The members of Gekidan Haikyuu share their thoughts after reading the final chapter of Haikyuu!  They were also all given special commemorative shirts to congratulate the series!

Yamagiwa Kaito (2nd Yahaba) For eight years, I’ve looked forward to the new chapters every week, and every week they’ve been so much fun! I am who I am now because of Haikyuu, and so all I have are words of gratitude for Haikyuu.  I’ll be looking forward to whatever series Furudate-sensei makes next with all my heart! In all seriousness though... If you haven't watched these plays, you are MISSING OUT! I am so in love with these, I have the DVDs and I am seeing the next one on stage in November.

It covers the rookie winter training camps and the Dateko practise match from the manga. I can't wait to see Kindaichi spike that ball into Hinata's crotch-

I wish all the new actors for Karasuno well in their roles, I'm sure they'll do a brilliant job! Along with all the new characters we haven't seen, too!

Actor of the Day: Yamagiwa Kaito

Today’s actor of the day is Yamagiwa Kaito! Born January 18th, 1995, he is originally from Tokyo. He is a relatively new face in the entertainment world; his first major anime on stage role was his recent appearance as Yahaba Shigeru in Hyper Projection Engeki “Haikyuu!!.” Offstage, he excels at short distance running-- he can run 100 meters in 11 seconds!-- and brags that his special skill is being able to fully solve a rubik's cube in one minute. We’re excited to see what this talented young man does next!
