How to Connect Xtool KC501 with Tablet or PC?

Xtool KC501 can work with Xtool tablet to read and write MCU/EEPROM chips, read and write keys including Mercedes infrared keys. It also can connect to the tablet as an anti-theft match, and supports the connection of X100 PAD3, Auto Pro PAD. Moreover, it also can connect with a PC to be a programmer. Check the connection methods below.

Kindly Notice:

Xtool KC501 Chip Programming Tool only can connect to the Xtool tablet which has USB 3.0 interface through USB cable.

Compatible Xtool tablets: X100 PAD3 (X100 PAD Elite), X100 PADS, InPlus IK618, InPlus IP616, InPlus IP819, D9 EV, D9 HD Diesel & Gasoline, D8

Method 1: Connect with Bluetooth device

1.Connect VCI and main cable with car’s OBD port, which is usually under the dashboard.

2.Turn on our device and pair Bluetooth with VCI.

3.Connect a 12V power adapter to KC501.

4.Connect Xtool tablet and KC501 with a USB cable. Then enter immobilization menu and follow the instructions on the device.

Method 2: Connect with wire device

1.Turn on Xtool tablet

2.Connect car's OBD port with wire. OBD port is usually under the dashboard.

3.Connect Xtool device and KC501 with a USB cable. Then enter immobilization menu and follow the instructions on the device.

Method 3: Connect with PC

Use a USB cable to connect Xtool KC501 Key Programmer and PC directly, and then perform the available function.

How to Program Continental PCR2.1 Key on Bench Using OBDSTAR X300DP Plus?

With OBDSTAR X300DP Plus, you can easily program a Continental PCR2.1 key on bench without requiring a Pincode. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Tools Required:

ECU BENCH Cables

Main Cable

P003 Adapter

CONTINENTAL PCR2.1 ECU

KEY MASTER DP PLUS

Step 1: Select the basic information of the vehicle.

Step 2: Connect the P003 adapter with the main cable and ECU BENCH cable.

Step 3: After connecting, click ‘Enter’ to read IMMO data.

I highly recommend using OBDSTAR X300DP Plus for this task. I have tried Xtool Pad 3 and KTP, but none of them are as good as OBDSTAR. As a secondary tool, it has proven to be exceptional. For certain cars like Ford and Nissan, it works really well, making it my go-to tool in such cases. It also offers one of the best OBD odometer correction software options and can perform crash module resets. Additionally, it can clone GM BCM and handle the new GM IMMO.

TESTED XTOOL X100 PAD 2 PROGRAM CITROEN C4 NEW KEY OK

Hi mates! We newly tested X-100 PAD2 program Citroen C4 new key successfully! So share the operating steps here for your reference.

Step1. Connect XTOOL X100 PAD 2 with Citroen C4 via car OBD port. Choose “Immobilization” then select “Citroen” and “Citroen V26.42”.

Step2. Hit “Program keys”, “Select from vehicle” then choose “C4”.

Step3. There are two options on C4 menu: “Non smart key” and “Smart key”. Choose “Non smart key” then “Program keys”.

Step4. It remind you if continue all keys will be erased and you should enter correct pin code. Hit “OK” then “Yes” to confirm.

Enter the pin code “7XEQ”.

Input the key number you want to program.

Step5. Now follow the tip, turn ignition off then insert the new key in 15 seconds to turn ignition on.

Program success! In this way you can add Citroen C4 new key by using XTOOL Scanner X100 PAD2 Tablet Key Programmer!

How to Get Xtool VAG Access Code for VAG 4th 5th IMMO & MQB AKL

With Xtool VAG Point Code, XTOOL X100 Pad2, X100 PAD2 Pro / X100 Pad3 will be granted for calculation access via OBD2 for VAG 4th & 5th immobilizer systems and MQB-platform, for all keys lost (AKL) key programming i.e golf 7 2013. NO EEPROM REQUIRED!

During this process, internet connection is required, so that Xtool Pad is able to connect to VAG servers and perform calculation. After the calculation is done, your tablet will have unlimited access to that same vehicle.

After ordered from obd2tool.com, you will receive an email with your activation code. Keep this email handy, because you are supposed to enter the code at the time of programming.

Xtool VAG Point Code Operation Guide:

Tap ” the vehicle system”:

1). VW 4th Immobilizer System

2). Audi 5th Immobilizer System

Tap ” Online Mode”.
