WORKSHOP6 18th of November- mixed materials in 3D

Week 18th- 22nd of November

Today I did the working with mixed materials in 3D workshop.

I started off with gathering rubbish from my car and making a car liked shape out of brown paper and sticking the rubbish onto the paper I was inspired to do this by Tim Noble and Sue Webster.

I liked the idea of how they used rubbish to make art and then had a shadow in the background I thought this related to my project a lot as when me and my friends assemble in my car to go places we end up having rubbish. As of this I wanted to incorporate my car and the rubbish inside it in an art piece.

As seen above in the photos I made the car too big and it could be made more realistic if I was to do it again.

There’s no actual person to ask about a bath or hotel room. Instead you need to find the sign on the wall. The room is located upstairs and is to the right while the bath is on the other side. (There’s one door in the middle you cannot enter)’

After Effect Animation workflow from Rhinoceros 3D and Adobe Illustrator

Workshop 6 introduces the basic features of motion graphics and visual effects by using Adobe After Effects CC (AE). A professional software that will boost capacities in project presentations. Including the software interface, elemental tools, importing and interpreting footage, creating assets and be organized with media. The workshop also introduces workflow between AE, Adobe Illustrator (AI) and Rhinoceros 3D.
