Hello- it's been awhile, but I've been curious to know how your kitty that fell down the stairs (?) has been doing? It's been forever but I still wonder about her sometimes.

Oh anon that’s so sweet of you to ask, thanks! It has been exactly 2 years a few days ago, in fact, since Yen fell from the balcony, but following her intense surgery and treatment rounds she basically made a full recovery and is living quite happy right now. Didn’t seem to inherit any semblance of trauma, just possibly got even sillier. Her leg still sticks out when she sits because of a shattered knee bone fragment, but major locomotion is completely normal and she is not in any kind of pain. Here’s a recent-ish view at her fluffiness:
