I genuinely still wanna write for your boyfriend, but then what the creator did makes me hesitant to do so. It's like the Snuffbomb situation- I'm still immensely hesitant to write about his creation because of the things he did. I wanna still like the game, but just hate the creator. I honestly wouldn’t, that’s just me personally. I feel like they’re on different playing fields. I feel like the content itself varies, LJ and YBF being in different leagues entirely.

LJ can’t really be monetarily supported, that I know of? Creepypasta is like, largely in a Creative Commons space where people just latch onto an OC and make them what we consider “canon.” There’s multiple versions of him to the point he doesn’t even really belong to snuffbomb, that’s just where his origins came from.

YBF has a different feeling, if that makes any sense?? Like the character himself feels wrong imo. Could you still write for YBF? Sure. However, I wouldn’t. I feel like the very core of who Peter (that’s his name, Peter, right?) is is kinda messed up in a way LJ isn’t? YBF content might even bring more people into the fandom, more people to support it, potentially even monetarily? I don’t know how people are supporting the game. Patreon, probably? Peter himself feels weird imo, like, even the boundaries of what a yandere is get majorly crossed.

I don’t know if it’s possible to separate the two in this instance because so much of the creator’s faults and behavior are in Peter and that’s that weird feeling bubbling through.

I know what his real name is, but he will go by Dustin since he absolutely fucking hates his real name. If your muses ever call him by his actual name I cannot promise, if it’s a repeated thing he isn’t gonna lash out and be upset.

this one is for if I ever have other Y.our Bo.yfriend muses, Y/N’s and YBF self inserts/OCs included, unless we talk about it in DMs and plot it, Dustin will not have gotten his name from Y/N. Rather he will have picked it up from a friend who he is no longer in contact with and it’s been the best name he’s ever gotten.

Um edit because I didn’t get to finish: yes, he is absolutely obsessive but he is shown to know and understand some boundaries, the way I run him may be different from how he’s portrayed in the game and even as the later days 3 4 and 5 come out I will tweak and change how he is but I will not budge from how I decide to play him as of right now.
