I had the idea for this after doing a worksheet for #PlotsExplainedBadly. The worksheet is movie titles translated to other languages and translated back to English. (It’s funnier than it sounds.)
Some of my favorites:
“The Happy Dumpling-To-Be Who Talks and Solves Agricultural Problems” (Babe)
“He’s a Ghost!” (China straight up ruining the ending of The Sixth Sense)
“It’s Raining Falafel” (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs)
“The Young People Who Traverse Dimensions While Wearing Sunglasses” (The Matrix)

#LIS7423 This was another workshop at WonderCon that proves there is so much more to explore when seeking the connection between libraries and the communities they serve. Mental health issues and the perceptions of mental health in entertainment isn’t often discussed, but it needs to be addressed, especially by librarians who may be called upon to guide patrons to resources and materials dealing with mental health topics.
