#федоровка #аэропорт #омск #ybr125 (at Fëdorovka, Omskaya Oblast', Russia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfUb-FLMMxe/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
14th August Ride to Bal Puri mandir Waterfall - Thana Ahmed Khan.
You will need a support of local to go there. Roads were average. A little bit off-road track. Cars won't be able to go there. It's a great hidden treasure or Sindh to explore.

I'd confirmed with the multimeter that the key barrel was an issue, so here I am trying to bypass that sucker with various bits of wire and an old clip as a ground.
Seconds later I would decide the clip sucked and clamp the ground to the frame with a nut and bolt instead, but I was too hype to stop and take a picture, so you get this instead. Pls know that bad grounds are quite often the main fault with fucked electrics, so make sure yours is good if you're doing diagnostics like this.
I managed to get the dash turned on like this — by connecting that white cable with a bullet connector into the red main and then jabbing the bare copper end into the central port of the electrical connector.
To check for spark, I removed the sparkplug boot, stuck a spare spark plug in that boot, held the spark plug tip about 3mm from a bare bolt, and pressed the starter — you'll see the spark if it's good.
Mine was not good. I tried connecting the CDI to the live as well, which was stupid; if you look at the wiring diagram, the brown wire that goes to the dash also circles around to the CDI, so the CDI wire needed to be grounded. But this became clear to me soon afterward anyway, as I decided to take apart my key barrel.
This was cool to see, as basic as it is. There are four connection points on that blue disc, two on either side, and when the key turns, it connects them in those pairs. So, by flipping it over to see which wires are soldered into which points...
I see that when the key turns, the red live connects to the brown wire down to the dash etc, and the black and grey CDI cable connects to the ground.
I cut the wires loose from the key barrel mechanism, connected red to brown and black to grey-black, bound them up with electrical tape, and plugged them back in as the key barrel had been.

Aw yeah two wheelers. Check out that adorable Tempo, made in Norway and so spindly and lightweight.
And the hubs. Cut open so you can see inside.
There was an interesting plaque near the waxwork of a woman on a motorbike. Small bikes really helped women gain access to transport; they were cheaper than cars and you didn't need a licence.
And that was true for me personally. In my early twenties, my YBR125 was key to getting me out of a depressive rut. I passed my compulsory basic training at a cost of one afternoon and £100, and within a few weeks I had that cheap basic bike and could get myself to interviews, shops, training centres. Revolutionary for me at the time.
