#ask #some variation of this question has been asked and answered millions of times #I’ve asked it myself to artists I like #but honestly you just gotta put in the hours #it sucks because I hate patience and practice LOL I wanna be good instantly #tho I will say #unless you’re trying to be come a career artist dont push yourself to draw anything u don’t want to #for years I just drew cute girls and gay people and then eventually I had to learn bgs in order to make my cute girls and gay ppl more cool #and same w props etc etc etc #I tried to learn rendering for a while but is just not fun to me #and then I was like wait why am I pushing myself to unfun art? I don’t need to be career skilled #it’s just a hobby #so yeah like there is ofc worth in studies and pushing urself a bit #but for my fellow hobbyists: it’ll come naturally eventually as u want to make ur pieces shine. dont torture urself #and for u anon. just put in the years #some stuff like iterative drawing and again references can speed it up a bit #draw daily if u want to shorten the years to improve #but overall the hours to learn will be mostly the same.#I myself have many years to go still and many hours before I’m at where I want to be haha

Once again I read fanfiction that seems to have been precisely written to deal psychic damage to me.

#this is about viridian the green guide. you guys actually read this slop?#boring as shit writing #awful plot lines (trigger has been resolved get new material #excessive use of italics and ‘problem child’. has the author heard anyone use a nickname irl ever #I hate bakugou slightly less than I hate Deku but even I could tell they suck at writing him #skipped over a few chapters because the writing was melting my brain but he would never be that condescending to himself #who the hell thinks ‘I’ve decided to not be an asshole’ with total seriousness #back to the bad plot lines. endeavor *checks notes* becomes a nomu and dies? I’m still so mad and confused about the master during thirteen’s seasons. Like. Okay. I figured the master would become a major villain again because they’re the master and they’re iconic and etc etc but Missy literally developed SO fucking much and it was completely ignored and not even MENTIONED during thirteen’s run. Like why the fresh fucking hell did the master go from feeling guilt about what they’ve done and finally admitting “maybe it’s time to stand with the doctor” to That with no acknowledgement and no explanations it makes no goddamn sense to me like whether you liked missy’s redemption arc or not the lack of continuity and erasure of character depth is INFURIATING
