Staring at the wax pod containers as if they hold all the answers today. Guess I'll start by making some Mikey and Sanzu ones. 🧍🏻‍♀️

My Imbolc

was amazing. This is my first Imbolc ever and since my sabbath pal @dontknowwhyiamhere is sick I celebrated alone.

I sat under a tree, burned some tibetan incense and tied a stripe of white cloth to a branch of the tree after putting my intentions in it. I then lit three candles I carved with sigils. The main one was the white-but-also-a-bit-pink I spoke about here, which I carved with this lovely Imbolc sigil.

I carved the second and third on with two sigils I made the other day since my main focus now and for this new year is to believe in my work and to be consistent with it.

I meditated and wonderful imagines related to Brigid came to my mind. Since Brigid is the patron of smiths I associated my work with smiths’ work and it gave me so much energy. I love the idea of putting all my strenght and my passion into my work and mastering it through the repetition of the same gesture, over and over without being let down by failures, as smiths do.

I let the candles consume even if the ‘I’m persistent’ one took a bit longer (yay, that’s my main problem).

I loved the way the wax melted into chunks that looked like sculptures. I collected the wax and I’m going to use it to make new candles so this Imbolc energy will keep going.

While they were burning I drew one card from my tarot deck and I got the nine of wands which basically told me: GET OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE NO EXCUSES, you have everything ready, your abilites and tools, just DO SOMETHING.

I loved it. It was exaclty what I neede to hear. I‘m drawn towards wands so much lately and now I know why.

Now I’m going to conclude this amazing day indoor (I froze outside) with a good Imbolc tarot spread and maybe a hot cleansing bath.
