Creatives wanted, more alive than dead..
• What excites you in the design and creative communities you are investigating?
Learning the current design trends that are becoming successful, and discovering how to incorporate these ideas into my own work, to become successful in the future.
The use of bright colours, custom fonts, patterns and textures that relate personally to each designer, and the fact that a deeper cultural or social meaning can be held within a colour, shape, word, font, illustration. Learning what is behind every idea, what it means and is promoting, and why.
Nowadays, design can be anything, there is no right or wrong, and designers are embracing this acceptance, creating things so different or out there that they might not make a lot of sense (because they don't have to!) The idea that your own design can cause viewers to really stop and think, or even use their imagination to decide what it might mean, really fascinates me and pushes me to challenge my own design style and think about what I am next going to create.
• Who would you want to share a meal with?
Lucas Grassmay
When investigating NZ and international designers, I have discovered a wide range of design work that appeals to me. I may have seen a piece of their work on Pinterest, saved it to a board, but not investigated it further. Now I am able to put a face to some of these pieces and discover more of their work. An example of one of the designers whose work I had seen some of before, but only just put a name to, is Lucas Grassmay. The combination of photography, colours, texture, and type that he incorporates into his work, flows together really nicely to create something bold, colourful and inviting. The balance of vintage and modern style behind his work is really interesting, as well as his use of image/photography in type. The opportunity to talk with him and learn how he creates his work and what influences his ideas, would be really beneficial and interesting to my own design process in the future.
• Who would you want to work with?
Siyana Studios
I love their unique and modern design style. Based around rap and streetwear culture, which I am passionate about - their designs emulate this to create beautiful and eye catching posters. The big and bold use of font, combination of vibrant and neutral colours, photography, collage and texture/grain inspire me, and I would love the chance to work with them to inspire and improve my own design work.
I again love the balance they have created to give both a vintage and modern feel to their work, making it different to the current trends in design.
• Who would you want to mentor you?
Studio Akin (Tana Mitchell and Emma Kanuik)
They have partnered to create a are influential and successful NZ Design business (Studio AKIN).
AKIN is a strategic design studio focused on creating engaging, seductive and effective brand solutions that grab people’s attention and hearts.
They have also created designs for many brands/ products that I recognise or have purchased from, and found to be really appealing and inspiring creatively. (eg, North & South magazine, The Lula Inn, Longboys, Dirty Water, Clean collective, All Good, Rinse, New World, Eco Store, and Oob ice cream).

So in the middle or writing something else, I had an intrusion of thought about one of the components.
My favorite book on Universal Patterns of Story is Save the Cat! but I was also looking at my demoted second favorite, 20 Master Plots and how to build them by Ronald B Tobias and it occurred to me that they really ought to fit together. So I started fiddling with them and I think I kinda see something a little different from either but which is also clearly the same thing.
There's a cluster that is about Equations of Power STC!'s Super Hero, A person is blessed with talent and power but cursed to suffer an achilles heel (usually separation from the society they wish to keep) so they have to choose which to let win. which is when the power is really on the protagonist's side.
STC!'s dude with a problem. Average, competent person has to face huge problem. Protagonist is fine in power, it's just that the problem is so big.
Tobias' Rivalry. Equal powers in competition for one goal.
Tobias' Underdog. Protagonist is not up to the match but tries to compete for the mutually exclusive goal anyway.
Tobias' Sacrifice. Protagonist volunteers themselves and what is dearest to them in exchange for a success they will not be able to enjoy. The Protagonist's only power is in their abnegation of power.
All of those really are about power and how it balances.
Next cluster is trapped. There's social traps, physical traps, and traps for the soul but they all come down to the protagonist is trapped in a space with something terrible that they can't get away from until they deal with the fundamental nature of the trap, WHY they are trapped.
Snyder - Institutionalized. A person’s struggle for individuality vs being part of the group. Social trap. Tobias - Escape:  Confined against their will, the character tries to escape. Physical trap. Tobias - Rescue:  The Protagonist goes out and steals something that the Antagonist has stolen. Physical trap but for someone else. Breaking in instead of breaking out. Tobias - Pursuit:  One person chases another.  The chase is more important than the people. The trap follows you, no escape. Snyder - Monster in the House. The MC is locked up with something that imperils their life and soul. Spiritual trap, no way out until you discover and deal with your sin. Tobias - Revenge:  Retaliation against the antagonist for real or imagined injury. Inability to let being trapped go, continue to pursue it, trying to metaphysically free self from the trap. Tobias - Temptation: A mostly internal struggle between a Protagonist’s desires and their moral code. Carry the trap with you and know your sin well, the task is figuring out how to free yourself from the trap when it is that good.
Again, all about being trapped with something that will destroy you unless you figure out how to come to terms with it.
Questing These are the heroes journey plots Tobias - Quest: A character searches for something, tangible or intangible. Snyder - Golden Fleece. The MC needs to go on a journey with some allies to get something. Tobias - Adventure:  The character goes in search of fortune, the focus is the journey itself.
That's Just Life, you have to change cluster, is that life is hard and you have to just change what you are to meet it, or die really. Snyder - Rites of Passage. Certain events are just part of the experience life, that doesn’t make them any easier to deal with when someone has to look inside themselves and just deal. Tobias - Maturation:  The Coming of Age from an innocent or child into an experienced or adult. Tobias - Transformation: Slice of life around a dramatic change from one life state to another where the protagonist is recognizable as a “different person.”
I feel like in this one in particular, Snyder got it, and Rites of of Passage really is the best term.
Abnormality teaches about Normality Snyder - Out of the Bottle. The MC gets a wish, or gets cursed, and learns the value of a normal life. Tobias - Metamorphosis:  A character is literally transformed into something else. As much about why they deserve it as the physical transformation.
Really, Snyder gets it right again here. Metamorphosis is just a specific sub-type of OOB
Love, all kinds, But Snyder - Buddy Love. Romance / Friendship, every story fundamentally about learning to be together. Tobias - Love:  A meets B and it would be great BUT… So A&B try to overcome that BUT. Tobias - Forbidden Love:  As Love. The BUT is that at least one is unpalatable to the other’s society.
I feel like they're all subtypes of Tobias, here. Buddy love is where the BUT is the character's ignorance of how to co-exist. Forbidden Love is clearly a subtype of Love. It's that but that really encompasses it all. Even A Boy and His Dog plots where the But is that Dogs don't live as long and they can't do all the things a human can, and other people don't respect your dog.
Mysteries Tobias - The Riddle:  Protagonist and reader must solve an enigma that is occluded by the plot. Snyder - Whydunit. Mystery where the deepest secret is WHY the crime happened at all. Tobias - Discovery: The character seeks understanding of themselves. As Riddle but mystery is the inner life of the investigator.
Sorry, WHY is a great mystery but it's just not the only mystery.
Power to rise and the weakness to fall Tobias - Ascension / Descension:  How a Protagonist’s personal character drives their rise from rags to riches (Ascension), their fall from grace to privation (Descension), or both their rise and fall. Snyder - Fool Triumphant. A Fool doesn’t realize their power to change lives or the consequences of their unbridled success. Tobias - Wretched Excess:  A relatable Protagonist is cast out from the center of society and must endure the fringes of society beyond what most are willing to consider acceptable. The essence of this plot’s power is the belief of the reader that this could possibly happen to them.
Wretched excess is a way of Descension. Fool Triumphant is particular twist on the rise and fall. Ascension/Decension, actually two different plots, but malleable describes it all best
Which gives me 8 instead of ten.
If that is of any use :/ Which it may not be. Mostly Snyder’s 10 work for me. It’s really Trapped where I feel there is weakness. Revenge is such a blatant there thing it needs some kind of direct address. But it’s also too narrow to be it’s own I feel like. So... I dunno. As ever.

@erudite-rebel (oob’s got long so here’s Tai’s)
1) my muse’s initial impression of yours
Qrow thought he was overly bright, bubbly, and positive, which was really grating and Too Much for an overwhelmed kid like Qrow was on his first day. That was definitely a reason why Qrow’s attempt at lifting Tai’s wallet off of him failed so spectacularly.
2) my muse’s favorite physical attribute of yours
Big man, big strong arms and big strong chest.
3) my muse’s favorite personality attribute of yours
It took a while for Qrow to realize that that positive, optimistic attitude and that gentle, caring nature were sincere, but once he accepted that about Tai, it quickly became one of his reasons to stay around the man.
4) a moment that made my muse realize how much they care about yours
Qrow picked up coffee and got Tai’s order just because he knew that Tai would probably want some too. When he handed the cup to Tai, he got such a bright smile in return that it set his hear a-pounding. Even Qrow wasnt dense enough to not realize that he’d caught some feelings that he hadnt expected.
5) something my muse never found the words to say to yours
There’s a lot that Qrow has wanted to say but has never had the words to express. He’s always kind of worried that Tai doesnt really know the depth of Qrow’s feelings towards him.
6) something my muse wishes they had never said to yours
Of course, everything that Qrow ever said drunk. Some of their fights over Qrow’s drinking got nasty, and Qrow knows that he said a lot of things that he shouldnt have.
But Qrow also regrets having to be the one to break news to Tai, first that he couldnt find Raven, but had a feeling he knew where she’d gone, and knew that there was no coming back. And the news about Summer. He dreads telling Tai about Yang and Ruby.
7) something your muse does that makes mine feel safe
Everything about Tai makes Qrow feel safe. Living with Tai was the first stable, safe home environment that Qrow has ever actually lived in.
8) something your muse does that makes mine smile
Tai’s open and honest affection.
9) something my muse wants to protect yours from
Qrow never ever wanted to put Tai through another loss. He spent his entire career out hunting the forces of darkness and risking himself just so that Tai and his girls  could live in a safer world. It never once occurred to him that risking himself could, in fact, force Tai to go through another loss.
10) ways my muse says ‘i love you’ without saying those words
Making sure that Tai ate and got out of bed at least once or twice when his depression acted up and made Tai a lump.

Mechanics of Playing the Game:
------------------------------
Philosophy, goals, conversations:
The hope of the Vambrace RPG is to provide a small open world contained within a single kingdom. Story events are set in motion but designed so your Game Master and the choices of players lead to any number of conclusions.
The non player characters in the game world have their plans and can be considered to execute those plans as best they can in time. Choose to help, hinder or ignore as you see fit.
The Game Master need only read through this guide and use what they think will make for the most fun.
The scale of detail is intended to be able to play the whole story in one session if desired.
The combat should be quick and plentiful but also avoidable if desired.
The social interactions are intended to be as simple as you'd like but with little details that can be used in the form of G & S.
Using NPC G(global) and S(secret):
The various non player characters provided have information about them divided into two types.
The G can be used to setup their initial relationship to the Players.
It is recommended to give the G quickly and freely.
The S is intended to be used for those situation where the Players want to dig deeper, investigate or turn the tables.
It isn't necessarily important for the players to do anything special to access the S info, but they should show some curiosity at least. You can decided to have players perform tests of Honour, Cunning or Glory to learn S info.
HNR, CNG, GLY tests:
When you want to define a task the players wish to accomplish that is difficult and uncertain of success, why not have them perform a test of one of their stats with as logical a connection as you desire.
To TEST: Roll a die (d6) and get less than or equal to your stat.
Example:
Ezlo is going to lie to someone. The GM decides a CNG test is required. Ezlo rolls a d6 and needs 3 or less to succeed because Ezlo has 3 CNG. If intimidation was required, why not a GLY test then... oops Ezlo has 0 GLY!
When using certain skills in combat, the skill effect can be applied as long as the test is passed in the same fashion as in the example above.
Combat:
Follow turn order of actions based on initiative. Let the Players go first on ties if you want.
In combat there is no grid or hex.
Characters are either considered in Melee (arms reach) or at Ranged (at a distance).
Under normal circumstances, the rules of combat dictate that you can't perform Ranged actions/attacks when already in Melee.
You have one action per combat turn. Moving counts as an action (but the Charge skill lets you move into Melee and then attack).
ATTACKS always HIT ! You do not need to roll to hit.
Any skill used in combat can basically be used each combat turn. Each skill is an action. If you want to use two skills at once like some super attack... consider having that be an advanced skill that requires a level up or an added test.
Fight to KO. The GM should decided how a fully KO group of Players is dealt with by their opponent. Even in the event of death, consider that there is a Lich about and you'd be very useful agents for the undead. Go with it and have fun. Also if the Players are prone to no mercy, maybe bring back characters later in an undead form.
*****for the Game Master****SPOILERS
<--------->
The Adventure:
<--------->
Now an intro sequence (with a full spoiler guide to the open world), followed by character creation. Only read this next part if you are going to host the adventure (GM), otherwise skip to character creation*.
You wake up to find yourself cold and muddy, you've been injured (d6 temporary physical crippling until well rested) by the so called mercenary soldiers who should be protecting this land. All that you can remember is having to run. It looks like when you did, you made it as far as the hilltop that overlooks the village you were in during the attack. Looking back you can see that right now the village is on fire, the mercenaries are gone, and you might be the only survivor(s).
<damage guide from injuries>
1 = black eyes (you look roughed up)
2 = shallow cut across the chest (you can't lift or climb well)
3 = swollen hand (difficult to use your hands)
4 = limp (difficult for you to run)
5 = loud ringing in the ears (hard for you to hear)
6 = stutter (hard for you to speak)
What do you do?

KEY
---
H = the hilltop (overlooking the village at the start)
o = ocean
C = cliff
f = forest
r = road
(V) = village
B = beach
M = Mountain
(C) = castle of the king
---
Things to know about the lay of the land from the start:
- To the far north is a giant mountain range
- The "H" is the starting point - the hilltop
- The "(V)" in the south has a port
- The "(V)" in the north has a coliseum
- The castle of the king is built into the side of the mountain
------------
To discover:
------------
- The cliffs (W,E,S) all contain various outcast alchemists who will help the heroes with Special Traits (Alchemy).
- The big forest next to the mountain contains ranger outcasts who know how to cross the mountains.
- The beach to the west is occupied by friendly travelling musicians (small boats) who will transport the heroes the the south village or anywhere along the coast
- The north west forest has an old opera house inhabited by Vampires
- The south west forest has a giant dead tree filled with big spiders (and crazy loot)
- The north part of the big forest is occupied by The sleeping Lich and his skeleton army
- The south part of the big forest is occupied by magic wolves
--------------------------------------------
What the GM needs to know to tell the story:
--------------------------------------------
- Most of the people living *normal* lives in the Kingdom are Old, Young or have completed their military service(and are a little funny in the head too). Others have connections and work for the MAN; official.
- The King has gone missing and the mercenaries are trying to find him desperately. But the mercenaries don't know the was sick before he went missing.
- The King been turned into a werewolf by the Lich (who now sleeps to recharge his magic before returning to take back the castle throne).
- The actual army is off on a Campaign in another kingdom.
- The Chancellor sits on the throne reluctantly... hiding with the royal guard in the castle...3
- The sickness of the king was kept secret, only the alchemists, the chancellor and the royal guards have knowledge of this event.
- The alchemists were cast out by the chancellor for fear that they had poisoned the king.
- The alchemists can cure the king if any 3/4s of their formula is reunited and the king is found (1/4 spider venom [south cliff], 1/4 vampire bone [west cliff], 1/4 Fungoid Spore [east  cliff], 1/4 Magic Wolf hair [pro-undead priest in the port city knows this]). If 4/4 parts of the formula are used, the Lich's curse can also be removed.
- The King (in big wolf form) runs around the countryside at night and sleeps in the mountains above the castle in a cave during the day.
- The rangers have lived in the forest for many years undetected, they avoid a mandatory military service.
- No ships are in the port because they are all being used by the army.
- The warriors of the colosseum are exempt from military service.
- A PC's base trait will determine their knowledge of the land:
Young (knows about the musician caravan boats to the west),
Old (knows the geography of the country by heart, and can draw a map from memory),
Outcast (knows the location of the outcast hideout in the forest),
Mercenary (knows that the attack was caused by an insanity spell, has also been in battle against vampires and a werewolf but these monsters always escape capture or death),
Lone Wanderer (knows that, at this time, there is no way to leave the Kingdom; no ships, impassable mountains)
- In the South Village there is a Church that is going to elect a new leader. Either a priest that is pro-undead or anti-undead. But which is which?
- The Church is evenly divided in clergy, each with their own agenda.
- The Port Authority is trying to find the smugglers hideout.
- The Smugglers are selling wares at super high prices (They can be persuaded to lower their prices through intimidation or other tactics).
- The Queen would probably return once the players think the campaign is at its end and engage in the final showdown (depending what has happened so far, allies, choices, etc.)

dantalion - all of the following original info is from (here) and i’ll just end up making references to this (I ALREADY HAVE PAST ME and i put a small edit there but, everything else?? solid. but i mean the version of dantalion i play as??? won’t mention any of these because he does what he wants so all of this, for the most part. he should because this is a great resource if there’s just not enough lore about solomon’s lesser key demon!!eventhoitsnotofficialbutilikeit) so my commentary is [like this]
“Who is Dantalion you may well ask… and it shall be answered” (…)
Dantalion - Spirit of knowledge, empathy, passion, love, emotions/intellect, Demon of mind.
Abilities (Generally, he can teach you everything that each human in this world has thought about or known, but of course these are his main job)
He knows thoughts of all people and can change them at his will - and also can teach you how to do this (also telepathy) [time lords are perfect hosts]
He teaches all art & sciences (ya know this before, but I wanted to classify it) [time lords are perfect hosts, specifically prydonians/patrexes]
He teaches how to achieve alternative states of consciousness (OOBE, Lucid dream, higher states, past life reading, hypnosis etc.) and he can accompany you during them. [time lords are perfect hosts.]
He can help you open astral senses or knowledge of something that you want to know (but better be ready, cause your brain may take a break for a really long moment…) [time lords are perfect hosts!]
Teaches persuasion, manipulation, lies, flirt, good speeches, relations, mind control, generally all social skills. [time lords are perfect hosts!!!!!!]
He can heal/or help you with low self-esteem, negative thoughts, neuroses, depression, other coded wounds in the subconscious. [time lords are perfect hosts: missy vault scene? just eps centered around bill’s mind?]
He can suddenly put in a state of deep peace and relaxation, and show you how to do this with your mind (He also knows a word which makes your mind calming down). [time lords are perfect hosts: see episode LISTEN]
He shows similitude of any person including your person (it’s for empathy skill, when you want to more understand others or people you may like) [time lords are perfect hosts: any new who and yes, shalka is new who fight me]
He can cause love or other emotions (but remember, it’s not like someone who never knew you will love you automatically, but he/she will have more positive thoughts/attitude towards you) [this why he hates it]
Causes obsession, illusions, fear or hallucinations. [this is fun to him]
Causes lust (No, he’s not a nerd who is sitting on the armchair and reading his book with a moral look of your catholic aunt. He knows what is sex and he knows it very good) [WELL OK THEN]
Finds persons similar to themselves and causes them to unite (even if your other half is in the beyond) [time lords are perfect hosts: see the introduction of missy/danny pink arc]
Knows secrets (knowledge, but not only) and reveals secret councils. [all those secret councils??? he’ll expose if you bad.]
Can show you other aspects of your personality and makes you more charismatic/or who you want to become. [time lords are perfect hosts: that entire rose arc and no, the moment is not part of that arc. sorry! but, the moment herself said she aint rose tyler. so technically she took the form of the first incarnation of the TARDIS’ heart, second being 9th (in books she took the form of war doctor) and 3rd being idris (involuntarily)]
Causes people not paying attention to you ( so you can secretly work) [time lords are perfect hosts: the earth not knowing the doctor/timelords exist plotline...I MEAN]
Preferences (you probably saw lots of other planets/elements/zodiac assigned to him and you were wondering what’s going on - these depends really on aspects, that’s why I mentioned a few, best suited to his nature)
Zodiac - Pisces(venusian), Aquarius (saturnian) Planets - Venus/Moon, Saturn [and this is why dantalion knows venusian aikido] Elements - Water/Air (perfect harmony between the intellect and emotions) Number - 9 [he think he funny w/ that upside down 6. he aint] Quarter - North (north gate) Time - Night time/morning (generally before noon) Color - Gray, red, purple, green, (dark green or dark purple) blue, black. [can you believe that i sure didn’t know about this until i stumbled on this??? a muse meant to be OKAY!!! all those years rping and i was guessing oN A WHIM??? that demon must have told me: do me justice because !!! ] Candle color - Green, purple, generally dark shades (u can also use white) Tarot card - 9 of chalices. Stones - Pearl, emerald. King - Paimon (he’s one of his dukes) [note: formally]
Offerings Raspberries, cherries, tea, honey, whisky, classy wine, flowers - dandelions, roses (especially with passionate colors - he’s a romantic guy) nuts, your love.
Scent - Sandalwood, honeysuckle, jasmine, rose petals.
Appearance Usually shows up as a robed man with women’s and men’s faces and with the book in his right hand (sometimes replaced with a mirror). But he’s a shape-shifter, so he can take any other form. This spirit can look like a man you may personally know (or not) or even he may look like you. You can also see him as a black cloaked figure, black mist with eyes, gray cloud or floating face. He usually appears as a tall and slim man, in style of gentleman or businessman. ( I (the author) usually see him as a man dressed in dark robes with pale skin, black long hair decorated with jewels tied back and with crown) [TALL SLIM MAN ok sure]
Voice Most often dark and deep. Can also be as whispers or male and female alternating voices. Often speaks quite poetically (but he also knows nice slangs) [thanks 15.ai!Tenth Doctor. you right on the money]
Energy (how to recognize) His energy is very strong, focused and deep. You can feel the multidimensional planes of his being and it’s very characteristic. It is very penetrating, surrounding you from all sides and you may feel like your mind is a bit underwater. Generally, his energy is quite psychedelic and the effects are different. After, you may feel on high (like after good marijuana) have a headache or just feel weird. If you look closer, you will also feel great calm from his essence. [time lords are perfect hosts: the matrix]
Personality Just remember one word - COMPLEX. You will never really know how he will behave, because he’s like chameleon - he adapts to people, situations and places. For one, he will be a nice guy full of heat, and for another a dark tricky spirit. He may look cold and serious at the beginning, associated with his “knowledge aspect” (air) but he’s also very emotional spirit. He’s impulsive, determined and it’s quite easy to offend him. He has these two aspects connected (intellect/emotions) with whom empathy and healthy thinking can exist. If he behaves quite dark/annoying/arrogant that’s usually because he wants to protect himself (it was a bit like empath complex - the most openhearted and sensitive people are used by others the most) So he seeks balance and tests people. In reality, he’s a very generous spirit, patient and forgives quite quickly, but also he trusts hard and always needs control (he must see everything).
Dantalion is a spirit who is focused on human bonds, so you may see him talking about ethics/morals or knowledge which opens people to the truth about their nature - that people are the same. We will always be individualists but our needs are very similar - we want to be loved, appreciated and satisfied with our actions. People may create stereotypes, hierarchy, determinants of coolness but no human will create your face and never see through your eyes.
Dandelion (sounds familiar to Dantalion, it’s not a coincidence) is a symbol of this unity. Seeds of this plant may flew away with the wind but they’re still a part of this plant with which they have formed the whole before.
Tips for working
Take it slow. This spirit can make you very obsessed (u feel these nights when you were searching the entire internet to find him and you didn’t know why?) [AHAHAme] Look through your thoughts and set your clear goal - if you want to find him try invoke him or meditate, but don’t rush. Follow your goal not obsession. Dantalion will not run away from this world.
If you want to start relationship with him, prepare for patience again. At the beginning he’s formal, cold and not very emotional. He must find a place for you and adapt. (he’s a real thinker) Show the heart, he will show it too.
Get ready for a tests - he can test your intellect or your transparency in thinking.
Speak directly. He has sense of humor, don’t worry, but sometimes he takes words a bit too literally…[he do tho]
He doesn’t like work alone. If you’re this type and you prefer sit and wait when the spirit will end all his work, this may take a long time (except when these aren’t big things, then no problemo) Otherwise, He may start to make sure you’re still planning to pay him, and everything will be slower. (He non stop must watch what’s going on)
He usually works quick but he sometimes has a several episodes when he’s a bit more limited (idk maybe he has this delegation again) and he answers for a few days. Just wait 3-4 days and if nothing happened try again.
As I said before, it’s easy to offend him. He has big ego. Know your way and know what you want but unnecessary words can cause an awkward atmosphere. Get upset, but continue anyway with determination. Let it be rational and intelligent talk.
Other asks
When you did invocation/prayer and you don’t feel his presence that doesn’t mean he wasn’t there. He usually sees everything with his eye and even he may already work with you but you don’t feel it consciously. He likes working behind the curtain.
Sometimes he acts weird and unexpected. People do strange things, your cat began to like him more than you, one time he wants to talk and the other he prefers to sleep, he walks on the wall, whispers strange things and this day he prefers eat pizza than classy alcohol. Can encourage you to play. It’s just his complex nature. [yep]
He’s not a demanding spirit. Just give him something from your heart or what you think is valuable.
He’s a good guardian when it comes to safety with people.
This spirit has equal gender. Dantalion is both female and male. Here I prefer call him “he” because that was my experience and this spirit’s attitude. [time lords are perfect hosts]
Dantalion is a djinn, demon, fallen angel, dark angel - he’s everything. Name as you want. [he prefer demon/fallen angel because he was an angel]
He may look nice and with good heart but he also HATES. He really gets pissed off and can destroy your life very hard when you think you shouldn’t give him what have you promised earlier (and then there’s no empathy at all …) [time lords are perfect hosts: i did make vin his host for a time for a reason...didn’t think that i end up being true to that character......]
He’s [used to be] a very loyal boy if your work was successful. He can come back to you even after a year without contact.
His attributes/symbols are - eyes/eye, faces, crown, books, the speaker, the judge, Judge’s stuff of high social rank, scepter, psychedelic waves/smoke, dandelions, brain, mask, mirror, water, clouds, the priest (absolutely not about religion but more about education and speaking to people) [EMOJIS]

🏆 Gun and a Hotel Bible 🏆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This film will win many awards, it’s fantastic!!!Screening at regal Cinemas at LA LIVE Saturday November 9th, theater number 8, 300 seats.This is an amazing film, Character driven, Exciting, Provocative and well written, the actors portrayal of their characters is exemplary, Our reviewers are absolutely at odds with each other right now as a large group of us just watched it as a submission to Film Fest La, it provokes conversation unlike any other film submission we have seen in three years, it has us arguing, debating, cringing, agreeing, disagreeing, and many other emotions flowing in the room, Edward was speechless for a few minutes too!!!, A few of us hated it due to ideology, but loved it too due to the content creating conversations....It's a must see and we are proud to say it is a top choice from our festival staff.www.GunandaHotelBible.comGun and a Hotel BibleNOTE: The original play was titled Gun a and Motel Bible. Motel was changed to Hotel for the film.Gun And A Hotel Bible is a provocative dialogue between a man on the verge of a violent act, and a personified Hotel Bible. Spend one hour in a desperate man's life as Pete comes "face-to-face" with everything he once believed in. Gideon (being, ya know, a Bible) doesn’t get out much. Still, he has plenty to say... but Pete’s heard it all before and he's more than ready to spar with the “Word of God.” As ideas about morality, the Bible, and God fly, the clock ticks. Gideon and Pete battle and bond as they are forced to deal with their inadequacies. Can Gideon sway Pete before Pete pulls the trigger?Bradley and Daniel have been writing and performing together for the better part of a decade. They have always bonded over good stories and good story telling. In the fall of 2017, Bradley (a big Beatles fan) pitched Daniel the idea of writing a play using a Gideon’s Bible as a character – an idea he got when listening to the Beatles’ song “Rocky Raccoon.” Eight months, several drafts, and dozens of philosophical discussions later, they brought on Alicia Joy LeBlanc to help bring the story to the stage. After an award-winning run at the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival, Embrace Entertainment greenlit the feature adaptation of the story: Gun and a Hotel Bible. Daniel and Bradley bring their differences, doubts, and deep friendship to the fore as they slug out the question: “Why do we believe what we believe?” Follow, Like and share social media sites: Instagram: instagram.com/gunandahotelbible/ Twitter: twitter.com/GunHotelBibleWords can’t describe how invested I was in Gun and a Motel Bible. As I was walking out of the theatre and to my car, a random stranger sparked a conversation with me asking me what show I had seen. I told him what I saw and his face lit up, indicating that he saw it to. We spent the rest of our walk analyzing the show. Major props to Bradley Gosnell for not only starring in it, but also being one of writers behind it. Fantastic job!! – Jake Mouchawar“An intriguing concept smartly delivered. Basically a fractured man’s debate with his forsaken faith, as the clock ticks down to a life changing act. The taut writing crackles with emotional intelligence and, given the concept, surprisingly organic comedy. Those with some scriptural familiarity will undoubtedly nod along with the inherent contradictions that are raised and debated, while those less scripturally inclined (like myself) need not worry. The play does all the work for you. It is not interested in delivering winners and losers, or even a faith-based message per se. It simply asks you to take the journey with these two characters who are impossible not to root for. Gosnell and Floren (who are also the playwrights) display razor sharp timing and, given how familiar they must be with the material, remarkably urgent, just-now deliveries. Floren’s cheerfully overeager, Mormon-on-the-doorstep enthusiasm brings levity at first, then a forceful flaws-and-all testament of faith as the ultimate healer, then finally pleaful desperation as the proverbial clock is about to run out. As the man with a dark plan, Gosnell does the emotional heavy lifting with nuance and humanity, wisely resisting the urge to play things too wrought or twitchy. It’s a performance that allows the audience to see the decent guy he must have been, punctuated by sudden outbursts of raw anger, betrayal, and self-reflective emotional reckoning. It all happens so seamlessly, it’s easy to lose sight of the high wire act these actor / playwrights have pulled off. LaBlanc makes the most of a spare, one room set. No movement wasted. Nothing false or forced. Never too little or too much. Tech work is solid. At a brisk 50 minutes, this one act journey is the best hour I can recall spending away from the smart phone in a long time.” -Baily Walker“I saw this play twice and I hope I get the chance to see it again! First thoughts…. what brilliant writing! The play has such a simple premise, but through that premise the characters take us on a complex journey of understanding what makes and justifies a moral code. At the beginning I was quick to choose my side between the characters, but just about halfway through… I couldn’t pick a side anymore as I found myself rooting for both of them. And what beautiful performances! The chemistry between actors Bradley Gosnell and Daniel Floren really brought the story to life. Their genuine/honest performances were a rollercoaster ride. One moment I was laughing out loud and just a minute later my heart was breaking. The direction was fantastic and the energy throughout the play took the suspense that was set up in the premise even further. Seeing it a second time gave me a chance to appreciate it even more, catching small details I missed the first time around. I hope to have the chance to see Gun and a Motel Bible again, share it with some friends, and I look forward to what the collaborators of this show come up with next.” – Ashton Avila“What a treat! Witty, intelligent, and refreshingly original, without isolating the audience (a tough feat when one of the characters is a BOOK!) I was laughing out loud while wrestling with my own moral dilemmas as the characters’ confronted theirs. These two talented actors bring you into some powerful and heavy debates that leave you teetering right on the edge of reason and insanity. Congrats to director, writers, and crew… it was my favorite fringe show this year!” -Ana Zimbart“This short but engrossing play was impressive on so many levels. The quality of the script: profound ideas and thoughts presented with such clear articulation and passion; you never feel as though you’re being preached to, or hit over the head with an opposing belief. The acting: these young men so embodied their characters, I really wanted them to continue their discussion; you could feel the energy and sincerity of their respective positions, as well as their disappointment, confusion and doubt. 🏆 Gun and a Hotel Bible 🏆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This film will win many awards,  it’s fantastic!!!
Screening at regal Cinemas at LA LIVE Saturday November 9th, theater number 8, 300 seats.
This is an amazing film, Character driven, Exciting, Provocative and well written, the actors portrayal of their characters is exemplary, Our reviewers are absolutely at odds with each other right now as a large group of us just watched it as a submission to Film Fest La, it provokes conversation unlike any other film submission we have seen in three years, it has us arguing, debating, cringing, agreeing, disagreeing, and many other emotions flowing in the room, Edward was speechless for a few minutes too!!!, A few of us hated it due to ideology, but loved it too due to the content creating conversations....
It's a must see and we are proud to say it is a top choice from our festival staff.

Gun and a Hotel Bible
NOTE: The original play was titled Gun a and Motel Bible. Motel was changed to Hotel for the film.
Gun And A Hotel Bible is a provocative dialogue between a man on the verge of a violent act, and a personified Hotel Bible. Can Gideon sway Pete before Pete pulls the trigger?
Bradley and Daniel have been writing and performing together for the better part of a decade. Daniel and Bradley bring their differences, doubts, and deep friendship to the fore as they slug out the question: “Why do we believe what we believe?” Follow, Like and share social media sites: Instagram: instagram.com/gunandahotelbible/ Twitter: twitter.com/GunHotelBible
Words can’t describe how invested I was in Gun and a Motel Bible. – Jake Mouchawar
“An intriguing concept smartly delivered. These two talented actors bring you into some powerful and heavy debates that leave you teetering right on the edge of reason and insanity. Congrats to director, writers, and crew… it was my favorite fringe show this year!” -Ana Zimbart “This short but engrossing play was impressive on so many levels. Don’t miss this one!” – Judy Burris https://www.hollywoodfringe.org/projects/5063 Bradley Gosnell – Writer, Actor Bradley Gosnell – Writer, Actor, ProducerBradley Gosnell is an actor based in Los Angeles. She is a short, character actress, and writer in Los Angeles. After reading the script she jumped at the opportunity to direct it and to work with talented actors, Dan Floren and Bradley Gosnell. She was thrilled to work with director Raja Gosnell in transforming this story for the screen. IMDB page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4251331/ Raja Gosnell – DirectorWhen Raja saw the play Gun and A Motel Bible at the LA Fringe Festival he was beyond impressed with the intelligent writing and emotional acting. Hearing the reactions on the sidewalk after the show, and how the play served as an impetus for deep conversations, he was convinced that story should be brought to the screen. This was an opportunity for Raja to walk along side the young imaginative minds who created the story and help them bring the project to life on film. After meetings with writers Bradley and Daniel to discuss their vision, it was clear that they would serve as producers as well as actors. Having had been trusted to bring the story to the stage, it was important that director Alicia LeBlanc be a part of the team. Her blocking, understanding of the characters and coaching of the actors were as valuable on set as in the theatre. The cast and crew consisted of some established professionals together with many young artists at the beginning of their careers, giving freely of their time and talents. The energy, support and love on the set proved vital to this independent production with a small budget. The entire film was shot in under a week so it took unselfish teamwork to pull it off. Co-Director, Alicia LaBlanc also served as script supervisor. PAs were also stand-ins. Producers served meals and hauled props. The cast and crew were small in number but big in heart! Raja Gosnell has been in the movie business for four decades. After editing blockbusters such as Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire, he transitioned into directing. Directing credits include the Smurfs films, Big Momma’s House, Never Been Kissed, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
