2. Do you prefer illness whump or injury whump?

It depends. I like both equally for different reasons. Illness is nice, cause you can have a delirious Whumpee, covered in sweat, burning up and absolutely hating existence. Injury is great cause they are broken and battered and they have to wait to heal, and are more likely to be doped up on pain med which is funny.

16. Do you have any whump media recommendations (whump blogs, books, movies, etc.)?

@i-eat-worlds is great and they have awesome characters

@fallenwhumpee always has an interesting story or a new way of telling an old trope

@whumpprentice always has great memes and jokes

As for media, TMNT. Any version. The 2007 movie is esp whumpy, the 2003 and 2012 tv show are pretty whumpy as well.

Chicago fire and Chicago med have some good whumpy moments, lots of CPR and injury whump. Cruz and Dr Choi are my favourites to see get fucked up cause theyre always really whumpy scenes, so much fainting and invasive medical procedures!

Idk I’m just talking about tv I like now ahahha

WHUMP DICE!!!

Saw this post about combining whump tropes and just knew I had to make a little tool for it!

While not dice in a "traditional" sense ( would have loved an actual rolling animation) this acts as a pair of dice with ( so far!) 15 faces!! So you click roll and get two tropes to mix and match as you please! Feel free to drop suggestions in my dms, ask box, or the tags for this!!!

Thinking about an absolute flirt of a character, the most suave, charming bastard you could ever imagine coming down pathetically, pitifully sick. And refusing to acknowledge it / let it show because it's so polarizing from their usual attitude it just feels wrong. bonus points if it backfires horribly
