kohei being sent into panic attacks at the sight of screwdrivers and power drills and rika freezing up and starting trembling when he has to hold a hammer, all their tools are under lock and key. only juo ever uses them, and only after he makes sure he’s alone in the room. if he needs help no he doesn’t but if really he needs more hands then he finds someone to coerce into helping him

juo, who keeps pretending none of it all has left any lasting impact on him, wakes up in cold sweat after nightmares in which he falls. he has that one falling sensation every time he lies down and closes his eyes. he has to take a bit to calm down his breathing, every time. one day he slips and falls in the stairs. he’s not hurt physically but he’s an empty shell for the rest of the day. rika and kohei have to keep slight contact with him at all time when it happens

Yeah, Kohei. Juo doesn’t even understand what the fuck he’s sending most of the time and when Juo does send memes, it’s often outdated ones. But he’s doing an effort and both his boyfriends find it cute. Juo’s not a very online person, unlike Kohei

Who likes to tidy around the house?

Not gonna copy from the other posts again but definitely Rika again. Househusband energy through the roof but actually has a full time job

Who likes to play pranks on the others?

Kohei, pretty harmless ones for his tiktoks. Juo, pretty dangerous ones to annoy Rika. Juo doesn’t prank Kohei because Rika knows how he does his pranks and threatened him with breaking up and worse things (cutting off all his hair, scratching his bike, burn his gloves, he attacks where it hurts) if he did any of that to Kohei and well. Juo’s not risking it. Kohei also learned the hard way that Juo’s spontaneous reaction to pranks can be very violent. Rika dosn’t hold these ones against him because he wasn’t the first offender/it wasn’t planned.

Who asked the others to move in with them?

Rika. I could elaborate but I have ten thousands scenarii for how they get together so I’m gonna spare you this time

Rika. His taste overlaps with both Kohei’s and Juo’s but Juo’s and Kohei’s really don’t match so they let Rika choose what to play, that way they’ll both get to enjoy

Kohei and Rika go at it, no mercy. They each have games they’re better at. Juo just watches them and eat popcorn, the other two can get pretty fired up. Kohei tends to be better tho.

Kohei and Juo go to sleep later than Rika and when they get into bed it wakes him up, plus Juo is for the restroom breaks. RIP Rika’s sleep, I’m sorry honey

They have separate beds and rooms, because they all have wildly different hours and habits. They do sometimes sneak in each other's beds, tho

Juo starts the stupid arguments 70% of the time, and depending who's involved then the other one, so either Rika or Kohei, breaks it. The remaining 30% are nerd discourses and controverses. Juo watches Kohei and Rika fight with popcorn and fuels the fire by asking questions. Agent of chaos.

4. Which two got together first? Or did they all start dating each other at once?

Juo and Rika first, then Rika and Kohei and finally, when Juo and Kohei can stand in the same room without wanting to kill the other, Yamajuoka ❤️

Best cook: Rika. Worst cook: Kohei and Juo start off the same level. When Rika teaches them, eventually Juo becomes better at cooking but Kohei better at baking.

So.. the AU™

Setting: post-canon/no arrive (so beware of spoilers) - everyone came back to the normal world

Additional notes: Juo didn’t die + post redemption, Kuon has a body, humans that got close to god + strong angels + apostle got remnants of their powers such as physical power and enhanced senses

This AU is my Yamajuoka (Yamanami x Juo x Rika) playground so it’s mainly that

And now, the details:

Juo and Rika got in a physical relationship while still in the high-rise world. Rika & Kohei are very close then too but not romantically or sexually involved. Kohei is wary of Juo, Juo is lowkey jealous of Kohei’s closeness with Rika, your typical love triangle. Juo is undergoing redemption and at that time the only person he can stand is Rika (and Rika is one of the rare that can stand Juo)

When they come back, after some adaptation time, Rika and Juo move in together. Rika gets in an open romantic relationship with Kohei. Kohei and Juo get used to each other. Juo and Rika also start dating. They gradually go from V relationship to T relationship. After a while, because Yamajuo is slow burn, they become a triad.

Kohei is a programmer, Rika is a lawyer (when he was still a student he worked as a private tutor), Juo is a mechanic. They all move in together after they’ve all been out of uni for a few years.

In the meantime: 

Yuri and Nise have been dating each other since way back. Yuri is still in uni, Nise started working straight out of high-school. When they all came back, Nise started living with the Honjo. They’re saving up to move in together.

Yuuka is my big interrogation mark. Since we only know about his life when he was, like, seven, it’s hard to think of what to do with him. I’ll wait for more canon info for all that concerns him.

Kuon went back to her family and is being trained to inherit her father’s company. She’s still in contact with the others but she can’t see them very often because of familial restrictions. She’s still crushing hard on Sniper

Haruka sees them as big brothers and she often comes to see them. They become her safe place when she has nowhere to go. Her dad doesn’t approve of any that but she’s a chaotic kitten and the more she sees Juo the more chaotic she becomes

because yes, even with redemption, Juo stays a chaotic bastard, just less evil. You can’t prove he killed that cop or that one homophobe 

Kohei wears an eyepatch on his eye, Juo has a glass eye

Juo has no ties to a family but Kohei still sees his.
