I really like writing Arlo and Yake's friendship, however cute/troublesome it gets.

I could do it a million different ways. But I wanted to focus on canon for once.

Yake comes from a different village where having a cursed eye is extremely taboo. He befriends Arlo, unknowing of his condition.

Don't get me wrong, I love the marauders fandom as much as the next person but i have a problem with how Peter is portrayed compared to the other marauders.

Peter is always described as 'chubby' , 'fat' , and 'constantly eating'. This is not a bad thing. It is when you put in the context of the fact that he is the Tagalog of the group that eventually betrays James and lily to wizard Hitler.

You can see how that's a problem

Meanwhile James Sirius and Remus are all 'lean' or 'fit' or 'slender'. They play quidditch, Remus is a werewolf, Sirius gets starved at home. These are all the excuses that people use as to why Peter is the fat comic relief friend and the other three are cool and clever and kind, loyal to fault.

Give me chubby James potter, spoiled rotten by his parents. He's the only child of two loving, very very rich parents. Give me him eating everything all the time because quidditch takes it out of his and damn growing teens need to eat jesus

Give me Sirius black that gets starved as punishment at home so at Hogwarts he eats what he wants, when he wants, a Sirius black that feels comfortable and stable when fat. Sirius black that rebels by putting on weight as soon as he can to show his parents they can't control him. Give me slow metabolism sirius

Give me a Remus that is chubby and curvy. Give me a Remus that feels the hunger of the wolf. Give me a chronic ill Remus who is sometimes bed ridden and can't get up to exercise. Give me a Remus loving being fat because it makes the breaking and reshaping of his transformation a little bit less painful.

She Who Shall Not Be Named use fattness to show characters as undesirable or stupid or evil. Lets re write the narrative. Fatness is not an evil trait. Just like skinnyness is not an indicator of purity.

Let me boys be fat! Fat is not undesirable and there is no excuse anyone can use against them being fat that I can't twist into them being fat.
