Warnings: Extreme fluff, Mostly out of character Roa faction, Christmas romance fluff, Oc is a trans man (because I am gonna be the representation I wanted when I first started reading fanfics, though its only mentioned once or twice in the story), hopeless romantic fluff. Shitty writing, Also, I am clearly in a Christmas mood (this was written October 16th,2023 but I am posting it November first)

Yamaguchi Magoroku had met Sora Kenji while they were both in Suzuran together; they had secretly dated since the events of the fight against the three school alliance led by Amagai Kohei. Both men had loved each other longer than that, and when they had started their secret romance, they had not expected it to bloom the way it did. You see, Sora Kenji was transgender and he worried that he was going to lose the love of Magoroku very fast once he learned that. When the taller of the two who was 5 '11 found out though it was the opposite of what Kenji had expected. It had made  his high school sweetheart even more overprotective of him, made him want to keep him on a chain attached to him so they wouldn’t have to be apart. For the longest time, they spoke of the dream to move in together once graduating from the Suzuran school, and as the day of graduation skidded upon them like a speeding car, the Roa faction member pulled out two sets of keys, a bright smile on his face as he had secured a small apartment for the two of them. Summer turned to fall, which brought the joys of a cozy and warm home that smelled of Cinnamon and spice incense and a warm dinner. There was always some type of seasonal ambient music playing through the bluetooth speaker of the shorter male’s phone. Kenji was only five foot three and hated how short he was, so he tried to make up for it by doing the cleaning and cooking if Magoroku set out the proper things for it before leaving the house to go help Roa where they now worked together. Fall soon chilled into winter, and on a chilly November night, a fire crackling on the tv while playing Christmas music, two bodies sat snuggled on their couch wrapped in a large blanket, the smaller man sitting to his tall lover’s left, head laying on his chest. He had no clue that one of the reasons the entire Roa faction had been out more was that the once bubble gum popping male had gotten a few extra shifts to buy a gold wedding band with a ruby set into its thicker band. He was just waiting to find a time that felt right to propose. 

“You know, this may sound silly, but I always used to dream of being kissed under mistletoe in the snow at Christmas, and proposed to on christmas eve in the snow fall with like, a beautiful lit tree behind me and my partner. I was told that it was more ‘girly’ by most because it sounds like a romance movie, but I always just found something so romantic about Christmas.” Kenji’s voice is deep but soft, he had a naturally deeper voice than his boyfriend, but they both loved it. 

“ I feel like Christmas is definitely something that I could understand as being romantic. Especially if you are with someone you love.” Magoroku looked down at his darling, the shorter male’s raven hair was styled into a messy shaggy hairstyle with curls, his honey skin was glowing in the dimly light room, the pair had been wanting to start decorating soon, so they had boxes from their second room that they used as a storage room out, getting Christmas ready slowly. He knew when he would propose and how now. The excitement that ran through Magoroku was something that he was sure his darling could hear, his heart racing as he planned away in his head. He wanted it perfect, and he wanted to film it and make it for a part of his home video. He knew he would say yes, they had been talking about wanting to get married since their last year of high school started, and now that it was over, he knew they would take the leap this Christmas.

The tree had been set up, the apartment smelled like baked Christmas cookies and warm dinner, the Christmas tree incense was lit and going in the living room, holiday music playing through the record player speaker, and a candy cane apron was perched over the top of Kenji’s clothing as he baked and cooked for the night ahead. The Roa faction was coming over for a Christmas eve celebration, to open gifts and have dinner, as a group of happy friends before they all went to do their plans for the next day.  Magoroku was out getting the last minute stuff and picking up Mario, and soon the other faction members arrived, carrying gifts to be set under the beaming tree the couple had decorated. The group planned to have different people host each year and the two had volunteered. Everyone was soon gathered around the table laughing, looking back on their school years now that they had been out of it since summer, quickly approaching the one year mark. To Kenji, things felt right, they were warm, happy moments that he had always wanted with friends. Tomorrow, Christmas day, was just for him and his darling Magoroku, but tonight was friends that were like a close family, and he wouldn’t want it any other way. Dinner had been a hit, and now the rather large group was huddled by the tree, the small apartment not bothering any of them as they packed in like a can of sardines. Magoroku had planned with the others to let his present to Kenji be last, it was supposed to snow around 11:30 pm and that was the perfect time to do his plan. The presents were opened, some were more gag gifts with real ones given after to make the mood light, some were very deep and meaningful, and some were just what the other needed. As Mercy gathered all the discarded gift wrapping, Binzo slipped out, supposedly to use the bathroom, but in reality, he was hanging mistletoe from a spot near a lit Christmas tree outside, the cozy neighborhood that the soon to be fiances had settled into being perfect for the occasion. Luckily for him, the spot was only a few buildings down from the duplex that the hosts lived in and he was good friends with the old lady who lived close by. 

“Oh look, it is snowing! We should all take a walk in it and take a group picture.” Bizo pipes after sneaking back inside, a bright smile on his face as he sent a wink to the way of his school friend to inform him the plan was a go. He knew that Roa was hiding the ring in his pocket until the right time, which was now because Kenji was in the kitchen with a Ito and  putting left overs into containers for everyone to take home. 

Roa passed the ring in the black velvet box to his smaller friend and claps him on the back, “Mercy and I will be recording from different angles while Binzo stays up with the mistletoe so its perfect, though it is currently hanging from a post as a marker for where the plan goes into motion at.” The six foot three man whispers, the pride he felt for being apart of this was something that was no surprise of anyone else, because they all considered the shortest male as their brother and friend.

Soon enough, seven pairs of feet made their way to the best light display in the area, a grin laying on the face of Kenji, who held his lover’s hand as they walked in the falling snow, his heart full and his body bundled warm and cozy for this trek. He however felt confusion settle in the depths of his mind as his partner pulled his hand away and settled in a spot that Binzo was clearly perched on. Kenji raised an eyebrow as Ito nodded once, telling the short and perplexed male to go forward. Roa and Mercy pulled out cameras, Kansuke was softly playing music on his phone, just loud enough for the camera to hear, it was soft Christmas music that was all instrumental and sounded extremely romantic. Everyone had a part and suddenly, a feeling burned in the pit of Kenji’s stomach as he realized something, though currently he was unsure of what was in fact going on.

Magoroku grabbed the hands of his soon to be fiance, making sure that neither of them had gloves on for this part before doing so. He made deep eye contact and started speaking in the most love filled voice the other had ever heard. “Baby, we have been together through high and low, the worst of times, the best of times, and even the times that seemed almost like we would be bored if not for each other. We fall more in love every day and spend most nights talking about what the future holds. In November, you told me something important, something I will always remember now as we are here tonight. We planned our future out in high school, and I can’t let a moment slip away with you. I want to make sure that we will be forever one. You said that most found your cheese views on the Christmas eve proposal in the snow and locking it in with a kiss under mistletoe was cheesy, I find it to be the sweetest thing ever. And tonight I want to make that all come true for you. Sora Kenji, the love of my life, the one who brings out the best in me. I love you with all my heart and here I stand tonight to bring your wishes come true, and hopefully if you say yes to the question I am going to ask, I can promise a future of even more of your dreams come true. Will you marry me?”

By now, all seven people had teared up, even Binzo and as Kenji replied, his voice shook and cracked, a smile laced on his face as the Christmas lights cast their glow onto the group through the falling snow, “Y-yes. I will forever say yes to marrying you, Yamaguchi Magoroku.” 

Binzo dropped the fishing wire that held the mistletoe down from the small tree he stood behind on a ladder while the ring slipped onto the newly engaged man’s finger. Magoroku looked up, smiled and kissed his lover’s lips, hands wrapped around the smaller’s waist  as he leaned down to kiss him. 

It was that night that the movie clip for their engagement would be marked off for their wedding, and Christmas dreams came true. Christmas really was a magic time of year.

so I've been seeing all the match ups and i was like you know what, fuck it, i should enter one because I've been DYING of curiosity the past few weeks.

I'm an ENFP, my zodiac sign is sagittarius, and my favorite color is purple (though i usually end up wearing black) I like trying new things, and pushing as many boundaries as possible. I like to make people laugh, and make a lot of jokes (sometimes at my own expense) helping other people is something i like doing a lot, since i feel like i have to be needed to be worth anything. I'm very blunt and straightforward, which sometimes makes me seem mean, since i say whatever comes to mind. (my friends would say I'm out of pocket 24/7)

I'm definitely the wild card of the friend group, and i act pretty confident, but i don't have a great sense of self worth. I don't enjoy being vulnerable around many people, and it takes a while for me to trust people with my actual thoughts and feelings. because of this sometimes the things i do and say i sometimes seem insincere.

i really enjoy creating art, in any form. i have pretty diverse music taste, and i speak multiple languages. (i may act like a dumb ass but I'm sure as hell not stupid)

La storia è ambientata 10 anni dopo gli eventi di “Basilisk” ed è incentrata su Hachirou e Hibiki, due ninja appartenenti clan rivali Kouga e Iga.

Un adattamento manga di “Basilisk: Ouka Ninpouchou” è stato lanciato da Masaki Yamada e Tatsuya Shihira nel luglio 2017.

Fuutarou Yamada è l’autore dei romanzi originali intitolati “Kouga Ninpouchou”, pubblicati fra il 1958 e 1959, sui quali si basano i vari adattamenti di Basilisk. L’opera ha ispirato nel 2005 un film live-action dal titolo “Shinobi - La spada contro il cuore” arrivato anche in Italia, oltre alla serie tv animata “Basilisk” prodotta dallo studio Gonzo nello stesso anno.

Warnings: mention of murder, violence, mention of stabbing, harassing, fights, and usual hnl warnings, a little heartbreaking story :(

When she reached Suzuran's garden gate, the young girl looked around nervously. The school she hadn't even been close to before was really as scary as it was said.She took a deep breath and approached one of the boys in the garden.

"Excuse me?"

The short-haired boy turned to her and looked at the young girl standing at the garden gate in bewilderment. But his surprise was short-lived, as he approached the young girl with a strange grin.

“What is a sweet girl like you doing here?”

Y/n nervously grabbed the handle of her bag and took a step back.

“I… I'm looking for Yamaguchi-san.”

The young boy understood that she is looking for Raoh Faction’s Yamaguchi. But he did not withdraw. He wanted to get a little closer to her. Y/n knew he wasn't well-intentioned so she wanted get out. But that was no longer necessary cause Magoroku was right behind her.

When Y/n heard someone popping gum behind her, she turned around in surprise and saw two boys, one with messy hair and the other with ponytail and chewing gum.

"Back off, you're scaring the girl."

When Magoroku looked at the boy in front of him with a harsh tone, he was also looking at her. Binzo smiled and took a few steps.

“You want a fight?”

The boy who scared Y/n knew he couldn't deal with Binzo alone, he walked away without saying a word and left the three of them alone. Y/n gulped as Magoroku and Binzo returned their gazes to the young girl.

“I heard you are looking for me, is there a problem?”

Y/n slowly nodded. Seeing her shy state, Binzo thought it was a date offer or a love confession and grinned. Magoroku sensed something odd.

Y/n thought for a moment what she was going to say, it got harder and harder as the seconds passed, and she couldn't. Grabbing the handle of her bag tightly, she nodded and, with a sudden apology, quickly walked away from the school gate.

Binzo and Magoroku stared after her in shock for a few seconds. Binzo laughed and punched Magoroku on the shoulder.

“Dude, this was definitely weird”

Magoroku shook his head and laughed nervously

“Yeah it was… but… i feel like I've seen her before.”

The young girl had been thinking about the mistake she had made ever since. She should never have gone there. She should never have seen him. And she shouldn't even come close to him.

She was distractedly taking orders at her part-time job. She greeted the new customer without looking up.

“Can I have two coffees?”

Y/n looked up from the screen at the familiar voice and froze at the person she saw. The person she feared to meet was here. It wasn't hard to find her, of course. But she didn't expect it to happen so soon.

She stared at him for a while, puzzled. Magoroku offered a small smile. Y/n came back to reality and tried to smile.

“Do you use sugar?”

"Yes."

“For both?”

"Yes."

Y/n nodded and wrote the order.

"Anything else?"

“I'll be waiting for you outside after I've had the coffees-” he looked at the young girl's name card "Y/n-san"

Y/n nervously nodded and handed him the receipt. While he was getting the coffees from the other counter, y/n asked her friend to look after her place. And she took off her apron and walked towards the door.

She was nervous, she was afraid. What would she say to him?

When he went out into the garden, no one was there. The hour was too late. Magoroku was waiting for her in the back. Y/n took a deep breath and walked towards him.

"Hello."

Magoroku held out the coffee.

"Hello. The other one was for you, you must be tired.”

Y/n stared at the coffee for a few seconds in surprise. She then gave a small thank you and took the coffee. He had no way of knowing that she loved sugar, but it was a sweet coincidence.

“Do I know you Y/n? I've been thinking about it ever since. But I can't be sure."

Y/n was silent for a while. He had felt it.Maybe he remembers her. But they were both kids those times,they had changed a lot.

“Binzo thinks you are one of those high school girls who wants to give a love letter.”

Y/n smiled as Magoroku said with a small laugh.And slowly nodded.

“It was 8-9 years ago, on a February evening. The weather was cold and snowy. There was a little girl trying to sell chocolate near the corner market.”

Magoroku looked at her in surprise. And he whispered.

"You…"

“That little girl was alone every night on that corner trying to buy her mother's meds. But she wasn't alone that evening. She had a friend with her. He was helping her sell the chocolates. He even scared those who didn't buy and made them buy it."

Y/n stopped and chuckled.

“I have never forgotten that little girl and boy.”

Magoroku looked at the girl with tears in her eyes. He remembered everything, of course.

“When that little girl went home that night, her father had killed her mother.”

Magoroku stared at her with wide eyes.

“If that little boy hadn't helped me that day, he would have killed me too if I had given up and returned home early…”

There was silence for a while. A light wind blew.

“You dropped it on your way home that night. It was the button of your coat. I never had the opportunity to give it to you. But I guess there's a second chance for everything in life, huh?"

Y/n shook her head. As she took a step back crying, Magoroku approached her and hugged her tightly.

“I missed you y/n-chan. I knew we would meet again one day. Welcome home."

Y/n gripped the young boy's cardigan tightly and continued to cry. But she knew that the hand that was stroking her hair right now would never leave her hand…

The Raoh faction was hanging out in the room upstairs of the school as usual. Binzo was sleeping, Mercy was reading a motorcycle magazine, Kamui and Kansuke were playing checkers, and Magoroku was kicking a punching bag.

Everyone was distracted by the sound coming from the door. While Binzo opened his eyes and listened to the sound, Magoroku stopped his kicks.

Someone walking in high heels was coming from outside and the sound was getting closer and closer.

When the door opened, everyone looked at the door. A person in a black hoodie had walked in and everyone was looking at them seriously. When the person who entered opened their hood and waved their hair, the five people in the room looked at them in surprise that this person was a girl.

“I knew I'd find you here.”

The young girl entered the room with a smile, as if what she was doing was a very normal thing, and looked at the sweating boy in front of the punching bag. Magoroku was looking at her seriously. Everyone in the room still didn't know what was going on.

“It's been a long time, Magoroku.”

Binzo and Mercy looked at each other and waited for what would happen. Magoroku looked pretty annoyed

“What are you doing here?”

"Ahh, you're so rude, Magoroku-chan," the young girl muttered, placing her hand on her heart. “When did you forget that we have a long history? Or didn't you miss me at all?”

When the young girl said it with a grin, Binzo stood up in surprise and walked towards the duo.

“Oi, Magoruku! Who's this ?"

Y/n looked at the messy haired boy approaching her and gave a sweet smile. Binzo knew that this was a sneaky attitude

“Magoroku never told you about me? It's truly heartbreaking..."

Kamui and Kansuke had no idea what was going on. Mercy thought this situation was quite strange and was trying to understand the young girl's strange behavior.

“Are you… his girlfriend?” When Binzo asked, the young girl grinned.

“We can say… ex-girlfriend”

When Y/n winked at Binzo, Magoroku rolled his eyes and grabbed the young girl's arm. While everyone in the room looked at them, y/n wiped the smile off her face and looked at the young boy with one eyebrow raised.

“Cut the bullshit. Why are you here, y/n?”

When Y/n looked at the hand holding her arm, Magoroku slowly removed his hand. The young girl smiled, deleting her serious expression.

“I thought you might have missed me.”

When Magoroku looked at the young girl with the same serious expression, y/n rolled her eyes.

“You're really boring, Magoroku-chan.”

Binzo asked confused, scratching his head.

“Is she your ex-girlfriend now or not?”

Magoroku said “No.” and y/n smiled when he replied

“I just wanted to make a somewhat fun entrance.”

Mercy stood up and asked calmly

“So, who are you?”

“L/n Y/n, but you can cal me y/n. I'm his childhood friend."

Magoroku replied as everyone made a noise of surprise.

"We are not friends."

Y/n turned to the young boy and rolled her eyes.

“I am a provider of information between schools. You can think of me as an informant. But I don't work for just one person.”

Mercy nodded. He liked the young girl's self-confident and cocky attitude. She was also brave enough to sneak into Suzuran. He wasn't surprised that Magoroku was her friend. -even though he says they're not friends-

“If your cool entrance is over…Why are you here y/n? You haven't been around for a long time."

The young girl seriously turned to her childhood friend

“I came to warn you. Even though we hate each other, I'd be bored without someone to tease."

Mercy didn't know what was going on between the two, but he was sure there was no hostility. Friendship ? This was definitely not the case either.

“Is someone targeting Magoroku?” Kansuke looked at his Senpai and the new girl with Binzo's question

“I heard a few things.” y/n said. “I'm not sure, but you better be careful.”

“You don't come here for something you're not sure about, y/n.” When Magoroku looked at the young girl, y/n smiled.

“I think we both know each other well.” Magoroku didn't show an expression. Y/n shook her head and headed for the door “Anyway, I'm leaving then. Be careful. I may not always be there to save your ass.”

Magoroku rolled his eyes when the young girl grinned. Y/n turned around and opened the door. But before she left the room, Magoroku called out to her.

“Y/n…Be careful. Don't do anything stupid for me.”

Y/n answered without turning around. “I'm not doing it for you. You owe me, don’t you forget.” She walked out the door and returned the way she came. Even though she couldn't admit it even to herself, she cared about him. She would have crossed the line for him.

And Magoroku knew this very well.

Suzuran was loud as always. After the visit of Fujio, the leader of Oya High, there was an argument between the Raoh faction and the other factions. After Mercy had silenced everyone for sure, he was going up the stairs.

Yamaguchi and Binzo were walking towards the stairs as Kamui walked right behind him.

As the voices rose again in the courtyard with the person in the gray hoodie and black jeans entering the yard, Yamaguchi and Binzo turned to look at the mysterious person in the yard.

When the person in the yard,unbuttoned their hood and tossed their hair, everyone was surprised to see that it was a girl at first, but then they fell silent with the familiar face.

As Binzo grinned at the familiar face, Yamaguchi rolled his eyes and walked towards the girl.

"Oi! A busy day huh?"

It was no surprise that the young girl fearlessly entered Suzuran. Y/n provided information exchange between gangs and mediated.  That's why she was on good terms with most schools and leaders. No one would hurt her because if they did, they would have to start a war with other schools.

So everyone in Suzuran got out of the way. And the young girl looked at the two who had turned towards the stairs, then gave up and moved towards her.

"I heard you couldn't handle Hanaoka Fujio. I thought you were the strongest school in the region."

Binzo rolled his eyes atwhat she said but Yamaguchi turned serious as Y/n said with a grin. Everyone knew how cocky and annoying this girl was. Binzo wouldn't start a fight because he knew she was just trying to annoy them and how well she got along with Mercy.

But there had been an enmity between Y/n and Yamaguchi for a long time.

There was no real reason, they both found each other annoying. And she wouldn't like to leave Suzuran without annoying him..

Yamaguchi angrily walked towards her, stopped in front of the young girl and looked at her with a serious look. Y/n was still grinning.

"What are you doing here? One day you're going to get beaten up accidentally because of your sudden arrivals."

When Yamaguchi grinned at the young girl, the young girl smiled and shook her head.

"Sometimes you forget how smart I am Magoroku-chan"

Yamaguchi was even more irritated by the way the young girl spoke.

"You're not smart, you're sneaky y/n-chan"

Y/n leaned a little closer to the younger boy with a smile, only millimeters between them.

"Smart or sneaky... I find most of the information you guys can't get with your fists. Just like today."

Yamaguchi still remained serious

"I can also use my fists as a plus. I know I'm pretty great."

The young boy rolled his eyes as the young girl smiled and blinked. Knowing that the bickering between the two always resulted in shouting at each other, Binzo approached the two of them and cleared his throat. But when the two did not turn to him, he shouted.

"Oi!" 

As the two turned to Binzo, Binzo nodded,

"I finally got attention. I think Mercy should listen to what y/n-chan has to say before you start an argument. If you want to fight later, I'll be the referee."

Yamaguchi glared wearily at Binzo as Binzo grinned wide, while Y/n walked up the stairs grinning and went upstairs. The boys followed her.

When Y/n entered the upstairs room, Mercy smiled and stood up.Y/n approached him with a smile as the boys followed her into the room.

"Y/n-chan! Too many visitors today."

Y/n smiled at what Mercy said with a smile.

"Mashii-san, you're the only one who welcomed me when I came here."

The young boy grinned as Y/n turned and smiled at Yamaguchi.

Mercy looked at the two of them and shook his head and laughed.

"Y/n-chan, I know you two don't get along well, although I don't know why, but today was a tiring enough day.".

Y/n nodded

"I didn't come here to fight, Mashii-san, don't worry. I also talked to Odajima from Housen before I came here. You've both noticed that there's been somethings happening in Senomon and Kamasaka high schools for a while. I've gathered information from some people from the schools. I haven't come to a conclusion yet, but if there's going to be a fight, the leaders must be arguing among themselves."

Mercy nodded his head.

"Do you trust those who give you information?"

Y/n nodded

"It's okay if I trust or not. Because I haven't come to a conclusion. But I guess the leader of Senomon, Amagai, will form an ally with Kamasaka high school. I even heard that Ebara might join this ally. So I think Suzuran should be careful."

Mercy nodded and thought for a few seconds. Y/n silently waited for him.

"I don't think they will attack Suzuran. Even 3 schools will not be strong for this place."

Y/n nodded

“I think so too. Odajima thinks they will attack Oya High. If Oya enters the fight, Housen will help.”

Mercy shook his head.

"If it turns out as we predicted, they'll want to keep Housen out of this incident. It would be great if you could find more information y/n-chan"

Y/n smiled and nodded.

Listening to the two in silence, Binzo and Yamaguchi saw the young girl walking towards the door to leave, and Yamaguchi stopped in front of the young girl.

"How much does Mashii pay you for this info?"

Y/n laughed and shook her head

"I don't get paid for every piece of information. Even if I did, I owe it to Mashii-san, he would always be the exception."

As Y/n winked and descended the stairs, Binzo grinned at Yamaguchi, while Mercy sighed and shook his head.

As the young boy was walking through the dark streets, he saw someone sitting on the sidewalk. Yamaguchi easily knew who it was even though they covered their face because their hair had fallen into their face.

Confused, he approached the girl sitting on the pavement with her knees drawn up. At this hour, he couldn't understand why she was sitting in such a dark street.

He silently walked up to her and stood in front of her. When the young girl felt that someone was standing in front of her, she lifted her head and looked at the young boy.

Yamaguchi's eyes opened wide. The young girl had been beaten, her face was scarred and her lip was burst. Moreover, her clothes was covered with dirt. It was obvious that there was a long fight.

Surprised, the young girl grinned and looked at the boy in front of her.

"What is it? Have you ever seen someone beaten up?"

Yamaguchi frowned. He was sure that it was hurting.She was so proud that she was still speaking smugly to hide it.

"What happened to you? Who did this?"

Y/n chuckled and nodded

"I was going to believe for a moment that you really felt worried for me Magoroku"

Yamaguchi continued his serious gaze.

"Come on, make fun of it. Say 'i told you so'. You won't get this chance again. You can laugh—"

"Shut up. What the hell are you doing? I'm not here to make fun of you."

Y/n looked at the young boy in surprise and saw how serious he was. Yamaguchi shook his head and sighed.

"I will ask again, who did this? Why? Every one knows they shouldn't touch you, who dared to do that?"

Y/n took a deep breath.

"They must be from Kamasaka. I rejected the leader of the senomon. He must have let his dogs come and find me."

Thinking about what had just been said, Yamaguchi understood what she was talking about and clenched his fist.  He hadn't expected them to go this far. 

In fact, he knew very well that one day y/n would get herself in trouble. She was thinking everything was a game and that made Yamaguchi angry.

While he was thinking about these things, he looked at the young girl with the sobbing sound he heard. He crouched on the ground worriedly and approached the young girl.

"Hey? Look at me."

Y/n lifted her head with the young boy's solemn and authoritative voice and looked into his eyes. Yamaguchi didn't know what to say when he saw that the girl's eyes were full of tears and she was crying.

"You... Why are you crying? Does it hurt so much? Ahh... what am I asking? Of course it must be hurting. Do you want to go to the hospital?"

Y/n shook her head as the young boy asked one question after another and placed one hand on Yamaguchi's shoulder.

"It doesn't hurt that much"

Yamaguchi looked at her in surprise, and the young girl continued.

"I'm not crying because it hurts, crying because I'm useless."

"Huh? What the hell are you talking about?"

Y/n shook her head

"My family... My family kept saying I was useless. No matter what I did, I couldn't be enough for them. I... I wanted to do something where I could prove myself. I wanted to let people know that I wasn't weak, that my name—"

Another small sob escaped her lips.

"I don't need money, Magoroku-kun. But I wanted to show my family that I can make money myself. I just wanted to prove something, show that I'm useful, but..."

The young girl's eyes filled with tears again and her voice trembled. And Yamaguchi showed a side of him that he had never shown at that moment. He pulled the young girl to him and hugged her slowly.

Y/n was surprised for a few seconds, but she clinged tightly to his jacket and began to cry.And the young boy patted her back.

Neither knew how much time had passed. As Y/n slowly separated from the young boy,Yamaguchi smiled at her.

"You really are stupid, you know that right?"

Yamaguchi smiled as Y/n slowly nodded her head.

"You're not useless y/n-chan. You're not weak, either. You're one of the smartest, strongest girls I've ever seen. Of course, the most annoying, too."

Y/n chuckled at what Yamaguchi said with a grin

"Besides, if you couldn't protect yourself, you'd probably be in the hospital right now. I don't think those bastards were being gentle to you."

Y/n felt a warmth in her heart when she realized what Yamaguchi was trying to do.

They had known each other for a long time. Even though everyone thought they hated each other, things were very different.

Y/n knew that Yamaguchi was one of the strongest in Suzuran. It wasn't too hard to understand that he had a good heart underneath his tough exterior.  They called him the lone wolf. Even though he was quieter and calmer than the others, he liked to argue with y/n every time.

Yamaguchi, on the other hand, thought that the young girl was acting reckless, but in fact, he also softened after learning why. Moreover, he had never hated her.  He liked to argue with her too.

Y/n smiled and nodded. Yamaguchi grinned at the young girl.

"Do you know what my role in Suzuran?"

Y/n looked at him confused.

"I heard you're the bodyguard of the Raoh faction?"

Yamaguchi laughed and shook his head, and soon after, he turned around and stepped in front of the young girl.

"Jump on my back, I know you don't have the strength to walk"

Although Y/n didn't know what to say at first, she muttered a small thank you and jumped on the young boy's back and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Yamaguchi smiled and started walking.

"I guess now I have to be your bodyguard too"

Y/n laughed and muttered quietly

"I don't need a bodyguard"

Yamaguchi laughed and shook his head

"Then how would you like me to be your boyfriend?"

Y/n froze for a few seconds in surprise, but smiled and rested her head on the young boy's neck. Smiling, she closed her eyes. When Yamaguchi felt the young girl's head, he glanced at her and smiled.

They both knew very well that they didn't hate each other...

It hurts, it really hurts. Your eyes are blacking out because of the pain, but at least you have to make it to school. You wish you had listened to him, you wish you weren't so stubborn. He's going to be very angry with you, isn't he?

You tried to hold your stomach and ease the pain, but it wasn't working. It was difficult to breathe. You had no strength left in your legs.

At least you were very close to school. You could see Suzuran's garden gate. You would be safe when you saw him.

Magoroku was right, you weren't as strong as him. You didn't have to prove anything to him. He loved your smart side, not your punches.

But you were stupid. You were so arrogant. You thought you could beat them. They would probably make fun of you.

You closed your eyes tightly, willing the pain to fade away a little. But it wasn't working. When you opened your eyes, you could see your boyfriend running towards you, but you had no strength left to stay standing.

You were falling to the ground, you felt it, but someone was holding you. You knew very well who they were. Even if you didn't see his shirt, you could recognize him by his perfume. He was here for you.

You could hear shouts, the boy holding you tightly was screaming in worry.

You probably looked pretty bad, you knew your face was bruised and bloody. He must have been scared.

You could also hear Binzo's and your other friends' voices. Were you conscious? You weren't sure. It was hard to open your eyes, but someone's voice was very clear.

“Hey, hey y/n! Who did this to you?! We'll go to the hospital, okay? You will be fine!"

Magoroku Yamaguchi, the cold and calm man of the Raoh faction. You didn't like hearing him panicked like this.

"I am sorry…"

You weren't sure if they could hear your quiet voice. But a warm hand was caressing your hair.

“You're not the one who should apologize. I'll make them pay for this. Just stay awake okay?!”

You tried to nodd your head slowly, you didn't know if you could, but the warmth of the arms surrounding you made you feel a little better...
