7. What’s the weirdest thing (character) has done/ would do? I think this is meant to have a specific character mentioned, but I’ll try to give a good answer lol. I think the weirdest thing is def Sky breaking into people’s houses and sleeping in their beds lol. Not even Wild does that. And yeah I know that Sky grew up with the people of skyloft, but I love to imagine that he just does that. So when he’s out of skyloft, he discovers that not everyone likes it when a random stranger goes into their home and sleeps in their beds lol. Apparently people will call the town guard on you 🤔

9. What headcanons/ plans do you have about (character)’s family? I think this is meant to be another specific character, but I think a lot about the Link’s families! Sky, Minish, Time, and Legend I have no ideas, but there’s Hyrule’s family that I think about the most! His mother is a great fairy and his father is a Hylian, so he himself is a half fairy! His father Benji married his mother Faima since he was conceived and they raised him together. But unfortunately, while traveling Hyrule, Benji lost sight of his son, and they got separated. Benji spent most of his time looking for his son (his real name is Orchid) but he was basically renamed Link and was all over Hyrule. So he wasn’t able to find him until after the events of aol. Benji and Faima were pretty distraught knowing how rare and valuable their son is, so it was bad vibes. But now that they’ve reunited, they’re trying to rekindle their relationship! But Hyrule doesn’t remember much of his childhood, just vague memories of his parents, so it’s a challenge.

Twilight’s biological family still has me confused. Idk how old I want him to be when he meets Rusl and Uli, idk how his parents died, idk where they died, idk what’s happening. But I do know that during the temple of time, Link was officially adopted by Rusl and Uli. Very wholesome and cute.

Four’s mother was a very tough woman, which ended up being her demise. When he was 3 months old, she got sick and ended up collapsing cuz she kept pushing through. Leon (Four’s father) found her and took her to the healer, and she ended up dying. Leon had to take time off from being a knight to take care of his son, fortunately the king was very kind and understanding, and many women were able to help feed Four since he was still a baby. When Four got older, the king allowed him and Lily (his Zelda) to be raised together while Leon was working. That’s why the two are so close, and Leon helped Lily when the king eventually passed away. It’s just Four and his father now

Windy’s parents died when he was like… four? Or five. He was pretty young. His mother died during child birth, and his father and grandfather died during a hurricane. Grandma and Aryll were all he had left. He has vague memories of his father, he still remembers him promising Windy to take him fishing someday. But it never happened.he adores his sister and grandma of course, and he sorta had to grow up to help raise Aryll and many of the kids on outset. He was at an awkward age where he was too young to hang out with the adults, but too old to hang out with the kids, and he always had to babysit them. So he spent a lot of time alone or with Aryll, since she’s a lovely sister.

I have no ideas for Spirit so moving onto Wild and Age. They basically have the same family sooooo yeah. His father is Ammon and his mother is Sarah. Sarah is from Hateno and trained under her father to be a blacksmith. Ammon is from castle town and has had a rough time after his older brother, Georgie, died. He got motivated to join the army and to protect people, and that led him to Hateno where he and Sarah met. Age/Wild have/had a younger sister named Aryn, who’s much younger than her older brother, probably around 12, and she’s a more positive upbeat kinda gal. His grandfather is an intimidating and strict old man, but he has a soft spot for his grandchildren. They rarely see Ammon’s parents tho since their relationship is very strained. Not much else to say, beloved. Rip Wild.

And Warriors…. When he was very little, probably 5, he was with his twin sister Linkle, his grandmother, and his father. Monsters attacked their village and they got separated, with Linkle sticking with her grandmother, and Warriors sticking with his father. They all assumed they were dead. Linkle and her grandmother stayed at some outskirts village while Warriors and his father stayed near castle town since his father is a knight. Warriors got pretty popular with the knights that his father knew, and when he was 12, his father passed away. Warriors went to his father’s best friend, Theo and asked him to train him when he was 13 cuz he wanted to follow his father’s footsteps, so he was trained. Hence why he’s so good at fighting. Their grandmother died a little before the war of eras, so he never reunited with her. But he and his twin sister were able to meet again :)

14. Do you have any headcanons about the races of Hyrule? Man this would’ve been the perfect time to talk about Hylians vs humans 😭😭 guess I’ll do it again. Hylians and humans are very similar to each other, but they are physically different! Obviously Hylians have pointy ears, and it allows them to hear better than humans. They’re also much tougher than humans. They can fall from a high height into water or on land and have a higher chance of surviving than if a human were to fall. They can also handle extreme temperatures much better than humans. This is all based on gameplay in Zelda, which I know that Link is pretty tough in game cuz it’s a video game, but hey, there’s gotta be some differences! This is more focused on my strangers across eras au but it’s fun to think of differences between the races!

Finding out You're in the Fatui

Characters: Jean, Childe, Keqing, Albedo, Diluc, Xiao

Diluc:

Whatever way he finds out he’s very upset; he trusted you, he fell in love with you yet now he finds out you’re with the enemy? He’s fearing that everything that’s happened between the two of you was a lie, that you just used him until you got what you needed. His brain is just in a storm of thoughts

He wants to believe that you’re good at heart, that all of this was because you didn’t have much of a choice. He’s going to ask questions, but more importantly he will offer you a way out: abandon the Fatui and just live with him he will vow to protect you and even find a safe area to work if employment was a concern of yours

If you accept his offer he’s glad that he didn’t have to lose you, he loves you too much and it’d be just too sad for him to have to cut ties with you especially since you’re the first one he’s felt such strong feelings for

But if you refused and you made it clear that you willingly joined the Fatui, he’s absolutely heartbroken. He’d probably start crying out of how painful the reality of the situation was and try to beg you to leave and stay with him. He does not have the heart to even consider having to fight you, he didn’t want to harm you yet here you were showing a completely different side to you that not even he caught onto

Xiao:

He is enraged at the new information when he finds out. He curses himself for being so blind and having trusted you as much as he did. How could he be calm about this; you played a hand in the fall of the archon he served under, the archon that saved him from his horrible past and gave him a new purpose in life. How could he ever forgive you for such a betrayal

Though he refuses to bloody his hands with those of mortal blood, he will lash out and attack you. His heart hurts as how could he let this happen, he loved you yet was this the world’s way of punishing him for his past he could only wonder

If you plea to him to listen to your explanation he’s conflicted; you were either telling the truth or you were lying to just buy yourself some time… But he stopped and kept a safe distance from you as though you hurt his trust in his heart he still very much loves you so if there was a glimmer of hope that you can be saved he would be willing to listen to judge for himself. His expression softens when learning that you essentially got forced and trapped into working in the Fatui and at that point he is willing to keep you with him which mainly consisted of you living at the Wangshu Inn with him

However if you confirm that you’re in the Fatui of your own choosing he’s hurt, but he’s already withdrawing his own emotions so it didn’t get in the way of his duties. You’re no longer the mortal he fell in love with, you were just another mortal trying to use him for your personal gain. He’ll warn you to never to return and that you are no longer permitted to call out his name because from that moment on you were enemies

Albedo:

Deep down he didn’t want to accept the possible fact you were potentially bad. There were small things you did or said that made him slightly skeptical of you yet he overlooked them because he was in love with you, there was something that always made him so curious and so fascinated with you. You never judged him, you were patient with him, as you even put yourself at risk with plenty of his experiments

Of course this conversation was in the privacy of his lab in Dragonspine, surely there was no need to have a big scene be made especially when he wanted to simply hear what you had to say for yourself. He’s very composed and calm for someone who’s feeling this pain in his chest at the fact that you’ve kept this from him for so long

If you were truly innocent it saddens him to hear how you were stuck paying off a debt that wasn’t even your own and that was the only reason why you were stuck in the predicament that you’re in. Surely there had to be some way to hide you from the Fatui right? Maybe not up there in Dragonspine since there were already so many of the agents scouting the mountains, but maybe he could ask Jean if you could stay with him; however, that then led to another possible problem. If he tried to explain the details the fact that you were associated with the Fatui, Jean might just want to arrest you for interrogation which he might have to simply keep that knowledge to himself for the sake of your safety

But at any time you're telling your story he will call you out on something if he feels you weren’t being truthful. Hearing that you were a third generation agent he came to understand that it was initially a family legacy to uphold; rather unfortunate but oddly enough he still didn’t look down on you for that. Of course he’s unsure of what to do as things are surely to be complicated now, but how could he come to really see you as the enemy when he loves you

Regardless of the case, he will continue to stay with you; however, he’ll take a few precautions to insure his own safety. He won’t be sharing details of things he’s working on, no more asking to help with experiments (unless they’re just something mundane and nothing too serious), but other than that he just can only hope that you will continue to be truthful from there forth

Childe:

You are his favorite and it’s very obvious to everyone in the Fatui. You are just about the only exception out of all the agents that he will go a little bit easy on when it comes to missions not going accordingly. He love you to bits and surely made sure that you knew he was serious about your twos relationship

You are not allowed to go on missions with the other Harbingers, Childe is very keen on having you accompany him and only him on missions. He also personally sees to your training because he sees the potential in you and it just seemed like the other agents who are in charge of training don’t seem to up to the level that best benefited you

You get spoiled a lot, he also makes sure to always praise you after any mission or task you do: you had a minor task to go collect a debt? Childe will tell you a job beautifully done. You were away on a big mission that had to do with looking for evidence of the whereabouts of another archon? He’ll tell you how proud he is and how much he loves you. He will make a request the Tsaritsa to bestow a delusion onto you; cuz surely if one of her Harbingers is speaking so highly of someone truly they are worthy of her gift

There was already so much to love about you already but ever since he found out how good you were with his siblings he knew that you were the one for him. He can trust you to look after his siblings to keep them safe since they already know that you are his significant other (but of course have no clue either of you work in the fatui). You two are in Liyue and Teucer suddenly appears out of nowhere: you’re already prepared to take care of and look after the younger brother. Childe just loves how good you are with him and it shows how much Teucer likes you too. Childe only wish that he could marry you the next day (something he says often to you)

Jean:

Needless to say she was distraught when she stumbled upon you speaking in a hushed tone with La Signora in the dead of night in an alleyway during her patrol. She didn’t know what to think but of course she wanted to confront you yet she’d stay hidden and wait till you were alone which didn’t help her spiraling thoughts wondering if you had been with the enemy this whole time and what the two of you had was just pretend to you

The moment the coast is clear Jean will come out of hiding and stand tall with her arms over her chest though the expression on her face does not match the rest of her body language. She knows she should keep this professional without getting her emotions involved, but how could she not when it was you; you were her lover so naturally she can’t help it

You knew you were in trouble as you could have hightailed it the other way, but you knew it would only make matters worse though also even if you had run now you’d have to face her eventually so what was the point. You answered whatever question she asked you; Though Jean did have a slightly difficult time being able to tell when certain replies you gave were possibly a lie. It pains her to have to consider breaking up because she did love you yet how could she love someone that could pose a great threat to her home that she’s sworn to protect; would probably have you put into custody for a while just to fully ensure that you weren’t just a spy or scheming behind the knights of favonius’ back

You of all people did Jean not expect to have such a high standing in the Fatui; you weren’t just some agent to be stationed there, you were a younger sibling of one of the harbingers overseeing everything the agents did. It made everything all the more painful for Jean as she thought she finally found someone who understood her and loved her despite her business along with her flaws, but she started to doubt your relationship. She’d have to take you in for further questioning to see what information you’ve leaked out, but when you made a run for it Jean knew she should chase after you yet… She let you escape, she didn’t want you getting hurt as for this one time will she let you do so; however, if you two crossed paths again unfortunately you’d give her no other choice but to warrant your arrest

Keqing:

She’s surprised at the fact that you’re associated with the Fatui, but of course she’s going to act as if it doesn’t bother her or hurt her in the slightest (though we all know just how badly she’s hurting on the inside). She knew it was too good to be true that you so happened to share the same ideologies and that you got along so beautifully.

She has put so much trust in you that she’s brought you up to the Jade Chamber with her to have peaceful tea time dates a couple of times before its destruction. Yet you made her look like a fool, as even if you never intended to hurt her or betray her, Keqing takes it very personally even if her love for you runs deep

Regardless whether or not you were good of heart that was trapped serving the Fatui or truly was lying about everything and using her that whole time she will coldly cut you off. She’s putting on her tough act saying how she simply cannot love a traitor that has put liyue in harm's way

It’s not until she’s alone or possibly just with Ganyu that Keqing breaks down into tears sobbing over her heartbreak. Nothing hurt more than letting you go, how she wanted to give you that second chance, but she couldn’t let love cloud her judgement, as maybe one day in the future you two could be together, but for now she’d need time to heal though she probably never really gets over you

The things you treasure most are often the last things you look for.

Upon returning to Konoha, Sasuke really had no clue what he would do with himself. His brother was returned to him. Someone he thought forever lost, like all others of his bloodline. Even Obito had perished, and Sasuke thought himself the last pureblood Uchiha left living. And yet...Itachi’s return was one fraught with questions. So few people knew his truth. Knew that it was the elders of Konoha, not Itachi, that had sentenced a distraught and abused clan to death. Should that truth become known...it would likely tear Konoha apart. The other clans would call into question the balance of power. Would they ever be able to raise concerns to the central village government? Or would any semblance of dissatisfaction be met with just as hard a hand as they’d used against the Uchiha?

So...what to do…

But thankfully, they had an out. Debts owed from the Hyūga regarding two of the most key members: Hinata, and Neji. So, it was through them they worked. Eased the other clan into the truth, and their plans to address it. If the Hyūga stayed calm, and led by example, surely the others would do the same. Especially as Sasuke convinced his team to help him address others in their class tied to the other clans. Yamanaka, Aburame, Akimichi, and others.

And somehow...they did it. The council was pressed, surrounded by the clans and forced into a powerless resignation. Never again could ideas of old be implemented. And as Tsunade approached retirement, Kakashi hot on her heels to become Rokudaime, it was clear they were gone for good.

With Itachi’s pardon, maybe - just maybe - they’d have peace.

...but Sasuke knew it wouldn’t last. He and his brother had far too much blood on their hands, regardless of the reason. Those convinced of their guilt will never be persuaded otherwise. But all Sasuke cared about was making sure those coming after them, like Itachi’s son and daughter, would be left blameless.

...yet he knew better.

Of course, the Hyūga wanted recompense for their actions. When little Hanabi - barely a genin by that time - introduced the idea of an alliance, Sasuke balked. The last thing he wanted was another clan lording over what was left of his. But Itachi saw both the logic...and the costs, and ruled it a worthwhile price to pay.

And so...the Uchiha and Hyūga were brother clans once again.

And that...led to a rather interesting friendship.

With a grunt, Sasuke blocks a blow with lifted arms, throwing Naruto back as they spar. It’s a taijutsu only sort of arrangement, as anything more would be, well...catastrophic. Both men need to watch themselves with their post-war powers, after all. So whenever the urge overcomes them to work out a little stress or brooding thoughts, they spar.

Very carefully.

“All right, all right…break time,” Naruto then announces, heaving a bit for breath. Sasuke, opposite him, does much the same, a forearm wiping sweat from his brow. “Phew! Been a while since I worked that hard!”

“I thought you felt a little slow,” Sasuke can’t help but taunt.

“Oi! I was just takin’ it easy on ya!”

“Uh huh…” Hardly convinced, he takes a swig from his canteen. “You’re full of shit.”

“And you’re full of hot air,” the blond scowls, plopping into a sitting position with crossed legs. “T’heck’s gotten you in such a mood, huh?”

“I’m teasing you, dobe. If I really was trying to insult you...you’d know.” It’s still a bit...weird. Acting like this with Naruto. For quite some time after returning, Sasuke found himself unable to forgive the whole of his team for their actions. For ignoring his goals in place of their own, denying him his freedom of choice to accomplish the one thing that mattered to him...and even once learning what Konoha had done to him, still insisting he return and forget vengeance.

His anger with them had burned bright up until the end of the war...and only cooled once they started making it up to him. Namely with their help with the council, but even then forgiveness has been slow to earn. Otherwise, he’s spent nearly all of his time with his family...and, oddly enough, the liaison between his clan and the Hyūga: Hinata. Seems he can hardly get away from her most days, and yet...he doesn’t really seem to mind.

“Yeah, yeah…” Naruto rebukes, pouting as he gets his own water. But the realization isn’t lost on him, eventually losing his bravado. “...kinda nice, y’know. Just...joking with ya. It’s been a while.”

“Yeah, well, there was a reason for that.”

“...I know. And I know it don’t cut it, but...m’sorry.”

Finishing off his canteen, Sasuke sighs. “...at least you’re trying. Not everyone is.”

“...y’know...speaking of which…” Naruto braces an elbow on a knee, pointing to his old teammate. “What’s up with you and Hinata?”

“...what do you mean?”

“You’re, like...always hangin’ around her!”

That earns a deadpan. “...well, given that she and I are often made third wheels to you and Sakura, is that such a surprise?”

“No, I mean beyond that. I’ll see you with her when we aren’t even around!”

“She’s also the one doing rep work between our clans.”

��...uh huh.”

“...what?”

“M’just saying...you two spend an awful lot of time together,” the jinchūriki teases, grinning behind the lip of his canteen.

“We’re not a thing.”

“...you suuure about that?”

“Yes, I’m sure about that,” Sasuke snaps back, throwing his empty waterskin at the blond.

“You mean you haven’t even thought about it?”

“Should I?”

“I dunno, I mean…” Naruto shrugs. “Isn’t there a reason you hang out with her so much?”

“I told you, she’s -”

“Third wheel, clan stuff, yeah yeah...but you’re telling me you don’t see her any other time beyond that?”

“I...that’s not…?” Sasuke, for once, flounders. “...I don’t...know…”

Naruto’s demeanor softens. “...look man, m’not trying to give you a hard time. I just thought she was someone you were, y’know...cozying up to. I was really happy for you, cuz you deserve someone who makes you happy. I mean...Sakura and I are -”

“I know about you and Sakura,” Sasuke cuts in, mumbling.

“...you don’t want something like that?”

“...I don’t know what I want. Look…” A hand brushes back through black hair, clearly irritated. “It’s not so simple for me, okay? I spent...so much of my life practically alone. I didn’t make friends and crap like you did. I didn’t want to. I had one goal, one purpose. I dunno how to do anything like this. During all my years of puberty and when I should have been figuring this stuff out, I wasn’t giving it any thought. I dunno what I’m doing! And -” He cuts off, a flicker of pain dancing across his face. “...why would anyone want to be with someone like me?”

“That’s not -!”

“You see how everyone looks at me. Treats me. To them, I’m just some mindless psychopath. All I ever wanted was to avenge my people…! Yeah, I did some shitty things, but never just for the sake of being shitty! I wanted my clan to get justice! And even now, I dunno if they really have it! But I’m still treated like all I wanted was to watch the world burn, when what I really want is for all of this?” He gestures vaguely. “Everything that led up to that happening? Goes away. Never happens again. But I’m still the bad guy, and you’re mister hero. And the only person who doesn’t seem like that is...is…”

Turning on a heel, Sasuke paces, temper fraying. “...she’s in love with you!”

Shock wipes Naruto’s face clean. “...Sasuke…”

“She might act like she’s not, like she’s moved on, but I see it! I see the pain in her face when she sees you two together! And it kills me! Cuz she deserves better than that, and I’m...I’m worse. And even then…” His voice cracks. “...even then...if she ever saw me...she shouldn’t.”

“...why not?”

“Because being with me would be dangerous. I have a lot of enemies, Naruto. A lot. And I don’t want to drag her into that, even if she’d let me. I couldn’t…” Sasuke’s head bows, suddenly heavy with the weight of the world. “...I couldn’t…”

Naruto hesitates, not...entirely sure how to respond. “...you...you love her, don’t you?”

“...I dunno what that means.”

“Sure sounds like it to me.”

“...and what do I do with that, huh?”

At once, Naruto’s expression hardens. Taking back to his feet, he steps right up to his friend, a hand on his shoulder. “...you fight for it,” he growls. “You think it wouldn’t be safe? Make it safe. You’re the most powerful shinobi in the world, right up there with me. You think you wouldn’t protect what you’re longing for? Sasuke...you said it yourself. You’ve been alone for so long...you’re telling me you don’t want this?”

“...that’s not -?”

“That you wouldn’t fight for this? That’s not the Sasuke I know.” Blues stare into black, unwavering. “...and even beyond that, you’re not alone. You’ve got your friends, and your family. We’re not gonna just stand idly by, man! We’re with you! If this is what’s gonna make you happy - if she’s what you’ve been looking for - go GET her! Don’t hesitate now, not after how far you’ve come! That’s not your style.”

For once, raw emotion is plain on the Uchiha’s face, eyes wide and shaking as Naruto pounds nails into every weak spot. “...I…”

“She’d be good for you,” the blond murmurs. “Hinata, she’s...she’s gentle, and kind, and understanding. She’s also stubborn as hell, and fights for what she believes in, protects the people she cares about! If there’s anyone who could help you learn to love, and learn to live...it’d be her.” His hand gently shoves Sasuke back half a pace, as if in challenge. “...don’t let that go.”

For a long moment, Sasuke fights a thickness in his throat and a burning in his eyes. It’s been quite some time since someone spoke to him like that. Exposed him like that. “...all right,” he croaks, then clearing his throat. “All right.”

“Damn right. Now, here’s what you’re gonna do. Go home, shower, calm down...then go find her. And you tell her everything we just talked about.”

“...and if she says no?”

Naruto grins. “...she won’t. I already know it. Go on! Git!”

Still looking unsettled, Sasuke gives an unsteady nod, taking up his gear and walking a bit dazedly out of the training grounds.

Naruto, left behind, finishes up his water with a satisfied sigh. “...y’did good today, Naruto. Y’did good.”

     OOF, this one was tough. Sasuke almost made me cry, poor guy ;o; He has it rough after the war, but...someone’s gonna make it better for him~      I won’t lie, most of the time I’m not too fond of Naruto...but this redeemed him a little bit in my eyes, lol - he does a lot of growing post-war in ALAS, and this just goes to show it!      Anyway, that’s all for now!
