I WAS SO CLOSE TO LOVING THIS ALBUM. The beginning and middle of the first song was great with wire showing completely new sounds that I did not expect at all. The singing is akward but the epic instrumentals totally make up for it. Sadly the second song on the ep was totally boring

It's not the album necessarily that is kinda anoying me but rather their discography as a whole. Their first 3 Albums were some of the best art punk you'll hear but after that they used the same formula over and over and over. And if they didn't and tried something new it's a desaster (like the first letter and especially the drill)

Now as with their last billion albums I have nothing bad nor positive to say. Wire are talented enough to make a solid album always but It's for sure not groundbreaking
