laban. Nung lumipat kami, damn. Puro Barbie House saka Polly Mansion na. May bike pa rin syempre saka Lego. Iba 'pag kalaro mo mga babae. Strong and independent din sila. Masusungit. HAHAHAHA. Pero, wala. Nanalo ang pagpapawis sa labas after school at pagpasok sa bahay ng 530 PM. JUSQ.
My Tito Taurus' kinda big house is also where my Ate D and I bonded and co-existed. Parehas kaming panganay pero magkaiba kami. Opposites even. Mom ko kasi very particular na bawal mainggit sa kung anong meron 'yung iba. Wala akong contentions dito, honestly. Kasi I never felt na salat kami. Hindi magarbo buhay namin, pero alam ko, mahal ako masyado ng mama except nung naging ate na ako sa bunso kong kapatid. LELS.
So, since my Tito and Tita came from the middle east, syempre, opak. Parang nasa Duty Free ka lagi. HAHAHAHA. Imagine. Isang bahay na may mga sapatos, fragrances at iba pang nasa SM Makati, Landmark, Glorietta or Town. Ganun. Tapos, IKEA hindi sikat pa nun. Nakikita kong bini-build sila ni Tito 'pag 'di siya busy. I grew up looking at IKEA catalogues na galing sa KSA. Dun ko rin unang napatunayan na IKEA = AESTHETIC and OPTICS and ang tibay niya ay based sa pagka-build mo. So kung bobo kang builder, lagot ka. LOL. Since Tito is usually busy, parang Lego lang niya IKEA na nilipad nila sa Pinas. Engineer pero bobo mag-build paminsan? Tito Taurus. Present.
Mom always reminds me na engineer and nurse mga magulang ng Ate D ko. Sila basic lang. Hindi siya coming from a place of poor-shaming us mula noon hanggang ngayon. Siguro, 'yan 'yung simula ko sa bias kong, wala akong pake sa estado sa buhay. We eat the same food. Hati sa grocery, sa kuryente, and the works.
'Yung mga gamit namin, sobrang onti lang. Pero mom always finds ways to get us something new during Christmas. I don't find this appealing kasi isang beses lang naman isang taon ang Pasko. So, feeling ko talaga, pinilit lang niya, pero ginalingan naman niya, nila ni dad. LOL. I need my dad. EMS.
LOL. First time kasi namin mag-typewriting project tapos ilang pages agad tapos may format na specific.
Si Ate D, giba. Electric typewriter with buttery haptics ng keyboard. Tapos built-in pa 'yung correcting tape (?). WOW. Tapos may certain sound effects pa yata if I remember I right. Ambilis niyang mag-type. Syempre ako, apaka bagal na, puro Touch 'n Go pa. Sabi nung nanay ko, allowed lang ako X number of time gamitin ang Touch 'n Go. 'Pag naubos ko raw, next month na bili. TACCA.
Tinanong ko mom ko kung puwede bang maghanap si dad ng typewriter na tulad ng kay Ate D. Nagalit siya out of nowhere. Bratatatatat. Nag-tanong ako ng honest question. Sinabi ko na nahihirapan nga kasi ako. Tapos, ayun. Cancelled ang pagkalito ko sa B and D. HAHAHAHAHAHA. TACCA. Mom went super serious. Inggit daw ba ako? Sabi ko, hindi. And ang reason ko lang naman talaga is hirap akong magtype. Period. Mom shared na tandaan ko raw na what I have is what I need. In this case, a hand-me-down robe... choz. Hand-me-down typewriter. And that, I need to ensure that I know how to power through. Tools are just tools. Focus on the task and how to get shit done. Agit lang ako kasi 'di ako makalaro ng bike saka Lego, weekend na weekend. TACCA.
Dito niya pinakawalaan ang linyahan niyang: Nasa pana 'yan. Wala 'yan sa Indian. Me: Anong ibig sabihin nun? So, she explained it. Again, nasa B and D kagulo ako e. HAHAHAHA. I don't make sense naman din. So, ako na naman may kasalanan.
Tito ko aaligid-aligid sa gedli. Tinanong ako kung gusto ko ba ng electric typewriter. Mom overheard ang syempre, ibong-mandaragit levels siya. NO. FUCK OFF. Hindi niya sinabi 'yan, pero ganyan 'yung vibe. HAHAHAHAHA.
Hindi ito forced recall ng memory kasi 'yung pinsan ko nag-open up nito nung recent huddle namin. HAHAHAHA. Tawang-tawa ako e. Nasa un-core memory na siya for me. E naunlock, so boogsh.
Side Kwento: Si Ate D, RK (rich kid) bansag sa kanya sa school. OPAK. Since second cousins kami, lagi kong sinasabi na siya lang RK 'pag nalalaman na mag-pinsan kami. Ako, nakikitira lang sa house nila. Para clear. HAHAHAHA. Ate D is so grounded to the point na sobrang wala lang sa kanya lahat ng mga fresh drops and drips niya sa life. Tapos, basic lang din siya, honestly. By basic, 'yung reserved na parang wala siyang pake sa lahat. Maselan lang ng sobra kasi nga 'yung perspective niya she has what she needs. Ganern. Niyaya ko nga siya sa Boracay, para you know... kaso sabi ko, magkita na lang kami sa Station 1 because her hood in this tiny island is no less than Shang. HAHAHAHAHAHA. 'Di siya raw naalis masyado doon 'pag stay niya. Me: Papakita ko sa'yo ang tunay na laban sa landas ng Boracay. Tara na! Sana mag-kitesurf na 'to para may bagong adventure naman siya. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
So, inabutan na ako ng gabi kakatype. Halos ubos na rin ang Touch 'n Go. Then, nai-ire ang first ever projects namin ni Ate D. I think halos sabay lang kami nakatapos.
Nung nakuha ang graded projects. CHENEN. Basta line of 9 pero hindi 95. Graphic na naman ito. Mom ko: Bakit hindi 95? Me: Line of 9 na nga e. Saka nakita hirap ako 'di ba? Hirap na hirap. Mom ko: Next time, do better. 'Di puwedeng line of 9 lang.
TACCA. Mother Dragon is on the prowl for 3 may foul pang walang pektus. Bwiset. Sabi ng mom ko na 'di dahil hand-me-down ang typewriter at mabagal akong mag-type sa ngalan ng B and D, e aayaw na ako. Sabi ko, ang OA niya. Hahahahaha.
And this early morning, as I type away on my buttery 2015 Macbook Pro, I find myself crazy... smiling a bit. Malayo na, Vini. HAHAHAHAHA. It's soooo buttery, mhie. Mula noon hanggang ngayon. Lito pa rin ako sa spelling and grammar. Pero, sabi nga ng nanay kong dragon: SRA nga basic sa'yo violet. Tumigil ka diyan. HAHAHAHAHAHA. TACCCAAA. Ang hirap. Gapang sa lusak 5evs. Forever WIP files lahat. Pero, iba ang bilis ng Macbook Air saka ang gaan for an overpacker like me na may aging millennial back and neck pains. ALABETTTT na BETTTTT with sweet Google Suite, finalllyyy, baby!!! Pero, ayun. Also, ang mahal pala ng iPad Air. JUSQ. Hard pass for a second screen. Inyo na 'yan. Ilalaan ko na lang for the greater good like Lego builds on the way to Diagon Alley.

Writing this on a Monday night as I was with Marianne last night. Same goes for last, last Sunday, which is the reason why I was not able to post here.
Work for these past several days is fine. Nothing going much at work for me, so that's nice.
Marianne and I were supposed to meet with Daj, Ian, and Karl two Sundays ago, but Daj got hit with pneumonia so he was not able to go and have lunch with us. He's feeling better now.
Last Monday was a holiday here at Manila where I worked, so I used the opportunity to get my plastic card of my driver's license at Pasay, where I renewed it last January.
Last Tuesday, Marianne celebrated her 25th birthday. We went out to eat at Borro restaurant at QC. The food was good and their servings were huge. Much recommended (not sponsored). I also gave my gift to her, which I think she liked.
Today, it was announced I would have my panel interview for the two positions I'm applying for at work. Wish me luck. Hoping and praying I get the position with the higher salary.
My sleep schedule these past few days have been shit, and Exhibit A right now as I was supposed to sleep a while ago.
Also lowkey have been stressing for the big and annoying changes I'm anticipating a few weeks from now. A close workmate of mine will be likely resigning in a week or two and the workload would probably be transferred to us.
My roommates will also be probably transferring to a new condo unit roughly a month from now, which is farther from work. Still walking distance, but I would have to wake up earlier. .
Welp, that's life.

I practiced driving with my brother Marvin. He had another motive for helping me—he bargained not just for a little money but also for our dad's gun. He needed it for reasons he didn't share.
While driving, my boyfriend kept texting me. I opened one of his messages, but Marvin took the phone away, lecturing me about the dangers of using phones while driving. I had another exam at the end of the month for my non-pro license, so I needed to focus on learning every bump and curve.
We drove quite a distance, and I noticed how smooth the sedan was. It had a feature where it slowed down if you stopped. We eventually stopped to eat at a traveler's eatery, a turo-turo. Marvin knew some people there, and they were curious about me. He introduced me as his sister, though I was actually his sister-in-law. I didn't like how his friends looked at me, and I asked for my phone back. Marvin gave it to me, and after some brief, disinterested answers, his friends stopped trying to chat with me.
On the way back, I practiced successfully parking my new car. Marvin also put a bumper sticker on the back to signal other drivers not to hassle me.
Monday, I helped my friends with their experiments. Luckily, we found Dom's old seminary classmates, and they helped ensure the experiment's success. We ate out and then went home.
Tuesday, Mansoor and I woke up at 5 a.m. and took the bus at 7. We had a full ride to Quezon City, arriving at noon. Our first stop was Diliman, where we explored books at OBookau Ukay. We wandered around before checking into a hotel. It was cheap and had a pool. We shared a bed and explored Cubao X and the old cities, enjoying the nightlife.
We got a bit drunk and went swimming in the hotel pool. Back in our room, things got heated, but we didn't have protection, so we improvised. We tried watching some adult content, but it wasn't enjoyable for me. I told him, "We'll figure it out."
"It's fine. At least we're learning together," he replied.
Wednesday morning, we had another swim, had breakfast at a local place, and then checked out. We went to Makati, visiting Silverlens Gallery, The Met Manila, and Ayala. We explored BGC, which was tiring, and then headed to Pasay at night. We stayed in a motel for a few hours to shower and rest before going out for dinner.
Thursday, we returned to Baguio early in the morning. Over coffee, we discussed our intimacy and decided we weren't ready to go all the way yet. We were happy to take things slow.
When I got home, the fighting was still ongoing. Dad was forcefully telling Roxanne to leave. He was very stubborn, dealing with things his way. This led to a fight between Dad and me. I told him we didn't need him, which made him act childishly, complaining to my mother. I tried to protect Roxanne, who was crying and said she would go to a friend's place for a while. I told her we would find a dorm for her, and I’d pay for the first two months.
I tried to apologize to Dad, but he wouldn't be convinced about Roxanne. On Friday, we went apartment hunting. Most places were far from her school or just bed spacers. One of her friends referred us to a place near her university. It was good, not too crowded, though a bit pricey.
On Saturday, we saw the place. It was decent—2k a month, including utilities. It was a bedspace, shared by four girls: two in college and two working. Quietly, Roxanne and I went home to pack her things. She would be moving Sunday, and Mansoor and I volunteered to help.

A Hopeful Soul
My name is Shiley Ann Buenafe. I am 19 years old and I was born on the 8th day of August, 2004 somewhere in Pasay City, Manila. My mother's name is Gina Buenafem. My mother passed away when I was 3 years old while my father has other family.
Have you ever wonder what life I had before? It was my best and happy life when I am at our hometown in Malibay, Pasay City with my aunts and cousins. There I am loved and cared the most because for them I needed the most attention that I don't received from my parents. There I get to do what I want with their guidance, I could express myself and my thoughts, I can cry and laugh. Until there was an accident that changed everything. There's a fire in our barangay, you could hear the sound of explosion everywhere, me as a child who couldn't do anything but cry while watching the fire slowly consuming our house.
Two days after that incident, I found myself crying inside of the bus going to Cavite where a new challenge of life awaits. My life in Cavite was not that easy, happy? yes, I get to know my friends, I get to eat three times a day but it doesn't end there. Ever since I came to our relatives here in Cavite, I don't have the courage to express my thoughts especially myself. Every night I cried because of the state of life I have here and also because of homesick. But still, I am thankful for them. For giving the life which I never thought I would experience.

A literal MOAdventure
My friends and I decided to have a get-together in SM Mall of Asia, sometimes known as just Mall of Asia or MoA (pronounced [ˈmɔwa] in Tagalog), is a sizable retail center in Bay City, Pasay, Philippines. It is situated at the southern end of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and within the SM Central Business Park, a reclaimed area within Manila Bay.
On our way there, It was truly a disaster because the only person whom we can rely on was sleeping throughout the ride. We got lost. We had to make a stop in a store nearby just to calm ourselves down. After making sure that we’re okay, we booked for another ride. All that chaos made us so hungry. Hence, we looked for a local restaurant which is Jollibee and boy was it a struggle. The mall is so big we literally gave up and settled at another local that we can afford.
We visited every corner of MoA and we are not very happy about that. We were forced because, again, we got lost. All we wanted was to go home but we didn’t know where were the stops for Divisoria. Nonetheless, We enjoyed the whole trip.
