🌙 Installation:

Download your favorite mod version

The mod version must match your game patch, otherwise you'll get UI errors.

Place the package file in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods (up to five subfolders deep).

There can only be one cc wrench replacement in the game. If you previously installed a similar mod, remove it.

Minimalist CC Wrench Mod by RheallSim (2 Versions)

Hi there! This mod was originally created by @rheallsim, so all my thanks and gratitude go to them. I know they posted about maybe not being able to update their mods as quickly, so I took it upon myself to update this one. (If they read this, I hope they're doing well, and I'm happy to take this mod down if they'd like me to!) Click the read more to get more details and download!

This is my first published mod, so please let me know if you run into any oddities/problems. I created 2 versions of this mod. Both versions work in both CAS and BuildBuy.

Version 1: An update of RheallSim's original wrench mod. The wrench icon is replaced by subtle white text that says "CC".

Version 2: A very discrete version that replaces the wrench with a small white dot (originally only used to indicate custom skintones). This is very subtle, and probably not for everyone, but what I use in my personal game. I wanted to still be able to indicate that an item is CC, but be as unnoticeable as possible.

Again, thank you to @rheallsim!! Their tutorials and CC have inspired and taught me so much. Really can't recommend their other CC enough, so please check them out. LINKS: Download Version 1 (SFS, no ads)

Oh to have that AU where the shadowhunters don’t know about the lethal wards and Alec is thrown into it and survives because some part of Magnus’ magic in the wards recognizes Alec and he is only injured not dead. And then Izzy has to go get Magnus and he tries to pull the “what do you want, Shadowhunter?” And has to face the reality that his warding almost killed not just someone unaware, but his beloved.

OH MY FUCKING GOD YOU JUST KILLED ME

I can only imagine Magnus’s shock and panic if he knew that Alec was harmed by his wards. it’s interesting to note that Magnus’s magic has a mind of its own and would immediately recognizing Alec. CAN SOMEONE MAKE THIS HAPPEN because I’ll never not think about this now when I watch this episode

I’ve secretly wanted something similar for this episode. I just wanted them to talk more before they got back together or at least have something serious happen like I don’t know maybe Alec being injured by Magnus’s wards and making this whole situation that more complex and scary

I just have a flair for the dramatics I guess but I wanted this moment to be more drastic. I want heartbreaking, gut wrenching, drastic, dramatic, all the feels possible. I know Harry and Matt would have pulled that shit off perfectly.

literally the whole season with the body switch, Magnus trauma, and the soul sword storyline should have been longer and included many parts like this instead of focusing on clace

I think EA genuinely gets a little thrill out of shuffling the UI elements every single update. Make sure to delete the old version and replace with this one.
