The second "Scotch Tape and Paperclips" zine: "Second Fiddle" is here!! This time it's all about games and the games we play to better understand them. Also spaghetti. Get the printable version for free on my itch.io!
If you perchance make something of these games, I'd love to see it!
I made this two years ago, just remembered it exists, and need to share it with the world. I will not apologize for the frankly disgusting quality, deal.
Generally finding the "puzzle" pages throw away filler, it becomes all the stranger that an entire digest title -- first 'Archie's Activity Comics Digest Magazine' then 'Archie's Story and Game', was released where half the material were these pages. A good way to repurpose images, I suppose.
The Ginger Lopez taking over Cheryl's body here is curious (more so than normal, once accepting that they did this for a brief period) as a Cheryl story appears in this digest.
Well, well, well, what have we here? It seems we've stumbled upon a barnyard brouhaha of epic proportions! Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Farmyard Fiasco: the word-scrambling extravaganza that's bound to get your feathers ruffled and your hooves tapping.
Now, before we dive headfirst into this delightful debacle, let me ask you a question: What do you get when you cross a rooster with a crossword puzzle? Why, you get our Farm Animal Word Challenge, of course! We've rustled up 10 tantalizing words, all jumbled up and ready for you to unscramble. And just to get those brain cells firing on all cylinders, here's a little teaser for you: What's big, pink, and loves to wallow in the mud? If you said "hog," you're well on your way to becoming the champion of the barnyard!
But enough chit-chat, let's talk turkey. Or should I say, let's talk chickens, cows, and pigs? From clucking hens to woolly sheep, we've got a menagerie of words just waiting to be unscrambled. And remember, it's not about winning or losing – it's about having a rollicking good time and maybe learning a thing or two about our furry and feathered friends along the way.
Now, here's the real kicker: If you can unscramble at least 6 out of the 10 words, you'll earn yourself a certificate of achievement fit for the grandest barn in the county. It's a prize so prestigious, even Old MacDonald himself would be green with envy!
