From og E-Soul’s POV, he saved a little kid but failed to save his parents. He wasn’t fast enough, and then couldn’t even take off his helmet to comfort a child. If he remembered YC later on, he probably thought YC had reason to hate him.

From YC’s POV, he was a weak little kid who couldn’t save his own parents. But if he’d been E-Soul that night, he could’ve saved them. Compared to E-Soul, Yang Cheng was the failure.

These two needed therapy and a real conversation.
