*Well at least T is going to be there, that's a bonus for once* you thought before going in the shower. *40 minutes later* you got out the shower and fix your hair before slipping something on before leaving to go to your stylist.

So I apologize. I got this ask last night and was in the middle of answering it, but I fell asleep and my computer died while I was asleep. To be fair, by that point, I had been awake for over 36 hours lmao. I also might’ve smoked a little (because Pride W R E C K E D my body and I pushed myself past my limits for it), so that contributed to the sleepiness lmao.

ANYWAYS!! Firstable, you don’t have to censor queer, not on this blog anyway. If you do it for yourself, that’s fine, but this blog is queer as fuck so I don’t censor that; I’m not censoring my identity for anyone lmao. 

Second, I hate people who make jokes like that as well. It makes me feel like they don’t consider anything involving our identities to be legitimate or serious. Our relationships, our attractions, our genders, etc. feel like they’re just jokes for cishets. Because yeah, some people do joke like that just so they can seem “different” because they know that their friends aren’t actually gonna take it seriously and will just see it as humorous. They just do it for attention. I knew a girl in high school who would make out with other girls just for people to watch 😑 So yeah, that kind of stuff is bothersome. 

I don’t know how to help you not be upset by this though. I still get upset about stuff like this, but it’s not like... as intense?? as you, I guess. However, that might be because I’ve had years of practice ignoring all the petty shit cishets do and say. My best advice for you is to call them out, let them know why that’s not okay, and if they respond negatively and ignorantly, don’t bother with them anymore. If they’re just gonna be dismissive towards you, walk away right there. You can continue to call others out, but walk away from those who won’t listen because they clearly aren’t gonna change anytime soon. You can’t spend all your energy being angry at the same people who refuse to change. Educate whoever is willing to listen and forget anyone who won’t. Do not waste your time and energy on people who don’t care to learn.
