When ATEEZ members get jealous as ur bfs, reaction post !

Hongjoong:

• tbh, he gets jealous quite often, even at the smallest stuff but most of the time he manages to conceal it well.

• He's immediately besides you and whoever that guy is that you're enjoying talking to so much, my man would literally burn holes with his eyes whenever he's jealous. seriously, he gives such an intense stare to the person he perceives as a threat, although he trusts you a lot, he tends to get a little too protective of you...... cuz he loves you so much, ofcourse. He clings his arm with yours, sending a signal that you're ready to go.

•"Who even was that?" He asks, annoyance oozing in this voice as you turn back to him. Or "I didn't know you were that close...." would be his classic statement whenever a guy he doesn't know seems to get a little too close to you.

Seonghwa:

• Seonghwa tends to get a lot more clingy than usual whenever he's jealous. Not just clingy, but he'll purposely call you as "honey" "sweetheart" "babe" repeatedly in front of whoever made him jealous and protective of you in the first place.

• Something like "babe, we're getting late, let's go." he says, while entering the scene, emphasizing on the word babe a lil too much.

• As he says this, he'll eye up the guy in front of you up and down, almost in a judging manner, and effortlessly snakes an arm around your shoulder, bringing you closer to him, as if sending him a signal that you're his and his only. After you're done conversing with that guy, he'll literally jump on you, asking "what did he say to you?" demanding all details of your convo with him.

Yunho

• Another one who gets jealous more often than he wants to. If y'all remember, yunho himself admitted once that he "gets jealous too much/often" soo it's safe to say that he would be quite possessive of his s/o.

• When he notices that you're taking too much time conversing with whoever is your "new company", he crosses his arms, sighing as he watches you both, and matches towards your direction with a blank expression and sour smile (which looks kinda scary tbh)

• And then, voilà, you're getting dragged impossibly closer to him by the waist. His arm slides under your waist sideways, his grip firm and tight and that has goosebumps forming all over your skin. He doesn't even make eye contact with the guy in front of you, practically avoids him and once you're both alone, he says "do you talk to him often?" sensing that you do and he hates even the thought of you being close to him.

Yeosang

• Yeosang isn't really the jealous type. That's just how he is, and even if the slightest pang of jealousy hits him he conceals it so well that you've never seen his possessive side before.

• One day, you literally asked him out of the blue "you've never gotten jealous before, seeing me with some other guy, have you?" and yeosang laughs, literally LAUGHS because that was so random. but you sounded serious so he had to stop laughing and give you a reply. "what, you want me to get jealous? possessive? wouldn't that be annoying though?" he replied, staring at you. "why would it be? it shows how much you want me. i would actually love it if you act a bit possessive of me sometimes." you say, pouting, and yeosang just kisses your cheek, saying "alright, I'll try."

• And when the day comes when you ACTUALLY witness him being jealous for once, you're satisfied with his reaction. Yeosang noticed that you were gone away for quite a long time and went looking for you, only to find you talking to a guy he didn't know and you seeming to enjoy talking with him. Interwining his fingers with yours in a heartbeat, he asks "Hope I'm not interrupting? Y/n, love, let's go now, it's getting late." And when you're both alone, you pull his cheeks playfully, praising him and begging him to act more jealous like this cuz that's HOT of him (did I lie)

San

• He's literally both cute and scary when he actually gets jealous. He tries his best to not get jealous of the smallest stuff but sometimes he cannot hide his jealousy.

• He's the type to become restless when you aren't around. Literally staring at you both while sending death glares to the guy in front of you, his feet tapping impossibly faster on the floor.

• When he decides that it's his last straw when he notices the guy trying to get closer to you, he's there besides you in no time, smiling sweetly at you, not even acknowledging that guy. Placing a soft, quick kiss on your cheek, he brings your hand to his, suggesting you to check out those other food stalls with him.

Mingi

• He's DRAMATIC when he's jealous. When the princess itself gets jealous? It's over for you. You have to give him hundred times more kisses, cuddle him the entire night and hold his hand till eternity, all until he feels better ;D

• He'll barge in when you and the unknown guy are having a convo, introducing himself as your boyfriend. He'll literally tug on your arm sleeves, a small cute pout forming on his face and he stays like that until you exchange your goodbyes with that guy, finally alone with him.

• Rarely, he gives you silent treatment when he gets jealous. And you're always able to tell that he's jealous from the way he gets too quite rather than being talkative as usual. He denies it when you ask him about it, but immediately dissolves into a fit of giggles and a precious smile when you kiss him firmly on the lips and murmur I love you all over again. Really, that's all it takes for mingi to feel assured and happy.

Wooyoung

• 100 % scary when he's jealous. A little dramatic, might I add. He gets jealous quite often and doesn't shy away from showing that he's possessive of you.

• His last straw would be when you're flashing your incredible eye smile to that guy in front of you while talking to him, a smile that's reserved for wooyoung only. He appears being you in no time, back hugging you and wraps his arms around your waist tightly, placing his chin on your shoulder, sending death glares to the guy in front of you, not letting go of you unless that guy finally decides to leave.

• "What was so funny that you were laughing at literally every word he said?" Wooyoung asked, bitterly, lowering his eyes. "Don't worry, babe, he wasn't as funny as you. No one makes me laugh like you do, that was just a....fake laugh." You assured him, pulling his cheek playfully. He shrugs if off and makes sure to cling to you like a koala the entire day.

Jongho

• Something tells me that jongho hates admitting that he's feeling jealous. He does get jealous sometimes but it's mostly when something he senses someone else getting physically closer to you. He usually doesn't have a problem when you're just having a conversation with someone.

• So, when someone does try to get physically closer to you, he's there besides you immediately, snaking an arm around your shoulder. otherwise, he doesn't approach the person you're talking to since he doesn't want to come off as clingy to you.

• "I don't get a good vibe from him. He was trying to get close to you all the time." He admits, not out of jealousy, rather protectiveness. "If he was, i wouldn't let him. Don't worry babe, he was just an acquaintance." You assure him, kissing him lightly on the lips, causing jongho's cheeks to heat up as he hums, satisfied.

When ATEEZ members give you back hugs, reaction post! [maknae line ver.]

<3 San

• The gym was nearly empty, the echo of the weights clinking at the distant hum of machines creating a rythmic background noise. You carefully let down one of the weights you had been holding, going towards the end of the gym room to reach out for your water bottle. Your muscles were burning from an intense workout that you just completed, and you feel a sense of accomplishment wash over you as you take a long, satisfying sip of water.

• Apparently, San aka your boyfriend had been watching you from across the room with a proud smile on his lips, working out himself. He makes his way towards you, a towel slung over his shoulder & his own water bottle in hand. "Yo, champ. You did great out there." He greeted you, his voice filled with admiration. Your face lighted up as you heard him, finishing up your cool-down stretches. "Thanks. I'm completely exhausted." You said, still catching your breath even after the workout was over.

• "I know." San replied, noticing the way your shoulders slumped out of tiredness. Next, he stepped closer to you, draping his towel over your shoulders and pulled you into a gentle hug from behind. His arms encircled your waist, as you felt his broad and warm chest against your back. You relaxed under his embrace, feeling the tension under your muscles dissipate. "You always push yourself but I'm proud of you for that. I myself get motivated seeing you workout so hard half of the time." San said, his voice a low, soothing rumble. You smiled, your heart swelling with gratitude and love. "I seriously gotta thank you for bringing me along with you to the gym, sannie. I never realised before how fun it is to work out." San reached forward to place a light kiss on your cheek that made you giggle. "If you find it fun, then that's great. Now c'mon, let's get you and me cleaned up." He said, and you nodded, walking hand in hand towards your apartment to take a long, relaxing shower.

• Your eyes scan the colorful array of products lining on the shelves, as you slowly push your shopping cart further, mentally checking off each item at the process. You were so concentrated in shopping that you almost forgot that you were here with your boyfriend, Mingi. And he was trailing right behind you, a mischievous glint on his face as he watched your serious expression. He had just the perfect way to remind you that he was here with you, too- just as you were about to reach for a pasta box, Mingi swooped in, wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting you off the ground slightly.

• You let out a surprised squeal, knowing that it was Mingi but you still couldn't hide your shock. "Mingi!!! Let me down, you goofball." You let out, your laughter echoing through the aisle. Your feet were literally dangling a few inches above the floor, & you were a little embarrassed in case other people see you, but you didn't really mind. Shopping with Mingi was always this fun, and your earlier concentration on shopping was completely forgotten as you smiled at his playful antics. "And what if I don't?" He joked, but still set you down gently on your feet, and didn't release his hold.

• Instead, he kept his arms wrapped around you, waiting for your rebuttal. "I won't bring you to shopping with me again. I literally forgot what I had to bring." You pouted, but the blush forming on your face said otherwise. Your heart beated faster because the sensation of Mingi's strong arms around you was something else. "Liar. I know shopping is much more fun with me. You forgot that I'm here too, didn't you? So I had to do this." He said, grinning. You lightly swatted his arm around you, turning your heard slightly, you met his gaze, your eyes twinkling with affection and you smiled at him. "Min, I'll give you all the attention you want once we reach home. Just a few more minutes, promise." You pleaded, and Mingi nodded, letting go of your waist, now interwining his hands with yours. "I'll help you pick up a few things. Tell me what's on your list." You tried your best to recollect what you were supposed to bring, and Mingi helped you to get those items, grabbing your hand and giving it a playful swing from time to time. Later, when you reached home, you pinched his cheeks because of how utterly cute he was being at the store earlier.

• You stood at the kitchen counter, your hands deftly chopping vegetables for the dish you were preparing. You were cooking dinner for you and your boyfriend, wooyoung tonight, and you had to make sure that you don't mess anything up because this was one of the very few times you go to cook for you both - wooyoung was always the one cooking for you. You had already prepared the stew. Just as you reached out for your phone to change your song playlist, wooyoung crept up behind you, and you felt him pulling you impossibly closer to his chest.

• "Hey there, chef." He murmured, resting his arms against your waist, scanning the kitchen counter. "Mhm. What's up?" You replied, setting down your phone and continuing to chop your veggies. "Actually, i wanted to help you. Let me-" Before he could even finish his sentence, you put down the knife from your hands and twirled around, shooting him a glare. "Wooyoung. I told you I don't need your help. Babe, let me cook ONCE for us both, please." You said, your glare turning into a cute pout after meeting his playful smile. "Alright, alright. Continue, I'll still hold you, though. I miss you." He replied, and you nodded, turning back around, resuming to chop your veggies.

• In fact, you could not concentrate on chopping the veggies properly because Wooyoung being so close to you just made you straight up dizzy. And to make things worse, he bent down slightly, trailing kisses on your neck, the part which was closest to him. The sensation of his lips on your neck made you shiver, the knife on your hand slipping dangerously close to your finger. You quickly set it down, your heart racing both from the scare and his close proximity. "Jung Wooyoung, i swear to god if you distract me further- I was almost about to cut my finger!!!" You practically shouted, and Wooyoung suddenly became serious, his arms detaching from your waist, taking his hand on yours to examine your fingers. "Ah- sorry for that. I definitely won't disturb you the next time you cook for us, but right now let me just help you chop these veggies. You're clumsy and we both know it." He sighed, picking up the knife and chopping the veggies while you just stared at him, dumbfounded. "This was your plan all along, wasn't it?" You said, giving up on protesting any further and reaching out to stir the stew in the pot instead. Wooyoung just chuckled, and you couldn't help but smile, too- it was somehow better to cook with him. It felt intimate in a different way and warmth pooled in your stomach as you watched him skillfully chop the veggies to help you. Wooyoung noticed you staring at him and stopped chopping, came closer to you & gave you a huge smooch on your cheek. "Let's finish this together, chef. But all the credit goes to you, I'm just your lovely assistant." He said and you laughed, caressing his cheek and you both continued to cook in harmony.

• You constantly fiddled with your fingers, your laptop right in front of you as you blankly stared at the screen nervously. Your eyes couldn't leave the timing at the bottom of the screen, watching every minute pass by, waiting for the time to struck at 3.00 p.m. Your final exam results were about to pop up in a few minutes, and you felt every inch of confidence leave your body, despite knowing that you did your very best for the exams. Right then, Jongho aka your boyfriend approached you, noticing that you were tapping your feet nervously on the ground while staring the screen in front of you.

• He stood behind you on the sofa, wrapping his arms against your neck and snuggled closer to you. "Only a few minutes left, right, y/n?" He asked, and you nodded, leaning into his embrace. "Hey, genius. Look at me." He said softly, and you turned your neck slightly, as he lifted his right arm against your neck to give you head pats instead. "You're going to get amazing results, i just know it. Trust me. There's no need to be this nervous because we both know you did well in your exams." He said, and you passed him a sweet smile, tugging at his hand to pull him besides you on the sofa. "Thank you. It's just that this is so important to me, I know I did well too, but what if..." You trailed off, and he took your hand in his, giving it a light squeeze. "Shush. Be positive, love." He said, and right then the screen in front of you flashed your results- you and Jongho went through the online result copy in unison. "I did it!!!! I passed with first grade distinction!!!" You exclaimed, your hands covering your mouth in shock because you couldn't believe that this was real.

"See? I told you!!! I have always believed in you. Congratulations y/nnie~, I'm so proud of you." He said as you pulled him in a bone-crushing hug, and Jongho laughed, hugging you back just as tightly. You could cry because of the amount of happiness and relief you felt right now.

Later, after you passed the news to your friends and parents, Jongho announced that he'd order whatever dishes you wanted for dinner, that it was his treat. You beamed at the mention of your favourite food and hugged him yet again, excitedly and he chuckled at how cute you were.

A piercing sound resembling a trumpet jolts you awake, your body heavy and your mind disoriented. You blink open your eyes, the sun burning away at your corneas as they fill up with tears. You gasp, a searing pain in your stomach reminding you of the sword wound you took before leaping through the tear. Beside you, the weapon lies cold and out of place on the concrete sidewalk.

You push yourself to your knees with a grunt, your vision swimming and your hands slick with blood. Agony rings through your body with every movement but you grit your teeth and force yourself upright. The sounds around you keep assaulting your ears.

An elderly couple hurries towards you and you recognise concern in their eyes. It’s nice seeing some compassion in your state, but you choose to stumble past them, ignoring their outstretched hands and pleading tones. Instead, you grab the sword from the ground and focus on finding your way out of the busy street.

Each step sends a sharp pain to your stomach as you make your way down a narrow alleyway, the cool shadows offering a brief escape from the heat of the sun. You press a hand to your wound, trying to stem the bleeding, and lean against the rough brick wall for support. Desperation pushes you to tear a strip from the hem of your shirt, wrapping it tightly around your abdomen. The fabric quickly darkens with blood, but you grit your teeth and tie it as firmly as you can, hoping it will buy you enough time to find proper help.

You scan your surroundings, searching for anything that might aid your situation. The alley is littered with discarded crates and broken bottles, but nothing useful. Determined to survive, you take a deep breath and push off the wall, your resolve hardening despite the throbbing pain.

With your makeshift bandage in place, you stagger forward. Ahead, you spot a small side door partially hidden behind a stack of wooden pallets. Praying it’s not locked, you stumble towards it, your fingers trembling as you grasp the handle.

It creaks open and you slip inside, closing the door behind you and leaning against it to catch your breath. The sounds of clattering pots and muffled conversations seep through the walls, and you realise you’ve stumbled into the back room of a restaurant.

You slide down to the floor, back against the door, and take a look at your surroundings. You spot an old, tattered curtain hanging from a rusted rod in one corner of the room. Summoning the last of your strength, you crawl over to it, ripping off a piece and pressing it against your wound, adding an extra layer of pressure to slow the bleeding.

Time feels like it’s slipping away, but for now, you allow yourself a moment of rest. You close your eyes, focusing on your breath, trying to gather the energy to move again. After a few shallow breaths, you push yourself to your feet and shuffle out of the door. The cool shadows welcome you once again, and you take a moment to orient yourself before pressing onward.

You navigate the alleyways for a few more hours, only stopping when you spot a small, dimly lit shop at the end of an alley. Through the grimy window, you see a burly man handing something to the shopkeeper and leaving with a few bills. Clutching the gold pendant hanging around your neck, you push open the creaky door and step inside.

The shopkeeper, a wiry man with greasy hair and darting eyes, looks up from behind the counter. His gaze sweeps over you, taking in your dishevelled appearance and the makeshift bandage on your stomach. He raises an eyebrow, a glint of greed unmistakable in his eyes.

“What can I do for you?” he asks, his voice as slimy as his appearance.

You place the pendant on the counter, the gold glimmering under a faint light. He picks it up, examining it closely.

“Quite a piece,” he says, weighing it in his hand. “How did a girl like you come by something like this?”

You’re too tired to think of a lie. “It’s a family heirloom,” you mutter, avoiding his gaze.

He smirks. “Family heirloom, huh? I’ll give you a fair price.” His tone suggests otherwise.

He fetches a stack of bills from beneath the counter and slides it toward you. The amount seems small for the pendant’s value, but you have an immediate need for the money.

“Are you sure you don’t want to tell me where you really got this?” he asks, eyes narrowing. “Looks like you’ve been through quite an ordeal.”

You shake your head, pocket the money, and turn to leave. His gaze follows you, lingering on the bandage and the sword hilt peeking from your makeshift sheath. Outside, the air is cooler, and the alleyways are now cloaked in darkness.

Each step is a reminder of your wound, but the money in your pocket gives you a sliver of hope. You need to find a place to rest, to gather your strength and figure out your next move.

You decide to leave the alleyways, leaving the sharp corners and tight turns behind you, and step into a main street. You scan your surroundings looking for a place to rest your legs and gather your strength.

You spot a plastic bench at the edge of the sidewalk, and watch as a large vehicle comes by and people get on and off. Sitting amongst people is not the wisest idea in the state you are in but it’s the only refuge you have that is close enough. You make your way over and collapse onto the seat, wincing when the pain flares up your side to your stomach. Your mind is a little quelled by the constant hum of the lamp above you, as well as the mixture of conversations and distant traffic. The plastic seat is surprisingly comfortable, so you rest your head against the back to try and collect your thoughts.

As your head naturally lulls to the left you notice two teenagers at the other end of the bench. They are dressed in identical black skirts and white button ups with backpacks resting beside them, as they whisper amongst themselves, occasionally glancing in your direction.

Your attention slowly moves on to the plastic board behind the two, covered in a large poster advertising a release of a new ‘album’ by ATEEZ. You squint, trying to make out the details, and your heart skips a beat. Looking back at you was a picture of eight men you could recognise anywhere. Your jaw tightens at the mere sight of him.

Jeong Yunho.

You force yourself to look away from the poster, the sight of him bringing back memories you can’t afford to dwell on right now. Instead, you focus on the task at hand: finding somewhere safe to stay. Your gaze shifts to the bus stop sign beside the bench. You can read the characters with ease, this world's language is comfortingly similar to your own.

Your eyes catch the whispering schoolgirls again. They glance at you, then quickly look away, but you decide to take a chance. Leaning slightly towards them, you muster the courage to speak.

“Excuse me,” you say softly. “Do you know where I can find a place to stay? Somewhere cheap and safe?”

The girls exchange glances. One of them, a girl with short, bobbed hair, speaks up. “You mean like a boarding house?”

You nod, hoping your desperation isn’t too obvious.

“There’s a lot of them near the universities,” she continues. “They’re called hasukjip. You can find them in areas like Sinchon.”

Her friend, with long braids, nods in agreement. “Yeah, a lot of students live there. It’s affordable and usually includes meals.”

Relief floods through you. “Thank you. How do I get to Sinchon?”

The girl with braids points to the approaching bus. “This bus will take you there. Just stay on until you see the university buildings.”

You nod your thanks, feeling a glimmer of hope. As the bus arrives, the girls board first, and you follow, keeping your head down and clutching the money in your pocket. The bus driver gives you a once-over but doesn’t comment as you drop the fare into the collection box. You find a seat near the back, away from prying eyes, and sink into it with a sigh of relief. The bus lurches forward, and you close your eyes, allowing the rhythmic hum of the engine to lull you into a state of semi-rest.

The ride is a blur of city lights and distant conversations. The pain in your stomach ebbs and flows, but you force yourself to stay alert, watching the names of the stops flash by on the digital display at the front of the bus. Finally, you hear the automated female voice announce that you have arrived at Sinchon.

You stand and make your way to the front of the bus, gripping the handrails tightly as it comes to a stop. The driver nods to you as you step off, and you find yourself in a bustling area filled with students and small shops. The air is cooler here, and the streets are lined with trees, their leaves rustling in the evening breeze.

You weave through the crowds, searching for a boarding house. Your eyes scan the signs in the windows of the buildings, after a few minutes of searching, you spot a modest building with a sign that reads hasukjip, just like the girls told you.

You approach the door, hesitating for a moment before knocking. An older woman answers with a scowl. Her eyes widen slightly at the sight of you, but she quickly masks her surprise.

“Hello,” you greet her, your voice strained. “Can I rent a room?”

The woman looks you over, her gaze lingering on the makeshift bandage at your stomach. “Are you alright, girl?” she asks, her tone filled with concern.

You nod, though you’re far from it. “Yes, just need a place to stay.”

She hesitates for a moment but then steps aside, motioning for you to enter. “Come in. We have a room available. Follow me.”

You follow her through a narrow hallway lined with family photos and into a small room at the back of the house. The room is simple, with a bed, a small desk, and a wardrobe. It’s not perfect but you couldn’t afford to be picky.

“The rent is usually due at the end of each month,” the woman explains, handing you a key. “But since you have arrived with no prior warning I have to ask for the whole amount upfront.”

You nod again, handing over a portion of the money you received from the pawnshop. “Thank you,” you manage to say.

She accepts the money with a curt nod. “Get some rest. If you need anything, my bedroom is on the third floor.”

With that, she leaves you alone in the room. You lock the door behind her and collapse onto the bed, exhaustion overwhelming you. The pain in your stomach is a constant, dull throb, but for now, you’re safe. You allow yourself a moment to breathe, to rest.

Your thoughts drift back to the poster at the bus stop. Questions swirl in your mind, but you push them aside. There would be time for answers later. For now, you needed to heal, to gather your strength.

You close your eyes, the events of the day catching up to you, and finally let sleep take you.
