I seriously can’t stop thinking about Roman’s return at Summerslam, and it’s not just because I’m a huge Reigns fan and a huge fan of the Samoan dynasty.
This man grew up with a father whose job was a professional wrestler in the biggest wrestling federation in the world. Anyone who knows anything about that industry knows it’s one hell of a feat to be able to maintain a family in tandem with working for the WW(F).
This man was a talented football player. He worked hard to get somewhere in that field. He had a good woman by his side, a good career, a tight family. He was heading straight to the top. The NFL. And then found out about the leukaemia. Back to square one.
This man got released from two football contracts after his diagnosis, headed home and worked in a furniture installation warehouse with his cousins for 2 years.
This man’s father saw it in him. Just as it was in his older brother. One push, into the deep end, and he was training tirelessly to make it in the WWE. To garner the same respect his old man had, the same respect his cousins had, the same respect given to the Samoan wrestling dynasty.
This man smashes it in FCW, smashes it in NXT, smashes a Survivor Series debut at the age of 27.
This man has a long-time girlfriend, a 6/7 year old daughter, his cousins are working in the same company, he’s getting there, he’s working it. And then the beloved faction—The Shield—implodes.
This man is then shoved down everyone’s throats. This is the guy. The new face. The new Cena.
This man loses autonomy as a wrestler. Loses his creative freedom.
This man wins the 2015 Royal Rumble, only to be booed to no end, despite him supposedly being a baby face. A good guy. No guys, this is who you should be cheering for! See how we are pushing him? This should have been the biggest night of his life, but it was marred by a crowd so hateful towards his character, that he’d rather not remember it!
This man is now married. Is the official face of WWE, whose fan base doesn’t want him. They want him gone. They chant their disdain. Every. Single. Time.
This man continues to be given poor promos, poorly written scripts, is made to say lines that make him into a mockery. But he does it. He plays the game. He knows how this goes. It doesn’t take away the fact he is still one of the most gifted wrestlers of the modern era. But the fans don’t see that. They don’t want to.
This man has his championship opportunity taken from him at Wrestlemania. Fuck.
This man, for the next few years, continues to be pushed and pushed and pushed. Fights with his whole soul. He needs that respect. He deserves that respect. His nose is shattered, his face is split open by a former UFC champion.
This man, still billed as the face of WWE, is now to do what nobody expects of him. Defeat the phenom. The Undertaker. Potentially the most beloved character in the history of pro wrestling. More booing. Nobody believes he deserves it. Just more negativity.
And then, the same exact year, this man’s big brother passes away. But what does he do? He keeps it pushing. He will endure these challenges in order to earn that respect he so desperately needs.
This man continues to be booed and mocked and undermined, under appreciated. Until late 2018.
This man announces that his real name is Joe and he’s been living with leukaemia for 11 years. And it’s back.
For the first time, the WWE universe realise this is a real man. And the absence of said man highlights just how important he is.
This man, in February 2019, announces he’s in remission. Gets a taste of the humanity in the WWE universe. But now he’s floating about. He doesn’t know who he is. He’s pushed as a face, but knows he’s destined for something different, something that will command that respect.
In 2020, this man takes a break. Reinvents himself a bit. Taps into who he is, his culture, his family, his traditions.
And then at Summerslam 2020, The Big Dog returns. And there’s something different about him.
The Big Dog is now The Tribal Chief. The Head of the Table.
And you will Acknowledge Him.
For the next few years, this man raises the bar, lifts up his cousins, has the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, and Triple H, praising him. The greats can see it. That respect is so close, he can almost taste it.
By April 2024, this man has had one of the longest title reigns in WWE history. Over 1,300 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He’s been pinned less than a handful of times within 4 years. He carried the company through COVID. He’s become the real face of the company whilst being himself, controlling his destiny, his promos, his image.
Yet… he’s still overlooked by the crowd. An undeserving champion some would say.
So you know what? Let’s give this to the man everyone loves. Another prodigy of a legendary family. Cody Rhodes.
Roman’s absence between Wrestlemania 40 and Summerslam 2024 proved just how loved he is. The fans thought they wanted one thing, they thought they wanted Cody. But once Roman Reigns is taken out of the equation… damn, this shit is kinda boring.
The “we want Roman chants start. The world starts to crave his presence. They need him to come back. To have that genius moment of cinema. The way he commands a room without saying a single word.
During this man’s absence, the wrestling world mourns the loss of Sika Anoa’i. Roman Reigns’ father.
Married, 5 kids, a wife of 10 years, a career like no other, living with leukaemia, constantly working on himself… and now, the man who pushed him, the man who saw something in him, has passed on to the other side.
When those drums rang out in Cleveland on August 3rd 2024, everybody knew how big of a moment this was. Historical. Monumental. And as the Original Tribal Chief turns that corner, showing himself to the WWE universe for the first time since April… he got it.
The respect.
This man is more than a wrestler. He’s a warrior. The pop, the reaction, for his return at Summerslam… it’s never been more deserving. 14 years of trial and error, pain, loss, lack of identity, all paid off.
Because now, we all know. Everyone knows.
They acknowledged him.
Finally.
I’m so proud of him.

The Scottish Invasion : How Scottish Wrestlers Took Over The WWE Part 1
Since WWE Clash At The Castle is in Scotland , I wanted to highlight a few wrestlers from the company. I decided that this article will be broken up into a few parts. I’m also including a WWE Hall of Famer in this article as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first wrestler I am starting with the Legendary WWE Hall of Famer , the Late , Great , ‘ Rowdy ’ Roddy Piper . Roddy Piper was born Roderick George Toombs on April 17, 1954 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada and passed away on July 31, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. Piper is of Scottish descent on his mother’s side of his family. He made his wrestling debut in 1969 and retired in 2011. He was actually presented to WWF fans as being from Glasgow , Scotland due to his entrance music and wearing a kilt. He is known for his talk show , Piper’s Pit, where he would interview different wrestlers in the WWF and insult them. He also had a popular rivalry with Hulk Hogan and was involved in a storyline with Pop Music icon , Cyndi Lauper in 1985. He also had a big feud with the nWo in WCW in 1996. He also was an actor with his best known movie being They Live , a Sci-Fi film in 1988. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Drew McIntyre was born Andrew McLean Galloway IV on June 6, 1985 in Ayr, Scotland. He began his wrestling career in 2001 and made his WWE Debut in 2007. In 2009, he was using a gimmick called ‘ The Chosen One ’. He also became Intercontinental Champion as well as a Tag Team Champion with the same gimmick. In 2014, he was released from WWE after being in a group called 3MB. McIntyre went back on the Indie Circuit and joined promotions such as ICW ( Insane Championship Wrestling ) , Evolve Wrestling, WCPW ( What Culture Pro Wrestling ) , and soon joined the TNA Impact roster. He became champion in each of those promotions. McIntyre made his return to WWE in 2017 on the NXT brand and became champion there. Nevertheless, he returned to the main roster in 2018 to become a Tag Team Champion alongside Dolph Ziggler. He won the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. He also is the winner of the 2020 Royal Rumble. Drew is the first British and Scottish world champion in WWE. He is also a Triple Crown Champion with the company. He was inducted into the ICW Hall of Fame in 2018. McIntyre will be competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest at Clash At The Castle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Piper Niven was born Kimberly Benson on May 6, 1991 in Kilbirnie , Scotland. She made her wrestling debut in 2007. Niven made her WWE debut in 2017 as a part of the Mae Young Classic, however , she was signed to the company in 2019. She performed under the name, Doudrop during the Thunderdome era in WWE from 2021-2022. Niven was known as Viper during her ICW run from 2013 to 2019. She is also a two time Women’s Champion for the promotion. She also had a title shot for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship during her run with ICW as well. Thus, she also had a run in Japan when she wrestled for The Art Of Stardom. She is a one time champion for the promotion alongside Iyo Sky and HZK. She is also a one time SWA World Champion. Niven also participated in the British Boot Camp for TNA Impact Wrestling. Niven made her NXT UK debut in 2019 when she called out Rhea Ripley. This, her first televised match happened the same year for WWE Worlds Collide against Zelina Vega. She won the match. She is a two time 24/7 Champion and one time Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Chelsea Green. She will be competing for the WWE Women’s Championship against Bayley at Clash At The Castle.
My Final Thoughts :
This first part was very interesting to write about. I love all three of these wrestlers a lot. I also think that Roddy Piper is the greatest Heel of all time. Getting to learn about all three of the wrestlers I featured was amazing too. I’ll be writing more about Scottish wrestlers soon.
Love You All,
- Kay

The Shield 🤜🏻👊🏼🤛🏻
It all started 11 years ago
credit: @romanreigns.mz
🎥credit: @_revx7_
The Shield was a professional wrestling stable in WWE that consisted of Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. The group debuted on November 18, 2012 at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. The Shield was a dominant force in six-man tag team matches with an undefeated televised streak lasting from December 2012 to May 2013, during which they scored a victory at WrestleMania 29. In May 2013 at Extreme Rules, all three members of The Shield won a championship, with Ambrose winning the United States Championship while Rollins and Reigns captured the WWE Tag Team Championship. Rollins and Reigns were WWE Tag Team Champions until October 2013, and Ambrose was United States Champion until May 2014, which was a record reign for the WWE version of the championship. As a Shield member, Reigns gained prominence by setting and equaling elimination records at the 2013 Survivor Series and the 2014 Royal Rumble events.
They wrestled in the main event of numerous Raw and SmackDown television shows and headlined one pay-per-view, the 2014 Payback event, which was their final match as a trio until 2017. Rollins left the group on June 2, when he attacked Ambrose and Reigns with a chair and sided with The Authority. Ambrose and Reigns with a chair and sided with The Authority. Ambrose and Reigns went on their own ways as singles wrestlers later that month, marking the end of The Shield.
Following the group's dissolution, each member of The Shield went on to become a world champion. All three reigned as WWE World Heavyweight Champion within a three-minute span at the end of the 2016 Money in the Bank event: Rollins defeated Reigns for the championship and then Ambrose cashed
in his Money in the Bank briefcase (which he won earlier that night) on Rollins to win the title.
In the lead-up to the 2017 SummerSlam event, Ambrose and Rollins reunited and captured the Raw Tag Team Championship from Cesaro and Sheamus. Then on the October 9 episode of Raw, the trio reunited to feud with The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus. In December 2017, the team dissolved once again after Ambrose suffered an injury. Following Ambrose's return from injury the previous week, The Shield reunited once again on August 20, 2018 episode of Raw to prevent Braun Strowman from cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Reigns. However, in October that same year, The Shield disbanded following Reigns' hiatus over his leukemia rediagnosis and Ambrose's betrayal towards Rollins. After Reigns returned in February 2019 and announced that his leukemia was in remission, the trio reunited and won the main event match of Fastlane that same month. Although this was promoted as The Shield's final match together, they reunited at the special event The Shield's Final Chapter, Ambrose's final WWE match due to not renewing his contract.

Hardened by a career defined by betrayal, disappointment and underestimation, Becky Lynch decided to take her destiny into her own hands and force her way to the top of the mountain by throwing off anyone, friend or foe, who was blocking her path. The results speak for themselves. Lynch gave the Women’s division a shot in the arm in 2018 when she won her second SmackDown Women’s Championship, leading an invasion of Raw that left Ronda Rousey demoralized and humiliated — this despite Becky suffering a concussion in the process. The Man made her mark again by winning the 2019 Royal Rumble Match to earn a World Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 35. That opportunity eventually became the first women’s main event in WrestleMania history where The Man defeated Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to claim both titles in their Winner Take All Match. Becky would go on to become the longest-reigning Raw Women's Champion in history, fending off challenges from the likes of Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, and pretty much anyone in a pair of boots who was brazen enough to stand in her way. Her reign finally came to an end on the May 11, 2020, edition of Raw when Lynch announced that she was pregnant and relinquished her cherished prize. At SummerSlam 2021, though, Becky returned in epic fashion, entering the ring after Sasha Banks was deemed unable to challenge SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair, knocking would-be replacement Carmella out of the ring and overcoming The EST of WWE in an impromptu matchup to become a five-time Women's Champion. A short time later, Lynch proved that her star was burning as bright as ever when she was drafted to Raw with the first pick in the 2021 WWE Draft. In 2023, Lynch would become a Triple Crown Champion after she won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Lita.

BRAY WYATT (Born Wyndham Lawrence Rotunda,1987-Died August 24th 2023,at 36.Heart attack).American professional wrestler. He was best known for his tenures in WWE from 2010 to 2021, and then again from 2022 until his death in 2023, where he performed under the ring name Bray Wyatt.
Rotunda was a third-generation professional wrestler, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan, his father Mike Rotunda, and two of his uncles – Barry and Kendall Windham. His younger brother Taylor Rotunda is also a professional wrestler, best known as Bo Dallas. Alongside his brother, he held the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship twice while in WWE's then–developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where he wrestled under various ring names between 2008 and 2012. He briefly wrestled on WWE's main roster from 2010 to 2011 under the ring name Husky Harris, most notably as a member of The Nexus.
After returning to WWE's developmental territory, which had been rebranded as NXT, Rotunda was repackaged as Bray Wyatt. Portrayed as the villainous leader of The Wyatt Family, a bayou-dwelling cult, he returned to the main roster alongside Wyatt Family members Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in 2013. He subsequently became a three-time world champion in WWE, holding the WWE Championship once and the Universal Championship twice. He also held the SmackDown Tag Team Championship (with Luke Harper and Randy Orton under the Freebird Rule) and the Raw Tag Team Championship (with Matt Hardy) once each.
After a hiatus from August 2018 to April 2019, Wyatt returned with a new gimmick. Portrayed as suffering from a transformative multiple personality disorder, he randomly switched back and forth between two characters: his "good side" of Bray Wyatt, a Mr. Rogers–esque children's TV host, and his bad side of The Fiend, a grotesque horror-themed monster clown. He was released from WWE in July 2021 but returned at Extreme Rules in October 2022, with a new character that claimed to be his "real-life" self but gradually re-incorporated his multiple personalities in addition to some new ones. After one televised match at the 2023 Royal Rumble, he went on a medical hiatus in February due to contracting COVID-19 and died of a heart attack that August.Bray Wyatt - Wikipedia

I'm really trying to decide if I want to watch Royal Rumble tonight or not. I haven't watched WWE since I'm guessing maybe 2018 or 2019. I have access to Peacock, but it has ads, so I don't even know if it will work on that subscription level. Anybody know if it will?

Torrie Wilson the professional wrestler, personal trainer and model.
You can thank Wikipedia for that one. And Google search results for the images I will be using of her haha. Regular camera pictures of my real merchandise will be used too, along with screenshots from Torrie Wilson’s social media, etc. I’ve sort of built my own little collection on my other phone- a tracfone Nokia model. It’s not much but that’s sort of my point; if you have to be cheap then do it! I’m talking about your platform and resources. It’s okay to be a little crafty. You don’t always have to be official. Good luck! That’s what I’m doing to be handy with the tools I’ve got to use as I explore all this newness.
Anyway, Torrie Wilson is my favorite person in the whole world basically! Favorite WWE superstar as a diva. And probably favorite celebrity period. Definitely favorite all time professional wrestler. I figure I’d give this blog to her since she’s a big part of my story. I personally am not that great at speaking. Like Torrie, I’m a little shy. But I’ll do what I can in giving the “abouts her” or, whatever you might say, justice. She reminds me a lot of myself when I explore her on social media. It’s very refreshing because I already like Torrie so much. I guess you could call me a mark. Torrie might as well be the real life Barbie doll I never really let go of as a little child. I play with her all the time.
Tumblr media
Fitness is pretty much her life. I’ve always looked up to Torrie for fitspiration and motivational talk ever since times got challenging in my life with the human trafficking. Torrie has actually spoken up pro in anti human trafficking. That’s really cool. She’s always bringing up a good point. Too many for me to keep track of honestly. But they are strong points I believe in wholeheartedly and could see myself saying, that I hold onto subconsciously. I do similar work that Torrie does but I’ve been stuck on working on myself first and foremost. So for now I choose to just live by it and practice the preach. Live by light. Being spiritual is something Torrie Wilson is about too. Star seeds you might call us. Spreading the good vibes and tapping into that let loose way of delivering the message with positivity is just a little something the soul’s love to cater to those seeking the guidance does for the world that needs it. But she’s very straightforward. Works out like super serious. I should know, I’ve done a fitness challenge Torrie Wilson hosted when she did work with this group called Sage Spot. One of many project gigs picked up by Torrie. I think that’s what she does in life but with many of them. Always something new and refreshing every so often with her. I haven’t taken advantage of all the different fitness and professional wrestling stuff she’s offered since leaving WWE because I hadn’t the time or the money to get involved. I’m trying to play catch up with the fitness work out stuff. WWE, I haven’t got to see any of Torrie’s recent matches and appearances except for what YouTube barely has plus her first Royal Rumble match and some of the hall of fame speech from the induction in 2019.
Tumblr media
With a nearly ten year career before making some rare appearances in WWE later, Torrie Wilson still shares entertaining moments that are so sexy and fun for me to watch even to this day. Known for not being the best wrestler but more eye candy and valeting, Torrie has a certain value to her that makes her one of a kind in the industry. That’s why I think she made an epic hall of famer! There’s so much more to know about this woman but I’m not going to pretend I can run through everything, at least not right away.
I’m applying some life coaching out of my human trafficking drama. And part of the human trafficking drama was to be a success story from a possible nice comeback into the entertainment industry through professional wrestling as I’m a former sports entertainer for a brief time in my life. My peak was in Los Angeles when I had an opportunity to impress WWE as I was under their radar unofficially being trained by former WWE superstar Brian Kendrick. It was there I found myself remembering how much I loved Torrie Wilson and actually found her (and Barbie Blank fka Kelly Kelly) to be the one inspiring piece of the business I needed to envision myself as I would present myself for business proposals to continue with my shot for a WWE tryout. But I got lost in the human trafficking scene.
Tumblr media
I tended to look up to Torrie Wilson’s storylines for a relation that felt compatible and out of anybody, it just happened to be her. My favorite all time wrestler. It’s the perfection in her storylines and character that made me feel like I had a mirror to help keep me going strong as I went through some real trials after I left Los Angeles. I was learning more about the truths of true love and where the heart is in a home. While continuing to be me. And because of who Torrie Wilson is, I can basically say I stayed true to me and I am just like her with no apologies. Same drama as her WWE career in many ways. Very pretty. Maybe I’ll tell you about WCW someday.
I couldn’t have a story in mind for Wheels On Deck without Torrie either, obviously. That’s why you’ll see her in my blogs and social media so much. I’ve got this! I’m Torrie Wilson haha! To a core. Wheels On Deck been in the works much like I have as I’ve been holding onto myself and applying myself to my obstacles and fun. But facing the challenges and the drama is the fun I wrestle with anyway. Much like it’s fun to start this blog but I am so not a writer normally so this is taking much effort!
But the story has to start somewhere, right? Plus I’m having to get use to calling myself Barbie boy out loud. That way this whole concept will eventually catch on. Especially for what’s confidential. That world “confidential” is inspired and comes from a WWE episode of a show called Confidential that really made me tell myself “she’s the one I admire!” when I first started watching WWE and got to see more of Torrie. It was her life before she became famous. And this was only a brush of who she is and what the two time Playboy cover girl was about. I tried to mention most what IS the general information off the top of my head as you’re only getting hints of me too in the beginning of Wheels On Deck. It’s part of the sorority/fraternity rules that I came up with in my concept of fun as I go in the current moments. It’s all a little silly but that’s to keep this world a little carefree. But yeah, Torrie Wilson is the one I play with in Wheels On Deck. Thanks for touring.

IS ROMAN REIGNS A LEGEND?
Tumblr media
THE RISE OF ROMAN REIGNS A LOOK AT HIS JOURNEY TO THE TOP The Rise of Roman Reigns: A Look at His Journey to the Top: Roman Reigns, born Leati Joseph Anoa'i, is a name that has become synonymous with the world of professional wrestling. With his chiseled physique, undeniable charisma, and impressive in-ring skills, Reigns has captured the hearts of fans all over the world. But is he a legend in the making? Let's take a closer look at his journey to the top and find out.   Reigns comes from a long line of wrestling royalty, with his father and uncle being WWE Hall of Famers. However, his path to success was not handed to him on a silver platter. He had to work hard and prove himself every step of the way. After playing college football and a brief stint in the NFL, Reigns decided to follow in his family's footsteps and pursue a career in wrestling.   He started his journey in WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, where he honed his skills and developed his character. It wasn't long before he made his main roster debut as a member of the popular faction, The Shield. Alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, Reigns quickly became a fan favorite and a force to be reckoned with in the ring.   But it wasn't until 2015 that Reigns truly began to rise to the top. He won the Royal Rumble match and earned a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31. However, his victory was met with mixed reactions from the fans. Some saw him as the next big thing, while others saw him as a product of nepotism. This backlash only fueled Reigns to work harder and prove his doubters wrong.   At WrestleMania 31, Reigns faced off against the legendary Brock Lesnar for the championship. It was a hard-fought battle, but in the end, Reigns emerged victorious, solidifying his spot as the top guy in WWE. This was just the beginning of his journey to becoming a legend.   Over the next few years, Reigns continued to dominate the WWE landscape. He held multiple championships, headlined numerous pay-per-view events, and had memorable feuds with some of the biggest names in the industry. But it wasn't just his in-ring accomplishments that made him stand out. Reigns also showed his versatility by excelling in both singles and tag team competition, proving that he was a well-rounded performer.   However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Reigns. In 2018, he was diagnosed with leukemia and had to take a hiatus from wrestling to focus on his health. This was a difficult time for Reigns, but he showed incredible strength and resilience by publicly announcing his diagnosis and vowing to return to the ring. And return he did, in 2019, Reigns made his comeback and once again proved that he was a force to be reckoned with.   Today, Reigns is at the top of his game. He is the current Universal Champion and has been on a dominant run, defeating some of the biggest names in the industry. But what sets him apart from other top stars is his ability to connect with the audience. Reigns has a natural charisma and a commanding presence that makes fans want to root for him, even when he's playing the villain.   So, is Roman Reigns a legend? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure, he has all the makings of one. From his impressive in-ring skills to his undeniable charisma, Reigns has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with. And with his journey far from over, there's no telling what the future holds for this rising star. BREAKING DOWN ROMAN REIGNS IN RING SKILLS AND SIGNATURE MOVES Breaking Down Roman Reigns' In-Ring Skills and Signature Moves: Roman Reigns, also known as "The Big Dog," has been a dominant force in the world of professional wrestling for over a decade. With his impressive physique, powerful presence, and undeniable charisma, Reigns has captured the hearts of fans all over the world. But is he truly a legend in the making? Let's break down his in-ring skills and signature moves to find out.   First and foremost, Reigns' physicality is what sets him apart from other wrestlers. Standing at 6'3" and weighing in at 265 pounds, he is a formidable opponent in the ring. His muscular build and athletic abilities make him a force to be reckoned with. But it's not just his size that makes him stand out, it's his agility and speed that truly make him a remarkable athlete.   One of Reigns' signature moves is the Superman Punch. This move involves him leaping into the air and delivering a powerful punch to his opponent's face. It's a move that requires both strength and precision, and Reigns executes it flawlessly every time. The crowd goes wild every time he lands this move, and it's become a staple in his arsenal.   Another move that Reigns is known for is the Spear. This move involves him charging at his opponent and tackling them to the ground with full force. It's a move that requires a lot of power and momentum, and Reigns has perfected it over the years. His Spear is so impactful that it often leaves his opponents stunned and unable to get back up.   But it's not just his physicality and signature moves that make Reigns a legend. It's his ability to tell a story in the ring. Every match he's in, he brings a level of intensity and emotion that captivates the audience. Whether he's playing the hero or the villain, Reigns knows how to connect with the crowd and keep them on the edge of their seats.   One of the most memorable moments in Reigns' career was his match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33. The buildup to this match was intense, with Reigns being portrayed as the arrogant and disrespectful young wrestler who was challenging the legendary Undertaker. The match itself was a rollercoaster of emotions, with Reigns delivering a heartbreaking farewell to The Undertaker after defeating him. It was a moment that solidified Reigns' place as a top wrestler and showed his ability to tell a compelling story in the ring.   In addition to his in-ring skills, Reigns also possesses a natural charisma that draws people in. He has a commanding presence and a way of speaking that demands attention. Whether he's cutting a promo or engaging with fans, Reigns has a way of connecting with people and making them believe in him.   But what truly sets Reigns apart from other wrestlers is his resilience. Despite facing numerous setbacks and challenges in his career, he has always managed to come back stronger. From battling leukemia to facing criticism from fans, Reigns has never let anything hold him back. He continues to push forward and prove his doubters wrong, showing true determination and perseverance.   In conclusion, is Roman Reigns a legend? Based on his in-ring skills, signature moves, storytelling abilities, charisma, and resilience, it's safe to say that he is well on his way to becoming one. He has already left a lasting impact on the world of professional wrestling, and there's no doubt that he will continue to do so for years to come. So let's sit back, enjoy the ride, and watch as Roman Reigns cements his place in wrestling history. THE IMPACT OF ROMAN REIGNS ON THE WWE UNIVERSE The Impact of Roman Reigns on the WWE Universe: Roman Reigns, born Leati Joseph Anoa'i, is a name that has become synonymous with the world of professional wrestling. From his early days as a member of the famous Anoa'i wrestling family to his current status as one of the biggest stars in the WWE, Reigns has made a lasting impact on the industry. But the question remains, is he a legend?   To answer this question, we must first understand what it means to be a legend in the world of professional wrestling. A legend is someone who has not only achieved great success in the ring, but has also left a lasting impact on the fans and the industry as a whole. They are the ones who are remembered for their contributions, their larger-than-life personas, and their ability to captivate audiences with their performances.   In this sense, Roman Reigns has undoubtedly made a significant impact on the WWE Universe. From his debut in 2012 as a member of The Shield to his current reign as the Universal Champion, Reigns has consistently been in the spotlight and has never failed to deliver. His in-ring skills, combined with his natural charisma and commanding presence, have made him a fan favorite and a top draw for the company.   But it's not just his in-ring abilities that have made Reigns a legend. It's his journey and his resilience that have truly captured the hearts of the WWE Universe. In 2018, Reigns announced that he was battling leukemia and would have to take a hiatus from wrestling to focus on his health. This news shocked the world and left fans devastated. But true to his warrior spirit, Reigns returned to the ring in 2019, stronger and more determined than ever.   His return was met with an outpouring of love and support from fans all over the world. Reigns' story of overcoming adversity and his unwavering determination to succeed has inspired countless individuals, both inside and outside the wrestling world. He has become a symbol of strength and resilience, and his impact on the WWE Universe goes beyond the realm of professional wrestling.   Moreover, Reigns' impact on the industry can also be seen in the way he has elevated the careers of his opponents. His matches with the likes of John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Daniel Bryan have been some of the most memorable and talked-about in recent years. Reigns has a unique ability to bring out the best in his opponents and create unforgettable moments in the ring.   But perhaps the most significant impact Reigns has had on the WWE Universe is his role as a role model. As a father and a family man, Reigns has shown that it's possible to balance a successful career with personal responsibilities. He has also used his platform to raise awareness for important causes, such as cancer research and supporting children's hospitals.   In conclusion, while it may be too early to label Roman Reigns as a legend in the world of professional wrestling, there is no denying the impact he has had on the WWE Universe. From his in-ring performances to his inspiring journey and his role as a role model, Reigns has left an indelible mark on the industry. And as he continues to dominate the WWE, there is no doubt that his legacy will only continue to grow. So, is Roman Reigns a legend? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, he has already cemented his place in the hearts of fans and the history of the WWE. COMPARING ROMAN REIGNS TO OTHER WWE LEGENDS IS HE ON THE SAME LEVEL Comparing Roman Reigns to Other WWE Legends: Is He on the Same Level? Roman Reigns, born Leati Joseph Anoa'i, has been a dominant force in the WWE since his debut in 2012. With his impressive physique, powerful moves, and undeniable charisma, Reigns quickly rose through the ranks and became a fan favorite. However, as with any successful wrestler, there are always comparisons to other legends in the industry. Many fans and critics have debated whether Reigns can be considered a legend in the same league as other WWE greats. In this article, we will take a closer look at Reigns' career and compare him to other WWE legends to determine if he truly deserves the title of a legend.   One of the most important factors in determining a wrestler's status as a legend is their championship reigns. Reigns has held the WWE Championship three times, the Universal Championship twice, and the United States Championship once. While these are impressive accomplishments, they pale in comparison to other legends like John Cena, who has held the WWE Championship a record 16 times, or The Rock, who has held the title 10 times. However, it is worth noting that Reigns' championship reigns have been more recent and in a time where the competition in the WWE is at its peak. He has also held the Universal Championship for a record-breaking 434 days, solidifying his dominance in the ring.   Another aspect that sets legends apart from other wrestlers is their ability to connect with the audience. Reigns' character has evolved over the years, from being a member of The Shield to his current role as the "Tribal Chief." While he has faced backlash from fans in the past, his recent character development has been well-received by the WWE Universe. Reigns' natural charisma and mic skills have also improved, making him a captivating presence on the screen. However, when compared to legends like The Undertaker or Stone Cold Steve Austin, Reigns still has a long way to go in terms of connecting with the audience on a deeper level.   In terms of in-ring skills, Reigns has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with. His signature moves, such as the Spear and the Superman Punch, have become iconic in the WWE. He has also had some memorable matches, including his WrestleMania main event against Brock Lesnar and his recent feud with his cousin, Jey Uso. However, when compared to legends like Shawn Michaels or Bret Hart, Reigns' in-ring abilities may not be at the same level. This is not to say that Reigns is not a skilled wrestler, but rather that he still has room for growth and improvement in this aspect.   One of the most important qualities of a legend is their impact on the industry. Reigns' impact can be seen in the way he has elevated the status of other wrestlers, such as Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre. He has also been a part of some of the most memorable storylines in recent years, including his ongoing feud with Edge and Daniel Bryan. However, when compared to legends like Hulk Hogan or The Rock, Reigns' impact may not be as significant. This is not to say that he has not made an impact, but rather that it may take more time to solidify his place in WWE history.   In conclusion, while Roman Reigns has undoubtedly had a successful career in the WWE, it may be too soon to label him as a legend. He has all the potential to become one, but he still has some areas where he can improve and grow. Only time will tell if Reigns will join the ranks of other WWE legends, but one thing is for sure, he has already left a lasting impact on the industry and has the potential to achieve even greater success in the future. Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (358): Fri 10th Mar 2023
Today I did 100 weight lifts, stomach crunches, kettlebell swings, grip strengtheners and push-ups. I've left it way too late but I at least want to lose a little bit of weight before I head off to America because with the food over there being so good I might just double my weight by the time the trip is over. Speaking of my Mania rip I was delighted to learn that the first entrant into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023 will be the legendary Rey Mysterio! Awesome awesome awesome. When I first got into wrestling the cruiserweights were the ones who blew my mind and there was none better than Rey Rey. So happy I’ll be there to see this legend get inducted
Tuned into the New Japan Cup Night Three. I was surprised to see they'd booked Kyle Fletcher go over Yoshi-Hashi. Now both members of Aussie Open are in the next round. Typically in big tournaments or in multi man matches like the Royal Rumble tag team wrestlers are thrown in there to make up the numbers and don't contribute much so to see two members of a team get wins over two notable singes stars is quite rare. The main event pitted Shingo Takagi against Aaron Henare. I haven't seen that much of Henare since he new gimmick and joined up with the United Empire. My abiding memory is of a match he had in 2019 againt Lance Archer which was quite lengthy, maybe 15 minutes and for the whole match Henare got the shit beat out of him but kept kicking out which I thought was a very odd booking decision and was eventually screaming at the guy to stay the fuck down so didn't have high hopes for him going forward. Although I love Takagi I think he's been quite poorly booked in the last few years which is surprising since he had a lengthy run with the world title. He never really felt like New Japan were behind him as champion it was more like they were putting the belt on him to hold while the regular main eventers finished their feuds so one of them could get the belt back. I think that when he won the title he should have made some sort of change to symbolize his main event player status. A new look or new nickname or something to set himself apart from junior heavyweight Takagi. Thinking about it what would have really solidified him as a longtime main event heel would have been if he'd been the one to turn on Naito instead of Evil. Shingo and Henare had a decent match with Henare getting a decent amount of offense early on, showcasing his new Thai kick boxing influenced striking style.
