Post-AGT Appearance 1256: Geoff Gundy WJMK 93.1 June 30
By now my songs would have been translated into 17 languages and adapted by people for release in 21 countries. They would have added lyrics and adapted things. I didn’t post any of those because I would not have participated in the added lyrics. At midnight last Thursday however Lizzo would have released her version of Man of my Dreams. I would have helped her add the lyrics to give a different life to the situation. For the first time my wife would have gotten jealous of the interaction. The first to play the new song would be Geoff Gundy. His show starts at midnight on WJMK in Michigan. He would play it as the second song of the night, a minute ahead of a rival in Maryland. Lizzo’s real name is Melissa Jefferson.
Gundy: Now the latest from Lizzo.
Jefferson: I see his face, my heart screams.
He’s the man of my dreams!
The man of my dreams.
Backups: Man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams!
Jefferson: I see him and my heart screams!
Man of my dreams.
Backups: Man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams.
Jefferson: This feeling burns inside me.
I just need this man beside me.
Backups: Man of my dreams, man of my dreams, my heart screams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams.
Jefferson: I’m sorry man. I’m leavin’ you!
I’m letting you go free.
It hurts, but it’s the thing to do.
You’ve seen the last of me!
This is the end. Our day is done!
I’m leavin’ you, cause he’s the one!
Backups: Man of my dreams, man of my dreams, my heart screams, man of my dreams.
Jefferson: (Backups continue) This is the end. Our day is done!
I’m leavin’ you, cause he’s the one.
He’s the one.
He’s the one.
He’s the one.
He’s the one.
The man of my dreams.
My heart screams!
He’s the man of my dreams.
The man of my dreams.
Backups: Man of my dreams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams, my heart screams, man of my dreams, man of my dreams, my heart screams, man of my dreams.
He fills my heart’s desire!
My desire, my desire.
Jefferson and backups: My desire, my desire, my desire, my desire, my desire.
Jefferson: He’s the one. He is the one. Yes, he is the one.
The man of my dreams, man of my dreams.
I see him and my heart screams.
He’s the one!
He is the one!
My heart screams!
He’s the man of my dreams,
Man of my dreams!
