Ok so I was rewatching Merlin and I really thought the idea of magic being outlawed was really cool. So I made a whole alternate fantasy AU for it lmaooo it always starts like this. I drew this in the middle of my additional math class

Context!! Tsukasa's a knight assigned to the princess, Nene. In a royal family and country where the punishment for magic is death.

Emu (who's not even from the kingdom. She's literally there to visit her friend, Tsukasa) was clumsy, accidentally used magic in front of people which got her put on execution row. Tsukasa, even though a royal knight, is not about to sit around and watch his best friend get killed, what?? No way??

It's still a bit. OOC right now. Because I'm dead tired to flesh it out fully but !! Crumbs....

I want to make Opposite/Evil! Wonderlands x Showtime...

Tsusaka; bold, extroverted, and confident ==> mild-mannered, shy, and insecure. His heart belongs onstage, but he doesn't think he has the skill or experience to make anyone aside from his sister happy, so he's made himself content with playing small roles. Still, he's a sentimental guy who can't help but want to help a small girl close out her favorite stage.

Emu; enthusiastic, intuitive, childish ==> Somber, skeptical, and mature. After having her ideas beaten down again and again, with little support, the only thing Emu wants is to give the Wonder Stage one last, proper show. But maybe there's something waiting for them beyond curtain call?

Rui; mischievous, inventive, eccentric ==> Goody-two-shoes, by-the-book, and dime-a-dozen. Rui makes himself play it safe with others so he can play with others, and is able to pull off perfect recreations of the tried and true. He doesn't stand out much, but perhaps he can inch out from behind the scenes?

Nene; Grounded, introverted, careful ==> Daydreamer, extroverted, and carefree. Nene sings often, wrapped up in her own peaceful little world, and doesn't mind being heard by others. She's happy to help out Emu honor a place she loves so much.

I was thinking about what the opposite of "Wonderlands x Showtime" would be... So what about "Curtain/Call Finale" or "Encore/Finale"and maybe there would be an "Encore Sekai" that comes from Emu's feelings?

Mafuyu skids to a halt, boots sliding across the marble of the derelict throne room’s floor. They narrow their eyes, frowning as they wipe the trickle of steadily drying blood from their broken nose off of their face. They growl under their breath, lifting their sword in front of their face, ready to block the next attack, ignoring the twinge of pain from their broken rib; they'd been slammed into the wall early on in the fight. “Must you really push yourself so hard, General?” the sorcerer mocks from somewhere above; he’s likely standing on the balcony overlooking the main court, yet Mafuyu can’t see him. The bastard’s masking the noise of his movement with muffling spells.

They leap to the right as a blast of crimson light slams into the floor where they were just standing. They force a cruel laugh. “You ought to focus on your attacks, not stealth. That’s your problem- you waste energy on masking your sound, yet it drains you, doesn’t it?” they say, almost as if they’re simply discussing the weather, not sparring for some probably fictitious title that would take them from mere soldiers to the honour that the top ranking possible for the Imperial Soldiers bestowed. Or Rui thinks that's what they're sparring over. Mafuyu’s half-brother is a fool. Stubborn and extremely powerful, yes, but an illogical fool who would achieve his goals rather than making sure his health doesn’t suffer any more than it already is. Has he not noticed the Yoisaki emblem embroidered on their uniform? It was a recent thing, but...

Rui doesn't reply, simply reappearing in front of Mafuyu and shoving them onto the ground. They glare up at him as he places one of his feet of their dominant arm and presses his weight onto it, rendering both that arm and their sword useless until he moves. "I always knew you were weak, brother," Rui croons, a devilish smirk on his face, golden-brown eyes alight with mirth, "but never this weak. You're stronger than me, skilled with both magic and the art of the sword, yet I can easily overpower you with a simple attack. Strange, isn't it? I thought you'd be better than this."

Mafuyu scoffs. "I'm not weak. You've done something to your power, haven't you? Amplified it." they reply quietly. Rui's magic, when visible, always gave off a violet glow. Only the Emperor's mages' spells were crimson, and that was through the dark magic they were permitted to use. Sorcerers like Rui aren't physically strong or mentally stable enough to- using it could be deadly. Rui opens his mouth to reply, only to stagger backwards as harsh coughs wrack his body. Mafuyu jumps up, but doesn't attack at first. But then instinct takes over when Rui stops, a thin line of blood trickling from his lips. They take the opportunity to press their sword against his throat, cutting deep. Rui freezes, before grinning and summoning an orb of that deadly crimson light. "Really going to kill me, brother?" he mocks. Mafuyu doesn't reply, ignoring the lump in their throat. Slowly, they pull their sword away, ignoring the tug of disgust in the stomach when they take in the slit along Rui's throat. They swallow, sheathing their sword. "No. I'm meant to teach you a lesson, Rui. I'm not on your side." they mutter.

Rui stops, the crimson orb fading. His eyes shift to Mafuyu's uniform, widening in recognition when he sees the carnation emblem of the Yoisaki kingdom, mumbling a soft "Oh..." before finally stumbling away, face pale. Mafuyu turns on their heel, rushing away.

They are already out of the throne room when Rui Kamishiro, sorcerer for the Emperor, best of his year, famed across the entire empire for being damn-near invincible, collapses to the floor.

Pity they don't notice the gunslinger and his shy assistant sneaking into the room, the greenish glow of a healing spell on his fingertips.

was talking with some online friends of mine about my brew shortly after my post about fairy rui and did eventually manage to come up with something (i will still be trying to draw the requests i got though because i do like them)

so uh…as i like to call it bite sized fantasy au, they’re all very very little critters

splitting them into 4 species! fairies, elves, gnomes, and water pixies. all live in different parts of this forest. fairies live in flowers, water pixies in this one pond (the fairy flowers surround this pond so both species know each other well and have an alliance), elves are hidden in this like uh..mushroom village in the forest, and gnomes managed to make little homes underground.

i think my role list will be this:

fairies - honami, airi, akito (please it’ll be funny), rui, ena

water pixies - shiho, shizuku, kohane, nene, kanade

elves - saki, haruka, toya, tsukasa, mizuki

gnomes - ichika, minori, kohane, emu, mafuyu

i think for the most part plot wise if i write this it’ll mostly be from rui’s perspective

A terribly long Ruikasa AU.

This is a prsk fantasy au.

Rui was the god of the moon, Tsukasa was but a mere villager. Saki had always enjoyed the moon festival, the one time a year the moon would descend to his subjects and say hello to all. Tsukasa thought this was fake so his sister dragged him along, low and behold the moonwas real, and to Tsukasa was the most beautiful man alive. The two met, but Tsukasa was afraid to confess his love, due to the whole idea of being “Gay” being rather horrible. Turns out, Rui was gay and the two get together. So the moon and his lover live in peace, until one year. Tsukasa plans to propose. That year, when the moon descended, he was assassinated and stabbed in the back by Ena Shinonome, sister of Akito Shinonome, a knight. Ena had also killed Saki, Tsukasa’s sister. So, after much grieving Tsukasa goes to become a knight to prevent anyone close to him from dying ever again. Tsukasa was left with one thing left of Rui, a plush of him. All the while the opposing kingdom’s tyrant had been ruling. He was trying to find his long lost lover, which he had many photos of and a plush. Tsukasa eventually visits the tyrant, and… it turns out the tyrant was the moon’s reincarnation, gone mad after losing his lover.

The PartyxParty AU!

Emu's grandfather could've left a treasure map behind and she decides that she wants to get out of the house and start looking for what he had marked on the map

Along the way she meets traveling songstress Nene and Emu decides that she likes performing tricks while she sings. They start attracting attention and eventually catch Rui's attention when he finds out where they're going. Since, in the amount of time between Emu's grandfather's passing and her leaving, the Dark Lord has taken up residence in that area. He thinks it's amusing and decides to join them because he's been researching the magical properties of rocks for his experiments. He's already been preforming solo anyway

Tsukasa catches all of their attention by being too nice. He sees one of their performances and decides to pay they back with a meal where he starts bragging about his own acting. The others don't get the chance to see it immediately but Emu's the party leader and she decides that she wants him to join. Nene's skeptical but they get good meals out of it so it's ok

They end up being a little surprised when the guy who almost fainted at a large bug monster ends up being the supposed Dark Lord they kept hearing about. Turns out there wasn't really a Dark Lord and it was just people spreading rumors about the area because Tsukasa was being dramatic whenever he wanted to practice. Rui, Emu, and Meiko who often ended up as their supplier, though it was hilarious. Meiko knew the whole time but didn't bother telling anyone because she wanted to see their reactions

Wonderlands x Showtime Adjacent Troupe

A group of performers and entertainers that want to bring smiles and laughter to the audience.

Ootori Emu - Troupe Leader. Princess. Wants to save the Wonder Stage and bring smiles to everyone.

Hinomori Shizuku - Knight Captain. Main Actress. Wants to be able to make Shiho smile again - remembers how much Shiho enjoyed stories of fantasy and dare-do-wells.

Azusawa Kohane - Hunter. Actress, Partial Script Writer. Doesn’t really seem to have a dream of her own, but was captivated by one of the troupes performances and found herself wanting to do the same but lacks the confidence to put herself out there.

Akiyama Mizuki - Witch of the Woods. Costume Designer, Partial Script Writer. Wants to be able to express themselves through their fashion and found themselves inspired further into doing so by one of the troupes performances.

SEKAI: Fantasy SEKAI

Can also be called the Storybook SEKAI.

The main meeting point of the SEKAI tends to be the Castle, but it does expand out into a small Kingdom Town as well as a forest.

The residents of the SEKAI seems to be a mix of plushies and bipedal animals.

First Virtual Singers

Hatsune Miku - Story Teller. Purposely looks like she doesn’t fit into the SEKAI as she is not part of the story, only the one telling it. Always found in the Castle’s Library, writing or reading or sorting/tidying the Library. Is always excited when the others come to her to tell her something.

Kagamine Rin - Knights Apprentice. Looks up to Shizuku and aspires to be just as strong, beautiful and confidence as she is. Does eventually notice that Shizuku is all confidence and has her own issues but Rin promises that she will be Shizuku's strength. Is kind of like the groups one man hype squad, but can be a bit suffocating in her support.

Virtual Singers

Order of Appearance (StC)

KAITO - Wandering Bard. Represents confidence. Was the one who specifically helped Kohane through her confidence issue during the main story and allowed her the moment to catch herself and sing from her heart. He is always found in the Woods and sometimes in the Town, rarely ever comes to the Castle. He never seeks out the others and instead allows the SEKAI and their feelings to bring them to him if they’re ever needing a confidence boost or simply someone to talk too about their struggles. Mostly always seen strumming on a lute but can appear with other instruments too. (Appears in Main Story)

Kagamine Len - Butler. The groups carer and everytime they arrive in SEKAI, he immediately appears with drinks ready for them whether they accept it or not. Despite being the one to take care of the troupe as part of his role, he always ensures the other that they don’t always have to be in service for everyone else. That is always okay to take break for themselves and allow their ‘mask’ to drop. And if not to people in the outside, at least to those in the SEKAI. However, his advice is very rarely ever taken but by GODS will he continue trying.

MEIKO - Merchant. Unsure exactly what her role is right now at this point but she’s always the one offering a smile and laughter to the others and will totally 100% try to convince them to buy something when they visit her shop

Megurine Luka - Evil Queen. Mizuki’s assigned distance partner. Similar to KAITO, she is always found in the Woods and sometimes in the Town. Has never appeared in the Castle since she was first introduced to the SEKAI. Mizuki is the only one who doesn’t seem to have trouble seeking her out. If the others seemed to be worried for Mizuki however, Luka will allow them to find her, otherwise, though not impossible, the others normally struggle to find her ever. Like Niigo MEIKO, she keeps her distance from the troupe and other VS’s, and always seems to question Mizuki’s willingness to ever tell anyone their secret.

So I had this AU idea that is idk complicated but I need to share it somehow.

So basically what if the unit leaders / sekai owners were spirits linked to their Sekai, that in this case is more like a domain.

Leonii's instead of a school would be a space like zone. Mmj's instead of a stage would be a sky, kinda similar to the background in "hear me hopeful show" set. Empty Sekai would stay kind of the same. I haven't had any ideas for street or wonderland Sekai.

The Sekai owners (or Sekai spirits) have all characteristics relevant to their Sekai.

Ichika is mostly made of stars and nebulae. With her hair and parts of her body moving and flowing around. She also has hollow eyes that light up with little stars when she's happy.

Minori Is a mix of an Angel and a light being. She's mostly made of light, but has a projection of her body making her look kinda like a biblically accurate angel? She has lots of feathers around her body and a bandage covering her eyes (that are completely made of blinding lights)

Kohane is made of coloured smokes, like the ones of spray pain bottles. She can change colour and size based on her appearance. She can also turn herself into graffiti. She does that a lot to blend in and hide.

Tsukasa shares a lot of characteristics with an hippogryph, with mane and wings of light/fire. He also has hooves instead of feet. Like. A mix of a phoenix and a Pegasus.

Mafuyu (not kanade BC mafuyu is the Sekai owner) is very similar to a banshee. Ghostly and transparent appearance, covered in veils to hide herself and her suffering. She would also kinda look like a ragdoll, with parts of her body and face stitched together.

There are lots of legends about these sekais and Sekai spirits. It's said that if you're too passionate about something or too determined to reach a goal, you will get absorbed by one of these domains and eaten by the spirit. These Sekai spirits are also said to be lost kids with a big passion for something, but never managed to make it a thing.

So imagine the other members of the unit being so determined with their music, that one day they all wake up in this unknown unreal place and find basically a god just chilling there.

The Sekai spirits are all very lonely at the end and they just wanted someone to spend time with.

Ichika would at first be shy and try to not approach the rest of leoneed in fear of scaring them or be a burden, but in the end they would all try to make her smile and feel less lonely (Saki does the first steps), since it reminded them of their lost childhood friend.

Minori would immediately rush to get to know mmj. She gets captivated by all of them in a short time and would admire their beauty and their grace. At first mmj is kinda overwhelmed by this bright (eheh) presence, but they quickly start to love her. Haruka in particular, finding the way this spirit talks similar to the way one of her fans would write her letters.

Kohane would at first hide, scared of people she doesn't know, but would then slowly introduce herself only to an. An gets immediately a big liking of her, seeing in kohane the perfect partner she kept seeing in her dreams. When kohane gains more courage she shows herself to akitoya too. I also imagine this fun scene where an and kohane are talking, then akito reaches to an, kohane disappears and akito thinks an is crazy for talking alone.

Tsukasa would try to show off as the "mighty blazing Sekai spirit" but would cringefail anyways. Wxs seems unfazed by that, actually being interested in how tsukasa matches almost perfectly the description of the main character of a famous theatre show about a fantasy world.

Mafuyu hides, but not like kohane or Ichika. She wants to be alone. She accepted her fate of being forgotten and having to suffer alone. She tries to push the other members of niigo away, but they are resilient in trying to put an end to her pain (mostly kanade) because they know the same feeling. In the end mafuyu accepts their warmth.

Uhhh idk I think that's it. Sorry for the long yap, ideas kept flowing like a river. I might try to doodle something one day.

Fantasy au (I personally like combining the Valentine's/White Day and Kirapipi cards together) where Emu is a regressor and Meiko is her main caregiver (since Emu's a princess and Meiko was part of the royal staff) before she meets the rest of WxS.

Of course, the others help take care of her when she's small once she meets them, but once they realize they also regress too Meiko takes up looking after all four of her little adventurers <3

A chaotic project sekai au I've thought of

Hello again, everyone. I've decided to come back from the shadows to share my one of two fantasy aus that I have based on the newest wxs set (alongside some others)

So we focus on the story of Nene, a witch traveling in an attempt to find some rumored "legendary song" to help her friend Minori who accidentally made a mistake on a spell and accidentally cursed her voice away with the only cure being someone singing this song to them.

Along the way, Nene first meets Emu, a strong traveller who heard of Nene's goal and would like to assist her due to her own grandfather's lifelong dream of wanting to witness and learn this song.

They also encounter MEIKO! A pretty traveling merchant who is looking for a solid place to settle down her shop in. She also joins in on the travels, since maybe while they're looking for the song she can find a decent place to stay!

The trio continues, gathering Intel on the whereabouts of the song and getting to know eachother better before encountering Rui! A fairy sent by the newly found fairy princess Len to learn and study things around this land that could help them grow as a society.

As the group continues their travels they eventually find a nice seaside village. They're exhausted, they travelled for a while, so they need a break from everything. And then they meet Tsukasa, a normal guy who wants to collect shells on the beach since he finds joy in them (...right?)

He asks the group if they'd like to help him collect shells to take a nice relaxing trip with him, and while Nene thinks it's a waste of time, everyone else agreed to take a break and to do this fetch quest. So she reluctantly agrees and thinks nothing of it when the group leaves the town.

Until at a later day, they make it to a very distant area, and take a break at a nearby restaurant in the place. They immediately notice him, yet he's working as one of the many chefs of this place.

Everyone is confused. How did he get here? The village they met him at was so far away, how is he casually putting 110% into all of the meals he makes?

So basically, Tsukasa in this AU is like a NPC that is everywhere for no explainable reason. Wherever the group goes, he somehow is there as well. Going into a new village? They eventually bump into him, completely different outfit and job in hand. When he's asked how he can manage doing everything, he just claims that "Ahaha, I am just a person of many talents!" And never elaborates further. The group really wants to know how he manages to travel effortlessly and manage to remember all of these jobs, but they can't find any method to find out. They ask the villagers? They just shrug and don't have an idea. They ask his siblings, Saki and Toya? They don't have an explanation either, despite them being basically siblings!

So they take initiative and decide to make it a side quest to figure out how this multi talented man manages to exist anywhere and everywhere!

Some side points for this au

-More more jump is a full group of witches! They each specialize in different types of magic, and while they don't travel with Nene and the others, Nene can communicate with them and help eachother and any clues they find! They all communicate via bird messages :) (Haruka uses penguins)

-Len is indeed a pretty fairy princess! Originally, Rin was supposed to, but she didn't want to so he stepped up to the throne. He wears the prettiest of dresses!!

-Vivid bad squad is a group of bounty hunters, their bossman (Ken) asked them to search for this song in an attempt to help reawaken the long lost hype for his tavern. They basically act as a rival travelling group to Nene's!

-Leo/Need might seem like normal villager girls by day, but at night they dive into the Sea of Dreams! Working together, they make sure to help as many people as they can have good dreams while they sleep!

-Rumors of a mysterious group called "Nightcord" have been showing up often. Some people say they may take you to the afterlife. Others claim that they give you bad luck for the rest of your life. Some claim that they've been taken to a land of lost memories. Nobody truly knows for sure...

That's all I really have for right now. If I have any other ideas in the future I might make more posts related to this. Idk.

cpdb rui + nene cards and emu5 tsukasa + emu cards for the alien alien/niccori survey team/opera space opera “alien race w the goal to spread love and cheer because positive emotions are their society’s fuel (like monsters inc. laughter as a fuel) invasion for Benevolent Reasons” ruikasa/emunene au where emu+tsukasa crash land on earth and are found by rui+nene who have to hide them from authorities/fix their ship… maybe len as the alien ship AI rin as the AI rui made/found/whatever… do u see my vision… the dish I’m cooking up…

Assorted vague ideas that may or may not end up making the cut:

> CPDB cyberpunk dystopia being a result of emu’s grandpa giving earth (his favorite little planet) some technology because he was like surely the humans will use this to usher in a new era of peace and love 😊 (he was wrong)

> emu’s grandpa gave them souped up hyper competent chat gpt/ai to solve their more boring meaningless issues so they could focus on creating art and then capitalism ruined it 😔

> no I don’t have an agenda against ai generation what would make you think that (graphic design major being told to use generative AI because “that’s the future” when it Looks Like Shit)

> emu crash lands them on earth when they’re meant to be going elsewhere because she wanted to take “a quick teeny weeny detour” to look at her grandpa’s favorite planet (she knew something was wrong w it. Energy outputs were bad? Maybe the alien society wrote off earth as a lost cause) and tsukasa’s like no absolutely not (they wrestle with the controls -> crash land -> emu’s like oopsie daisy 😊 while tsukasa has a hysterical fit)

> if I want to be really evil emu’s grandpa could have died on earth and she wanted to see if he was alive? But I don’t want to hurt emu like that… I’d rather just go the path of her Really Really wanting to save earth. Au version of Wonderstage.

I’m going to go run directly into traffic.

> rui and nene live together (making money thru mechanics and programming). Nene has a shit load of arcade games that she and rui fixed up. Neither of them like how society is but they’re both kind of like “wtf can we even do” although rui does his guerrilla shows on the side (how he finds emu+tsukasa maybe?). Rui dragging himself home at 4 am wounded from nearly getting caught by security and nene’s like are u fucking kidding me.

> actually I think nene playing video games and making money by being a top player is a funnier idea than her helping rui with mechanics. She has some tech knowledge by virtue of living with him but she’s also rank #1 in several competitive games. Nene is the real bread winner in this household.

> I think nene should play video games with emu… emunene arcade date while ruikasa are in the workshop downstairs fixing up the ship (tsukasa is kinda useless he’s just micromanaging/doesn’t want to third wheel emunene because nene kept giving him death glares last time)
