Good news! We did not take senior photos! And yes my hair appointment went very well 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ I now have purple and pink hair (split into like four sections and it’s like alternating so pink in front and purple in back on one side and the opposite on the other side) THE ORANGEY PINK WAS NOT PRETTY. DO NOT LET IT FOOL YOU. It was like bad blonde orange and like salmon pink- not good it looked really bad and washed me out bcs cookie anon has a complexion that rivals Casper the ghost.

Hope you had a great weekend, and a belated Happy Valentine’s Day! I personally had a full weekend and work is already killing me. Being a corporate girlie is hard. But I hope you re well though ^_^

I had to reply to your yapping and to say that I couldn’t agree more with everything you said. I’m fully manifesting that Nam-Gyu lives, but knowing how cliché some shows can be, I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to make him the villain archetype just because they need one. And unfortunately, I feel like we’re not even going to get a proper backstory because they’ll probably focus more on the other players instead. I just hope they don’t go the predictable route with him and make Min-Su take revenge for Se-Mi—it would be such an easy, uninspired choice, and he deserves so much more than that. Also, I find it so funny how I originally rewatched Squid Game for Dae-Ho and somehow ended up hyper-fixating on Nam-Gyu instead—and then rewatched again just for him LMAO. TikTok is actually dangerous because the way I spiraled into obsessing over how hot he is??? Insane. I have a whole collection of over 370 edits dedicated to him, and the worst part is I have literally no one to share them with 😭.

I had another moment of weakness—got caught up watching TikToks of him again—and now I kind of want another yap session if you re up for it to decipher his character through the lens of small sequences that may seem irrelevant to others. And who knows, perhaps it can help with his characterization as well. But let me know when you're free for another yapping session.

and i completely agree with you on the nam-gyu thing... a small part of me wants to think they WON'T go the cliche route that i'm very much expecting and let him live + have some sort of arc aside from being the 'villain' of s3, but based on what i was hearing in the most recent interviews we got, i unfortunately think they will LMAO </3

one thing i'm at least happy about is that jaewon confirmed that nam-gyu will have a significant amount of screen time next season! THANKKK GOD. if they're gonna kill him / leave him as a loose end, then damn at least we get to see him for a good amount of time </3

like............. based on what they said here.... rest in fucking peace nam-gyu and min-su </3 rest in peace all of thanos team omfg they are NOTTT making it out of there alive 😂🙏🙏🙏 it really does seem like they're gonna take the 'min-su kills nam-gyu' route, or at least have their deaths be adjacent with each other, maybe in one of the final games. i have really low expectations, which is fine. and yeah i'm sure there won't be a deep backstory or barely anything at all for nam-gyu considering there's just sooo many other characters to cover (ones that i feel are deemed more important than nam-gyu as well) and they also gotta move the plot along. i guess the silver-lining is that if they do leave it open-ended and don't give us any nam-gyu crumbs, it leaves a lot of room for headcanons and interpretations at the very least, yayyy 😢

edit: ALSOOO did you seeeee that we got confirmation from roh jaewon that nam-gyu is secretly just a dude who wants to be loved... <3 i'm SOOO happy that there's something to put to rest the idea that he's an evil dude with no humanity lmao and align with how we interpreted him. if we get nothing else about nam-gyu, i'm honestly happy enough with just that, HAHA.

You're absolutely right that I lean towards more chimera-ish traits for Teto, and that's 'cuz I think it's cute hahaha xD As a chimera, she IS a kind of animal (a combination of more than one of them), but I want to assure my audience that I don't make her animal-like 'cuz I'm a full-blooded furry or anything hhdsfkfds I do it 'cuz I really like the contrast with Miku (who's learning how to be more human-like and isn't instinctual/"alive" like Teto) and 'cuz I really like the idea of Teto's more unconscious side giving her away. Animals are pretty instinctual/straightforward (a dog's tail will wag when happy, for example) so Teto's tail is always doing all the talking even if she acts outwardly tsundere. In one of my yapping sessions (one of the first ones), I even talk about how her wings and pose might change to imitate/recall the defensive posture of an owl, so she's animal-like without going the full nine yards and being an ACTUAL animal (in terms of "non-human-like" vs not, I think/hope you get what I mean without me being 100% accurate over definitions fsdhkfsjdfds)

With all that said, purring isn't out of the question for her but my favorite animal to compare her to is the dragon (as a shameless dragon lover) so the animals I usually compare her to are typically, like, aggressive fhdhfkjds What that means, obviously, is instead of being cute and cat-like, she's more likely to growl, snarl, or bark instead of purr (I hope this mental image isn't off-putting LMAO I'm talking purely theory, she might not do these things if my brain ultimately decides it's too out of character for her), but yeah! Hmm!!

What I'll give you is if chimera Teto is relaxed and calm enough, it's not farfetched for her to purr (make a contented sound from her throat, the definition of purring) but are you sure you want this fhshdfkdsfsd How far can it go before the animal-ness gets too weird wwwwww

I'm not self-conscious about it or anything www I just want to say that this Teto (chimera Teto) also has a lot of pride, so even if she ever wanted to, she would probably NEVER do anything like roll on her back and act cat-like/ask for pats, so she's got some human-like ego to get past first before she ever acts cuddly like a kitten. Like I said before, she's more likely to growl in my head than purr, so I feel like even that growling can be turned into like a sound of satisfaction. BUT gdskfldsfs she's animal-LIKE but she doesn't go THAT far, so I would have to figure out what kind of situation would call for that hhkjdshdsj Teto still knows how to smile and express her feelings without acting like an animal (I feel like the latter is PRECISELY what embarrasses her and what she suppresses, stuff like if she ever gets slightly possessive or needy towards Miku) so yeah, I wrote all of that just to ramble about your suggestion and how the Teto in my mind is reacting to all of that xD
