Oh boy do I! Both victims and perpetrators of scientific exploration✨️

YAPPOK: Part of a larger project the Inquest orchestrated to try and lab-grow asura hybrids that would have exaggerated features and traits to aid in missions not well suited for a standard asura. Yappok was spliced with a water opossum, having 6 fingers and toes on each limb along with a vestigial tail and light fur coverage. Yappok is immensely skilled at climbing with an acute sense of hearing, managed to escape during an incident with another test subject!

ILLIADDE: She was the pride and joy of the Nightmare court, carefully cultivated and experimented on utilizing an alliance with the Inquest. Being as resiliant as she is, they tried to make her the ultimate soldier, bass-boosting her magical abilities with concentrated leyline magic. What didn't kill her certainly made her stronger in a very painful way. Her body now self-produces ley energy, keeping her in top form and burning through her.

ENVERT: Real mad scientist energy here, Envert has a love of figuring out how things tick and how to alter them. She creates horrid abominations for whatever purposes you may need, and in her spare time just fucks around with creatures for the fun and scientific exploration of it all. She's even experimented on herself quite a bit, having fun with how bloodstone might interact with a sylvari and keeping herself from going too crazy from it by offloading the brunt of the effects to a soulbound murellow she keeps close.

FANTEI: An engineer background with a particular love for biology creates a very gruesome mix in Fantei. Her gizmos all contain pieces of what was once her dear lover. Her own body has been spliced with what remains weren't useful in said gizmos.

Immu has a very intimate relationship to it, as a researcher and explorer of magic! They've leapt deep into the relationships it holds with life and magic in Tyria and are likely one of the most knowledgeable now on how it all actually relates!

Tvelle really doesn't even consider the concept. Left it far behind when she ran away from home as a rebellious teen.

Trella knows it well and has done her classes diligently, as a college graduate who was impressive enough to gain grants for her own krewe right out of the gate. She was not very interested in the concept initially, but circumstances changed her mind and now she's very...wary of it as a well that can be fallen into to consume the mind of one trying to learn more.

Praxxie thinks it's a load of bullshit, but he plays the part all the same! It's a little annoying that even inquest acknowledge it, but he's got a lab to run and pretending he cares about it makes things run smoother.

Alvvae finds it very interesting in a "would listen to an expert talk about it for hours" but the subject doesn't strike an interest to learn beyond that. She sees it as the energy that connects everything, and holds that belief but nothing deeper.

Bodacc learned about the concept very late in life, and tried to believe in it but just can't. She was raised so differently.

Illicitt believes it and the other races' beliefs are likely all different interpretations of the same world energy.

Vuisce is very very knowledgeable on the eternal alchemy and how the world's magical energy all ties together. They spent years on the Priory studying intently on how the elder dragons play into it and why the balance is crucial after all. And they work hard to keep that balance so everything doesn't come crashing down.

Yappok has no idea what it is aside from a word that yappok's captors would throw around a lot.

Nixxte is aware of the eternal alchemy in the same way they're aware that the humans have strong beings they call gods or the white mantle think the mursaat are enlightened beings.

Urzzu has looked into it very deeply, in an earnest attempt to truly fuck with it. She spent years experimenting on beings she considered lesser (any beings really) trying to pull at threads and see what happens.

Whomstdve and Yalldntve birth enjoy just fucking around and finding out✨️

Matthias dresses with intent every day. His outfits are carefully curated down to how high he buttons a shirt or how high he laces his boots. Everything has to fit exactly what's expected of him, nothing can be off even a little. Any small change or slip could lead to a question, a crack in his façade, someone getting one step closer to realizing he doesn't belong here and doesn't deserve what he has.

Yappok is creachur in every way, Yappok's clothes are cobbled together from pretty cloths and shiny bobbles found and nicked from people who aren't looking! Bit of a mess, but a very fun mess~

Alvvae - she's gone once or twice and loves exchanging knowledge with her surface dwelling cousins!

Bodacc - never got the chance to experience it but acts a little too rough for most asura to get along with. Wants to go, would be uncomfortable there.

Tvelle - ran away from school in middle school and hasn't set foot back in rata sum since.

Illicit - got on a ship and never looked back!
