Made a new window! | WPFs

Back to my WPFs learning journey and I finally figured out how to make a new window! So, I made it so when you click a button a new window appears. In the past I was able to make message pop-up but limited to how you can design them! So, finally able to make a new window and design it as I wish! ( ´∀｀)人(´∀｀ )

My goal with learning WPFs is I want to build my own mini management system where I can store my own code snippets rather than having to always Google them. For instance, if I made a good code on how to generate a random string (e.g. a password), I don’t want to always look back on old files or Google it, it’ll be in my code snippet app and I can retrieve it to use for other projects. I hope that makes sense!

Starting around mid May, community member and my friend Sora and myself started on a journey to rewrite the SADX Mod Manager. We wanted to do a new UI using WPF for theme support and language support.

The project grew in scope a bit, and I've been reworking a lot of what we were doing so we can easily shove SA2 support into it and have a unified Manager going forward. As of today, I'd say we're close to the 80% mark of being done.

Sora's been hard at work with the backend, working on getting updates fully functional and ensuring other features have been ported properly. I've been focused on polishing up the UI and migrating stuff where necessary for multi game support.

I've learned a lot on this journey, and I can't wait to have that knowledge follow me into my next project.

Hiiiii so in my White Picket Fence AU (Kit and Jentry are married and have kids but All Is Not As It Seems), Jentry looks.

Different.

Ofc she’s much older than in the show, but for this specific au, things went horribly wrong during her first pregnancy and Kit risked his life to go get an Immortality Peach so Jentry could live.

He’s successful (after a brief issue), returns to Jentry who has been in a coma for a week at that point, and she wakes up to eat the peach.

Eating the peach ended up adjusting her appearance, most notably her hair now having permanent pink and white tips.

Also I stole the V bangs. I saw someone else do them and Jentry just looked SO GOOD with them, I’m mad I didn’t think of it first.

Playing around with WPF finally

Finally getting around to playing with creating a test WPF application! Was on my 'technologies to try out' list 💗

WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is a GUI (Graphical User Interface) framework developed by Microsoft for creating Windows desktop applications.

It's fun so far, I played with Winforms in the past but haven't gotten around to playing with WPFs! （˶′◡‵˶）

Already making notes even though I don't know how long I will last getting into this~! (∩˃o˂∩)♡

Hi there!

We felt like we should introduce ourselves before we get started. Our names are Parker and Darshan, and we made this blog to try and spread awareness of proper safety precautions surrounding Wild Planar Fissures (WPFs).

Even if you don’t stick around, here are some things you should know:

The first rule of interacting with a WPF is: DON’T! The only safe way to deal with a WPF is to turn around and report the encounter to the proper authorities

A god sets you free one time. A standing monster doesn’t

A standing monster’s victim is unlucky, but a god’s victim is stupid. Prevent anything you can with proper safety gear

Plants are more dangerous than animals in a WPF perimeter

If you leave the marked trails, the local rangers cannot be held responsible for whatever grim fate awaits you

Above all else: we are professionals! Parker is a career ranger, and Darshan has a master’s degree in WPF ecology. If we make it look easy, it’s because we have a lot of practice! DON’T DO WHAT WE’RE DOING.

Given we’re trying to educate on WPF precautions, and want to be as open and specific as we can, there will be photos included. As such, please proceed with caution if you are uncomfortable with seeing mutated or undead life forms.
