I haven’t played any legend of Zelda games (friends have though. I feel like it would be more surprising if none of them had) but you guys talking about botw and totk make that link seem so feral and scrunkly that I’m actually considering playing the games. Tumblr fans do better marketing than the actual companies sometimes

@burgoyned Chapter 6 pumped out in an hour lol. Not sure if it's any better but feel free to share your thoughts ^^
Chapter 6: Keep Calm and Resist
André sat in front of his computer browsing through the information from the damaged Spiderbot. As he sat there pondering, Howe and Burgoyne chatted about the easiest road leading to Royal London Hospital. After hearing about increased Albion security in the streets (i.e. more fighter drones patrolling the streets), Bagley suggested a more covert way of reach the destination. “Best case scenario would just take a taxi there so that way you won’t be under the radar,” he said as he closed the map. “I’m up for whatever. You wanna come with me, André?” Howe asked the hacker. André shrugged. “I guess. I’m finding some disrupted data that needs to be cleaned up.” “I can take care of that,” Bagley chimed in. Howe looked at his phone. The time reads 10:15 PM. “If we head there now, there shouldn’t any workers present. Most likely security guards, but they can be taken care of.”
“Ok. We’ll be off. Don’t do anything stupid, Burgoyne,” warned André. The playwriter held his hands up yet said nothing. Both André and Howe left the Safehouse and walked into The Earl’s Fortune where they found the pub mostly empty except for a few patrons sitting at the lounge smoking and chatting. Clinton sat at the bar with Hanger discussing current events. The bartender looked up and smiled. “Y’all out for a night exploration?” “Of course. London looks beautiful at night. We’ll be back shortly.” “Sure thing. And do be careful Albion is everywhere tonight,” Clinton said. André gave his friend a reassuring smile before leaving the pub with Howe. Using his phone, the fighter flagged down a taxi. He climbed into the driver’s seat with the hacker in the passengers. Tossing his bag into the back, Howe began setting up the GPS route to the Royal London Hospital. “This shouldn’t be too long of drive….15 minutes. Sounds reasonable enough,” he said as he shifted into drive. “Methinks that the hospital is going to be heavily secured tonight,” André muttered while watching an Albion guard detain a civilian on the street. Howe looked over and shook his head. Around 10:30 PM, the men pulled up to the Royal London Hospital.
It was to be expected; guards patrolled the entrance of the hospital, including the driveway where ambulances are parked. Making his way towards the front entrance, Howe and André put on their masks and hid behind a brick wall. The hacker pulled out his phone and almost immediately pinged, directing the signal to a nearby ctOS fighter drone. We could use the drone to clear the guards. Hacking the drone, André began piloting it inside the main entrance where Albion guards are stationed and proceeded to take the guards down one by one. Howe watched with curiosity as the hacker pointed the drone towards a guard on the second floor before he prodded his friend. “I see the data machine look!” he hissed. There was a black box located right behind the guard which made the mission more convenient than they both thought. André shot the guard then flew the drone close to the machine. “Alright. Wait…” he stopped. Howe became confused. “What happened?” he asked. “Someone seemed to have cleared the data from the machine. The drone isn’t picking up anything.” “
“Do they know we were coming then?” “Not sure. But no data is coming from that box.” It was then Bagley pinged their earpiece. “It appears that someone has already hacked the data from the file server. I do believe there is backup storage stored somewhere on the other side. See if you can find something.” “Copy that. Alright.” André piloted the drone to the front of the hospital. There are several stories; each floor containing rooms of many patients as well as nurses and doctors working night shifts. Outside, the balcony floors were devoid of any sign of life, except for a few hospital workers. Gently flying the drone away from the windows, André finally located the backup file storage sitting on the fourth-floor balcony. “Second time the charm here we go…” He flew the drone towards the black box only for the phone to be suddenly disconnected.
Frustrated, André attempted to reconnect his phone back towards the drone. He successfully regained control only to see part of it damaged. “Oh God, who could it be now?” he groaned. Tilting the drone to the side, both men saw another fighter drone next to them. “What the...GET OUT OF HERE!!” André snarled and attempted to shoot it. He was unlucky. The other drone dodged the laser and proceeded to shoot the ctOS drone, destroying it. The phone signaled a loss of connection. Bagley pinged again. “It seems that someone has gained access to the backup storage. Looks like all the data are cleared from this location.” “DAMMIT!! Ok, what about St. Thomas could you check on that?” André said, giving Howe an incredulous look. The fighter shook his head. A moment of silence conveyed until Bagley spoke up. “Unfortunately I was unable to locate any data worth recovering from there. And don’t bother attempting Guy Hospital, that one was long cleared.” “Fuck! Ok, well appreciate your help, Bagley.” “Certainly. You should probably get back. Lord Germain has now issued a curfew at midnight.” Both men growled at that name. “We’ll be sure to head back,” André responded, tapping his earpiece. They both got up and walked towards their car only to notice a message clipped to their windshield. Howe took of his Ded Coronation mask, tossed it into the taxi, and started reading the note. André slid next to him. “What does the note say?” “It’s not a note,” Howe whispered. Staring at the paper, André read out loud the message:
Hey DedSec,
~~~~~~~~~C@N’T F1ND WH@T Y0U’R€ L00K!NG F0R? B€TT€R LUCK N€XT T1M€~~~~~~~~(8>
“DeFaLT”
“ ‘DeFaLT’? The Polish black hacker and well-known DJ? HOLY CRAP YES!!” André’s eyes lit up like fireworks. “Have you heard any of his songs Billy? He’s got helluva a collection.” His enthusiasm was not shared by his friend, who was staring at the paper with a blank expression. “William? Is everything ok?” the hacker asked, concerned. “Huh? Oh, nothing…it’s just…” Howe stopped. Defalt. Richard loves that man just like André. Even learned to hack like him. Could it be…? The fighter shoved the paper into his jacket before entering the taxi. André got into the passenger seat, head swimming with mixed emotions.
The drive back to the pub was extremely quiet. André wanted to continuously share his enthusiasm about his favorite artist but couldn’t since Howe was not in the mood to converse. They arrived back at The Earl’s Fortune. Few patrons still sat by the fireplace, conversing over the news while Hanger poured drinks to a few customers at the bar. Entering the passcode, Howe and André returned to the Safehouse where Howe tossed his bag onto the desk next to Bagley and walked towards the broken down train converted into a bar. Clinton, who was sitting on the leather couch tuned into his headphones while browsing his laptop, looked up and saw André standing there with a glum look on his face. He took his headphones off, placed his laptop on the couch before getting up to comfort the hacker. “What’s the matter? Got busted by Albion?” “No. It’s something else…” André said quietly. Bagley spoke up. “Every hospital record has been taken by someone. Not sure whom it may be, but it seems that person knows what we’re up to.” “A spy? Well well guess we’ll have to watch our backs,” Clinton said, sighing in disbelief. Howe finally emerged from the train and pulled out the note from his pocket.
“This is what I found on the taxi we drove. Looks like someone was playing ‘DeFaLT’ and got to us before we could.” Clinton took the note and stared at it. “My God it looks as if someone is trying to cosplay as an actual hacker, writing a note like that.” He turned it over to find nothing else. “Probably some kid on the street who thinks it’s funny to play games like this.” Clinton handed back the paper. “In any case, we’ll need to cover our tracks more discretely from now on.” Howe looked back at the paper. “We may have to. Although I do plan on paying a visit to the Royal Navy shipyard tomorrow.” “How so?” Clinton inquired. “I have a hunch….but I could be wrong….that my brother wrote this message. He could be trailing us.” “Richard? That guy hasn’t spoken to you in ages how could he possibly emerge from the shadows like this? It doesn’t make any sense,” André pointed out. Howe sighed. “Look, I’m going to the navy quarters to find out. Y’all wouldn’t mind coming with me?”
“Why certainly. Hmm, where is Burgoyne?” “He’s in the training room trying to ‘jack himself up.’ “ Clinton grunted. Bagley snickered. “As if that’s not the only thing he’s ‘jacking up’ on.” “DAMMIT BAGLEY!!” Clinton yelled as everyone burst out laughing. Exhausted, André slid onto his gamer chair before tossing his black DedSec jacket onto the table. His white shirt displayed the fox logo of DedSec in blue highlights, matching his black cargo pants. Stretching, André leaned back and closed his eyes. Who could be playing Defalt? Hmm...Mission Complete.
Akaashi x fem!reader
2.4k fluff oneshot for Akaashi’s birthday! ヽ(・∀・)ノ
relationships: Akaashi x fem!reader
characters: Akaashi, reader, Bokuto, mentions of Fukurodani team, brief mention of Tsukishima
warnings: none
~ my ao3 profile ~
Pov: You are a second-year studying in the school's library and you're looking for the last copy of a book that another boy, who was in your class, was also looking for...
"...over there dear." "Thank you." You bowed you head to the librarian in respect, letting your long (h/c) hair fall in your face and glasses. You walked over to the bookcase where the last copy of the book you needed for a research project. You saw a boy following you, but paid no attention to it, assuming he needed something from the same aisle. As you reached for the book you needed, he also reached over to grab the book. You both stopped in your tracks in confusion. "Did you need this?" He asked you in a soft voice. "Oh no, it's okay, you can have it." He stared at you for a few seconds. "Wait, (l/n) (f/n)? Second year right?" "Yes.." You answered slowly, unsure of how he knew your name. "I'm Akaashi Keiji. I'm in the same class as you." Something finally clicked in your mind. He was the Akaashi Keiji, setter for the school's team the Fukurodani Owls. "Oh- you're that setter right? Sorry I don't know much about volleyball." You chuckled. You were the one of the most forgotten students in your class due to the teacher constantly skipping over your name for attendance. You always sat in the back corner in the classroom where everyone could easily overlook you, so you were even more confused as to how he knew your name. "It's okay. And you got my position right, I am in fact the setter!" He quietly clapped, making you blush out of embarrassment. "Well, since we're both working on that research project.. maybe we could share the book?" You offered. "Sure. I don't mind." He gave you a small smile. "We could work at my table if you'd like." "Sure." He followed you back to your table with his backpack and sat with you. You both started up some small talk, learning more about one another. From how he knew you and noticed you in class, to a few things about volleyball. Both of you realized you had a lot in common. About how you both were only children and you both even had the same habit of fiddling with your fingers when you were anxious. After a couple hours of working, the librarian warned both of you that the library would close in 5 minutes. You both wrote down important parts from the book so you could return it and started packing up your things. "Hey, we should do this again sometime." Akaashi said to you. "Yeah." "Oh- nevermind... that would be a pretty dumb thing to ask.." You mumbled out loud. "What is? I doubt it would be stupid." He asked curiously. "I was wondering if you would like my number..." You mumbled. He pulled out his phone. "Well, what is your number?" You noticed your face heating up out of embarrassment, knowing he noticed too. "I- uh-" You stammered trying to get your words out. "It's okay, take your time." You finally gave you number to him, along with him giving his to you. You both parted ways, heading back to your own houses.
You were the one to text him first. You were a pretty reserved, quiet, and introverted person, but you had your occasional boosts of confidence. After figuring out what you wanted to asked him, you came up with what you wanted to say. You asked if he wanted to facetime each other sometime and he said yes. 5 minutes later your phone lit up with Akaashi's name.
You both compared what you wrote down from the book and gave each other pointers and tips. Eventually his mom was calling him to eat dinner and he had to go. You finished up writing down more notes as you put away your things and laid down on your bed. Even though you two never talked about it, you both became quick friends, and for you he was your first friend since starting high school. You got lost in your thoughts as you drifted to sleep.
At school he talked to you a lot more, wanting to know even more about you. You partnered up with him in his AP classes, you sat with him alongside Bokuto, who was confused as to why Akaashi invited you to sit with him, knowing he wasn't a sociable person. He overlooked that and gladly welcomed you to their table. You started coming to his volleyball practice, and was shocked to see you there, writing something down on a notepad. Then you two would facetime each other usually every other day, sometimes for the project, sometimes just to talk. Eventually one day at school, you couldn't find him anywhere. You asked Bokuto, but he had no idea either. He ended up texting you saying he didn't feel well and was taking the day off. You felt bad for him, with him telling you his parents were out of town for a month, he would be at his house all by himself. You remembered him saying something about his address one before on a call before. You made a plan to see him after school.
"Come in, the door's unlocked." A hoarse voice called out. You opened the door and found Akaashi lying down on the couch with a box of tissues beside him. "Oh- what are you doing here (y/n)? What if you get sick because of me?" You silenced him by putting a finger up to his lips. "Shhhh. I'll be fine, just rest for now." "Is there anything you wanted? Something to eat or drink? Extra covers?" "No, I'm good..." He said as he drifted to sleep. You sat down beside him, quietly humming a song that had been stuck in your head for a while. "You have a really pretty voice.." Akaashi mumbled. You blushed profusely in response to his compliment. As the sun set you told him you were heading back to your house. You told him to call you if he needed anything, no matter what time it was. He nodded his head as you walked out the door. As you walked back to your house, the only thing on your mind was how pretty Akaashi looked. "Damn he's hot." All you could think about is how he looked even more peaceful asleep. How his beautiful black curls framed his face perfectly. How his chest rose and fell slowly. You could go on and on about it all night. All your thoughts remained unspoken, especially about how big your crush on him grew bigger.
The research project that you and Akaashi helped each other on was due, and both of you got the highest grade in the class. You both smiled each other and talked non-stop at lunch. You offered him to come over to your house, and he accepted. You guided him through your house and letting him into your room, filled with multiple posters from famous bands and a Playstation in the corner of your room. "Wow." He said in awe. He pointed out some of his favorite bands from your posters. You put on some music as you handed him a controller to play something on your PS3. You loaded (any 2P game but i'm using Sonic The Hedgehog 2 bc that's my fav game) up and started playing. "Um (y/n), I.. I don't know how to play this game." "Don't worry, I can teach you!" You can the Tails to my Sonic!" You laughed at each other when you fell off the moving platforms in Chemical Plant Zone, or when you fell into the hole that led into Hidden Palace Zone. You both congratulated each other when you each passed an act together, or when you both defeated Robotnik and set the animals free. He almost jumped a little when you put your head on his shoulder. "I wish time could freeze right here in this moment." You mumbled softly. "Hm?" Your eyes widen as you realized what you said. "Uh- nothing! I didn't say anything!" He chuckled. "Whatever you say." You both fell asleep leaning against each other.
"Ooo, does Akaashi have a crush?!" "Bokuto, not so loud! And no, I don't. I just want to be friends with her, well for now at least." "Oh, okay then!" He didn't bother telling Bokuto about last night, knowing he would get the wrong idea. He didn't have a crush on you, at least that's what he wanted him to think. If he told Bokuto now, he would accidently let it slip and tell you. Besides, he didn't think you would like him back anyways. It was like unintentionally friendzoning each other. But he didn't think he had a crush on you, he never really thought about it. He saw you as a person he could easily relate to and get along with and share a close bond. The last thing that would cross his mind is being in a relationship with someone. But after some deep thinking, he realized he might've actually caught feelings for you, but not wanting to act on them just in case you didn't feel the same way, remembering what you said last night about him being the Tails to your Sonic, assuming you just wanted to stay friends and nothing more. Sighing in defeat, he looked through his phone and even though he wouldn't be the best person to ask for advice, it was better than risking word getting out. He called Tsukishima, knowing he was together with Yamaguchi. "Hello?" "Hey um, it's Akaashi." "What did you want, and why are you calling me out of all people?" "Listen, I need some advice." Tsukki paused. "With what?" "Um- I don't know you to say this but-" "Just spit it out already, I don't have all day." "Um- how do you know if someone likes you, and how do you confess to someone?" "I don't know, I'm not Google, just look it up or something. I have to go now. Bye." He hung up on him while he sat in confusion. He opened his laptop and began to find the answers to his questions. After searching through the internet, he finally gathered enough info to put something together. Now he just needed the courage to actually ask you.
Two months went by, and he still hasn't confessed yet. You two would still facetime each other, except it was almost every night now. You would go over to each other's houses and even walk home together. It was when one breezy day when you two were walking home together when everything changed. You had everything set up for what you were going to do. You had your note in hand, and you checked to see the wind was blowing at a wind speed not too gusty, but not too light either. You had your note in hand and everything was set. "Ah, my note!" You exclaimed as your note flew away from your hands. Using his quick setter reflexes. He successfully caught it with the right side facing up. "Perfect" You thought to yourself. As he was about to give it back to you, he noticed his name on the front of the note. "Oh? Why is my name on hee?" "It's for you actually." You chuckled. He opened the note and his eyes widened. Inside was a handwritten confession in your handwriting to him. He blushed as he wrote the last sentence. "Wow (y/n) I- I didn't know you felt the same way." Now it was your turn to blush. "What? I didn't think you would like a girl like me back.." "I've liked you for a while (Y/n) It's been what, two almost three months now? I wanted to tell you sooner but I was just a stupid coward and I was just too scared to-" You silenced his rambling with a kiss on his cheek. "It's okay, I understand where you're coming from. But now, you can be the Sonic to my Amy." You both walk home together flushed.
It was when Bokuto noticed you holding Akaashi's hand for a brief second. He asked you two about it. Neither of you knowing what to say, you both were a stuttering mess. He finally put two and two together and realized you two were in fact dating. In response you both nodded your heads. He jumped out of excitement, with Akaashi asking him to keep your relationship private. He asked if he could tell the team. Knowing Bokuto would have a hard time keeping a secret like this He allowed it with your consent. Just between you three and the team. The team was super supportive of your relationship, vowing to keep it a secret. You took more notes on the sidelines and even stood next to Yukie, the third year manager of the team and talked to her, asking some questions. After practice, he asked you what your notes were for, but you never answered him, you always told him it was a secret.
~ timeskip one year later ~
You both were in your third year together, still in your relationship with him. It was a lot quieter without Bokuto around, but after hanging around Bokuto a lot, you finally came out of your shell and let your louder and more mischievous side come out more. You cheered on the team from the sidelines, waiting to tell him about some good news. He was overjoyed when you told him on the walk home that you would become the team's manager. He was so excited he kissed your lips out of excitement. When he realized what he did. He bowed his head and apologized. "I'M SO SORRY- I SHOULD'VE ASKED FIRST-" You lifted his chin up and you kissed him on the lips this time. "No, don't apologize. I really liked it actually." His face was painted with shades of red as you kissed him. Your soft lips meeting his just as soft and perfect lips. You teased each other as you both walked into your bedroom, with him taking your glasses as you ruffled and played with his soft hair. Everything about him was perfect, not a single flaw. You stood in front of your PS3, unsure of what game you both wanted to play. "Sonic?" You asked. He nodded his head in response. You walked back over to your bed, planting a quick kiss on his forehead. You both shared another kiss as the loading screen popped up. You laid your head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around you as you both played.
Surprise Bitch - Part 21 (Bonus)
Genre: Fluff
Word count: 1273
Warnings: None
Requested: No
Summary: Meet Haley, a girl who loves dancing and her youtuber brother, Alex. What happens when Alex invites 9 famous boys to surprise his sister in his upcoming video?
Tumblr media
“Okay your turn” Haley blurted out. Alex turned to look at the girl in confusion. They were having their weekly movie night in the new apartment when the girl spoke up suddenly.
“Elaborate” Alex requested. Haley turned away from the movie to look at him. Bringing her legs up, she tucked her chin on her knees.
“Well, Jisung and I are together now. So it’s yours and Felix’s turn” Haley stated, making her brother go wide-eyed.
“How did—What are—I don’t know what you’re talking about” Alex rambled anxiously. Haley gave the boy an ‘are you kidding me look’.
Alex sighed, “Is it that obvious?” Haley nodded. “But he doesn’t like me like that” Alex muttered.
“That’s exactly what I thought about Jisung and look at me now” Haley stated before continuing, “you’d have to be stupid to not see how much the boy likes you.” Haley saw the confusion on his face before groaning, “okay I guess you’re stupid then.”
“I am NOT” Alex said in defense.
Haley threw her hands up, “All I’m saying is, Felix obviously likes you and you like him. You’re both just oblivious to everything.”
“How are you so sure about this?” Alex asked, slightly hopefully. Haley bursted into laughter.
“You do realize who I’m dating right? That boy can’t keep anything secret” Haley giggled. Alex raised a brow at the girl, prompting her to spill information.
“Yes I’ve heard things but it’s not my place to say” Haley shrugged her shoulders. Alex was at a loss. He had no idea what to say, what to do, or how to do it. All he knew was that he needed the one person he trusted most.
“Will you help me?” Alex asked his sister with hopeful eyes. Haley just smiled in response.
“I was hoping you’d ask. Here’s the plan”
*****
“Where is everyone?” Felix asked Chan and Changbin, who sat huddled around their laptops working on their next album.
“Hyunjin and Minho went to the studio, Jisung is with Haley, and the others went out to eat” Chan replied without looking up from his computer. Felix sighed. He had made plans to hang out with one of the guys but they’d had other intentions.
“Haley told me that Alex was at home if you wanted to hang out with him” Chan added. Felix perked up immediately. Searching through his bag, he found his phone before opening up his messages.
Tumblr media
Felix shouted a goodbye to the remaining guys in the dorm before walking to his favorite noodle shop. Luckily for everyone, Chan helped Alex and Haley find an apartment that was only a ten minute walk from the dorms, the noodle shop directly in the middle. Once Felix arrived, he realized he didn’t know what Alex would like. Of course, instead of asking the boy, he thought it would be a better idea to order a little bit of everything. After waiting patiently for the food the be prepared, he set out on his way to Alex’s apartment. Walking up two flights of stairs, Felix arrived in front of the door. With two hands full of food, he kicked at the door to signal his arrival. He heard the faint sound of footsteps approaching before the door was swung open.
“Hey Fe—what’s all that?” Alex asked, confusion etched on his face at the amount of stuff Felix held.
“Food. Now help” Felix shoved bags towards the boy, no longer struggling to carry them as he followed Alex into the apartment. They placed the bags on the kitchen counter, unpacking multiple boxes.
“Why did you get so much?” Alex wondered.
“I didn’t know what you’d like so I just ordered it all” Felix stated like it wasn’t a big deal. Alex couldn’t help but smile.
“I’ll pretty much eat anything but thank you” Alex replied. Felix smiled before offering the carton of fried chicken to him. They ate in comfortable silence and after thirty minutes, every bit of the food had been eaten. A food coma was calling the both of them. Alex clapped his hands together before playfully narrowing his eyes at Felix.
“I think you owe me a rematch” Alex declared. He walked into the living room to set up the game, Felix following behind him.
“You’re just wasting your time” Felix smirked, an idea popping into his head, “let’s make this a little interesting.” Alex quirked a brow at him, waiting for the boy to continue as he handed him the other controller. “Loser has to tell a secret” Felix announced.
Hahahaha whAT
“A secret?” Alex nervously asked.
“Yeah. What? You scared you might lose?” Felix snickered.
“What? No!” Alex stammered, “let’s play now.” Starting the match, the two boys competed against one another. Alex refused to lose after the outcome from the last time they played. But. What if this was his chance? What if he told Felix how he felt? Would he really lose on purpose just for this? Alex couldn’t help but worry if it was worth it. What if Felix didn’t like him back? What if he ruined their friendship? What if—oh fuck it.
Alex eased up on his attacks, letting Felix kick him off the map. He wasn’t ignorant, he knew that Alex let him win but why? He didn’t want to press on it yet, instead, grinning mischievously at the boy.
“We made a deal. Spill” Felix urged. Bouncing in his seat, he immediately stilled the moment the words spilled from Alex’s lips.
“I have feelings for you” Alex hung his head to avoid eye contact. Embarrassment filled his body as he waited in anticipation.
“Come again?” Felix finally spoke up, shock evident across his face. Alex internally groaned.
“Please don’t make me say it again” Alex pleaded.
“I want you to say it again. I have to make sure K heard you right” Felix encouraged, hope filled his voice. Alex lifted his head to look at the boy.
“I have feelings for you Felix” Alex whispered. At that, the biggest grin appeared on Felix’s face as he launched himself onto the boy.
“So I DID hear you right” Felix shouted in joy before planting his lips on Alex’s. Eyes blown wide in shock, Alex remained frozen for a moment before finally melting into the kiss. Felix smiled against the boy’s lips when he felt him return the kiss. When they pulled apart, Felix placed his hands against Alex’s cheeks.
“Do you know how long I’ve waited for this?” Felix said happily. Alex wrapped his arms around the boy, waiting for him to answer his own question. “Ever since you contacted us for the video, I ended up binge watching all your stuff. Needless to say, I developed the biggest crush on you after we met” Felix confessed, a slight tint to his cheeks.
“Trust me, the feeling was always mutual” Alex softly smiled. Felix groaned in response.
“So you’re telling me we wasted all this time and could’ve been together sooner?” Felix pouted.
“So we’re together now?” Alex wiggled his eyebrows at Felix who winked in response.
“Yes. Yes we are” Felix smirked. Alex just laughed as he hugged him tighter.
“Stay with me tonight?” Alex offered.
“I’m glad you asked because I had no intentions of leaving this couch tonight” Felix announced, snuggling further into Alex’s chest.
“Fine by me” Alex responded, overwhelmed with happiness. He grabbed his phone to message Haley.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alex locked his phone and placed it on the table next to him. Hugging the sleeping boy closer to him, he kissed the top of Felix’s head before closing his eyes and sighing in content.
This is home.
Day 2 (Yooran Week)
Could any of you tell that I uploaded day 1 from my phone? Please say no ;;_;;
Anyway, I’m just posting this today since-- yesterday I posted day 1? Logic? Ahh~ Also, like the previous piece, I kinda did a little of both prompts cause I’m bad at making decisions. X( Anyway, today’s prompt is VideoGames/Cosplay!!
LOLOL & Troll
The few people that Yoosung had introduced LOLOL to proved that, at least to him, it was a bad idea to do such a thing in the first place. Seven became too powerful and horribly snarky in game, and MC had caught on quick (she had actually been an awesome addition to his guild), but quickly began to mimic Seven’s behavior.
So when Saeran had shown interest in joining Yoosung on gaming binges… of course he was a little hesitant. He didn’t say no, obviously- but he was very careful in his approach to teaching Saean about the controls and simple tactics. He didn’t want another friend turning on him…
He wasn’t sure he’d be able to handle the betrayal.
“You sure your laptop can handle that? I don’t want you glitching or lagging us to disaster…” Yoosung had chastised when Saeran plopped on his couch and opened up his computer.
“Yeah- it’s fine. I do some hacking on a laptop similar to this, it’ll be okay.”
Yoosung sighed and rolled his eyes. “Fine. I sat out all the snacks and drinks- we can order a pizza at five if you’re up to it.” He plops down in his own seat and starts up his computer, only very quickly remembering an important detail. “Did you bring a microphone and headset?”
“Mnn- no? Do I need one?”
“Gah- really?! Do you need one? Obviously! Hold on…” Saeran stares at Yoosung credulously as he digs through an old box of electronics, eventually pulling out a cheap headset from his high school days. “This should still work. Make sure you can connect them correctly though.”
Saeran does as he’s told and tries not to laugh at Yoosung’s suddenly serious attitude whilst connecting the headset to his laptop. He waits in the town circle for Yoosung to join, and when he does, he turns on the mic. “We’re going on a mission with the guild today- right?”
“Actually several.” Yoosung adds Saeran to the group chat and suddenly is interrupted with the yelling of other guild members. “Guys, c’mon- I know you’re all still logging on but we gotta get ready.”
The yelling only continues, and Saeran busies himself by shooting off random spells. Yeah- he knows it’ll take a while to build back his mana, but he doesn’t really take it as seriously as Yoosung does anyway. They had played this game before- this perhaps being the fourth time- and Saeran already knew what his favorite spell was.
Switcheroo.
At first it was pointless. Why would you want to switch places with your enemy anyway? Then, when he discovered you could switch with pets/followers, npcs, and other players, it began to get more interesting.
Yoosung grabbed for some chips, distracted just enough for Saeran to prop himself at the edge of town and Switch him. It was a silly trick, yeah- but it could really disorient someone.
“Did you just switch me?” He asks after a confused ‘huh’ and the chomping of his chips. “Why do you even know that move?”
Saeran shrugs, completely straight-faced. “Dunno. Wanted to try it out.”
Yoosung produces a skeptical glare. “Yeah? Well- don’t use it too much. It’s useless and a waste of mana. Plus, it gets annoying.”
It gets annoying? Saeran thought and wondered how it would be annoying as the rest of their guild filed in and entered the dungeon.
Saeran fiddled with the headset a little, fidgeting with e mic as they fought off imps for the time being. He usually never used the headset for talking, just for hearing the other guild members. They seemed nice- but Saeran had never made the effort to try talking to them. He feared he would say something stupid.
Yoosung began talking through a strategy, setting up rounds of healing, spell casting, then warrior waves. Saeran mostly paid attention, but a sneaky desire began wiggling in his head. The spawning imps impeded them slightly, and he found joy in casting Switches between imps to the point of nearly lagging his computer.
“Dude, stop fucking Switching- you’re wasting mana.” One of the guild members chided.
“Don’t be a fucking troll, man. We can’t afford it for this battle.” Another added.
Saeran laughed a little, bringing out an uproar of disappointed yells as he Switched with one guild member, then another one, and a third.
“Oh my god, Saeran, stop!” Yoosung yelled out loud enough for Saeran to hear him past the headphones. “You’re so annoying, I swear- you better not do that at the boss or we’re not playing LOLOL together ever again
Saeran laughed again, shaking his head. “Alright, I promise, I will stop.”
-
“You look really different with glasses on,” Saeran makes the observation as Yoosung twirls around in the mirror. In fact- the whole get up looks more mysterious if anything on Yoosung. Dressed up as the bad boy turned sweetheart Seung in their favorite High School Drama. Hell- his pants have holes…
“Do I?” Yoosung glances back in the mirror- not seeing how ‘different’ he looks. Honestly, he feels as though the outfit isn’t enough- he doesn’t look anything like Seung. He looked more like he was in middle school during his rebellious phase. “Maybe if my hair was darker it would look better…”
“Don’t- I like the blonde.” Saeran quickly negated the idea.
Yoosung smiled and nodded. “Of course- I wasn’t thinking of changing it again. I was more so thinking of a wig.” He pauses, playing with the ends of his hair, wondering if he could stuff it all into a hairnet. Why not? He had seen women with longer hair than him putting on wigs for cosplay, it was a possibility.
To cosplay properly as Hyeon required much more effort. Saeran wasn’t nearly tall enough, his hair wasn’t honey-blonde, and he would’ve needed to workout for at least a couple months to build up the muscle…
“You are the perfect Hyeon! I always thought he’d look better with red hair,” Yoosung complemented, tugging on the sleeves of the school uniform Saeran was dressed in to make it a little bit more even. After all, Hyeon was a perfectionist, and Saeran had to play the part. Upon a realization, Yoosung sighed dramatically. “Oh- if only we could find our Jun!”
Saeran summoned a laugh, the noise very quickly dying out. “Yeah- if only.”
