One thing I think we’re all glossing over about Thanks to Them is the fact that Belos got hit by a car. You’re a half-millennia old 1600s New England Puritan witch hunter who addresses Hunter as a grimwalker and then calls him Caleb in the same sentence and you just charged out into a modern road and got hit with that woman’s sedan. How do you cope with that. You used to be the Emperor. You’ve been living in the woods for months. Does he think that he got hit by an extremely fast wagon. The threat that’s been menacing the protagonists since episode fucking one just got hit by a car.

So, in the fic where Tim gets his appendix out, Jason tells him that he usually freaks out before he gets put under, not after. Now that Tim knows, how would he comfort Jason? I'm thinking, like, imagine that Jason breaks his leg badly on patrol, so urgent surgery is in order. Would Tim try to prevent him from freaking out? How?

Ooh so I've actually answered a similar question pretty recently (although that was focused more on the needle aspect than the anesthesia/loss of control aspect which I headcanon to be Jason's main issue with being put under)

Honestly? I think Tim would be the worst family member to try to comfort Jason through something like this. Not for anything that Tim is doing right or wrong, just because anesthesia is something that really freaks Jason out, and his response to being freaked out is a) to angry cry, and b) to lash out at people. Because he knows this about himself, and he's also extremely protective of Tim, he tries not to let Tim see him when he's not fully in control of himself. So while Jason would totally be great in a crisis involving Tim, he does terribly when the roles are reversed.

BUT that being said, if Tim was the only one available, I think Tim would end up offering his hand to squeeze, and Jason would hesitate at first but eventually take it. He'd probably also be trying really hard not to cry, which Tim would very intentionally act as through he wasn't noticing because at the end of the day, Jason needs his dignity more than anything.

…I can explain. Maybe. I’ll try. So, lately I’ve been trying to reread IM, and earlier today, I reached the chapter where we are introduced to our lovely Holly May. However, in her introductory paragraph, her hair was NOT described as long, dark, and straight, but rather as a blonde, curly BOB. What??

And I can’t remember for the life of me if it was ever revealed that it wasn’t her real hair, or if it was just switched without mention. And since I can’t remember, the only explanation I could come up with is that the dark hair is Holly’s real hair and the reason she went from a blond bob to long black hair is because TAP stole her wig.

and I'm very much the same tbh!! for the longest time I was like ew girl things but when I saw Goromi something clicked and now she's become so much more to me and really helped me feel comfy in my genderfluidity. I personally have a lot of masc features that I hated for the longest time but seeing Goromi being like, not conventionally attractive or "passing" in a sense, really helped me comes to terms that I'm pretty alright the way I am 💖

let me paint you a picture. it's november 2020, the show i used to be obsessed with is ending so i decide to watch the final episode just for old times' sake.

strange things start happening immediately. there's an insane vampire clown posse. dean gets nailed but not in the fun way and goes no sam!! don't call an ambulance i need to monologue for twenty minutes and also have a vaguely incestuous moment with you.

of course my mind is like cracking at this point but i'm thinking it's fine it's okay i can deal with this. things will start making sense any minute now cas and/or jack is coming to solve everything and we'll have our happy ending.

and then i see... her.

a wig that the costume department fashioned out of a dead raccoon, i'm assuming, and threw at jared padalecki while telling him "we forgot to bring the makeup kit so pls frown really hard to show that you have become the old man from UP" i'm assuming. and he did. he did just simply put on a wig and frown to show that time had passed.

i genuinely don't remember anything after that. i think dean made out with his car in heaven, and carry on my wayward son played twice in a row? anyway, if i close my eyes i can still see that party city wig filled with evil, and it scares me every single day
