Here is the most simple problem every human experiences: If you are not familiar with X group, then any individual member of that group must represent the whole.
Your sister likes horses? Well, every girl must like horses then.
You meet someone from a different country that has a strange quirk? Well, everyone from that country must be like that.
Your gay friend is bad at math? Well, every gay person must be bad at math.
Your friend of X race has great skin? Well, every member of that race must have great skin, too.
This happens to everyone. Everyone. Trying to act like it doesn’t happen to you just stops you from examining your biases. And yeah, when you learn more about the world, it can be easy to make assumptions so you can more easily understand and interact with it. Cultural customs, trends, and characteristics are useful.
But with assumption comes bias and prejudice. And assumptions cannot lead you forever.
That is why you need to delve deeper. Expose yourself to different cultures and ways of thinking. Meet people who are different than you. Listen to them. Find media from their cultures, separate the stereotypes from the culture.
One does not represent the whole. Every human being is unique.

Look Kristen is a kid so its understandable and Ally is great and I'm sure has a plan for this. But Kristen should not be a cleric lol. I hope that after the wizard synogue incident Cassandra takes the Archfey deal to keep herself safe and Kristen loses her powers because honestly based on her RP that girl has NO wisdom. She has NEGATIVE wisdom. If you don't like the gods currently on offer but can't take responsibility for keeping a new one alive (because you're a kid) then you should just respec. Pick a charisma-based spellcaster class that doesn't require a bunch of work like the Int classes or responsibility like the Wis classes. Give up your soul to Fig (or just give it back to newly-Archfey Cassandra) for Warlock spells idk.

post season 4 eddie lives, eddie's heading to harrington's house for the third annual post apocalypse brunch except eddie hasn't slept much and his bed is ITCHY right now so he goes a little (probably way) too early
it's robin who lets him in but behind her is steve just walking by buckass naked and eddie gapes and then stares at robin who he was pretty sure was a lesbian and robin kinda stares back like ??? what??? before it clicks
"OH yeah he just does that, don't worry i thought he was a huge pervert for a while but no he was just raised by wolves STEVE PUT ON PANTS WE'VE TALKED ABOUT THIS"

So I think that what we're told of Mrs Curufin implies that she's the opposite of meek and yielding and certainly isn't someone who Curufin barrels over.
Per footnote 7 in Of Dwarves and Men (PoME), Celebrimbor is a man "of wholly different temper" than Curufin, because "his mother had refused to take part in the rebellion of Feanor". (Aka, he inherited her temperament.)
First of all, refusing to go along with what 90% of the people around you are doing isn't something that's easy to do and if anything it implies strength of character. But more importantly, Celebrimbor shares his mother's temperament; she shares his. And Celebrimbor isn't meek or yielding or easily barrelled over. He's a character who is proud and ambitious and is willing to tell people no, including under tremendous duress, a character with more strength of will than Curufin. A character who desires to surpass Feanor himself in skill and fame. A character who welcomed Satan Jr, taught and learned from him, and at the end defied him unto death - Celebrimbor had his own rebellion against the Valar. A character whose ambition wasn't the piddly one of engineering a coup d'etat in a single city but to make the entire world a paradise equal to heaven.
If Celebrimbor's mother is anything like her son, and Jirt says her son is like her, she's one impressive woman.
She married down.

I wonder how they made the purgatory 2 teams ... like with purgatory 1 you could tell they were tryign to break up most of the pre-established relationships for the sake of drama. but with purgatory 2 there are multiple team-ups of people who really really wanted to be teamed together - for example, etoiles, who joined purgatory 2 specifically to play with kenny, got to be teamed with him. plus iirc they did do team balancing to a certain extent (and also didnt team any purgatory 1 players with each other). so I wonder if they went the MCC/block wars/pandoras box route of "google form that asks you who youd like to be teamed with"! I feel like that would account for some of the interesting/unexpected decisions especially amongst new players (eg. Rodezel, who really wanted to be teamed with Bad)

i was just thinking this morning that it’s such a shame to live in a city & watch people let their fruiting trees and bushes just rot because they’re often there for aesthetic or inherited instead of intentional for harvest but when i got to work i checked on the apple tree overhanging the parking lot & they cut it down!!!! so obviously im not paying attention to fruiting trees either. who knows when that happened

Potentially the only good thing about the SCOTUS affirmative action decision is that now whenever white moms are being delusional and accusing us of not admitting her kid because we’re “discriminating against him for being a straight white male,” I get to say “actually due to the scotus decision (that you’ve been so excited about for years) all racial and ethnic identifiers are blocked out from applications so we literally are physically incapable of seeing them when evaluating so this was based on your child’s academic skills which I gotta say. Not great”
