I was thinking about all of The Shenanigans And Tomfoolery Danny could get up to whilst under the care of The Princesses and realized that, BECAUSE he is Their Ward (for now) this TECHNICALLY makes him a prince, especially because he's a liddol bebe alicorn. Therefore:

Danny thinking the guards assigned to him are just, Vibing, and not actually assigned to him for more than "pls help the bebe not be lost thanks"

BUT ALSO Teaching him how to make space to relax while having The Whole Nation Depending On You, how to still be true to yourself while presenting a public facing mask, how to make sure your advisors are good and not trying to backstab you

Also, the sisters get to learn how to have fun again: Celestia with pulling Harmless Shenanigans For Fun and Luna with telling stories and things

Also I think all of the above and ALSO think that they pull Cadence in within a few weeks for Danny under their care bc both princesses gotta be present for a meeting so they call her in bc "she babysat Twilight and Twi was already like that, surely nothing can go wrong here"

Cadence introduced to Danny and Danny's wary of her until he gets a FULL breakdown of how her magic works. Poor Cadence expecting Spoiled Colt instead gets the PTSD Trauma Response Colt (they make a series of code words so that if either Is Sus of mind control or something, they use it to confirm that the other is clear and ok. This is what makes Danny sus of Future Chrysalis!Cadence)

Idk I want to do more with Discord so I feel like, in his season finale when he gets re statued, Danny somehow gets him out without fucking up the statue? So now he gets a Pocket Sized Chaos going around places with him

Sneaks back to Discords statue to try and break the guy out so he can go home only to get caught by one of the princesses (haven't decided which yet) who are understandably Less Than Pleased that this random child is trying to bust out the bad guy of the year to start the mess over again

Noone but Pinkie Pie recognizes that Alive Danny is also Dead Danny

Noone but Pinkie Pie (and, if homie gets to get a nap in, Luna who sneaks into the dreams) believes it's him if he admits it

Pinkie, *somehow,* bullies the princesses into taking care of the child because "finders keepers and you found him" or something

Now Danny has to learn advanced pony magitech in order to go home while a) keeping it from the nosy new guardians, and b) not get so attached that he hits a point where he doesn't want to go home. Also c) not get caught trying (and succeeding) in busting discord out again to get his help in going home

Kurokabuuu!! If Kabru gets to be naked then so does Kuro, equality for all 🔥Not to break the mystique but in that intro comic Kuro isn't flexing he's just pushing Mickbell away bc he about to be in business mode gdbdg. Was weird trying to make Kuro look more demony, did not work very well except for making him buffer but hey...! A black dog demon yeah yeah yeah...!

I have accidentally recreated Howl's Moving Castle... NOW HEAR ME OUT- The base concept for my satyr Kabru AU (the initial idea was the sketch where he has no horns haha) now turned demon AU was materializing Kabru's fear of anything monster, particularly his insecurity as a kid of being an incubus('s child and that making him a monster), and helping him work through it so he can love himself and others and the world better, but everything started clicking only after thinking about Kuro's role in the setting more. He's this feared dude with a witchy reputation and a lil rhyme about how everyone should stay away from him for their own sake etc etc, but he's not a demon just a dog dude really. The setting in this AU is much like Dunmeshi, but all monsters are called "demons" instead and tied with this concept of demonic not just monstrous, there's special generalized fear in them being kinda fundamentally evil. But they're just beasts, and sometimes just demihuman races, like Kuro. Magic does exist though, and curses, and yeah just a folk kinda vibe!

Kabru because he's become supernatural knows how to speak Kuro's tongue now too, or maybe he's always known it idk... But Kabru sought Kuro out because he's The demon guy around, thought if anyone around would know how to do anything about his having become a monster it'd be him- Mickbell is there too ig like waaa this innocent-looking (def isn't) human loves this demon and lives with him, alone but peaceful as hermits in the woods? Wah wild. Wah we can still have love?? Wah we can fall in love together and live happy monster lives even if ostracized??! Wah wait I'm not even a monster it was just my own latent magical powers cursing myself because I worried and believed myself to be a demon so intensely for so long?!! Wah we can truly have it all...... Growth feels so nice. Except Mickbell, that grown ass man is not finding inner peace yet. Still he's chill here since he's a side char not a main one

It's how Kuro's confident in himself despite everything being stacked against him, it's how he still trusts and likes himself, it's how he just wants a simple happy life and pursues what he wants, it's how he takes things simply... Self-critical Kabru always neglecting himself over obsessing about the greater good could learn from him........ Kuro is the only one after his transformation that unconditionally welcomes him and shows him compassion and it's all so confusing to him, especially since at first Kabru wouldn't even offer that same humanization to Kuro, only risked it out of necessity for his own circumstances, but he gradually becomes able to see the humanity in him despite his appearance, mannerisms, way of life and ideals, until he sees the humanity in him and himself too despite their appearances, until he finds there's nothing wrong in this routine and life of theirs in this isolated magical little place, until........... Just about accepting all of those fuzzy inbetween ways to be that are unclean and hard to understand from the outside, and growing comfortable in them and loving himself and kuro and the life they've made together.......!!!!!! What if through humanizing you I humanized myself... What if through growing a understanding for each other wevalidated ourselves, love as self-love...

I love including Rin into things, for a more plotty story it'd be neat if she tried and followed Kabru... He up and disappeared and she's a capable mage and she doesn't know what his plan was because he never tells her anything so she goes out and pursues him- Could even be the main antagonist besides just idk self-hate and townspeople lol, like she thinks Kuro is keeping him prisoner or something and also because she kinda represents the same kinda social trauma Kabru has, where she's strict about conforming and being an irreproachable undeniable human so she kind of wants to drag him back to that state he was in of anxiety over acting and being human enough...... But of course in the ultimate confrontation when she has her staff pointed at Kuro and they talk, she's hurt by him not confiding in her and thinking of her as someone who wouldn't help, but she understands and stops and yay happy ending :> And if we want them to be in this Holm and Dia may be allies I feel 🤔Like maybe they help out Kabru when they see him, help him escape their human village at one point or something, Holm is quite nice and cares for spirits and Dia's fled her home too so they kinda get it in a way, it'd contrast Rin... This isn't about the Laios party lol. Rin & Mickbell shenanigans would lowkey be fun like maybe Mickbell tricks Rin into thinking Kabru IS there against his will so she can take him away and the status quo of Mickbell not having to share Kuro with anyone is preserved, or maybe they just shittalk and grumble together. Gbdgd this is a plotline about accepting change and these two are noooot happy about it

So yeah he hates being a monster that's the schtick!! Won't a cool dog man pleaseeee turn me human again. Surely he can do that right. So he goes to live with this feared coolass magicky guy and that guy's little guy at his weird home and through making connections and self-love the curse you actually unknowingly put on yourself gradually lessens and disappears, but you don't care anymore because that's the point 😌 Which is why I call it a Howl's Moving Castle recolor gdbd

Kabru is usually the voice of reason within kurokabu so it's really fun switching the roles in that way. If you're just stumbling into this and are sooo confused first of all congrats on getting so far second I can't overstate how unironic this is + if you want more explanation about the ship I made a brainstormy manifesto here <3 Like, did you know Kuro's name is actually Yodan? He was likely called Kuro by Mickbell due to the language barrier. In this AU it's because no one's interested in him as a person so people just give him an ominous title that means black. But Kabru learning his name and Kuro willingly giving away that information and Kabru feeling the weight of it because he really thinks this'd allow him to control him (he can't actually control bc he's not a demon! No one's a demon yay! Just weirdo humans who get otherized)......

a/n: I was contemplating on whether to actually add smut to this but I decided not to cause it's cuter this way and I think we could all agree there're plenty of bts smut but not enough fluff here! :D

Situationship was a funny concept. Either you commit or not, that was what you believed. Which was why you were not precisely proud to say that you was now in fact in one. 

In your defense it had only been what, three? Four weeks? A month or so? Min Yoongi was this nice guy your acquaintance introduced you to. Gentle, could be hilarious when he wanted to, and cute. Although he could be a little emotionless at times, mostly he was a really sweet guy and you liked him a lot. In your other defense, you did not believe what you had with him could be called as a situationship. It was just what your friends had been teasing you about. 

In the whole time of knowing him, you had been to total of three dates. The first being a casual “are you free for dinner after work?” kinda date, second a movie date, and third being a very chill cafe date. And in your opinion, you enjoyed all of them, you had the greatest of time chatting and spending quality time with him. But your friend kept teasing you otherwise. 

Apparently your dates were considered too boring, too innocent for today’s dating world standard. You had not even had your first kiss yet and one of your friends was already asking about his size. Evidently, wanting to take things slow was a crime nowadays and you were lowkey getting annoyed. 

Today though, your park date was cancelled due to the rain. You kept cursing to yourself at home when you saw Yoongi’s text telling you to do a literal rain check, seeing the thunderstorm. The outfit that you bought especially for the occasion failed to see the outside world. 

As you stood in front of the mirror, seeing the reflection gave you a weird idea. A small Siamese cat walking past your feet, meowing adorably. Your pet cat, Zuko. A cat whose existence wasn’t known by Yoongi yet. The lightbulb above your head lightened up. 

“Do you wanna see my cat?” You sent the text.

Yoongi texted you to let you know that he had arrived at your place. You recalled last time he picked you up it took him around fifteen minutes but this time he only took ten. You wondered what made him arrive a lot quicker. 

You were giddy with excitement and took a screenshot to tell your friend. Instead of being excited and giddy for you, your friend sent a bunch of side-eye emojis. Well, they could be just teasing you but the chat bubble following afterwards had you wondering. 

“Woo! Give me a rating score later!!!” 

You crooked your head in confusion, but there was no time to ponder on your friend’s riddle when Yoongi was already waiting for you to open the front door. 

“Hey.”

That hey definitely did not have to sound that deep and hot. You had to gulped your saliva down upon seeing him in his comfortable clothes. Since when did wearing sweatpants and baggy t-shirt looked so good? And did he just had his hair cut or was it just you? So many questions pilling up in your head. 

You knew it was game over when he went in for a hug. Heavenly was the only words you could use to describe his smell. It was a mixture of his shampoo and his laundry detergent, and his intoxicating smell. It seemed like he didn’t even use any perfume. 

“What should we eat?” You said while smiling giddily. 

“I’m kinda craving some instant ramen?” He looked at you while lifting a shopping bag filled with a few packets of noodles. 

Your eyes beamed. “That sounds really nice actually with the weather and all.” 

“Alright cool.” He nodded. “Let’s cook?”

Yoongi was being extra touchy. You were boiling the water and he would swiftly grab the chopsticks in front of you from behind, making you feel his chest. You fully knew well that he could easily grab the utensils without doing that, but for some reason the demons were working hard at the moment. He even leaned his chin over your shoulder as you were chopping some sausages. At this point he could be doing it on purpose for all you knew. 

He did not stop when you both started to eat. From the smooth wiping your lips from food to feeding you. Who was this person and what had he done to Yoongi you might never know. 

Right after washing the dishes and escaping a few of Yoongi’s teases, you both chilled on the sofa. As you browsed through Netflix, you could sense him scooting closer to you. You could feel his body warmth that automatically made yours grew hotter as well. 

“What are we watching?” He asked with a husky voice. By this point he was hugging your waist and rested his body weight on you. 

“I was thinking some action? You love those right?”

“I do.” 

You paused. Why was the tone of his voice sounded slightly off and why was he looking at you funnily?

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

He broke into a small smile. “Nothing.”

“Stop or I’ll make you watch Puss in Boots!” You whined. 

And then it hit you. The cat! You were too busy being swayed, head in the clouds, fantasizing, that you forgot why he was initially visiting you in your apartment.

“My cat!” You exclaimed loudly, which made Yoongi jumped and sat back up from his position. 

You missed the look of confusion in Yoongi’s face as you ran quickly to your room to pick up the furball in your bedroom. 

“I can’t believe I forgot about him!” You chuckled with your pet now in your arms. “He doesn’t like roaming around, he mostly sleeps in my room.”

Yoongi just looked at you, quizzically. As if he could not believe his eyes. 

“Meet Zuko!” You smiled, proudly showing your cat. “Zuko, meet Yoongi.” You giggled and shoved the cat to the man’s hands. 

He stared at the cat blankly for a good few seconds before gently petting the creature’s head. 

“Uh, hi.” He said, sounding lightly awkward. “He’s actually really cute.”

“I know right!” You grinned. “Do you wanna hold him?”

“Sure.” He said, sounding a little unsure. 

The man sat down with your cat on his lap, slowly stroking the soft white fur of its tiny body. You bent down, sat on the carpet on his knee level to pet the cat. Somehow seeing you smile lovingly at the cat made Yoongi’s lips curled into a soft smile as well. 

“You’re adorable.” Yoongi said. 

“He’s the cutest cat, I know.”

“No, I mean you.” 

“Oh.” You shyly looked away, hoping the nervous giggles did not give it away. “Thank you.” 

Yoongi chuckled and huffed a sigh. “I can’t believe there’s actually a cat.”

“Huh?” You crooked your head to the side, wondering what the guy meant by that. “Of course there is? What do you mean?”

“You’re gonna be the death of me.” He laughed. “You don’t know?”

“Uh, no?” 

He ruffled your hair and laughed again, this time a little bit louder than before. You were still stunned, too confused to process when he quickly pulled you in and kissed your forehead. Suddenly you did not want to protest about how messy he just made your hair. 

“It’s alright, maybe next time.” 

You covered your face with both of your palms.  “What’s with you today?!” You said with your hands still covering your face. 

“I like you.” He shrugged. “Might not be the most animated guy out there so I’m just letting you know.”

“Yeah, which is why I’m so confused with you today???” You said with flushed face. “Oh my god, that’s not the point though! I like you too!”

He chuckled. “Let’s just get back to the movie?”

The vibe after that conversation calmed down. Maybe it was the whole letting-the-cat-out-of-the-bag thing on your feelings making the air less thick. You ended up just cuddling, snuggling to each other while watching The Notebook. You both hated romance movies, but somehow finished the entire movie anyway after you misclicked it in the first place. It was nice and warm being in Yoongi’s arms and you were afraid you wouldn’t want to ever let go. 

And it was finally time for him to go home. Crazy how you did not notice the time went by so fast. Heck, you didn’t even notice the screen was already playing another movie. How could you when Yoongi was caressing your hair ever so gently? Goodness gracious. 

“Hey, I have to go now. Meeting in an hour, remember?” He tapped your shoulder. 

“I’m not letting you go.” You whined, hugging him tighter. 

He laughed. “Silly, I can come again tomorrow.”

You sat back up and looked at him. “Really???”

“I mean yeah, you don’t have work on Sunday, right?” He smiled. “If you want to, that is.”

“I want to.” You giggled. 

He flashed his gummy smile one more time before getting up from your couch. You walked with him to the door and waited for him to grab his jacket. The whole time you were stalling, asking him the most random questions, and made the silliest remarks. You just didn’t want him to go home yet, especially after finding out that he liked you too. 

“As much as I’d love to talk more about how much I disliked the whole education system, I really have to go now.” He chuckled. 

“Okay.” You pouted. You watched as he got up from tying his shoelaces. 

He huffed a sigh and smiled. “Come closer.”

You did as told without thinking and in a quick seconds, somehow you were pulled into a soft kiss. It was a soft peck and you could feel his smile through it. He didn’t gave you a chance to react as he swiftly let go. 

“See you tomorrow?” 

“Come on…” You whined again and covered your face in awkwardness, and he could only laugh at you. “Go! Before I lock you up!”

“I’ll text you.” He waved and you finally closed your door. 

You found yourself giggling and smiling to yourself like an idiot. This was new. Whatever in the fresh hell was that, you couldn’t lie to yourself that you were into this somewhat bold and flirty side of him. 

You casually walked back to your couch and switched the tv to youtube. As you let random science podcast video play, you decided to check your phone, realizing you had not text your friend back yet. 

“What do you mean by giving a score?”

Your friend replied almost too immediately. You were shocked to see the usage of caps lock. 

“YOU DON’T KNOW??????!!!!! WTF???”

“Okay, explain?????”

“Poor Yoongi has to deal with your dumbass 😔” 

“Shut up 🖕🖕🖕”

“It’s a code. You say that instead of asking to come over and have sex. Basically the new netflix and chill.”

“… okay. OKAY???!!!!!!”

“Bestie, did something happen though??? 😍”

The following morning was one that crept upon someone very slowly. It was raining and the entire world fell silent as you laid in bed, having Edwina curled beside you as you stroked her hair. After the storm last night, she was left frightened. Right before she fell asleep, she whispered her forgiveness to you. That small phrase left you awake all night as the actions that you and Anthony had committed replayed in your mind as you knew that you could never forgive yourself as Edwina had done to you.

Getting out of bed, you go about your usual day excluding the fact that your sisters did not seem to be as excited to start the day. Kate mumbled about wanting to sleep all day, but you dragged her out of bed so her wild curls could be brushed.

Edwina was rather difficult to get out of bed as she too turned over in her bed when you opened the curtains to allow the little bit of sun that peaked through the rain, into the room. You made mention that Lady Whistledown had written an article about Lady Danbury's ball and how she expects us to attend.

"Do we really have to go?" Kate asked. At this point, she was tired of dancing with uninteresting men.

"Yes, we must," Edwina says. "I have a new dress that I want to take out for a spin."

"Ah yes, it must be nice having the Bridgerton money!" You laughed.

Your two sisters turned their heads sharply to face you, Kate having a scowl written on her features.

"Sorry, I suppose it is still rather early to make jokes."

At your words, Edwina laughs with her entire body. She laughs so hard that tears form in her waterline.

"Oh my, sister!" She laughed. "You are quite funny!"

You look at Kate confused, hoping that your older sister would say something but she shrugged before walking out the door.

Anthony was in distraught. He knew that he needed to make amends with Edwina before ending the engagement. He felt horrible but he knew that he had no one else to blame but himself. He knew that he was completely to blame, but he also felt relieved as this journey had lead him on a path of self-discovery and it made him feel slightly better because now he knows that he is ready to have a marriage with love at the center, he just wished that it didn't have to be at the expense of two sisters.

With Benedict not speaking to him, Anthony was quite at his wits end. The only way that they could communicate is through Colin and he grumbled every time one of the older brothers demanded him to give the other a message.

"Brother, has it occurred to you that perhaps this is your own doing?" Colin asked as he grumbled about another message.

"Well, no Colin, that thought hasn't crossed my mind but only a billion times already," Anthony said, pouring the two a drink. "I have tried apologizing and though he has said that he forgives me, he will not speak to me directly."

Colin takes a swig of his drink and then looks to Anthony again. "Brother, you had sex with a lady and then he too had intimate relations with the same woman," He says. "Not to forget that you then carried the affair even after you knew that the two had shared a bed."

"Couch." Anthony corrects, causing Colin to groan and roll his eyes.

"See brother, it is this very attitude that keeps the two of you apart. Now if Benedict said to make things right with the two Sharma sisters, then by all means please do but do not be angry with Benedict for being hurt."

After Colin left the office, Anthony was left with only his thoughts and the uncomfortable lump in his throat as he thought about what he will do next.

Violet Bridgerton was sitting in the drawing room embroidering a pillow for Eloise when Anthony walked in, stress evident on his face. She looked up at her son and then placed the pillow onto the couch beside her. Standing up, she smooths her dress and then walks over to her son and places her hand on his cheek. 

“My sweet beautiful boy, what plagues your mind so hauntedly that you look as though you have not slept in three days?’’ She asks softly and at her words, Anthony’s entire resolve crumbles. 

Violet lets out a soft gasp of surprise as Anthony’s frame sinks against her and she holds her child in her arms as Anthony’s arms wrap around his mother to feel her comfort as his entire body shakes with tears streaming down his face. He wanted to be strong and hold himself together, but the overwhelming fear of being a disappointment for his mother overcame him and he cried in her arms for a few minutes. 

“It’s okay, my dear, just breathe,” She coos gently, helping Anthony calm down. “Tell me what is bothering you.” 

Anthony looks at his mother and tells her everything that has been happening between him and Miss Sharma. He explains the issue with the engagement and how he is not happy because the one woman that he loves is the sister of his betrothed. Violet listens to all of this before stopping him when he mentions Edmund. 

“My dear, it would pain your father to know that you are refusing the love of a woman because you simply proposed to the wrong woman,” She says. “Now I will say this only as your mother because it pains me to see you so distraught. I did not raise you to behave this way, but everyone makes mistakes and though yours is a messy mistake, there is a way for you to make it right.”

“How? Please tell me because I can not for the life of me find the solution, I feel as though my heart controls my mind and my mind has no control over anything.”

“Marry the sister whom you love.” She says before patting his cheek. “Listen to your heart and do what it tells you, it will lead you down the right path.”

Dresses twirl with every glide that a lady takes, a gentleman’s shoes thud against the floor with every step. The ladies and gentlemen of the ton were all collected at Lady Danbury’s ball and one might say that it was the best of the season yet. There were flowers and vibrant colors everywhere. It seemed as though the lights were made of diamonds and the ladies under them were made of the most precious jewels. 

Walking in with Edwina and Kate by your side, you scan the room to find the beverage table because you could already feel the tightening in your throat when you see Benedict Bridgerton dancing with another woman. You hope that he doesn’t see you, but he already has and is saying goodbye to the lady he was dancing with. 

“I think I will go get us some lemonade,” You tell your sisters before practically running away. 

Grabbing a drink, you make a beeline for the furthest corner in the room and try to hide from the Bridgerton. Sadly, he found you.

"Miss Sharma," He says. "Your gown is lovely."

"Thank you, Mr. Bridgerton." You say with a smile.

"I want you to know that I am giving you permission to marry Anthony," He says and you look at him dumbfounded. "I know it is him who you love and desire so I will not stand in yours or his way of happiness."

"Benedict-"

"Please let me explain," He says quickly. "Over the years after our father's death, I have watched Anthony become a shell of the man that once was my brother. He became the man of the house and I have never seen him truly happy since. After finding out that he had been with you, I was angry but when I heard him speak about you, I knew that I was delaying my brother from getting the life he deserves."

"Benedict, I-"

"I'm sorry, but I need to finish this." Benedict says before clearing his throat. "I may have fallen in love with you, Miss Sharma, but you do not love me the same. I may act like a heathen, but my mother did raise me to treat women with respect so I will never expect you to pretend to feel something you do not. If you do not end up at the alter with my brother, any man who gets to be opposite of you should be a man who treats you as you deserve, and I am disappointed that I can not be that man but you deserve a man who you love. I want to thank you for your appearance in my life and I also want to thank you for making my brother start to become the man that I once remembered him to be."

You go to speak before he bows his head to you and then walks away. You stand there appalled as tears threaten to fill your eyes and you have to blink them away. Suddenly the air in the room becomes too thick, the sounds of laughter from the guests become too much so you make your escape out the side door and Edwina catches sight of you while she dances with the son of an earl.

As you are rounding a corner, you collide with a strong body and slightly stumble back before the man's hand steadiest you. Despite the gloves, you recognized the owner of the hands before looking up into those brown eyes that you began to call home before your world collapsed.

"Lord Bridgerton," You bow and wait for him to speak.

"Miss Sharma, are you all right?" He asks. "I had not seen you there when I walked around the corner."

It had been a few weeks since you had seen Anthony and he had a bit of stubble that he hadn't shaved that morning. You felt your heart clench at the reminder that he was not yours. This was the last ball before his wedding to your sister and you were beginning to dread it all together.

"It was my own fault, my Lord," You say with a nervous smile.

"Would you care to share a dance?"

"I would love to."

His arms wrap gently around your frame, holding you close to his strong body. His face is inches away from you, his breath fans your cheek as you hold yours because this will be the last time you will ever be held by him in this way after tonight. You close your eyes and just feel his body against yours.

As your bodies sway and move with the music, you try to commit every part of this moment to your memory because that is all this moment will be, a memory that you will hold close to your heart for the rest of your life.

Opening your eyes, you look deep into Anthony's brown ones and find a longing gaze resting there. Your heart beats faster as the song picks up pace and Anthony grabs your hand to spin you around so that your back is pressed to his chest and his arm is pressed against your torso.

Your head naturally tilts to expose your neck and Anthony dips his head slightly, not enough to be noticed, but enough to inhale the scent of your perfume. You inhale deeply as a fires is light inside your body. Anthony spins you back around and you collide with his chest and you wrap your arms around his neck, highly unlady like, before moving them away from him. His arms are wrapped around you and he looks down at your doe like eyes as you blink up at him. His breathing shallows and you give him one more longing look, communicating very ounce of love and desire that you hold for him in your heart as the song comes to a slow end and the two of you separate.

You bow and then for what feels like the last time, you look at him before turning away and going to stand by Kate as you silently suffer through the feeling of longing alone.

Watching Edwina and Anthony dance and laugh to each other was torture for you and Kate watching you watch them hurt her. You stood there, eyes never leaving Edwina and Anthony as they spun around the room. She looked as though she was telling him something important, most likely about the wedding. While the two of them were smiling, they did not seem real. These two were to be married and Edwina got nervous at these events to it very well could have been nerves.

"Staring at them like you are jealous is not a good look for you, sister." Kate says with a teasing grin. "The green monster is not a very good look on you."

"When do you go back to India?" You ask with a smile.

"After the wedding," Kate says.

"Well thank goodness."

A man comes up to you. He has brown hair that is slightly curly and he is attractive.

"Miss Sharma, could I offer you a dance?" He asks with a small smile.

You decide that you like his smile.

"Yes of course," You agree and take his hand.

Leading you out onto the dance floor, you learn his name is Henry and that he has six younger siblings. He tells you that he hopes to have a family with his bride and that he hopes to get a dog.

"Miss Sharma, what are your hobbies?" He asks.

"My hobbies?"

"Yes. I would like to know more about you and your mind."

"I enjoy reading and writing."

"Could I perhaps read some of your work?"

"I'm not very skilled," You confess.

"Nonsense," He smiles and you found yourself smiling. "I'm sure your writing is just as beautiful as you.''

Anthony watches you from where he is dancing with Edwina. His dark eyes bore into the skull of the man who has you in his arms. Not very subtle of him to be glaring in your direction.

"And I think that we should not be married," Edwina states as she looks up at Anthony.

"I agree," He says, his eyes still trained on you. "Marriage between the two of us would be miserable on both parts."

"Anthony, will you at least look at me? Glancing at my sister while dancing with your soon to be wife is not a good look."

"I apologize."

"Oh please, spare me the sob apologizes," Edwina says. "You are not really sorry that the two of you betrayed me, but because you got caught when the stakes got too high."

"Edwina, I never meant to hurt you-"

"Spare me the details, Anthony." She rolled her eyes. "The two of you love each other and that is all there is to it."

"Are you angry?"

"Angry? At her, no. Not any more any way." She shrugged. "My sister has always put me before her every time so I do not blame her for falling for your charms and finally putting herself first. I am however angry with the fact that neither of you thought to tell me that you loved each other."

"I didn't want to mess up our plan of marriage."

"Well, I am glad I am not marrying you because if I was, this would hurt a lot more."

Edwina sees a man dancing with you and sees the change in Anthony's eyes as he stares from across the room.

"Who is that?"

"Don't they look perfect?' Henry asks after catching your eyes on the couple.

"Yes, they do." You say with a hint of sadness.

"I hope to find a love match like theirs," he says as he looks at you. "It's not every day that you find someone to spend your life with."

"It is not," You say. "Some times, you fall for someone who you can never possess resulting in the same fate."

"I was hoping-"

"Henry, you are a nice man, but my heart lies somewhere else. I am terribly sorry."

"Miss Sharma, I do not fault you for your heart being with another man," He says, moving a loose strand of hair out of your face. "Love does funny things to a person and it is very evident that you have a desire to be with a certain person. I do wish you the best of luck, Miss Sharma. Good day."

He walks away from you in the middle of the dance floor and you watch as everyone else in the room seem to have eyes on you as they spun around you. Walking off the dance floor, you find Kate and ask about Edwina.

"She is currently about to give her speech."

Turning to the center of the room, the Queen looks around confused as Edwina clinks a spoon against her glass to get everyone's attention.

"Hello everyone," She says. "As some of you know, I am Edwina Sharma and I am engaged currently to Viscount Bridgerton, at least I was."

Gasps fill the room and everyone's eyes cling to her frame. Anthony joins her at the center of the room.

"That is true," He confirms. "Our hearts do not beat the same rhythm, thus not following the same path."

"I wanted a love match, and Anthony's heart doesn't not hold love for me," Edwina continues.

"Edwina and I are trying to say that we will not have a wedding in three days time. There will not be a wedding between the two of us," Anthony says.

Edwina walks away from Anthony and returns by Kate's side and looks at you from across the room. You stare at her with disbelief. She said that she wanted to marry him and yet she just publically ended their engagement before the entire ton, including the Queen.

Anthony stands in the center of the floor with all eyes on him. Queen Charlotte stands up and all eyes shift to her.

"Well, that was a turn in events," She says. "Lord Bridgerton, would you care to enlighten me on who it is you will be marrying? After all, who would be a better pick than the lady I choose for you?"

Anthony nods and walks into the crowd. His eyes are fixed on you and you feel your breathing stop. He can't be serious. There is no way that he would do this to you.

Anthony stops right in front of you and gives you that boyish grin that made you fall in love with him. All eyes are on the two of you, but it feels as though it is only you and Anthony in the room. He takes your hand in his and lifts it to his lips, and a gasp rang out from the crowd as his lips touch your gloved hand.

You feel the warmth of his lips through the gloves and a blush overtakes your face. He then guides you to the room, his eyes never leaving yours. His face is filled with warmth and it appears as if he is melting before you. Everything moves in slow motion because it feels like forever before you make it to the center of the room before the Queen.

You nervously curtsy and bow your head before her. Anthony slips your arm in his and he looks up to the Queen.

"My heart belongs with her. She is who I will marry."

"Heart touching, really, but does she want to marry you, Anthony?" Queen Charlotte asks. "I have not yet heard you ask that question."

The crowds eyes shift back to the two of you and then back to the Queen.

Anthony turns to you and pulls out the wedding ring from his mother. The very ring that his father gave to her when they wed. He moves in front of you and gives you a smile before dropping to one knee.

"Miss Y/N Sharma, our love has not been easy," He starts. "Our love has been shaky and difficult, but I could never ask for a better person to go through this journey of life with. I want to dance with you at every ball. I want to wake up beside you and lie down beside you every night. My heart tells me that you are the one for me, that you are my person. So I ask you, in front of the ton, in front of the Queen, and most importantly your family, I ask will you marry me?"

Tears pour down you face as you struggle for words. Silence fills the air as everyone waits for your answer. You look at Anthony and feel your heart swell. Anthony looks up at you with devoted love and admiration as he waits for your response. The crowd erupts with cheer and claps when the word leaves your lips.

"Yes."

all that to say idt hed fully Know the consequences of possession well enough to be scared of leaving . he knows that possession is physically taxing on the vessel but he mostly knows that bc he was told by other demons and thats abt it. he knows abt the comatose state and the soul degradation bc those are just classic parts of possession . but bc his wings being burning hot are a more petey specific thing idt he Realizes that his wings would burn dm .

when hes actively possessing him its all petey in there . theres a certain disconnect betwen the demons soul and the hosts body so the demon usually cant rlly feel what the hosts body is phyiscally feeling . its like piloting a mecha ina way? the mecha can take damage but the pilot woukdnt feel anythjng. similar to that

not to mention dms last words before going dormant were to not hold back and to use his body to its limit if it means lp would be safe . so he went all out which is proportional to the amt of damage taken by dms body . also there were probs js some physical costs during the fight itself like broken bones and skin cuts that petey doesnt feel.

i reckon he only realizes the sheer Extent of the physical tax on dms body Post possession and he feels guilty as hell abt it LOL 😭😭😭 the typical human body does Not fare well having been burned broken and cut all within the span of a few hours and be can See that . pts only unaware of it during possession bc hes Inside dms body. but once he ends the possession he sees him in 2nd/3rd person pov so he can actually see all the physical damage his body took . and i reckon that makes him a litle sixk to his stomach . so yeah .

I was wondering about your view point that Lin is a bad chief of police, the main things I can think of is the Pema incident ( which seems to be played off as a funny story/ one off incident), her handling of Mako's concerns about people like Varrick and Wonyong Keum and the fact triads still run rampant in the city ( though this one I have to minds on since even Toph said that once you stop one criminal more just pop this being a reason she grew disillusioned with the job herself). Sorry if you've already done a post on this I think I read a similar one by you but haven't been able to find it again.

I don't think I've ever specifically made a post on this subject alone, because it's kinda just a silly goofy half jokey opinion i have. Like i don't think Lin is the worst police chief ever. But there are some moments that make me raise my eyebrows a little. I probably wouldn't harp on it if Lin weren't a character so focused around her job and if she didn't use her job as a moral highground.

Of course yeah there's the thing where she tried to put a romantic rival in jail which is still Crazy to me. Also whatever property damage this probably alludes to

But I'll let her off for now on this considering she may not have been chief yet. Still atrocious behaviour for a cop.

B1 is kinda unfair here, because for a plot like the one with the Equalists to work, the police force inherently have to be somewhat incompetent. Like the attack on the probending arena is kinda absurd to me. They had ample warning that a terrorist attack wa sgoing to happen. But somehow multiple people snuck into the audience bearing these Bigass Ominous AF Mechanical Gloves.

Like im not allowed to bring a bottle with a cap into a concert but Lee the Equalist gets to bring his Iron Man hand to a sporting event?

And don't get me started on the reveal later on, which shows that the multiple police force airships have been absolutely Decimated by the Equalists like I feel bad for laughing but genuinely how did this happen.

I do also find it interesting how fast Lin is to just go like "ok I'm gonna go fo vigilante stuff now because it suits me" when her officers are kidnapped. Like I love that arc for her but "I'm gonna do it my way- outside the law" is not what I wanna hear from my law enforcement officers tbh. She should've just stayed quit then.

B2 isn't atrocious for Lin, I think, she's just being exhausting because Mako is essentially carrying an entire police force on his scrawny 19 year old shoulders. Which, this isn't a specifically Lin thing, Mako just seems like the only competent cop to ever exist in Republic City? And that bothers me. Hire better ppl, Lin.

I don't wanna cast judgement onto how Lin treated Mako's very obvious framing, because I'm not sure what she could've done, or if she was actively believing Mako was the perpetrator. It just feels weird that she wouldn't offer any input. And I wouldn't be surprised if there was some bias there based on Mako's past with ths Triple Threats on Lin's side too. It just irked me because she should know better.

B3 is where it gets funny, though. Like Lin just casually helps Korra rescue the airbenders in a clearly marked Republic City police vehicle. Mind you, Bumi had pointed out that the Earth Queen was well within her legal right to forcefully conscript the airbenders. It wasn't the good thing to do, but Republic City's police chief essentially helped steal a neighbouring monarch's property in a fully marked airship with the Republuc City crest on it. I feel like the only reason this wasn't an international incident was because the Earth Queen got murdered a week later.

Like this is the airship Lin was driving while helping commit international crimes...

Which, honestly, Lin's presence in B3 is just really funny because a bunch of terrorists known for targeting leaders of countries are put and about and Lin is like "yeah I'll be leaving my jurisdiction now". Like this is the funniest exchange because Lin is currently miles away from her job.

I think B4 is pretty inoffensive. Just the same thing as B1 and B3, where Lin is just maybe pissing off foreign rulers by stealing their prisoners, as she goes on an unsanctioned mision across he Iron Wall to save her family. I'd say she has a little more leeway because Kuvira is committing crimes by usurping a nation. Idk.

Like don't take from this that I think that everything Lin does that is at odds with her job as Chief of Police is bad. In fact, some of my favourite parts of Lin's storylines are when she doesn't act as a cop.

I honestly sometimes just get the impression that Lin just... doesn't enjoy being Chief of police. Like she clearly thrives when solving crimes and helping people, but seems to trip up on the organisational level. She seems to drop the mantle of Chief to go gallivanting with her pet teenagers whenever she can.

Can't sleep so I'm gonna talk about Akane Tendo's reputation among fans. It's no secret I'm an Akane fan, and I'm glad that the fandom seems to be kinder to her today than in the past. In light of this, I'd like to address some of the common arguments people make or used to make against her.

For reference, a significant chunk of the humor in Ranma 1/2 involves Ranma, often intentionally, pissing Akane off, to the point that she hits him really, really hard. This is a pretty common comedic trope in shonen anime prior to like...I wanna say the 2010s? (I never watched Naruto since it looked bad but I am pretty sure that's Sakura and Naruto's dynamic.) Anyways, while I joined the fandom recently, I have learned that when the show came over to America in the early 90s, Akane was SUPER controversial for treating Ranma like this, with her critics calling her a violent domestic abuser and misandrist, and her reputation has only really recovered recently.

Now, if the "girl character beats up boy character in fit of rage" trope is something that isn't your taste in comedy, then it's not your taste in comedy. However, it's important to keep in mind qualifiers for Akane's behavior. Akane at the start of the series has been harassed by boys at her school who want to beat her up and force her to date them, leading to her having a justifiably poor perception of men and boys. Her hating boys and seeing the worst in them is very different from a man hating women due to patriarchal expectations, and even then she treats boys who are nice to her like Ryoga well.

Honestly, the only area where her dislike of boys gets kinda like morally problematic in my view is if you interpret Ranma as a trans girl: while I joked in an earlier post that Akane is a TERF, one could argue that, albeit unintentionally, Akane's negative reaction to seeing Ranma naked in her bathtub (even if accidentally) and then calling him/her a pervert plays on transphobic rhetoric against letting trans women use the women's restrooms like we're supposed to. (Humorously, most of the people mad at Akane seem to be, ah...not exactly fond of trans!Ranma headcanons, but I digress.) If other trans girls or our allies don't find the slapstick funny for that reason, fair enough, but I don't feel bothered by it given how most of the time Ranma gets hit it's for being legitimately rude and again the violence is very unrealistic.

Admittedly, if Ranma 1/2 had a more serious tone and grounded level of violence, Akane hitting Ranma would be abusive. But in the series, martial artists can walk off stuff like being crushed by a boulder, so Akane beating Ranma up by kicking him/her 50 feet into the sky because she thought he/she was trying to feel her up is not so much like domestic abuse and more akin to a wife giving her husband a light dope slap. Remember, much of the violence in this series is basically just that of a Tom and Jerry cartoon, albeit with an early Dragon Ball aesthetic. Furthermore, Ranma - as much as I love him/her as a character - is usually the instigator, with the wiki even having a list of the cruel nicknames he/she gives her, so it's not as if her actions are unwarranted:

There is, per some people, a gendered component to this discussion, that if the genders were flipped, this wouldn't be funny since Ranma doesn't hit Akane. Now, firstly, if you're a man and a 35-year-old anime not having a boy beat up a girl enough is your worst experience with "sexism", well...get over it. Secondly, in terms of wider media, men commit violence against women that is framed for laughs all the time (ex.: Miroku in Inuyasha, another Rumiko Takahashi series, is a male character where his running gag involves him groping women, which is a more realistic form of violence than anything Akane dishes out), so the notion that it's only women who hurt men in media for laughs is untrue. Thirdly, the notion that hitting Ranma is viewed as okay because "he's a boy" is dubious since he does canonically turn into a girl and Akane hits Ranma regardless of gende, and despite his claims to the contrary he/she doesn't really hate being a girl as much as he/she claims. As a concession, I will note that especially in the past some writers can be reluctant to show slapstick against women, but this is more due to internalized misogyny and viewing women as weak and needing protection. Personally, even assuming that Akane was a boy and Ranma was wholly a girl, I'd have no problem with the slapstick since it's clearly goofy and unrealistic.

Anyways, I'd like to conclude by saying (1) I am glad that I joined the fandom at a time when Akane is being perceived more and more fairly as a flawed but generally pretty nice and hilarious character who has a good deal of pathos despite the clearly slapstick-y nature of the series, and (2) thanks for reading this long, very sincere post.

tony being the eccenterically dramatic piece of mess in a relationship sometimes auto assigns him as the one who loves the most out of the two (at least, monogamy has been the way of his life up until, well, now)

there was a question about that when he got involved with pepper but he threw all arguments off track when he left her for her best - at least pepper endorses his actions as such and seems to be pretty much in peace with that decision so tony kinda rides with that sentiment too

he loves pepper so much to keep giving her heart attacks over his radical choices in battle fields so he left her for her peace. et voila

happy looks at him funny ever since but that's just - well, that's not something so earth shatteringly unusual for him to start questioning, especially when pepper got happy in said divorce

point is, he thinks he's the matryr, the ultimate sacrificial lamb and the person who carves out the largest section of his heart for his lovers until he stood in front of steve and steve said no

well, not as much verbally as much as he put his foot down and dragged tony to his bed, closed the blinds and when tony woke up 15hours later and well rested, steve brought a tray of breakfast in bed, sat silently until tony finishef everything and asked, "still wanna break up with me?"

because steve is a fighter and he thinks tony is worth fighting for

"i love you," he told tony aplenty. "unless you don't love me anymore and would like to end this relationship because you got tired of it and not because you think i got tired or scared or whatever you assume i am feeling for you - i want you to stop trying to write us of."

"because i won't" steve said. "i will never write us off."

so it outright stumps tony when he dropped the shield and tony, picked bucky barnes and walked out of that bunke without ever looking back

"should i assume or not, now?" he snorts, lips pressed tight as his fingers leave imprints on the letter steve wrote him

he wonders - sat in steve's office on steve's chair behind steve's desk where steve had fucked tony once past midnight after a heat of a fight and he wonders if this is steve writing them off

because for once, with steve, tony truly believed that steve loved him more than tony loved steve

because when steve used to hold him so tight in the night as if the slightest space between their bodies will physically break him, tony thought, how could i ever leave him

and because when steve remembered every event on tony's calender and what he likes to eat and what not and every bit of his quirk and even more miniscule things tony was used to bypass as peeves that can be tolerated with a little more ounce of strong will, tony truly believed that steve cared for him unlike anyone ever did or can ever do

well, jokes on him cause steve could also, evidently, break him like no one ever could

funny, cause tony trusted him so much. funny cause that was the first thing howard and maria drilled into him ; never trust anyone but howard also dug a hole in little tony and planted a seed of inherent faith in captain america and maybe there is a sick correlation between tony's trust for that icon being mistaken as trust for steve and steve is not just an icon, he is a man of his own and, and -

maybe it's tony's own fault but if that's the side of the coin he's committing on, then that would mean tony did a blatant disservice to steve by lying to him that he loved him when he actually loved captain america which is just absurd and insane and every bit wrong because tony loved the steve who sat on his couch with legs spread wide, stubbles on chin, tomato sauce under his lip as he laughed merrily while tony lost on a video game and no captain america can do that

no captain america can beg tony to just please hold it in while he hoisted tony up the wall and rammed into him until he rode his high and when tony complained of his back aching for the next whole month, all he got was a devilish smirk and a loose shrug and no, not the captain america howard told him about would do that

it was all steve rogers.

from his bared legs, and boxers with naked torso, slumped on tony's bed with a sketch pad and smearing charcoal on his leather headboard and sure, tony could easily get rid of that smudge but he still feel something when he looks at it even now, with all of his shattered heart

maybe steve should have gone for the head, break tony's neck in half and just finished it cause that would be more merciful than abundance of memories of steve whispering, sighing, whining, gasping, telling, choking out and moaning i love you into tony's ears

that would just be kind but steve is not kind. he's a fighter who fucking fights even if its dirty because he's here now, stood next to that charcoal smudge on tony's headboard with both of his palms out, arms outstretched and just waiting while tony stands, breathless, choking on his bleeding heart trying to blink past his tears and ask, "what do i do now?"

because the truth is, tony still loves steve and steve once told tony to never assume anything about steve so he's kinda stuck now on that day in that siberian snow, still on his back with broken armour encasing his mundane body, awaiting for steve's next move

Isn’t it interesting having some probable context to the ‘i promised I’d go to the moon with JK’ comment.

The film mentioned seems to be about lost chances, a tragedy meaning the male protagonist couldn’t tell the girl he loved her. He gets the chance to travel back in time to right it. The band in the film was called the moon.

I’d never seen the links before. It’s seems reverential in many ways. It must mean a lot to them. It feels like a powerful promise. Forever really. Or to not regret anything?

Maybe made them think about their own situation with the band, and on how to not miss their chance to live their love fully.

Funny the movie was released in korea in 2018 and it was a year with powerful statements from jikook such as Jimin sitting on Jungkook's lap in Paris and MMA 2018. From the middle of the year until the end of it they were especially loud so maybe the movie and the concept of not regretting missing out on their relationship created a shift in mindset where they agreed to let go a little more?

That's very interesting timeline-wise I think and adds context to that year.

It could have been a very powerful realization. Because before that yes something was going on but there is always so many things happening with the band, it's possible their relationship wasn't first priority at all simply because of too much schedule.

You take the tokyo trip that already took them out of busy life and showed them they could have quality time together + this movie they probably watched together to remind them what they had IS important too and it could have shifted their entire perspective and minset. (Speculating here)

Maybe that's why it meant so much to them and that's why they took on the moon so much and later became "the sun & the moon".

Since it held special meaning maybe this was a pretty natural concept to integrate in their duo and their tattoos make even more sense now.

Ahhh I really want to watch this movie to understand exactly what resonated with their own journey as artists and lovers.

chris and i have been friends for two years. we met through mutual friends during a party and have been inseparable ever since.

i’m good friends with his brothers too, but something’s different about chris. we immediately clicked that night. laughing at each other’s jokes even when no one else found it funny, bonding over similar interests, and playfully arguing over our differences. it was singlehandedly the best night of my life.

i was convinced i met my soulmate, though, back then i would’ve called it platonic. but anyone with a pair of eyes could see we liked each other. the problem is… we both have commitment issues, we’re scared of what could be. i’m tired of feeling like this.

i’m not good at making the first move so i’ve been trying to drop subtle hints to show my feelings for him. i let him catch me staring at him, i let our hugs linger a little longer than usual, i even started complimenting him more which wasn’t really a part of our dynamic. maybe he didn’t notice yet. or maybe the problem is that he did notice…

i waited a few seconds before looking back and saw them move from the spot they were in, hand in hand, as she leads him to an empty room. and he was just…following her. my heart beat faster with each step they took, skipping a beat when she pulled him in and shut the door behind them.

i couldn’t take it anymore. i had to leave.

without saying goodbye to anyone, i walked out the front door teary-eyed and headed straight for my car. as soon as i was alone i broke down crying and started replaying the image of them together, wondering what they’re doing up there. what was he doing. why was he doing this?
