my name’s vee, i’m 25 and from ohio.  i’ve been writing for so long that i don’t even remember when i started, i just know that i somehow always end up back in tvd verse.

how long has your character been in mystic falls?

she hasn’t been here long.  she only came because she heard that mystic falls was a place with a lot of supernaturals, and she didn’t want to have to hide as much anymore.

what are you excited about exploring abut your character? what au storylines do you wish to do? and any connections you want for your character?

i’m so excited to develop this character.  she can be so fun, i just think that she needs a chance to open up and be around other people like herself.

history of your character? for canons, any details about their life that you are adding in or for ocs, we would like as much detail as possible about your characters!

You people can see what you want on the outside, because I promise you, I’m nothing like you think I am.  Sure you see the pretty little rich girl, who’s only worried about her clothes, and yes, to a point, I’m that girl.  But for one, outward appearances will only get you so far.  Don’t judge me based on my appearance, because you’ll be wrong nine times out of ten.

Here’s the basic story. I was born to Theodore and Miranda Logan, and for obvious reasons I don’t really remember my birth or the first couple years of my life.  I think I’d like to, because as some say, the first few years are the most important.  But anyways, the first thing that I remember is sitting at a table, having dinner with my parents.  I barely had any teeth so I was basically gumming the steak, which if I remember had this distinctive char broiled taste.  I sat there, pushing it around on my plate, trying to soak up the juices, while my father was giving me the most peculiar look, from his seat. His look only caused me to sit up straighter in my chair, gripping my fork in the same fashion that he held his, elbows lifting from the table only slightly, using the fork now, instead of my fingers to eat the meat.  

From that day on, I vowed to do whatever it would take to make my father happy, because I never wanted to have him look at me in that manner again.  That look on his face, would stick with me forever, I knew it, and apparently my father knew it as well, since he’d been the one to look at me like he’d rather have me on the floor, eating out of the dog dish than sitting at the table with him.  If I was even halfway honest with myself, that look of disdain, probably made me want to cry more than anything ever would in my entire life.

Learning at home with my mother was amazing fun, or at least I thought it was.  She taught me everything that I needed to learn so that when I finally went to school, I would hopefully be ahead of the others.  She spared nothing in the teaching, and she made it obvious that no matter what the consequences may be I was expected to be the best at everything that I did.  This would force me to put forth my best efforts to excel in everything.

When I got my letter from the private school, my parents didn’t seem at all surprised, but for me it would be like an entirely new situation.  Someone other than my parents would be teaching me, grooming me as it were, for the real world.  This wasn’t one of my favorite realizations in life.  I would have rather stayed home with my mother to teach me, but apparently this was unacceptable, so with my things in tow I reported to school as was expected of me.

It became a daily regimen of mine to prove to everyone in my class that I was better than them, while the entire time, inside I was always afraid of failing my father.  He was constantly there to tell me what I was doing wrong, and what I should do to improve on these things.  Now, most people would have been embarrassed to have their parents that close to them in a situation where they were supposed to be making new friends, and learning new things.  Not me, my father was nothing to be ashamed of, at least not in my eyes, my mother either.  Together the two of them only forced me to be better no matter who or what got hurt in the process.

I didn’t last long in the private school, I was kicked out for fighting, and my parents were severely disappointed in me.  They had me put into therapy, and I went back to being home schooled for the foreseeable future.  High school was a different story, my parents finally agreed to allow me to attend public high school, and I made some actual friends.

I’m L, and this is Cate, and you should love her just because I said so.  I’m 18+ and in EST. I’m not 100% sure what to say. I’m not totally up to date on TVD/TO/Legacies but I’m here to have fun.

how long has your character been in mystic falls?

about a month. She followed her youngest and got a position at the school teaching psychology so she could both be productive and keep an eye on her kids. She’s very family-oriented.

what are you excited about exploring abut your character? what au storylines do you wish to do? and any connections you want for your character?

I’m excited to see how the whole familial relationship between her, her ex and her kids play out. I will end up wanting to explore some kind of romance because I’m 100% that bitch™ and am a sucker for these things but will go for chemistry rather than hamfisted. I also want to see how she deals with just... teaching kids (even if they’re technically more towards adulthood) and trying to get them to understand psychology. Other than that, RPing it up with everyone and trying to make connections.

I’m really bad at bios as a format, but I can tell you she’s been around for over 600 years and she loves her family. I imagine most of her life was spent just being, and she’s very much the typical idea of a dragon in that she hoards things to excess. She’s been in love, she’s been out of love, but as soon as her kids came along she realized there was more to life than keeping little trinkets and just coasting so now she’s come around to the idea of actually being a parent, looking after her children, and making sure that she and her ex have a good relationship so their children thrive. idk I’m sure I’ll think of more!

Kiyan just recently got into town. He spent the last couple of months just exploring the world before reuniting with his witch again in ol’Mystic Falls. 

WHAT ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT EXPLORING ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER? WHAT AU STORYLINES DO YOU WISH TO DO? AND ANY CONNECTIONS YOU WANT FOR YOUR CHARACTER?

I’m excited to explore Kiyan’s ability to adapt in the human world. He hadn’t been human for very long so a lot of his tendencies are still very sloth-like. I would also like to see the connection he has with his witch, the one who led him to become a human. He’s grateful for the opportunity and I think he’ll probably spend his life trying to repay this debt. 

For AUs, I wouldn’t mind seeing what would happen if Erin wasn’t the one who found him - like I think his personality wouldn’t be how it is now if it had been another witch. 

And as for connections, Kiyan’s pretty much a people person so I would love to see him make friends around town but I also think it’d be hilarious if he managed to snag himself some enemies. In terms of familial connections, I think it would be nice to see him reunite with his sister - possible WC because why not a sloth fam?

BIOGRAPHY

Not much can be remembered from before he became a human. He lived as a sloth for the majority of his life, living life amongst the trees before Erin stumbled into his life. There had been a special bond between the two of them when they first met and unknowingly, Kiyan stuck close to the witch before granted the ability to turn into a human. 

Being new at it, however, adapting to the human way of things was hard for him but he was willing to do everything he could to not cause any trouble for Erin. Shy and cautious as he maneuvered his way through life with her help and eventually, his walls were brought down and out came this playful and curious being - maybe too curious. Perhaps he had been too annoying to deal with that it was suggested that he explored the world to learn more about - well, everything. 

It was only months since he last left, but feeling extremely homesick and grateful enough to be gone for this long already, Kiyan decided it was time to go home. Moving to Mystic Falls was a surprise, but if that was Erin’s decision, then that’s where he’ll be.

katherine has been in mystic falls on and off since season one of tvd, but now she’s come back to try and figure things out for herself.

i’m really excited for katherine to stop running and re-evaluate what her life has been for the past five centuries. she needs to live for herself, have an existence that she can enjoy and try to move on from her past. however, this will be seriously hard for her because of the walls that she’s built. i’d say there’s only a select few characters at the moment who can see the true katerina. it’ll take time for her.

he has been in town for a year or more? i don’t know since he followed his brother and the doppelganger to town in season 2. he did leave for a bit and travel, i would think to check on his daughter and that’s where katherine found him and they started working on the cure hunt together. 

what are you excited about exploring abut your character? what au storylines do you wish to do? and any connections you want for your character?

focusing alot on elijah time without klaus. before tvd klaus and elijah weren’t speaking as elijah believed that klaus had lost it all together and had dropped all their siblings coffins in the ocean to never be found again. he was loooking for the doppelgangers because he know that when klaus broke the curse it would be his chance to kill him. 

like always when klaus showed the smallest of his humanity by saying he still had their brothers and sisters,, elijah couldn’t kill him and they are working on things. elijah is in a place about wanting his own life and not wanting to live by klaus’ rules but also wanting to save his brother. so exploring all that.

i don’t plan to keep the storyline of him killing tatia unless the tatia likes it because i would prefer to go with what is canon to tvd. i’m just kind of rolling with what happens up to tvd season4 and just making up my own headcanons as i go. 

i do like the idea of him having been in a relationship with peral and being responsible for them all being turned.

Nate transferred from GSU after a tragic accident, deciding to come to Mystic Falls to be closer to family and farther away from bad memories. He’s just now getting here.

Pretty much everything. His relationship with Caroline and Madeline, how he deals with the loss he’s dealing with right now, the move from Georgia to Mystic Falls, trying to find a place in the new town -- all of it. Connections I’d love to see for him are some exes, friends, an ex he left back in Georgia -- he broke up with him/her because he was making the move to MF. As for storylines, all of them!

Nathaniel ‘Nate’ Cox is the stepbrother of Caroline and Madeline Forbes. Big brother to Phoebe Cox. 

He was angry about the divorce of his parents, but as time went on he saw they were both happier apart than together. 

I imagine he came out to his dad first -- as they had a pretty close relationship.  He came out when he was fifteen. 

He plays guitar and sings every now and then, did a few sports in middle to high school. Mostly soccer. 

He graduated high school alongside his childhood best friend at the top of his class and went on to GSU.

At first he didn’t want to go to college for a year just to have a break, but decided he’d better get it over with.

He loves college, he’s a big fan of fucking around and going to parties. Even though he goes to parties and messes around -- he’s doing well in his studies. 

He’s kind, always wanting to put people ahead of him to make sure they’re happy. But when he gets mad he gets PISSED. 

Right before sophomore year started, he and his best friend were in a bad accident. The guy who hit them was drunk out of his mind and his best friend ended up dying a few minutes after the crash right before Nate’s eyes. 

Nathaniel sustained some pretty serious injuries and spent the majority of the summer in the hospital. 

During the time in the hospital, Nate worked on getting transferred to Whitmore. Once he was released, Nate moved to Mystic Falls.

literally her whole life. she’s a fell, man. she was born and raised in mystic falls. the fells are a founding family and she was definitely in the miss mystic falls pageant when she was younger. she lost and she’s still a little bitter!! so much work for nothing. she could have gone away for college but nope, she went to whitmore and now she works on campus.

listen. i could not be more excited for the fell family. we didn’t see much from meredith in canon so i’m going to mix tv canon with book canon for her personality which pretty much just means she’s a little more sassy. the fells are witches so that’s exciting!! except... meredith doesn’t practice. usually. sometimes she uses a spell or helps a sibling but she tries to avoid magic as much as she can. but being a witch gave her a little insight into the supernatural side of mystic falls, which is how she got the idea to use vampire blood as a cure all for her patients oops.

i have always loved dragons and i was pretty bummed how little they were explored in legacies canon. i think if done right they could integrate into society so i’m excited to explore that with the rest of the jamesons and any other dragon characters in the group. she’s also half witch though and i love the idea of her having all this magic in such a smol person. she’s going to be a mischievous one.

he was born here, so lots of connections for that!

new character, new ideas. so lots to explore about him. he is going to be from the family that came from silas, so know a little drama there. canon wise there are three forgotten fells girls in Blair Fell, Tina Fell, Valerie Fell . so like i would love them all to be siblings of Jasper just given him like a massive family. he is a triplet because i have no control, so he needs one of them as well. meredith could totally be his aunt if someone plays her, i would love that or even an older sister. it’s kind of unclear all the family ties in the fells like so just going to make them up. i have made him the kid of Tobias Fell who was murdered in an earlier season.

so jasper was born in a massive family in mystic falls. he is one of many kids (maybe 12 cheaper by the dozen style). his father was a fell and a human. hates vampires, founding family all that stuff. his wife, a witch with a much more understanding heart that does keep their magical side from tobias while he was alive because he wants his family to be human.

his dad was killed in September 2010 when the dead were able to return and he was killed by the ghosts of the tomb vampires and hung up in the town. this would have been exactly one year ago now. i feel like he got more into magic after this point. at least the family start openly practicing to learn to protect themselves. 

he was born a triplet (one brother and one sister) and is in the same year as like elena and matt and what not. he is a fun guy, he is a bit of a flirt, he loves girls. because he was a triplet he kind of thing three is the best number. in fact he is coming to the understand that he is into poly relationships but it’s just finding two girls that like him and like each other. not easy. 

he is a little lost at the moment,  the storm that was caused by bonnie when the other side was opened in season 4, a tree fell down and killed one of jasper’s triplet siblings, Alex. that would have been 3 months ago now, he has not been the same over the summer. and in that time i think he has worked out that people want the other side gone and given he knows it would be a good chance to pull someone back from the dead when it was being destroyed. he is going to do whatever he can to get his triplet back.

just a month or so, he moved here so that his youngest go to college and this boy is hell protective.

i would love them to have a sister but also you will find more information about the parents of his kids below that i would love as well.

so flynn was born 1265 with his twin brother to very old and traditional dragons couple who over the centuries has had only a few kids due to dragons being rather slow breeders. they believe that dragons should only be with dragons, that dragons need to look after themselves and are almost above the human world. their parents choosing to live in a cave in the mountains away from people because of this. he takes their lessons to heart believing that dragons should only be with dragons as the more they bred outside their species the less they become. 

because of this he has ‘breeding partners’ who are other dragons that he meets or his parents find and that he makes kids with. very romantic haha of course now it’s the 21st century and he gets to do it with doctors in a hospital. so is that better or worse, who knows?

also i feel like against his better judgement he has fallen for a non-dragon before (like chloe benett please), i would love that kind of plot. like she was his assistant or something and he fell in love with her before he could stop it and then didn’t know what to do. maybe they turned into a vampire and they keep running into each other over the centuries and it’s way angsty.

he likes to train his kids to hit into the human world, unlike his parents because he thinks it makes them better prepared for threats. so he has company's and businesses that he runs and  right now he is at the college to teach his youngest the way of the world. they would be just 18. 

right before coming to mystic falls him, his son and his son’s mother were living in new york city and had been for the last 20 years as they raised ryder.

HOW LONG HAS ELENA BEEN IN MYSTIC FALLS? ;

it’s no secret that elena was born and raised in mystic falls in a similar fashion to generations of gilberts who came before her. many grow restless of small town life, but thus far, even after starting college she hasn’t grown tired of her life in mystic falls, no matter how tiresome the events that transpire within it become.

apart from generally being excited to explore this verse again as well as test my skill as elena, i’m looking forward to playing in the space of an au. i adore aus and making canon-divergent decisions for the betterment of character development or plot. as far as storylines and connections, i’m not looking for anything specific at the moment. of course this is all subject to change, but for now i’m really just ready to hit the ground running, play around, and go from there.

CHARACTER HISTORY

for the moment, there is nothing entirely drastic about elena’s background that I would alter. it’s obviously a headcanon that my elena is bi. i very much so think she wouldn’t figure that out until much later on, around when she’s starting at whitmore and her humanity has returned. i reckon she’s given a lot to think about with that time now being over, she comes to many conclusions as everyone does and her sexuality is one of them. while in the show elena pursues a medical degree, in this au i’d like to see her foster the love for writing she’s always had. as for now, there’s nothing more that comes to mind, but i do have a headcanons tag on my navigation page that i will inevitably add to! I think most important to note is that even as a vampire elena has this deep desire to be normal. since she’s newly turned, her main goal really is to just have a normal experience her first time going through college. as the rpg picks up, we find her at one of many points where she is trying to live as normal of a life as possible.

HOW LONG HAS ELIAS BEEN IN MYSTIC FALLS? 

in my mind, elias is newer to mystic falls and likely only discovered it a few years ago when he began attending college for what was probably the fifth time. i’d like to think maybe there’s a plot point where elias came to mystic falls because he heard world of his family there or maybe even vice versa and that’s why they arrived. that’s moreso something to discuss with the other players, but regardless of that elias is only going on his third year in mystic falls.

CONNECTIONS, STORYLINES, AND WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO

i mentioned a lot in elena’s introduction section i’m excited to play in the space of this au which is still very much true and i think there’s no better way to do that than with an oc. with elias in particular i’m excited to explore the fact that he’s pretty old and also sort of discover what being a dragon-witch is all about for him and what that’s like. as far as storylines go, elias hasn’t really focused on his magic for most of his life. he knows a few nifty tricks, but other than that when in danger he relies on his dragon abilities. i would love to see someone come in and either help train those abilites as a mentor or the exact opposite and have somebody train him to try and use him to their advantage. for now that’s all there is, i know that will change, but currently there’s just a whole lotta excitement.

CHARACTER HISTORY

elias was born in 1761, making him 250 at the time of present canon. that’s really still a baby in dragon years, so he doesn’t feel nearly as old as he is. there are more specifics about his early life i’ll wait to determine until i know more about his familial connections within the group. there’s just so much i already knew so i wanted to get putting it down. i think at some point he did get separated from his family and lived several different lives on his own. in each of those lives he tries to keep both his dragon and witch heritage a secret. that sort of thing scares normal people, and while it’s rare to stumble upon another dragon, he wouldn’t want to face their judgement of his species if he did. being only half dragon, elias doesn’t have the full abilities of one. he can breathe fire, shapeshift, and possesses unhuman strength, but he isn’t entirely durable. yes, he heals at a faster rate but unlike other dragons or full dragons he is vulnerable in more than just his soft spot. as far as his witchcraft goes, he has standard abilities, but hasn’t really fostered the talent. despite all of that and moving lives frequently, he’s kept a trunk of his ‘treasures’ most of it are memories and sentimental treasures, but others are valuable,shiny, and the result of being unable to help himself from taking (he definitely has a problem with stealing). he still has the chest with him at whitmore and he wouldn’t dream of leaving it behind or unprotected without the lock he spelled on it.

overall, elias is definitely more of a man of the people and usually ends up making friends quite well. there’s something charming and compelling about his personality, that’s just who he is. elias is a “good guy” in every conceivable notion of the term. he’s very energetic and enjoys going out of his way to talk and joke around with the people around him. he likes to have  fun, his life has been two-hundred plus years of doing mostly what he wanted and having fun with that. in contrast to that though, he can be very aggressive, protective, and anger quickly. these are all traits that come with being part dragon that he cannot help and if he gets into that state, things can be deadly. additionally, he definitely has a bit of a “too much gene” that can serve him incredibly well or entirely poor. despite trying to be a good guy, one thing that has remained consistent through elias’ two-hundred and fifty years is that even more than his dragon abilities and even more than his magic, he has a real knack for getting into trouble. whether it be him getting caught stealing, fighting, doing something, well anything illegal, or even just being in the wrong place at the wrong time it seems elias is always in some sort of trouble surface level or serious, where elias goes, trouble will find him.

ella is new to town, she just came for the college and maybe to connect with some family like a beautiful bennett

what are you excited about exploring abut your character? what au storylines do you wish to do? and any connections you want for your character?

Ella is an old muse, she is a beautiful little thing.she is all au but really just to get some more bennets in the house and i always wanted to use jessica as a werewolf hybrid too. so like lots of love for that. 

She will know about her werewolf background and where they come from but like she isn’t going to be stupid about wanting to bond with klaus. 

i would love her to have pack mates that are from her mother’s side of the fam, maybe that don’t really like witches haha while also her siblings

so ella’s father is abby bennett’s brother. i am thinking for a little drama he is a siphoner and that’s why bonnie didn’t really know about him because he kept away from his witch family because of their judgement. either way she is bonnie’s cousin but they haven’t met and she has never been in contract with her bennett family after they disowned her dad. she has however come to mystic falls to met up with that side of her family because like that’s what college is for, exploring yourself.

her mother on the other hand is from klaus’ fathers werewolf pack, they know as a pack that they are klaus’ family but like really the rumors about that guy are insane and they aren’t looking to bond, just really hide from him. though not going to lie ella is really into her werewolf side and he is a witch/werewolf like her. so she would want to be all over that. 

she was born and raised in Georgia, living in the same town as Caroline’s step family. so plots for that too.

he was born - as a cat - in mystic falls, but found his witch several years ago so he’s had a human form in mystic falls for a while now and he’s probably not leaving any time soon because his witch is a fell and fells never leave lmao.

listen. familiars are actually my favorite supernatural creatures. i actually have my own lore for them that i’m obsessed with but obviously for the sake of the group i’m going to stick to whitmore-hq canon. i’m hella excited to explore the dynamic of sawyer and his witch, but also other relationships and seeing how he fits into the mystic falls world.

like all others who come from founding families, valerie was born and raised in mystic falls. it’s only natural that she continue her education in town as well.

more fells! i’m obviously stoked to be in this group as a whole, but i know i’m on the same page as ceej is with jasper. i’d love more fells. in this canon they’re a pretty big family so that’d be cool! other than that, my excitement is pretty generalized.

CHARACTER HISTORY

valerie fell has had a very happy life in most regards. of course, there were the occasional clashes with her father, drama at school, and boy troubles, but overall she has lead a good life. she often found solace in her mother,siblings, and practicing magic beneath her father’s nose. most of all she grew up very close with the other two that completed the triad of triplets. not that it makes a difference, but val takes great pride in being born first of the three fell triplets. due to coming from such a large family, valerie is largely dependent on other people. she tries her hardest to act like she isn’t, but if anyone takes a close enough look it’s clear she relies heavily on other people. her brother, jasper, in particular. since their other triplet, alex passed away, they have grown exponentially closer to one another. it’s been hard on the both of them since the three were entirely inseparable. before alex’s death, valerie was a pretty girl who was well-liked in school and that was about all there was to her from a surface level. since his passing she has become increasingly outspoken. bold. and daring. she will stand up for herself and her family at any cost. much like her brother jasper, she’s entirely willing to use her powers to aid silas and get alex back. even though she’s trying to move forward and attend school, she largely feels like a part of her is missing.
