[EN] There are still such places in Poland. They still somehow persist. They haven't been suffocated by corporations. Beautiful name - Wrzos (Heather). It probably won't last long. What a shame.

[PL] Jeszcze istnieją takie miejsca w Polsce. Jeszcze się jakoś trzymają. Nie zostały zdławione przez korporacje. Piękna nazwa - Wrzos. Pewnie długo to nie potrwa. Szkoda.

working on Iskra's family, since my teammates might actually find out some more about them soon. Oset - father and a loving husband - fisherman Tafla - mother and a housewife - used to be a barbarian (still carries a cleaver) Iskra - their first child - their spark - fire druid Wrzos - youngest son - fey sorcerer - works with bees Rdest - daughter - wizard working with fabrics and dyes there might be 1 or 2 more of them, we will see. Iskra has been gone for 5 years and he is afraid his family is no more and the worst - because of him. His family has no clue what happened either, but they still hope he comes back.

Months: September means Wrzesień

The month September is called wrzesień in Polish language. The name comes from the name of a heather - in Polish wrzos.

As you can see by now, you can create a name for a month by adding the ending -eń or -ec to the characteristic occurence that mark these season. Thats rule applies to:

-EŃ ending: styczeń, kwiecień, sierpień, wrzesień, grudzień

-EC ending: marzec, czerwiec, lipiec,

OTHERS: luty, maj, październik, listopad,

The adjective of wrzesień is - wrześniowy/a/e. And some examples:

Wrześniowe niebo - September sky

Wrześniowy wypad w góry - September excursion in to the mountains

Kampania wrześniowa - September Campaign of 1939. Note that the adjective comes second, as it is the proper name of the historical event. I wrote about it in one of the previous posts.

𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐳𝐞𝐤 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐳 (November 29, 1892 - August 17, 1944) was born into a respectable family and there was no indication that he would become an amante and a dream of women in his later years. As a young man, he escaped from the army when Poland regained its independence in 1918, and he embarked on a theatrical career that he preferred to films, joining the touring company of actor Ludwik Dybizbański, who later became the director of the Municipal Theater in Bydgoszcz. Around this time he met Helena Thewsówna. The two fell deeply in love with each other. From their union a daughter was born, who wanted to perform on stage, and during her stay in the United States she took the name Ada Kennedy. Francis married Helena after some time, recognizing his daughter to take his name. Francis did not stop developing his career, performing alongside wily stars. He produced many great acting performances and appeared in films: "Dwie Joasie" ("Two Joans"), "U kresu drogi" ("At the End of the Road"), "Wrzos" ("Heather") and "Prokurator Alicja Horn" ("Prosecutor Alice Horn"). As his career progressed, interest in his private life increased. He kept his wife and daughter away from fame and often hid the fact of their existence. He often played roles of villains and bad guys, but was able to find his way in any role. He was described as a nice man, with beautiful eyes and hair, who is even more handsome than on screens or in photos. He also emphasized his love for his country, so during World War II he was very involved in helping soldiers and participating in the war by supplying weapons during the Warsaw Uprising. He died suddenly of a heart attack during one such assignment.
