Starting around mid May, community member and my friend Sora and myself started on a journey to rewrite the SADX Mod Manager. We wanted to do a new UI using WPF for theme support and language support.

The project grew in scope a bit, and I've been reworking a lot of what we were doing so we can easily shove SA2 support into it and have a unified Manager going forward. As of today, I'd say we're close to the 80% mark of being done.

Sora's been hard at work with the backend, working on getting updates fully functional and ensuring other features have been ported properly. I've been focused on polishing up the UI and migrating stuff where necessary for multi game support.

I've learned a lot on this journey, and I can't wait to have that knowledge follow me into my next project.

I did it, I made a digital version of my original sketchbook drawing of bunny suit Shadow. I would have made alt versions but I'm tired, this reminded me of how much of a pain shading is. I also recorded for a possible speedpaint/"slow paint" while working on this so yeah

Sometimes a family is a hedgehog and two Chao co-raised by another hedgehog who never sees the other hedgehog in the garden at the same time-

(plus occasionally a fox, an echidna, and a bat)

I spent a lot of today and last two days getting Sonic and Shadow Chao for the first time, on my steam deck. Granted it was mostly leaving the game idle while watching youtube or something.

Already played through SA2 on pc, but wanted to try it with a controller layout (I don't have a good separate one to use exclusively for my pc) and since it's much more comfortable to replay stages that way I decided to do it on the deck. Which btw I have because my pc is OLD and cannot run graphically high end games...

They promptly made an egg after I took those screenshots lmao

I heard the chime go off while I had the game details up in steam KLFJDSKLFJDKSL sneaky gremlins. Heart Fruit who? They look so proud of themselves

Chao are precious I hope to one day see the garden mechanic brought back! It's really cute how much personality it has for a little side minigame type of deal, I'd like it to have more of an impact in a game if it returns, but I wouldn't complain if not. When I first played through the story on PC it was a sweet, relaxing break between stages the times I grabbed the key to go straight to it afterward.
