沒想到平常寫信也能挽救一個人的生命. 在我們看來人權自由是相當正常的生活. 但在遙遠的地球另一端，卻有人們因此遭受迫害. 只是因為環境、女權、自由而為正義發聲. 卻得面臨多年監獄刑罰，甚至殘害寶貴生命. 寫一封信，讓受迫害者知道還有一群人支持著他們.

Please Stop Generalizing the Citizens of a Certain Country

Okay so I’ve been seeing this trend a lot on tumblr lately and decided to write about this common situation that happens to not only  Lebanese but Middle Eastern people in general. For some reason, most countries have this general idea that all Middle Eastern people work or support terrorists. Now I am only writing about personal experiences or experiences that I have stumbled upon. I am aware of the fact that I am still young and may not understand why people have these bitter thoughts about us, but it is not right to tell a young Lebanese girl that she and her family are terrorists just because of their race. I promise I’m not trying to attack any country but I’m just stating things that I find illogical, but what annoys me even more is when their is a shooting or a bombing in countries outside of the Middle East. If the person that commited the crime has an international (American, European, etc..) nationality, he/she  would directly be considerd as a ‘lone wolf’ or ‘an outcast’. But no, when an Arab commits the crime, he/she are directly called terrorists. I just don’t get it alright, why does the Arab person get to be called a terrorist while the other person doesn’t? They both commited the same crime, so they should both be judged equally.  Okay so basically what I’m trying to deliver through this short rant is that a criminal is a criminal if he/she commites a crime despite whatever race, ethnicity, or color the person is. I am tired of people always calling us terrorists because of this false idea they have about us. Believe it or not Lebanese people are one of the most sweetest people you will ever meet and it’s so sad that other countries won’t give our country a chance to show them the amazing things we have in store. Please stop generalizing other countries and their cultures because you are missing out a lot of things by doing so.
