Life threw me into a black hole, but I decided to complete the "challenge" even after the deadline. The Stepford Cuckoos. Well, according to the description, they are the cloned daughters of Emma Frost. But I never found a mention of their father. After all, we humans are diploid animals. I think the same goes for mutants. A little biology lesson: Children are created by the union of two haploid gametes. (A haploid cell contains only one set of chromosomes). One from the father in the form of a sperm and one from the mother in the form of an egg. It works just as well outside the body. With a little effort, you can connect egg to egg as well as sperm to sperm, it is not a current reality, but it is undoubtedly possible and I believe that the mad scientists of the comic book world obsessed with perfect genetic combinations took the time to make this utopia a reality. But I don't believe I really discuss such topics on social media, so back to the simple biological window. Cuckoos are said to have originated from Emma's eggs taken from her while she was playing Sleeping Beauty. Emma's eggs are haploid, they contain one set of chromosomes, and in order to give rise to Cuckoos, another set of chromosomes needs to be added to them. And who could that donor be? It can't be Emma herself.

She's a brunette. Her utopian clones would have dark hair. But they don't have. This can be easily explained by the fact that Emma's mother is apparently blonde, so Emma has passive blonde genes in her and all she needs is a blonde donor or a donor who, like her, has these passive genes.

(Yeah, it could be colored, but pretend don´t.) I'm going to assume that given the purpose of Weapon XIV, someone to increase telepathic potential might be best. That could be some kind of telepath. At a glance, the only telepaths more powerful than Emma herself are Professor X and Jean Grey. Both have blonde mothers, which isn't surprising because, as Captain America confirmed to us, blonde mothers in Marvel are the exact opposite of a shortage.

But... But why use Emma's eggs if you had the DNA of more powerful telepaths at your disposal? Like, we can assume that Emma is prettier, but Jean Grey's fans, of which I still partially belong, wouldn't agree with that, and I guess from a gun-oriented genetics point of view, it wouldn't matter that much. So who else. Someone whose DNA is on every Geneticist's shelf, or so I imagine. Someone whose genetic potential for reproduction is discussed several times in the comic.

Yes. He is none other than a bespectacled mutant. It would make sense that his own daughter also lacks all of her father's appearance, so it shouldn't be surprising that the Cuckoos don't resemble Scot either.

I know I like them together so much... Marvel You killing me.
