Story time: One of my Trippiest Manifestations

I rmr last semester wanting to befriend this kid on campus but I never got the chance to because they worked at the campus cafe that was always busy.. like PACKED and as chatty as I am I would’ve felt like an asshole starting up convo in the middle of the line and holding up customers. On top of that I never saw them outside of the cafe.. ever. I saw other coworkers but never ever them so I could never even talk to them If i wanted to.

One day, I decided that I was gonna shift into the state of them being my best friend. I literally don’t know how this happened so fast because this was still during a time when I was so 3D focused and doubted a lot but whatever. I told myself that the next day I was (a) see them outside of the cafe and (b) strike up a rlly long convo w them.

The next day, before class I went up on this terrace we have on campus to study a bit before class and LOOK WHO WALKS IN… yall… when I tell y’all I’ve never…. EVER seen this kid anywhere BUT that cafe before and the one time I decided to go up on the terrace they were there? coincidentally the day after I said I would see them around campus too? hmmm… that’s suspicious.

So later on in the day I went back to the cafe. I went in line and got a drink. At that point I always ordered the same thing so i requested that and this is the trippy part…why did they recall my name without me giving it…. I never volunteered my name they just “remembered” it and asked me… mind you.. hundreds of ppl come in and out of that cafe everyday.. up until that point we never had a real convo and if they were taking my order they would always have to ask me what my name was bc there’s sooooo many ppl coming in and out they literally cannot remember everybody. but coincidentally they know who i am now… THATS SUSPICIOUS….

Baking With Triple Frontier Mothers

Summary: For my @writer-wednesday entry wanted to do a heartwarming story. Featuring the boys’ moms.Getting together ,and have fun. Laughing, drinking,and chatting about their sons. This time the daughters join the party. Hope Yall enjoy!!

Diane Miller in the kitchen getting ready to do something she loves to do. Baking. Not alone. Baking with the other mothers on the Delta force. All of them met during basic training ceremonies. Forged a bond that won't break. They chat all a lot through the years. Until a few months ago when Frankie's mom moved to the same town as Santiago's mom. Which is closer to Diane's farm. Thought it would be fun for them to hang out.  Try out new recipes.  Talk about stuff. Mostly about their sons. Even daughters. 

Andie Garcia comes inside her mom's home. Heard some singing in Spanish.  Typical Maria. Always on the go. Never sit down.  Tell her kids when you get older. If you sit down long enough.  You die earlier than you are supposed to. Andie cleared her throat, " See you are happy this morning.  Baking flour? Oats? Hmmm.. are you going to see diane? Don't mind if I tag along. I know I know it's for mothers only.  Thought it would be nice to be around you all." Maria looks into her baby's eyes. Looks like her brother when he is sad. She has been going through a nasty relationship.  I Don't want to be alone . Maria hugs her tightly, " Sure I know the others won't mind. More the merrier I say." 

Grace Morales pulls up to the dirt road of the farmhouse.  Looking around to see how peaceful it looks. Thinking about how lucky to live in the country versus the city. Her thoughts were interrupted  by the sounds of a young woman's voice. Benny's twin sister Cindy Grace.  Goes over to help to unload the car," let me help with those. Can't wait to taste what yall gonna make." Looking at the young woman as she goes up the porch stairs," since when we allow young people to the party? Is there something I don't know about? " Cindy smiles," thought it would be nice to be around y'all today. Since Andie is going through some stuff.  In her case.  I don't want to be alone either." 

Maria enters the kitchen to see it's already a mess. Flour and other stuff on the counters. Mixers and other products as well. Diane offers her friend some sun tea," I know you might need this . Before we hit the wine.  Also other drink options for the daughters.  " Taking her drink. Sitting on the stool," Woman after my own heart. So.. anymore young women coming? " Diane chuckles, " That's all. I think?" Until the youngest Morales child comes in," Surprise mama! " Danny , the baby of the group arrived with stuff she knows her mom needs. 

Lastly, the Garcia women show up.  Lots of stuff for baking. Followed by food for after. Andie sighs thinking about how much she needs to hear Benny's voice right now. Her knight in shining armor.  Saved her from her ordeal. Sadly today no men are around.  So.. she calls him . Telling him she arrived safely. He knew that she was still scared. That they will meet up later on. Cindy sess her friend.  Goes over to her," come on honey. Time to get our hands into some dough,and then we can eat." 

House was full of laughter and music. Also smells of herbs and cheeses fill the air. While the bread was baking. All of the women head over to the living room with photos of their boys. Laughing about a story about William and Benny being hit with flour . Cindy spits up her drink," Ma! We were making some bread for a cooking class for school.  Benny wasn't paying attention.  Like always. Will just happened to walk into the room at the wrong time.  " Diane laughs," Right! Till yall have to clean up the mess. Reason why all of them can't be in my kitchen.  That's my domain." Maria laughs about her memory of her son doing that too. Andie beats her mom to the punch," Santiago loved to bake. His brothers still don't know that.  Other than Frankie.  He would visit from time to time.  One day. Tango wanted to try a new bread recipe.  Something out of his league. Frankie came in unannounced of course.  Taps him on the shoulder.  Caused him to hit his friend with the bread batter! Which resulted in a fight. Which I witnessed. Helped them clean up before mama came home." Laughter filled the air till Danny smiles at a memory she has in her head. Till the time goes off. Saved by the bell. The mothers got up to check on their bread. More where that comes from.  

The young ladies had time to chat. More importantly to help Andie through her ordeal.She reveals that she might be falling for Benny.  Afraid to tell her brother about that. Each of them tells her to go with her gut. 

Meanwhile the mothers look at the scene in the living room.  Made them smile. Thinking this arrangement should include them too. Good bonding for them. Next time bring stuff to go with the bread. 

Smell of the bread draws the daughters to the kitchen.  Reached for different things for the bread from apple butter to pepper jelly. More tales were shared till they heard the sounds of male voices. Loud ,and deep. One in particular made Andie smile. Benny. She goes over to him. Holding him tightly.  Santiago sees this exchange. Thinking nothing about it since she has been through so much. ☆ thinking about it, one of them (or maybe both) prob play an instrument of some sort. Since they have that cash money.

☆ so Bob plays a violin. I feel like he would be forced to learn to play.

☆ Randy loves hearing Bob play violin, but Bob says it's embarrassing.

☆ they act so stupid when they are alone together. They act uncivilized. But it's alr bc they're actually pretty funny

☆ I think that Randy has a butterfly collection. (I could go into detail about that if I rlly wanted to and I might,, all depends if yall wanna hear me rant about butterflies)

☆ Bob loves hearing randy talking about all the different types of butterflies their are and which Is his favorite. It's the simple things 😌

☆ Bob fs hates the color green. So sometimes Randy will purposely buy smth in green as a little joke and wear it around all day.

☆ hmmm... I think Bob would be a massive Dog lover and always pet dogs while him and Randy are walking around or smth. And Randy can't do anything about it bc Bob will not let the dog go until he's finished.

☆ Bob has tried picking up random stray dogs he finds and Randy has to try and literally PRY the dog out of his hands.

☆ Randy uses the same cologne and deodorant 24/7. He buys the same brand and everything. So everytime Bob is near Randy all he has to do is just sniff around bc Randy wears the same thing all the time and he'll find him.

☆ Bob doesn't rlly care that much about his hair. Not as much as you'd think, he prob brushed it like once in the morning and at night and that's that.

☆ it literally drives Randy insane.

☆ they each have scattered items from each other in their cars. Like Randy has a soc from Bob and Bob has a button or smth from Randy. They don't do this on purpose.

☆Bob tries to bring Randy with him everytime his parents and him go on vacation or smth. (I just remembered Randy saying in the book that Bob's parents rlly cared for him. So they'd probably go on vacations)

☆ Randy does actually go with him on most of them. Usually he doesn't go whenever he just feels like he shouldn't or doesn't want to.

☆ they're both great students in school, but Randy will act dumb in class sometimes just so Bob can help him.

no worries, I'm also on here very inconsistently but that really warms my heart <33 I'll do my best to make it worthwhile for you!!

I work as a transportation engineer and it's a pretty niche field but I use programs like autocad on a daily basis

signal ... was definitely a show that I loved in the beginning but it got super dark and sad *cries in corruption* but I agree with that, I hide behind my anger at those types of shows. that being said, the guest and save me is still on my to watch list lol

I still haven't finished twenty five twenty one cause it's not a show I can watch in one setting! it's good but in small doses!!

the time travel shows are really hit and miss cause it throws off everything! but I ignore the time travel and the plot holes cause some of the time travel shows had really good characters

the killer's shopping list was good and short! it is a little odd cause it's more comedy than serious for most parts of the show. it's not the next Stranger but I still enjoyed it!

ahhh the business proposal!!! that show was *chef's kiss* super good! I loved both couples, but the ending was super cliche you could make a drinking game of how many cliches they had in the last episode haha both of the couples were very cute i agrees so they get a pass

prosecuter doberman <33 don't @ me but I didn't think Ahn Bo Hyun was good looking until My Name and Military Prosecuter. Itaewon Class did him so dirty (that show was overhyped too but ignore that if you liked it!) I sped through the last half cause I was hooked! and attorney woo too! I heard the cast went on a vacation on their own personal time and that's so cute of them! I think there may be a season 2 too!!!

LOL sorry omg i really died. like am still dying. i spent all day yesterday crying over my coursework and shit but i talked to that guy and he really knocked some sense into me and told me to not be so hard on myself... so now im crying internally and not externally 😭

ive been thinking about it now and i think i might switch majors for the sake of my sanity bc real talk the amount of work is insane and i cant properly function it's crazy out here idk how people do this... i was thinking maybe health sci since i already have most of the credits for the degree and ive always wanted to be involved in the healthcare field... im gonna see my academic advisor on monday and see what they say because holy guacamole i want to be able to enjoy school w/o crying every time i think about it

Just as you entered the class you went towards your seat which was the 3rd bench at the 3rd row. Your seatmate whose name was Sana greeted you. "Good morning y/n , we were just talking about the schools prom". Said Sana mentioning your other 2 friends lily and taehyun. "Ohh cool , what about prom" you asked. "Well we were thinking about who to go with" replied lily. "Hmmm do any of you guys have a partner?" You asked . "No one" they all said together. "Alright if no one asked anyone of us , how about we go together as a group" you suggested. "Yea that's a good idea" they all said together.

Unknown to you there was a particular guy who everyone called a nerd who was listening to you. He was jay. He really wanted to ask you out but was scared of getting rejected. He was used to everyone looking down at him that he was scared if you would say no. When the schools popular guy -jake -got to know about his crush he told jay how he is not worth for you and only Jake is capable to make you his gf. That made him insecure. He knew you wouldn't bully him or reject him harshly - he knew you weren't like that. You were kind , loving , caring . But he was scared of a simple rejection- cuz what if you liked someone else? He couldn't bare to hear that. It would break his heart. He was thinking about confessing to you today so he can also ask you to the prom.

Meanwhile you took a glance at jay. You liked him. Ofc you did. He was so cute , smart , kind and everything you would want in a guy. You were wishing that he would ask you out or if he didn't you were planning on asking him out at the end of the day. You were praying to God that he would confess - because you kinda had suspicion about his crush on you but you were unsure if it was really true.

The lecture started and yall went to your respective seats. The teacher came in and started her class.

After some time

The bell rang indicating that it's lunch break. Everyone went to either the cafeteria or to the lockers.You and your friends went to the lockers so did jay to keep your books and stuff in your lockers. You were chatting with your friends when suddenly someone tapped your shoulders. You turned around to see Jake. He smiles at you. "Hi y/n" he said

"oh hey Jake what's up"

"I was wondering if you could come to the rooftop with me for a moment"

You glanced at your friends and they nodded their heads.

You smiled and agreed.

However jay didn't like it. Jay was so scared of you accepting Jake's confession. He decided to follow you and listen to what Jake really had to say. He had a tiny bit of a hope that you would say no to Jake.

Jake and you reached the rooftop and so did jay but jay hid behind the door. Jake started . "So y/n , you know how ppl say that I like you ? They aren't just rumors- I do like you. So would you be my girlfriend?"

You were shocked. You didn't know what to say but you tried your best not to sound rude. "Ummn I really appreciate you liking me Jake but I'm sorry I can't reciprocate your feelings"

Jake's smile dropped and he stepped closer to you. "What do you mean y/n? Do you not know how rich and popular I am? Are you seriously rejecting me?" He scoffed and grabbed your arm harshly. "You can't reject me - you have to accept my confession" you were trying your best to get out of his grip " wtf let me go Jake - that's not how it works" suddenly jakes grip on you loosened because he got punched by jay who was raging. "She said she doesn't like you . Don't you get it?" Jay said. "Yeahhh your nerd how dare you punch me" Jake said holding his jaw. " I punched you once - get lost before I beat the shit out of you"

" You are going to regret this" Jake stated and stormed out of there.

Jay turned to you and his gaze softened.

"Are you alright?" He asked you.

You nodded " yes I'm okay , thank you for saving me jay"

" No it's nothing , I also wanted to tell you something"

"Go on , I'm all ears"

He was nervous and so were you. His heart was beating so fast that you could hear it faintly.

"I-I really liked you. I have been for some time. You are just so kind , beautiful , smart , caring . You like animals and kids. You help everyone. You are a total sweetheart that everyone loves.I know I'm just a nerd and nobody. I just wanna say that I would do anything for you. Would you be my girlfriend and would you accompy me to the prom as my partner?

He said in one breath while looking down.

His head snapped up to you when he heard you softly giggle.

You had a big smile on your face. The smile that melts his heart.

"I would love to be your girlfriend jay and accompany you to the prom. And you are not a nobody to me jay - I like you alot aswell" you said and hugged him. He was surprised and hugged you back so tightly.

"Omg omg i-is this really happening?"wait this is really happlening . Y/n is my girlfriend..omg I can't believe this"

You laughed softly at this and kissed his cheek.

"Let's goo!!!" Shouted your friends from behind.

IUI - Pepperoni Delight

I had shitty frozen pizza for dinner and felt the need to do a thing. I missed my inked up idiots, what can I say? also im two weeks from the end of my AA and angrily throwing pencils at a sketchpad bc why the fuck do i need to take art classes for my fucking degree

Geralt called Jaskier for the third time that night, opening with yet another apology when his new boyfriend picked up, “I’m so sorry. I just left the bar. Fucking bridal parties.”

A sweet peal of laughter rang in his ear as he fumbled with the keys to the bar, waving his fellow employees to their cars, “Geralt, I told you, it’s fine. I rescheduled the reservation. Just come over on your way home if you’re up for it.”

“I am! I’ll be twenty minutes tops.”

“I’ll start the pizza then,” Jaskier chimed.

Geralt did his best to fix his messy hair as he drove. When he parked in Jaskier’s lot he changed from his shirt that smelled of sour beer and acrid liquor to a sweatshirt that he’d made sure to spray some cologne on that morning. It passed the sniff test so he hopped out of his car and prayed he hadn’t spilled anything too horrible on his jeans or boots. 

He was worried Jaskier wouldn’t hear his knock over the music practically shaking the door, but almost as soon as he stepped back and shoved his hands in his pocket it died and the door swung open. 

Jaskier leaned on the doorjamb, giving Geralt an exaggerated once over, “Hey there good lookin.”

All Geralt could do was snort, a fond smile spreading on his face.

“I know, I know,” Jaskier giggled, reaching out his hand which Geralt took without thinking, “You look like you need a beer.”

“Mhm,” Geralt couldn’t help the way he melted, completely pliable for the chatterbox of a tattoo artist. He’d been smitten from the word ‘go’, but it only got worse the more time they spent together. In the last two weeks they’d spent all their free time together and it was already unimaginable to go back to the way he was living before. Jaskier set him at ease, he had such a carefree air about him that swept Geralt up and away from his day’s worries. By now in a relationship, he would usually be scrambling for a way to distance himself, but he found he was leaning in.

He only realized he’d been zoning out when Jaskier grabbed his hand and closed it around the cold bottle with an affectionate smile, “Bridal parties are that tiring?”

“Fucking exhausting,” Geralt sighed before taking a long pull from his beer, “and it was a big one.”

Jaskier pecked his cheek, “Good thing you’re all mine now.”

“Oh? What do you have planned?”

“Planned? Have you met me?”

Geralt smirked and shook his head, wrapping his arms around Jaskier’s waist and settling his chin on his shoulder while he dug around in a kitchen drawer, “Hmmm”

Hours and two frozen pizzas later, they were entangled on Jaskier’s couch making comments on Wipeout that were more delirious giggles than actual opinions. 

Jaskier lifted his head from where it was lying against Geralt’s chest, “Feeling better?”

Blinking the drowsiness out of his eyes, Geralt croaked out a small, “Yep. You and shitty pizza did the trick.”

The fog of impending sleep left his body immediately as he stared wide eyed down at Jaskier. For a moment he expected to be chewed out, maybe to have Jaskier scramble out of his arms to sit at the other end of the couch, but his boyfriend just raised one eyebrow and cocked his head to the side. 

“I mean- fuck- the- good shitty. Not fancy,” Jaskier wrinkled his nose and Geralt couldn’t tell if it was affection or annoyance, “Just a.. Uh… lazy night in. With you. And not shitty pizza. Nice… nice pizza.”

It didn’t feel satisfactory but it was all Geralt could manage as an explanation.

“Nice pizza? Like a dog?” Jaskier licked his lips and Geralt didn’t think he’d ever been so nervous before in his life.

“N-no?”

Jaskier’s mouth twitched in what could have been anger for one terrifying moment before he burst out laughing, burying his face in Geralt’s chest as he shook with giggles, “You’re so fucking cute.”

“I’m glad you think so…?” Geralt let out a hesitant laugh as Jaskier shimmied up his torso so they were eye to eye. 

“I’m not insulted by your take on Great Value frozen Pepperoni Delight. If anything it’s quite endearing,” Jaskier assured him, placing a soft kiss to his lips.

Relief flooded Geralt as he kissed Jaskier back, “Mmm… Thank fuck.”
