Okay but when the Reader had disappeared before, Oliver had been so beside himself for so long. He never stopped looking for them though, even after all these years. He still held out hope for reuniting with his bby again so when he and Dinah hear a knock on their door late one night and open it to see their beloved lost bby standing there before their eyes you can bet this man sobbed holding his bby in his arms again.

To say both Dinah and Oliver are appalled hearing what all Bruce and his other boys have been doing, especially to their bby, is an absolute fucking understatement. You’re damn right they’re disgusted and enraged, it takes everything in Oliver to not run out the door then and there and give those fuckholes what they deserve, but he needs to be here for his bby. They’re the one that matters the most right now, they always have been.

I’m completely imagining an absolutely unwilling!darling in this scenario and just the thought that while the Reader was going through the whole ordeal with the batfamily they thought numerous times about how good they had it with Olly all those years before. Hrhhmhr imagine yanpapa Oliver reacting to his bby just. Not being there one day. They up and moved to some other state, after having not made any indication they were gonna leave. They just squirreled away whatever money they could and stay with a friend on the other side of the country until they can build a life there or something, and Oliver just desperately tracking them down to bring them home. I love to see him suffer <3

Oliver would immediately be thrown into a desperate and panicky thought process before calming and collecting himself. He’ll look everywhere he knows, reaching out to whoever or whatever he can to get a grasp of where his bby might be. Once he has hit dead end after dead end over and over again is when he would be thrown back into panicking. He’ll clutch and grasp at whatever straws or leads he can get his hands on. When those start running out or just plain not leading to anything concerning his precious bby is when Oliver feels lost. He knows he can’t give up and he never will but what else is there?

Oliver’s first thought would be that someone took his bby, probably to get to him no less. He will track down and brutalize any and all of his enemies that he knows of and maybe even the enemies of other heroes just for extra measure and demand where his bby is. When that doesn’t lead him any closer to his bby, Oliver will ask, beg, plead for the help of his fellow heroes in searching for his kiddo. He’ll rally up anyone and everyone he can.

When he is hit with the fact that his bby left of their own accord, even going as far as to squirrel away money just so they could and to do so just get away from him no less would be a lot for him to try and process. He can’t bring himself to believe it aft first. And he’ll probably stay in denial until he sees his bby for himself, living happily somewhere far away from him, Roy and Dinah. As if they didn’t have a whole ass family and the best of the best heroes (and maybe some villains who were beaten and blackmailed into helping too) looking high and low for them.

Oliver would be so hurt and angry but more than anything he’s relieved his bby is safe and alive. One things for sure though; their ass is coming home even if Oliver has to drag them back by their pinky toe, screaming their head off all the way. He’ll punish them accordingly for running away and wasting the rest of the League’s time and resources. And making him damn near rip his hair out and have a heart attack. But at the end of the day he’ll just be happy to have his bby back in his arms.

This man will surely show up at his bby’s job. Especially if they work at a clothing store, coffee shop/bakery, a restaurant, ect. Really anywhere where it’s his bby’s job to wait on and tend to him, Oliver will definitely be dropping by. It’s the only time he gets to spend time with them and this time they can’t really get away. Not if they value/need their job. But then again I could also see him purposely seeking out his bby’s work just to annoy them and get them fired, then they would be more likely to depend on him once they lose their job.

Oliver definitely doesn’t like that his bby isn’t living with him. He could put up with them having a job as long as they were still at home with him but once they leave the nest (or if they don’t live in the nest to begin with), Oliver would be left feeling even more needy than usual. He would definitely break into their apartment; 1) to test the security of the place, 2) to check on his bby, and 3) because he missed them so much. His bby may wake up one day and find him all moved into their apartment all because Papa couldn’t part with his bby.

He will definitely insert himself into his bby’s love life. As far as he’s concerned his bby isn’t old enough to be in a relationship of any kind. In his eyes his bby will never be old enough. Any suitors or love interests don’t stay around long, not when Papa Oliver is there to get rid of them. As much as he wants his bby happy, he wants to be the one to make them hapoy. He doesn’t want them to need anyone but him. But if his bby were a bit more willing to put up with him and be more accepting of him altogether then Oliver could maybe tolerate them having crushes. Yandad Steve would be so expectant, all the dads would to be honest. When Reader doesn’t say the words he’s expecting, Steve will clear his throat, say he’s leaving again and how long it’ll be before he saw his bby again. Maybe they just didn’t hear him. If he still doesn’t get the words he wants though then he won’t leave until he does.

Yanpapa Oliver would also be under the impression that his bby didn’t hear him say goodbye. He’d wait a second, repeat himself and if he still doesn’t get what he wants then he’s a crying mess clutching onto his bby for dear life. Just say the words and he’ll act as if nothing happened, going back to his “normal” papa self.

Yandad Bruce isn’t going to let that fly. No, he’s getting an “I love you” before he leaves. Bruce is the type to not repeat himself or work you through what he wants of you, no, he’ll just stand in place and stare at his bby expectantly. And if they want him to stop and leave them they’ll say the words back.

Yandad Clark would be the type to walk his bby through saying the words. Like, “Bye, Y/n! Be home soon. Love you!” “K. Bye Clark.” He’s at the door, hand hovering over the handle, “And?” There’ll be a notable sigh and then Reader will finally say the words. Once they do, Clark will happily be on his way.

Yandad Lex, much like Bruce, would silently stare at his bby expectantly. He won’t leave until they say it and if he doesn’t think the words are said genuinely or with enough emotion then he’s still not leaving until they are.

Yandad Hal has no problem telling his bby what he wants to hear. Like, “Bye, Y/n! Love you!” “Yeah. Bye, Hal.” There’ll be an expectant pause before Reader hears a semi threatening, semi reminding “Say it.” Like all the other dads, once the words are said he’ll leave.

Yandad Wolverine never says the words himself but he’ll be damned if his bby doesn’t say them. Just one arched brow from him and those words will come flying out Reader’s mouth no problem.

Yandad Deadpool would be so annoying about it. Honestly, Wade says “I love you” after every other sentence and more times then not he expects his bby to answer every single one with their own “I love you too”. But goodbyes are extremely important to Wade, even though he tries to play them off as nothing. It’s when he’s leaving that he really needs his bby to tell him they love him. Lex would burn the letter and act as if nothing ever happened. If it doesn’t fit his narrative then it doesn’t exist.

Bruce is another who would keep it because it’s from his bby but he won’t read it again. He keeps anything his bby gives him, good or bad.

Just imagine if Oliver find out that his baby and his partner Roy started to seeing each other secretly?What if Roy's also a Yandere towards his baby?

Oliver would feel betrayed by Roy and wouldn’t be very accepting of the relationship. It’s one thing for some random person to try and put the moves on his bby but his own sidekick?! Oliver would have no problem getting rid of anyone else but he can’t bring himself to do the same with Roy.

If Oliver is adamant about Roy not seeing his bby anymore and Roy himself is yandere, he would try and take his darling away with him. If Reader is still not accepting of Oliver and wanting to get away from him any chance they get, they would use Roy to do just that. Roy would be all the happier to have his darling to himself, besides he wouldn’t be as monopolizing as Oliver. Not unless given a reason.

If it got to that point, I could see it going one of two ways; fight to the death or compromise. Either Oliver and Roy will fight and the last one standing gets to keep Reader. Or they compromise and work together., two is always better than one they say.

Okay so we know about Steve and he’d react to being stood up on Father’s Day but what about the other dads

Yandad Bruce Wayne/Batman: Bruce would lowkey be hurt if his bby stood him up for their own real father or stepdad or whatever paternal figure who was there before him. He’d be a little petty, not directed towards his bby of course but more aimed towards whoever they chose to spend Father’s Day with. After the first time, Bruce wouldn’t allow for a second time of being stood up. Why celebrate separately when you can blend the two together? From then on he would hold a Father’s Day BBQ at the manor, inviting his bby’s father over too so that they wouldn’t have any reason to push him and the Batfamily to the side.

Yandad Clark Kent/Superman: Unlike Bruce, Clark would be extremely hurt if his bby stood him up on Father’s Day. He would have been looking forward to spending the day with his bby and the rest of the Superfamily. His reaction would probably be better is his bby let him know in advance that they wouldn’t be showing up or something. If they weren’t to let him know at all then he would be really upset. The day would involve him moping around and losing some of the motivation he had for the day. He’d be glad that his family was still there with him but it would be even better to have his family whole and with his bby not their then it’s not the same. Clark would without a doubt guilt trip his bby into spending the next Father’s Day with him. Or make it up to him by spending some quality time with him and the Sueprfam.

I have no doubt that he would crash wherever his bby is spending Father’s Day, he may even challenge his bby’s real dad or preferred paternal figure to a Battle of the Dads. It would be ridiculous but he’d take it pretty seriously. The challenge would probably involve whichever dad could handle Oliver’s chili better. He’d win of course.

Yandad Hal Jordan/Green Lantern: Hal wouldn’t even think twice of crashing wherever his bby was spending Father’s Day. He’d invite himself over and have a good ol’ time with his bby’s real family. He may even invite some of the Green Lantern Corp over to have a good time. Let’s be honest, Hal would be so petty. He’d make himself as charming and charismatic as possible so his bby’s family would invite him over again, not only for Father’s Day but also for every other Holliday. Although, Hal would prefer to spend his time with his bby alone he can’t say this wouldn’t be a win too.

Yandad Barry Allen/The Flash: Barry would understand his bby wanting to spend time with their family but he’s here too you know? He’d like to spend some quality time with them, especially on a holiday, let alone a holiday dedicated to dads which he is now that he’s got them in his life. He’s really dedicated to this new role he’s given himself in regards to his bby so it would hurt him to to be able to spend actual Father’s day with them but he would be content to have a late Father’s Day get together with his bby. Barry wouldn’t be nearly as petty as any of the other dads but he still takes Father’s Day very seriously, especially given that his father was locked away when he was younger.

Yanpapa Joker: Joker would not take being stood up by his bby well at all. He’d be pretty livid honestly. As far as he knows he’s his bby’s only papa and that’s that. There’s no room for anyone else, especially not their real dad. Depending on his mood he would either crash wherever his bby is spending Father’s Day and kill anyone and everyone there (beside his bby of course) as punishment for standing him up on his special day. Or he would wait awhile and do something else cruel and scarring to his bby’s family so they won’t have any reason to have to choose between him and them again. Either way his bby’s family is getting taken care of the only difference is whether he wants his bby to witness it or not.

Yandad Lex Luthor: Lex would be extremely petty about being stood up on Father’s Day, both towards his bby and whoever they stood him up for. I just imagine him having planned out his own Father’s Day celebration, all his bby would’ve had to do was show up, but he was left waiting all alone at some fancy restaurant he bought out just for him and his bby. That’s the last time he agrees to not picking them up in the first place but he thought he could trust them to show up. Just know that his bby will be making up Father’s Day to him. His plans would all be the same as before but he’s picking them up from the start and he demands a genuine gift from then that they put a lot of thought into. Then maybe he can work on forgiving them for standing him up.

Yandad Tony Stark/Iron Man: Tony wouldn’t be happy about missing out on Father’s Day with his bby but he would at least appreciate them telling him that they aren’t going to be there. At the very least, then his pettiness wouldn’t be nearly as bad. And yes he is another petty one, one of the pettier ones really. If his bby didn’t give him any notice before hand then he would be force to be reckoned with that whole day. Couldn’t they have at the very least shot him a text or an email, a voicemail would’ve been real nice but really he would have taken anything. No one in his path would be safe from his bad mood. Tony would be more sarcastic then usual, more brazen with his quips. He’d just be in a foul mood the whole day and even a few more days afterwards. The only thing that would bring his mood up would actually being able to spend some amount of quality time with his bby. And an apology would be nice too.

Yanpapa Logan Howlett/Wolverine: Logan honestly probably would never have taken Father’s Day seriously until his bby came into his life. He still wouldn’t be as over the top as some of the other dads/papas but he would still hold some amount of hurt at being stood up for Father’s Day. His thing would more so be about not even being acknowledged as someone important in his kid’s life then them actually spending time with their real family. Some acknowledgment is all he’d want, along with some time with his kid but if it’s one day the he can tolerate them spending time away from him. For awhile.

Yandad Wade Wilson/Deadpool: Wade isn’t going to let his bby off the hook for standing him up on Daddy’s Day. He’s crashing wherever it is they are and he’s not leaving without them. He’ll kick whoever’s ass he has to if it means he gets his Daddy’s Day with his bby. Wade may have even enlisted some help to bring his bby back home to him, probably uncle Wolverine with the promise that he’d be invited to Wade’s Daddy Day BBQ.

Yandad Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man: There’s a good chance that whatever father or paternal figure his bby had before him has already been dealt with and taken care of for good. So he wouldn’t need to worry about being stood up, but on the occasion that his bby took on a new paternal figure to get away from him then Nolan would be pretty pissed. His bby’s already got a good family in him, Debbie and Mark, they don’t need anyone else and he’s not going to just allow for someone else to take his place. Nolan would just have to do what he did again with his bby’s family the first time around. Maybe this time he’d make more of a point to reinforce that he’s the only dad for his bby.

Yanpapa Chris Redfield: Imagine standing Chris up on Father’s Day? He wouldn’t be happy at all. He’d be pretty grumpy the whole time really. He may even give his bby the silent treatment for not spending Father’s Day with him. Hell, if he’s feeling especially upset with being pushed aside for some other father figure, Chris may just get Jill, Claire, and maybe even Leon to come with him to crash wherever his bby is. He just wants to show that his bby’s got another family looking out for them. And maybe to rub it in their other family’s face how cool they are. Either way, Chris would still be butt hurt that he was overlooked for his bby’s other family. The only think that would make him feel better was if they spent some time with him, Claire and Jill (he couldn’t care less about Leon in this situation).
