So this is my first post! Just turned 40 and kind of looking back at the last 20 years and thinking it would be nice to document my life now. First and foremost, would not be alive today without my relationship with Jesus Christ and never ending support of a loving family. After graduating high school went to #leeuniversity where I played #rugby and studied Computers Information. At age 22 worked an international money transfer business that turned into #greendot. At age 24 worked as mortgage broker in Chicago. At age 26 moved home when mortgage crisis collapsed to Florida with no idea what to do with my life. Let a friend from high school sell me on franchise concept of GameStop and then spent next 5 years sitting in retail stores pretending to like video games to many eager youth. I sat everyday day dreaming about what it would be like to travel and see the world. After 5 years of misery, At age of 30ish, my brother and I came up with an idea to reach kids with positive message of Christianity through the game of basketball.. spent the next 10 years traveling all over the United States and the world putting on entertainment style basketball events with positive message called Court Kingz! Came to a cross road where the only way Court Kingz could provide a healthy financial income to both my brother and I and all the employees, we were going to need substantial 7 figure investment. Instead of waiting for this, I decided to learn coding and attended code schools. Which has landed me a career in software engineering the past 2 years.... so now I want to begin blogging everything from day trading, coding, cooking, basketball, dating, life in general .. I really am just doing this for myself and self growth!

This is a good way to work your buttocks area and also helps you stay safe by making the body work to position itself most effectively. It will help take the load off your spine. Shoes that fit properly are a great exercise tip. You should buy the shoes you're going to exercise in at the end of the day. Your feet swell over the course of the day, and they will do the same when you work out. There needs to be at least a half inch between your big toe and the shoe. You should have the capacity to move your toes. There are more than just advantages for your body when you maintain your fitness level. Regular exercise can also bring emotional benefits. It's important during any fitness routine to be sure you are not overworking your body. Take your heart rate the morning after you work out. When you are trying to start a fitness routine, try walking your dog. Dogs love going for walks, and they will keep you motivated by begging you for this every day. You should start small when beginning a new exercise program. Walk around a couple blocks and start to build from there. This camaraderie is one of the perks of having a dog. In the past, weight belts were routinely use. These days, they are reserved for extra-heavy duty lifting only. Overuse of belts can have detrimental effects. Some New Insights Into Efficient Systems Of Canada
The concept was simple: Interested parties pay the team however much they want to invest, plus a $50 service fee. Then, Cblocks purchases five random currencies on the customer's behalf, and loads them onto an encrypted USB stick that acts as a wallet. With just a website and some press coverage, the team made $55,000 selling these USB wallets — $32,000 of that in a 30 day period. "There's all these little obstacles that prevent normal people from getting started in cryptocurrencies. So what we do is allow people to choose what risk level they're happy with. And then we let them pay us," Bunsen tells Business Insider. But CBlocks came upon an obstacle of its own. High fees, and a lack of clarity around cryptocurrency regulations, left CBlocks in a legal gray area. Even its lawyers couldn't decide where CBlocks falls in terms of regulations. So Bunsen and his team decided to move the company to Canada. CBlocks was born out of a conversation at a Miami coding school Bunsen met his cofounders PK Banks and Mario Aguayo through the Miami, Florida-based code bootcamp Wyncode Academy, where they worked full-time. Bunsen described Banks as a former Wall Streeter who got bored and wanted to try something different before learning to code.

Tips To Help You With Vitamins And Minerals
Do you take a multivitamin or other supplement on a regular basis? Are you aware of the benefits that vitamins bring to you? Whether you're new to this or quite experienced, good nutrition is always something you can learn about. Read on to learn useful information on the subject. You have to know how your supplements interact to ensure they're being absorbed adequately. Iron is absorbed well with Vitamin C, but its absorption is inhibited by calcium. It's a good idea to drink some orange juice with your iron supplement while avoiding antacids and dairy products for at 30 minutes after taking iron. When it comes to having strong bones, calcium is key. You need Vitamin D to help your body absorb calcium. You can get vitamin D many ways, including sunlight, food, and supplements. These will help your body absorb calcium. If you take a supplement that contains fat, they are taken with food. Take them at mealtimes. Vitamins E, K and A are vitamins that do not absorb into the body without the help of food. Try to take them food that contains fat. At a time when health care is expensive, promoting good health is important and adding daily vitamins is a good start. They can improve how you feel and could reduce your number of doctor's visits. You can find vitamin B2 in green beans, popcorn, dairy products and bananas. Too little riboflavin, also called vitamin B2, can cause cracked lips, scaly skin, and reduced hemoglobin and red blood cells. The vitamin helps prevent anemia, cataracts and carpal tunnel syndrome and even cancer. When it comes to our diet, we don't always know how to get healthy foods without breaking the bank. Consuming vitamins and minerals that are healthy will make you feel a lot better. You will find many of the nutrients you need in fruits and vegetables, but you should focus on fresh over processed or canned. Add a multivitamin to your diet and you'll be good to go! In modern fast-paced times, we often sacrifice our health eating fast food devoid of minerals and nutrients. Use some proper vitamins to make sure that you are keeping your immune system strong and allowing your body's metabolism to stay at its peak. Include more manganese in your diet. The process of healing wounds and the formation of bones can be helped by manganese. It also aids the metabolic process. You can find it in beans, green and black tea, whole grains, and almonds. These supplements can be located online and also at local vitamin shops. Use caution when it comes to supplements. Even though vitamins and minerals can be healthy for your body, it can be bad if you take too much. It is dangerous to do so. Make sure that you talk to your doctor about the right doses. Take your calcium carbonate with food in order to boost bone health. Calcium citrate is able to be taken when your stomach is empty, but not calcium carbonate. If you do, it is unable to get absorbed. You should really be eating steamed or raw vegetables. Cooking often depletes food of vitamins. If you want to cook veggies, steam them. Flash frozen vegetables are a good choice too, but you have to be careful to cook them just enough and no more. As you've just seen, there is an incredible amount to learn regarding vitamins and minerals. You need to understand which nutrients are essential to your health and which supplements you can use. Use the tips to help you choose the vitamins and minerals you should include in your daily regimen.

Sun, Surf, & STEM? Miami Beach Among Top Cities for STEM
Miami Beach may have a reputation for sun, surf and sand, but a new study is associating the South Florida city with a new "S" word: STEM.
Livability.com has ranked Miami Beach as one of the best places for STEM careers, with jobs in medicine leading the way.
Just Envy? South Florida Cities Ranked Among Worst to Live
The acronym - which stands for science, technology, engineering and math - describes a multilayered academic approach that has gained traction in recent years. Miami Beach was ranked the 10th best city for STEM careers, with Huntsville, Ala. snagging the number one spot.
Miami Beach has made several strides toward improving STEM standing, according to the website. The coding bootcamp Wyncode Academy - which teaches computer programming during a nine-week course - is noted for "expand[ing] the STEM scene in Miami Beach."
The city's work with Florida Power & Light is also mentioned as a way of providing students with STEM education opportunities, including initiatives like robotics competitions and scholarship offers.
According to the findings, almost 13 percent of jobs in Miami Beach are STEM-related and the median salary is $80,000.

Stepping Outside of the Theoretical
Week 2
StartUp Summer was designed to provide teachers with technical and entrepreneurial skills they could bring to their classrooms, schools, and communities. Their experiences in the StartUp industry should inspire and provoke action toward advancing educational equity. In this post I’d like to highlight some of those teachers
Tumblr media
Diego Lugo interned at Wyncode (a full time developing boot camp) in the summet of 2014. He then worked for them as Campus Director and Director of Admissions. During this time he also learned to code. He currently works for Udacity (an online teaching startup) as a course developer.
Matt Campbell also interned in 2014 but for a different company ClassWallet (a tracking platform for Educational Funds). Yet he ended up woring for Wyncode as well. He has served as Admissions and Operation Intern, Campus Director, and now currently as Director of Admissions.
Today, Wyncode provides high school students with the opportunity to partake in a 6 week coding boot camp and also offers a Future Leaders of Tech Scholarship to their 10 week development boot camp. I’d like to think Wyncode will continue to work with TFA teachers and put out initiatives that will serve to bride educational inequities.

Another inter, Oneika Osborne, teacher and former trainer at the Posse Foundation, partook in FIU’s Cohort 1, where she founded College Pop (a mobile student development and college preparation hub) For more information see: http://startup.fiu.edu/cohort-1/. Prior to doing this, she interned at Code Fever, where she assisted in initiatives to immerse youth to Uber and Facebook, making these work places achievable possibilities. and created an event for Black Tech Week called Glitter & Grits, where female entrepreneurs spoke about their roads to success. Attendees of this event attended workshops and conversed with these women over brunch. Oneika continues to work for children by ensuring access to higher education.

As for myself, I partook in a Reforming Education hackathon, where I, along with three other people (a former TFA alum and two developers), won 2nd place for creating Bridge (getbridge.co is a multilingual text-messaging platform that would allow teachers and parents to communicated in a simple, affordable, and highly accessible way. Since then, I have been inspired to actually be able to enact change.
Special thanks to The Knight Foundation for their continual support and Wifredo Fernandez (former TFA alum and co-founder of the Lab Miami) for his support in making this program what it is today.
