I am a Re!ju stan like anyone else is but she is more selfish than I think a lot of the fandom gives her credit for. Take her relationship with Sanj! as an example. The bar set by the rest of the family is already in hell that it makes Re!ju healing him after he gets abused look like a saint by comparison, and we love her for it.

What I don't see get talked enough about is how selfish those actions come across and how I think she even said herself when they were kids how she only joined in on the (admittedly lighter) bullying of Sanj! to protect herself. She doesn't want those little monsters baring their teeth at her on a show of weakness and so she joins in.

She is a bystander while her little brother gets abused over, and over again and it is only in the aftermath that she does anything to soothe his wounds. It can also be interpreted should one want to see her in a darker light that this reprieve she gives Sanj! is more of means for Re!ju to justify to herself why she does nothing to prevent him from getting hurt in the first place. I'm sure she carries a massive weight of guilt but that is why I think a genuine talk between these two would be interesting and gut-wrenchingly angsty in the best way because I think they genuinely need it if they were to have a proper sibling relationship in the future.

plot ideas:

your muse is lola's familiar. they have to do all sorts of things, such as sourcing humans for blood, harvesting blood, sourcing humans to abandon in the bayou for lola's swamp monster not-bf, avoid getting eaten by the swamp monster while dropping the humans late enough that they won't make it out, etc.

they work in his boutique and/or atelier (they're connected). this works for humans and supernatural beings, but the latter can get higher positions. he's very mean and difficult to work for.

your muse is a prison inmate that lola writes to (he does this sometimes. they flirt with him a lot and he likes it. your muse does not have to flirt).
