another cool part of dawntrail is that the main antagonist so far (im very early) is like, a high school bully. it's not "good" per se and it's actually pretty fucking stupid but like, in a fun schlocky way. despite the setup being eerily similar to battle for azeroth im getting more legion flashbacks tonally

it was a really bad part of my life but i kinda miss being completely obsessed by ffxiv, tbh. spending 14+ hours a day in it and not even being on social media much. i miss having that kind of structure in my day/week that my entire life can be caught up into.

i don't think it could feasibly happen again, at least probably not with this game. not while im gainfully employed and living on my own and have to take care of myself somewhat
