Facebook has some of the most ableist, uneducated fucks known to man on it. I feel gross after reading the comment section on a video reel about characters people with Bipolar Disorder relate too. (And it’s always the Dudebro types.)

I'm making a note about medici, because I tried to watch it but found it so dull I could hardly get through the first season. Can you reccomend any historical shows or films that do pass the vibe check?
off the top of my head, some personal favorites are:
season one of Kingdom (킹덤) 2019 (period horror set in the Joseon era)
Barbarians (Barbaren) 2020 (arminius, baby!)
Heneral Luna & Goyo (philippine revolution)
Showtime’s The Borgias (all time favorite forever)
Wolf Hall (2015) (an adaption of Hilary Mantel’s novels)

Mother in law has been telling us for months that her and father in law can’t wait until we move out. Told her yesterday that we’ll be out in a month, three months max, and are already planning inspections.
Now she’s trying to deter us from moving and wants us to stay 💀💀💀

ihnmaims fandom I need to express this thought
Chonny Jash’s Heart Acoustic/ Mind Electric/ Soul Eclectic but it’s Ted, AM, and Harlan Ellison
I’ve had a theoretical animatic of 10:11-10:58 in my head for a month
It’s not even in the lyrics or story of the songs it’s about how the characters of the Heart and Mind are so steadfast in their beliefs of one another that they refuse to give an inch of ground and the Soul’s outside perspective of realizing that neither of them know themselves, each other, or the situation they find themselves in as well as they think they do-

im about halfway through a 5hr overview+analysis video of drv3 which is definitely interesting on its own given I never actually watched all of v3 and only watched the trials, and this could just be old affection towards the character coming back, but I do wish the game leaned more into how insanely paranoid they made kokichi ouma. and I mean past just his inability to be honest with his peers due to how he’s unable to trust any of them. It would’ve been interesting to watch the already antagonistic character go further off the deep end in his paranoia, becoming more fidgety, locking himself in his room, avoiding the other characters at all costs, etc. having him intentionally put a target on his own head by antagonizing the others makes no sense especially since his plan since the beginning was also to reveal the mastermind, putting yourself on everyone’s hit list is counterproductive and obviously only hindered his search. i don’t think he should’ve lived, but to only reveal how he was more than just some annoying asshole after his death, rather than sprinkle it in throughout and then discover the full sum of it post-death, would’ve made him much more interesting and compelling
