Yashahime Fan Comic - Acknowledgement

I made this comic during the second season of Yasahime, but had originally posted it on Twitter. I've decided to post it here so all you other lovely Yashahime/SessRin fans can read it too! ✨

This was a big comic project that I wanted to do, I really liked Sesshomaru's mother and wanted to add her to my SessRin comics, and what better way than seeing Rin again and learning of the twins.

I hope you guys like the comic! Let me know what you think! Even though I don't make as much SessRin/Inuyasha/Yashahime artwork as I used to, I still adore this fandom! 💖

After finishing ‘Fruits Basket’ I didn’t know what to go to so I started watching ‘Yashahime’ and it’s soooo good. ‘Inuyasha’ was and still is my comfort anime growing up so I’m so happy to see all the kids and their stories 😭❤️ Moroha is literally the perfect balance of her parents.

Did you guys know that the manga of yashahime princess half-demon wa so much better then the anime? If you were disappointed by the anime, I would hundred percent recommend reading the manga.

fascinated by (what im assuming is) the latest chapter of yashahime because YEESH

(i'll put my thoughts under spoilers just in case)

on one hand im like, wow. this is. way better written than the anime. not surprised, it's been like that from the get-go, honestly. and then you have details like:

rin dreaming that she is her younger self before waking up to sesshomaru

rin still referring to herself as "rin"

sesshomaru just fucking LEAVING the second she wakes up like goodbyyyyye

towa noting how YOUNG she is and even saying THEY COULD BE SISTERS

rin getting drunk and picked up by kohaku and then IMMEDIATELY drawing parallels to when they were kids.

rin getting taken care of my setsuna with the note "the roles have completely reversed"

IT'S LIKE……………………. maybe im reading too much into it, but i DO think the "rin mom" situation is being handled better in the manga by CONSTANTLY REFERRING TO HOW FUCKED UP IT IS. like, to me it doesn't seem "haha cute" it seems "hey, isn't this thing fucked up? look how young she is. look how young she is. LOOK HOW YOUNG SHE IS. AND WHERE'S THAT TRASH "HUSBAND" OF HERS ANYWAY"

idk it seems to be handled with a bit more grace in my opinion…? i'd LIKE to see it pushed further by sesshomaru getting his fucking dues by SOMEONE but honestly that's probably not gonna happen. especially not with the manga being supervised by the yashahime anime team. (i can only assume as much.)

anyway. sesshomaru's a freak. your honor, kill this man.

Inuyasha looked at her and he knew: there wasn't enough time.

He had grown less anxious and jaded with age, by having a more stable and loving life, but his instincts were still sharp and he could feel it every time he looked at his daughter: Disaster would come; disaster always came.

He looked at her constantly, trying to record every moment, every minute facial expression and gesture, every new discovery and step in her growth. He wanted to be there for her always, to be present for all the moments as she grew into who she was meant to be, the good, the bad, the happy and the scary. He wanted to imprint all these moments into his mind, to give him strength to survive all the moments he wouldn't be there for.

But there wasn't enough time.

There would never be enough time.

I’m standing by my previous stance that the only things that are canon from Yashahime are Moroha and Kirinmaru, including Kirinmaru and Sesshomaru’s…closeness. @inuyashapridemonth

Sesshomaru and rin were never a couple. Yashahime should never have been made. It is the worst anime I have ever seen in my life. I watched a couple episodes and stopped watching it. Do not watch trashihime.
